A thermogravimetic kinetic study of uncatalyzed diesel soot oxidation   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Isothermal and non-isothermal thermogravimetric experiments (TG) with real and synthetic (Printex U) soot were performed at different O2 concentrations (5–22%O2/N2), sample masses (0.5–10 mg), heating (5–20 °C min−1) and flow rates (80–100 mL min−1). The significance of the experimental and calculation uncertainties (i.e. experimental parameter dependencies, calculation method and mass transfer limitations), which are related to TG for the extraction of chemical kinetics, was explored. Finally, an intrinsic kinetic equation for soot oxidation is proposed.  相似文献

Nickel(II) and lead(II) ionic imprinted 8-hydroxyquinoline polymers were synthesized by a precipitation polymerization technique and were used as selective solid phase extraction supports for the determination of nickel and lead in seawater by flow injection solid phase extraction on-line inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry. An optimum loading flow rate of 2.25 mL min−1 for 2 min and an elution flow rate of 2.25 mL min−1 for 1 min gave an enrichment factor of 15 for nickel. However, a low dynamic capacity and/or rate for adsorption and desorption was found for lead ionic imprinted polymer and a flow rate of 3.00 mL min−1 for 4-min loading and a flow rate of 2.25 mL min−1 for 1-min elution gave a enrichment factor of 5. The limit of detection was 0.33 μg L−1 for nickel and 1.88 μg L−1 for lead, with a precision (n = 11) of 8% (2.37 μg Ni L−1) for nickel and 11% (8.38 μg Pb L−1) for lead. Accuracy was also assessed by analyzing SLEW-3 (estuarine water) and TM-24 (lake water) certified reference materials, and the values determined were in good agreement with the certified concentrations.  相似文献

A sorption ability of titanium silicates (TiSi) and iron oxides towards Cs, Sr, Pu and Am was tested using the laboratory batch method. The obtained results are expressed as distribution coefficients (Kd). TiSi synthesised using TiOSO4 revealed better sorption ability towards all studied radionuclides in comparison with TiSi produced on the basis of TiCl4. The Kd values ranged from 3.9 × 102 to 1.6 × 105 mL g−1 for Sr, from 6 to 4.1 × 104 mL g−1 for Cs, from 2.2 × 102 to 2.6 × 105 mL g−1 for Pu and from 50 to 1.6 × 104 mL g−1 for Am. The highest Pu Kd values (9 × 103–6.2 × 104 mL g−1) and better kinetics were found for iron oxides.  相似文献

A flow injection on-line determination of uranium(VI) after preconcentration in a minicolumn having amberlite XAD-4 resin impregnated with dibenzoylmethane (DBM) is described. Uranium(VI) is selectively adsorbed from aqueous solution of pH 5.5 in the minicolumn (5.5 cm long with 5.0 mm i.d.) at a flow rate of 13.6 mL min−1. The uranium(VI) complex was desorbed from the resin by 0.1 mol dm−3 HCl at a flow rate of 4.2 mL min−1 and mixed with arsenazo-III solution (0.05% solution in 0.1 mol dm−3 HCl, 4.2 mL min−1), and taken to the flow through cell of spectrophotometer where its absorbance was measured at 651 nm. Various parameters affecting the complex formation and its elution were optimized. Peak height (absorbance) was used for data analyses. The preconcentration factors of 36 and 143, detection limits of 0.9 and 0.232 μg L−1, sample throughputs of 40 and 10 were obtained for preconcentration time of 60 and 300 s, respectively. The tolerance limits of many interfering cations like Th(IV) and rare-earth elements were improved. The proposed method was applied on different water (spiked tap, well and sea water) and biological samples and good recovery was obtained. The method was also validated on mocked uranium ore sample and the results were in good agreement with the reported value.  相似文献

High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) coupled to an ICP-MS with an octapole reaction system (ORS) has been used to carry out quantitative speciation of selenium (Se) and arsenic (As) in the stream waters of a refining process. The argon dimers interfering with the 78Se and 80Se isotopes were suppressed by pressurizing the octapole chamber with 3.1 mL min−1 H2 and 0.5 mL min−1 He. Four arsenic species arsenite—As(III), arsenate (As(V)), monomethylarsonic acid (MMA), and dimethylarsinic acid (DMA)—and three inorganic Se species—selenite Se(IV), selenate Se(VI), and selenocyanate (SeCN)—were separated in a single run by ion chromatography (IC) using gradient elution with 100 mmol L−1 NH4NO3, pH 8.5, adjusted by addition of NH3, as eluent. Repeatabilities of peak position and of peak area evaluation were better than 1% and about 3%, respectively. Detection limits (as 3σ of the baseline noise) were 81, 56, and 75 ng L−1 for Se(IV), Se(VI), and SeCN, respectively, and 22, 19, 25, and 16 ng L−1 for As(III), As(V), MMA, and DMA, respectively. Calibration curve R 2 values ranged between 0.996 and 0.999 for the arsenic and selenium species. Column recovery for ion chromatography was calculated to be 97 ± 6% for combined arsenic species and 98 ± 3% for combined selenium species. Because certified reference materials for As and Se speciation studies are still not commercially available, in order to check accuracy and precision the method was applied to certified reference materials, BCR 714, BCR 1714, and BCR 715 and to two different refinery samples—inlet and outlet wastewater. The method was successfully used to study the quantitative speciation of selenium and arsenic in petroleum refinery wastewaters.  相似文献

A new adsorbent is proposed for the solid-phase extraction of phenol and 1-naphthol from polluted water. The adsorbent (TX-SiO2) is an organosilica composite made from a bifunctional immobilized layer comprising a major fraction (91%) of hydrophilic diol groups and minor fraction (9%) of the amphiphilic long-chain nonionic surfactant Triton X-100 (polyoxyethylated isooctylphenol) (TX). Under static conditions phenol was quantitatively extracted onto TX-SiO2 in the form of a 4-nitrophenylazophenolate ion associate with cetyltrimethylammonium bromide. The capacity of TX-SiO2 for phenol is 2.4 mg g−1 with distribution coefficients up to 3.4 × 104 mL g−1; corresponding data for 1-naphthol are 1.5 mg g−1 and 3 × 103 mL g−1. The distribution coefficient does not change significantly for solution volumes of 0.025–0.5 L and adsorbent mass less than 0.03 g; 1–90 μg analyte can be easily eluted by 1–3 mL acetonitrile with an overall recovery of 98.2% and 78.3% for phenol and 1-naphthol, respectively. Linear correlation between acetonitrile solution absorbance (A 540) and phenol concentration (C) in water was found according to the equation A 540 = (6 ± 1) × 10−2 + (0.9 ± 0.1)C (μmol L−1) with a detection range from 1 × 10−8 mol L−1 (0.9 μL g−1) to 2 × 10−7 mol L−1 (19 μL g−1), a limit of quantification of 1 μL g−1 (preconcentration factor 125), correlation coefficient of 0.936, and relative standard deviation of 2.5%. A solid-phase colorimetric method was developed for quantitative determination of 1-naphthol on adsorbent phase using scanner technology and RGB numerical analysis. The detection limit of 1-naphthol with this method is 6 μL g−1 while the quantification limit is 20 μL g−1. A test system was developed for naked eye monitoring of 1-naphthol impurities in water. The proposed test kit allows one to observe changes in the adsorbent color when 1-naphthol concentration in water is 0.08–3.2 mL g−1.  相似文献

A simple, reproducible, and efficient liquid chromatographic method was developed with UV detection. Water (0.05% TFA):acetonitrile (0.05% TFA) was used as the mobile phase in a gradient system for the determination of procyanidin B2 (PB2) and epicatechin (EC) in the bark of Guazuma ulmifolia Lam. The analysis was performed using a Phenomenex Gemini RP C18 column (5 μm) as stationary phase, at 30 °C, with a flow rate of 0.8 mL min−1, at a wavelength of 210 nm for detection and determination. The main validation parameters of the method were also determined. Calibration curves were found to be linear, with ranges of 20.00–150.00 (PB2) and 10.00–110.00 μg mL−1 (EC). The correlation coefficients of linear regression analysis were between 0.9981 and 0.9988, and the detection limits were between 2.89 and 2.54 μg mL−1. The contents of PB2 and EC were successfully determined, with satisfactory reproducibility and recovery. Recoveries of the PB2 and EC were 103.00 and 104.01%, respectively. The method was successfully applied to the determination of procyanidins in the bark of G. ulmifolia.  相似文献

A novel method for rapid HPLC-ICP-MS analysis of oxaliplatin in human urine was developed implementing a stationary HPLC phase with a particle size of 1.8 μm. The method allowed a cycle time of <1 min at a HPLC flow rate of 0.9 mL min−1. Procedural limits of detection of 0.05 μg L−1 oxaliplatin (150 fg on column) were obtained. Analysis of oxaliplatin in patient urine showed that accurate quantification of the intact drug demanded for storage at −80 °C and rapid measurement after thawing.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was the development and validation of an LC–MS–MS method for simultaneous analysis of ibuprofen (IBP), 2-hydroxyibuprofen (2-OH-IBP) enantiomers, and carboxyibuprofen (COOH-IBP) stereoisomers in fungi culture medium, to investigate the ability of some endophytic fungi to biotransform the chiral drug IBP into its metabolites. Resolution of IBP and the stereoisomers of its main metabolites was achieved by use of a Chiralpak AS-H column (150 × 4.6 mm, 5 μm particle size), column temperature 8 °C, and the mobile phase hexane–isopropanol–trifluoroacetic acid (95: 5: 0.1, v/v) at a flow rate of 1.2 mL min−1. Post-column infusion with 10 mmol L−1 ammonium acetate in methanol at a flow rate of 0.3 mL min−1 was performed to enhance MS detection (positive electrospray ionization). Liquid–liquid extraction was used for sample preparation with hexane–ethyl acetate (1:1, v/v) as extraction solvent. Linearity was obtained in the range 0.1–20 μg mL−1 for IBP, 0.05–7.5 μg mL−1 for each 2-OH-IBP enantiomer, and 0.025–5.0 μg mL−1 for each COOH-IBP stereoisomer (r ≥ 0.99). The coefficients of variation and relative errors obtained in precision and accuracy studies (within-day and between-day) were below 15%. The stability studies showed that the samples were stable (p > 0.05) during freeze and thaw cycles, short-term exposure to room temperature, storage at −20 °C, and biotransformation conditions. Among the six fungi studied, only the strains Nigrospora sphaerica (SS67) and Chaetomium globosum (VR10) biotransformed IBP enantioselectively, with greater formation of the metabolite (+)-(S)-2-OH-IBP. Formation of the COOH-IBP stereoisomers, which involves hydroxylation at C3 and further oxidation to form the carboxyl group, was not observed.  相似文献

Pyrroloquinoline quinone (PQQ), an essential nutrient, antioxidant, redox modulator and nerve growth factor found in a class of enzymes called quinoproteins, was labeled with 99mTc by using stannous fluoride (SnF2) method. Radiolabeling qualification, quality control and characterization of 99mTc-PQQ and its biodistribution studies in mice were performed and discussed. Effects of pH values, temperature, time and reducing agents concentration on the radiolabeling yield were investigated. The quality control procedure of 99mTc-PQQ was determined by thin layer chromatography (TLC), radio high-performance liquid chromatography (RHPLC) and paper electrophoresis methods. The average radiolabeling yield was 94 ± 1% under optimum conditions of 0.99 mg of PQQ, 30 μg of SnF2, 0.5 mg of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt (EDTA-2Na) and 18.5 MBq of Na99mTcO4 at pH 6 and 25 °C with a response volume of 1 ± 0.1 mL. 99mTc-PQQ was stable and anionic. Lipid–water partition coefficient of 99mTc-PQQ was −1.49 ± 0.16. The pharmacokinetics parameters of 99mTc-PQQ were t 1/2α = 18.16 min, t 1/2β = 100.45 min, K 12 = 0.013 min−1, K 21 = 0.017 min−1, K e = 0.016 min−1, AUC (area under the curve) = 1040.78 ID% g−1 min and CL (plasma clearance) = 0.096 mL min−1. The dual-exponential equation was Y = 10.88e−0.038t  + 5.21e−0.0069t . The biodistribution of 99mTc-PQQ was studied in ICR (Institute for Cancer Research 7701 Burhelme Are., Fox Chase, Philadelphia, PA 1911 USA) mice. In vitro autoradiographic studies clearly showed that the 99mTc-PQQ radioactivity accumulated predominantly in the hippocampus and cortex, which had a high density of N-methyl-d-aspartate Receptor (NMDAR). The enrichment can be blocked by NMDAR redox modulatory site antagonists-ebselen (EB) and 99mTc-PQQ is therefore a promising candidate for the molecular imaging of NMDAR. A softwood bleached kraft pulp (SBKP) and cotton lint cellulose were fully or partially mercerized, and these along with celluloses and commercially available regenerated cellulose fiber and beads were oxidized by 4-acetamido-TEMPO/NaClO/NaClO2 at 60 °C and pH 4.8. Weight recovery ratios and carboxylate contents of the oxidized celluloses were 65–80% and 1.8–2.2 mmol g−1, respectively. Transparent and viscous dispersions were obtained by mechanical disintegration of the TEMPO-oxidized celluloses in water. These aqueous dispersions showed birefringence between cross-polarizers, indicating that mostly individualized cellulose nanoelements dispersed in water were obtained by these procedures. Transmission electron microscopy observation showed that the cellulose nanoelements prepared from mercerized SBKP, repeatedly mercerized SBKP, mercerized cotton lint cellulose, regenerated cellulose beads and 18% NaOH-treated SBKP, i.e. partially mercerized SBKP, had similar morphologies and sizes, 4–12 nm in width and 100–200 nm in length. Currently, there is an increasing demand for the production of biodiesel and, consequently, there will be an increasing need to treat wastewaters resulting from the production process of this biofuel. The main objective of this work was, therefore, to investigate the effect of applied volumetric organic load (AVOL) on the efficiency, stability, and methane production of an anaerobic sequencing batch biofilm reactor applied to the treatment of effluent from biodiesel production. As inert support, polyurethane foam cubes were used in the reactor and mixing was accomplished by recirculating the liquid phase. Increase in AVOL resulted in a drop in organic matter removal efficiency and increase in total volatile acids in the effluent. AVOLs of 1.5, 3.0, 4.5 and 6.0 g COD L−1 day−1 resulted in removal efficiencies of 92%, 81%, 67%, and 50%, for effluent filtered samples, and 91%, 80%, 63%, and 47%, for non-filtered samples, respectively, whereas total volatile acids concentrations in the effluent amounted to 42, 145, 386 and 729 mg HAc L−1, respectively. Moreover, on increasing AVOL from 1.5 to 4.5 g COD L−1 day−1 methane production increased from 29.5 to 55.5 N mL CH4 g COD−1. However, this production dropped to 36.0 N mL CH4 g COD−1 when AVOL was increased to 6.0 g COD L−1 day−1, likely due to the higher concentration of volatile acids in the reactor. Despite the higher concentration of volatile acids at the highest AVOL, alkalinity supplementation to the influent, in the form of sodium bicarbonate, at a ratio of 0.5–1.3 g NaHCO3 g CODfed−1, was sufficient to maintain the pH near neutral and guarantee process stability during reactor operation.  相似文献

A screen-printed carbon working electrode within a commercially available screen-printed three-electrode assembly was modified by using a composite of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) dispersed in polyethylenimine (PEI) followed by covering with the calf thymus dsDNA layer. Several electrochemical methods were used to characterize the biosensor and to evaluate damage to the surface-attached DNA: square wave voltammetry of the [Ru(bpy)3]2+ redox indicator and mediator of the guanine moiety oxidation, cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in the presence of the [Fe(CN)6]3−/4− indicator in solution. Due to high electroconductivity and large surface area of MWCNT and positive charge of PEI, the MWCNT–PEI composite is an advantageous platform for the DNA immobilization by the polyelectrolyte complexation and its voltammetric and impedimetric detection. In this respect, the MWCNT–PEI interface exhibited better properties than the MWCNT–chitosan one reported from our laboratory previously. A deep DNA layer damage at incubation of the biosensor in quinazoline solution was found, which depends on the quinazoline concentration and incubation time. A mixed anionic–cationic surfactant cloud point extraction (CPE) has been developed using sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and tetrabutylammonium bromide (TBABr) for the extraction and preconcentration of organophosphorus pesticides (OPPs) at ambient temperature before analysis by high-performance liquid chromatography. The studied OPPs were azinphos-methyl, parathion-methyl, fenitrothion, diazinon, chlorpyrifos, and prothiophos. The optimum conditions of the mixed anionic–cationic CPE were 50 mmol L−1 SDS, 100 mmol L−1 TBABr, and 10% (w/v) NaCl. The extracted OPPs were successfully separated within 11 min using the conditions of a Waters Symmetry C8 column, a flow rate of 0.8 mL min−1, a gradient elution of methanol and water, and detection at 210 nm. Linearity was found over the range 0.05–5 μg mL−1, with the correlation coefficients higher than 0.996. The enrichment factor of the target analytes was in the range 6–11, which corresponds to their limits of detection from 1 to 30 ng mL−1. High precisions (intra-day and inter-day) were obtained with relative standard deviation <1.5% (t R) and 10% (peak area). Accuracies (% recovery) of the different spiked OPP concentrations were 82.7–109.1% (water samples) and 80.3–113.3% (fruit juice samples). No contamination by the OPPs was observed in any studied samples.  相似文献

A new method for simultaneous determination of organic acids in red wine and must by liquid chromatography was studied. The determination of organic acids in wines can be achieved in less than 13 min, preceded only by a simple sample dilution and filtration step. With this method, the chromatographic separation of eight organic acids and interfering peaks present in red wine, required only one reversed phase column (Waters Atlantis dC18 column, 4.6 × 150 mm ID, 5 μm). As mobile phase, isocratic acetonitrile–0.01 mol L−1 KH2PO4 at pH 2.7 5:95 (v/v) at a flow rate of 0.8 mL min−1 was used. Detection wavelength was set at 210 nm except for ascorbic acid which was detected at 243 nm. Application to red wine and must confirmed good repeatability and showed a wide variation range for concentrations of organic acids.  相似文献

An accurate, simple, reproducible, and sensitive liquid chromatographic method was developed and validated for the captopril determination in controlled release tablets. The analyses were performed at room temperature on a reversed-phase Phenomenex Luna C18 column (250 mm × 4.6 mm). The mobile phase was composed of water:methanol (45:55; v/v) pH 2.5, and it was eluted isocratically at a 1.0 mL min−1 flow rate. The method was validated in terms of specificity, linearity, quantification limit, detection limit, accuracy, precision and robustness. The response was linear in the range 0.3–1.5 mg mL−1 (r 2  = 0.9983). The relative standard deviation values for inter-and intra-day precision were 0.77% and 0.50%, respectively. Recoveries ranged between 97.7 and 99.1%. The method was successfully applied for the determination of captopril in the developed formulations.  相似文献

A reversed-phase ion-pairing liquid chromatographic method was developed and validated for the assay of Fe(II) in ferrous bisglycinate (Fe-bis-gly) capsules using 4-(2-pyridylazo) resorcinol reagent. The analysis was carried out using a Gemini RP-18 (150 mm × 4.6 mm I.D., particle size 5 μm) analytical column; the mobile phase consisted of a mixture of acetonitrile–water (28:72 v/v) containing 1 mM tetrabutylammonium hydrogensulfate and 1% phosphate buffer (pH 8.0). The flow rate was 1.0 mL min−1 and the detection was achieved with a photodiode array (PDA) detector at 706 nm. The specificity of the method was proved using stress conditions and evaluated using a PDA detector. The data validation showed that the method is specific, fast, accurate, and reproducible for the determination of Fe-bis-gly in dosage form. The response was linear over a range of 1.0–2.6 μg mL−1 (r = 0.9999). The accuracy of the method ranged from 98.02 to 102.75%. The RSD values for intra- and inter-day precision studies were below 1.3 and 1.1%, respectively. There was no interference of the excipients on the determination of the active pharmaceutical ingredient.  相似文献

Silver nanoparticles coat polyquercetin (Qu) and multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) complex films were prepared using an electrochemical coupling strategy on platinum electrode (Ag/Qu/MWCNT/Ch/Pt). The new composite material was characterized by means of field emission scanning electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy spectra, X-ray diffraction, and electrochemical techniques, which confirmed that polyquercetin plays an important role to obtain a great deal of uniformly dispersed silver nanoparticles and MWCNT complex film with a diameter of 10 ± 6 nm. The resulting Ag/Qu/MWCNT/Ch/Pt electrode shows a significant electrocatalysis for the redox of cysteine (CysH). The stripping chronopotentiometric analysis of CysH has been successfully used with a satisfying effect. A linear range of 1 × 10−10 to 9 × 10−8 M was obtained with a detection limit of 3 × 10−11 M (3σ) and sensitivity of 35 μA/nM. The films were also robust, surviving up to 100 consecutive cyclic voltammograms and sonication.  相似文献

The disaccharide isomaltose is produced via an enzymatic reaction and is adsorbed to BEA zeolite. This reaction integrated adsorption can be achieved as fluidized bed as well as fixed bed. We investigated isotherms, adsorption enthalpies and sorption kinetics of BEA zeolite and extrudates with a novel aluminum phosphate sintermatrix. These extrudates contain 50% (w/w) of BEA 150 zeolites (Si/Al = 75) as primary crystals. BET-surface for extrudates is 245 m2⋅g−1 and 487 m2⋅g−1 for zeolite. Extrudates show a monomodal macropore structure with a maximum at 90 nm. All isotherms show a type I shape. For lower equilibrium concentrations, which occur during the enzymatic reaction, Henry’s law is applied and compared to a Langmuir model. Adsorption equilibrium constant K i,L calculated from Langmuir for extrudates at 4 °C is 64.7 mL⋅g−1 and more than twice as high as obtained from Henry’s law with K i is 26.8 mL⋅g−1. Adsorption on extrudates at 4 °C is much stronger than on zeolite crystals where the Henry coefficient K i is 17.1 mL⋅g−1. Adsorption enthalpy Δh Ad calculated from van’t Hoff plot with the Henry equation is −44.3 kJ⋅mol−1 for extrudates and −29.6 kJ⋅mol−1 for zeolite crystals. Finally, the kinetics for ad- and desorption were calculated from the initial slope. The diffusion rate for ad- and desorption on extrudates were in the same range while adsorption on zeolites is three orders of magnitudes faster than desorption.  相似文献

A new inorganically template metaphosphate of Co(II) complex has been synthesized and characterized by different measurements such as DSC, FT-IR, C–H–N–O–S, ESR, TG-DTA and X-RD. Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) elucidated negative specific heat of the system and has used to evaluate some thermo dynamical constants like activation energy (E a), frequency factor (A), enthalpy and entropy of that system. The specific heat capacity of the system is measured both in atmospheric O2 and N2 atmosphere at different heating rates of 278, 283, 293 and 298 K min−1 in room atmosphere and 288 K min−1 in N2 atmosphere.  相似文献
