Generalized weighted exponential proportional aggregation operators and their applications to group decision making

We present a new aggregation operator called the generalized ordered weighted exponential proportional averaging (GOWEPA) operator, which is based on an optimal model. We study some properties and different families of the GOWEPA operator. We also generalize the GOWEPA operator. The key advantage of the GOWEPA operator is that it is an aggregation operator with theoretic basis on aggregation. Moreover, we propose an orness measure of the GOWEPA operator and indicate some properties of this orness measure. Furthermore, we introduce the least exponential squares method (LESM) to determine the GOWEPA operator weights based on its orness measure. In the end, we develop an application of the new approach in a case of group decision making in investment selection.     

Operator Frames for Banach Spaces

In this paper, operator Bessel sequences, operator frames, Banach operator frames, Operator Riesz bases for Banach spaces and dual frames of an operator frame are introduced and discussed. The necessary and sufficient condition for a Banach space to have an operator frame, a Banach operator frame or an operator Riesz basis are given. In addition, operator frames and operator Riesz bases are characterized by the analysis operator of operator Bessel sequences.     

The Essential Spectrum of a System of Singular Ordinary Differential Operators of Mixed Order. Part II: The Generalization of Kako's Problem

A system of ordinary differential equations of mixed order on an interval (0, r₀) is considered, where some coefficients are singular at 0. Special cases have been dealt with by Kako , where the essential spectrum of an operator associated with a linearized MHD model was calculated, and more recently by Hardt , Mennicken and Naboko . In both papers this operator is a selfadjoint extension of an operator on sufficiently smooth functions. The approach in the present paper is different in that a suitable operator associated with the given system of ordinary differential equations is explicitly defined as the closure of an operator defined on sufficiently smooth functions. This closed operator can be written as a sum of a selfadjoint operator and a bounded operator. It is shown that its essential spectrum is a nonempty compact subset of ℂ, and formulas for the calculation of the essential spectrum in terms of the coefficients are given.     

F格上的逼近算子

粗集理论是波兰学者Pawlak提出的知识表示新理论.Pawlak代数是粗集理论中粗集系统的抽象,其公理系统包含了知识粗表示所必须的全部性质.本文深入研究了F格上的逼近算子,建立了F格上弱逼近算子之间的某些代数运算,从而从理论上建立了各种知识粗表示之间的联系.我们还定义了逼近算子的闭包,进而用逼近算子导出拓扑,为信息系统的近似提供必要的数学基础.最后,作为特例,我们研究了粗集理论中由相似关系导出逼近算子的某些性质.     

On some issues related to the moment problem for the band matrices with operator elements

The connection between the classical moment problem and the spectral theory of second order difference operators (or Jacobi matrices) is a thoroughly studied topic. Here we examine a similar connection in the case of the second order operator replaced by an operator generated by an infinite band matrix with operator elements. For such operators, we obtain an analog of the Stone theorem and consider the inverse spectral problem which amounts to restoring the operator from the moment sequence of its Weyl matrix. We establish the solvability criterion for such problems, find the conditions ensuring that the elements of the moment sequence admit an integral representation with respect to an operator valued measure and discuss an algorithm for the recovery of the operator. We also indicate a connection between the inverse problem method and the Hermite-Padé approximations.

An exponentially convergent algorithm for nonlinear differential equations in Banach spaces

An exponentially convergent approximation to the solution of a nonlinear first order differential equation with an operator coefficient in Banach space is proposed. The algorithm is based on an equivalent Volterra integral equation including the operator exponential generated by the operator coefficient. The operator exponential is represented by a Dunford-Cauchy integral along a hyperbola enveloping the spectrum of the operator coefficient, and then the integrals involved are approximated using the Chebyshev interpolation and an appropriate Sinc quadrature. Numerical examples are given which confirm theoretical results.

     

One Property of the Renormalization Group Operator

We use an isotropic ferromagnet as an example to show that the renormalization group operator can be interpreted as an evolution operator for a system of spins evolving with an increase of the reduced temperature, i.e., as the order operator of the system.

本文利用正则化方法解算子和右端都是近似给定的第一类算子方程,利用广义Arcangeli准则决定正则参数,给出正则解的收敛性和渐近收敛阶估计,以及算子为Fredholm积分算子时的正则解的一致收敛性。     

New sharp inequalities for operator means

New sharp multiplicative reverses of the operator means inequalities are presented, with a simple discussion of squaring an operator inequality. As a direct consequence, we extend the operator Pólya-Szegö inequality to arbitrary operator means. Furthermore, we obtain some new lower and upper bounds for the Tsallis relative operator entropy, operator monotone functions and positive linear maps.     

Calculation of eigenvalues of a discrete self-adjoint operator perturbed by a bounded operator

We generalize the method of regularized traces which calculates eigenvalues of a perturbed discrete operator for the case of an arbitrary multiplicity of eigenvalues of the unperturbed operator. We obtain a system of equations, enabling one to calculate eigenvalues of the perturbed operator with large ordinal numbers. As an example, we calculate eigenvalues of a perturbed Laplace operator in a rectangle.

Conditions for invertibility and Hurwitz stability

In a generalization of Fiedler’s theorem, a block condition for the invertibility of an operator and an estimate for the operator matrix of the inverse operator are presented. A block condition for an operator to be Hurwitz is also given, which contains an estimate of the spectral abscissa of the operator.     

Perturbations of Invertible Operators and Stability of g-Frames in Hilbert Spaces

In this paper, we study the perturbations of invertible operators and stability of g-frames in Hilbert spaces. In particular, we obtain some conditions under which the perturbations of an invertible operator are still an invertible operator, the perturbations of a right invertible operator or a surjective operator are still a right invertible operator or surjective operator. Then we apply the perturbations of invertible operators to study the stability of g-frames which is close related with the invertibility (or right invertibility) property of operators.     

Characterization of Riesz bases of wavelets generated from multiresolution analysis

We investigate Riesz bases of wavelets generated from multiresolution analysis. This investigation leads us to a study of refinement equations with masks being exponentially decaying sequences. In order to study such refinement equations we introduce the cascade operator and the transition operator. It turns out that the transition operator associated with an exponentially decaying mask is a compact operator on a certain Banach space of sequences. With the help of the spectral theory of the compact operator we are able to characterize the convergence of the cascade algorithm associated with an exponentially decaying mask in terms of the spectrum of the corresponding transition operator. As an application of this study we establish the main result of this paper which gives a complete characterization of all possible Riesz bases of compactly supported wavelets generated from multiresolution analysis. Several interesting examples are provided to illustrate the general theory.

Operator kernel estimates for functions of generalized Schrödinger operators

We study the decay at large distances of operator kernels of functions of generalized Schrödinger operators, a class of semibounded second order partial differential operators of mathematical physics, which includes the Schrödinger operator, the magnetic Schrödinger operator, and the classical wave operators (i.e., acoustic operator, Maxwell operator, and other second order partial differential operators associated with classical wave equations). We derive an improved Combes-Thomas estimate, obtaining an explicit lower bound on the rate of exponential decay of the operator kernel of the resolvent. We prove that for slowly decreasing smooth functions the operator kernels decay faster than any polynomial.

     

Graded Differential Equations and Dirac Type Operators

Singularities of solutions of graded differential equations as filtrations are studied. Symbols and the transfer operator associated with the h-adic filtration are computed. The condition that the transfer operator is a differential operator over the characteristic manifold of codimension 1 for this filtration is given. The Dirac operator is introduced by using the De Broglie principle: singularities of wave-like solutions move as material points. Use of the transfer operator associated with the h-adic filtration implies an invariant definition of the Pauli operator. A natural parallel translation arises as quantum analog of the Levi-Civita connection.     

Banach空间一类H-增生算子的混合拟变分包含的邻近算子方程

本文在Banach空间中引入一类H-增生算子的混合拟变分包含,并提出求该变分包含问题解的邻近点法.通过H-增生算子的预解算子技术,建立了混合拟变分包含问题与邻近算子方程的等价关系,由这个等价关系得到求解邻近算子方程的迭代算法,该算法收敛于上述混合拟变分包含问题的解.
