By using the Ringel-Hall algebra approach, we investigate the structure of the Lie algebra L(A) generated by indecomposable constructible sets in the varieties of modules for any finite- dimensional C-algebra A. We obtain a geometric realization of the universal enveloping algebra R(A) of L(A), this generalizes the main result of Riedtmann. We also obtain Green's formula in a geometric form for any finite-dimensional C-algebra A and use it to give the comultiplication formula in R(A).  相似文献

If T is a (commutative unital) ring extension of a ring R, then Λ(T /R) is defined to be the supremum of the lengths of chains of intermediate fields between R P /P R P and T Q /QT Q , where Q varies over Spec(T) and P:= QR. The invariant σ(R):= sup Λ(T/R), where T varies over all the overrings of R. It is proved that if Λ(S/R)< ∞ for all rings S between R and T, then (R, T) is an INC-pair; and that if (R, T) is an INC-pair such that T is a finite-type R-algebra, then Λ(T/R)< ∞. Consequently, if R is a domain with σ(R) < ∞, then the integral closure of R is a Prüfer domain; and if R is a Noetherian G-domain, then σ(R) < ∞, with examples showing that σ(R) can be any given non-negative integer. Other examples include that of a onedimensional Noetherian locally pseudo-valuation domain R with σ(R)=∞.  相似文献

A triangular matrix ring Λ is defined by a triplet (R,S,M) where R and S are rings and R M S is an S-R-bimodule. In the main theorem of this paper we show that if T S is a tilting S-module, then under certain homological conditions on the S-module M S , one can extend T S to a tilting complex over Λ inducing a derived equivalence between Λ and another triangular matrix ring specified by (S′, R, M′), where the ring S′ and the R-S′-bimodule M′ depend only on M and T S , and S′ is derived equivalent to S. Note that no conditions on the ring R are needed. These conditions are satisfied when S is an Artin algebra of finite global dimension and M S is finitely generated. In this case, (S′,R,M′) = (S, R, DM) where D is the duality on the category of finitely generated S-modules. They are also satisfied when S is arbitrary, M S has a finite projective resolution and Ext S n (M S , S) = 0 for all n > 0. In this case, (S′,R,M′) = (S, R, Hom S (M, S)).  相似文献

PP-Rings of Generalized Power Series   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6
Abstract As a generalization of power series rings, Ribenboim introduced the notion of the rings of generalized power series. Let R be a commutative ring, and (S, ≤) a strictly totally ordered monoid. We prove that (1) the ring [[R S,≤]] of generalized power series is a PP-ring if and only if R is a PP-ring and every S-indexed subset C of B(R) (the set of all idempotents of R) has a least upper bound in B(R) and (2) if (S, ≤) also satisfies the condition that 0 ≤s for any sS, then the ring [[R S,≤ ]] is weakly PP if and only if R is weakly PP. We prove that mirror nonsingular configurations of m points and n lines in ℝP 3 exist only for m≤3, n≡0 or 1 (mod 4) and for m=0 or 1 (mod 4), n≡0 (mod 2). In addition, we give an elementary proof of V. M. Kharlamov’s well-known result saying that if a nonsingular surface of degree four in ℝP 3 is noncontractible and has M≥5 components, then it is nonmirror. For the cases M=5, 6, 7 and 8, Kharlamov suggested an elementary proof using an analogy between such surfaces and configurations of M−1 points and a line. Our proof covers the remaining cases M=9, 10. Bibliography: 5 titles. Translated fromZapiski Nauchnykh Seminarov POMI, Vol. 231, 1995, pp. 299–308. Translated by N. Yu. Netsvetaev.  相似文献

Let R be an associative ring with 1; A, B ⊴ R be its ideals; C(n, R, A) be the full congruence subgroup of level A in GL(n, R); and E(n, R, A) be the relative elementary subgroup of level A. We present a very easy proof of the following commutator formula: [E(n, R, A),C(n, R, B)] = [E(n, R, A), E(n, R, B)] for all commutative rings based exclusively on the absolute standard commutator formula and its non-commutative counterparts. This generalizes and strengethens Mason and Stothers’ results, our results, and those of Hazrat and Zhang. For comaximal ideals A + B = R, we show that this commutator is E(n, R, AB + BA).  相似文献

The paper suggests a constructive characterization of unbounded completely positive maps introduced earlier by Chebotarev for the theory of quantum dynamical semigroups. We prove that such cones are generated by a positive self-adjoint “reference” operator ΛεB(H) as follows: for any completely positive unbounded map Ф(·)εCPn*(F) these exists a completely positive normal bounded mapR(·)εCPn(H) such that ϕ(·)=ΛR(·)Λ. The class contains mappings that are unclosable sesquilinear forms. Translated fromMatematicheskie Zametki, Vol. 65, No. 2, pp. 194–205, February, 1999.  相似文献

Let Λ be an arbitrary set of positive integers andS n (Λ) the set of all permutations of degreen for which the lengths of all cycles belong to the set Λ. In the paper the asymptotics of the ratio |S n (Λ)|/n! asn→∞ is studied in the following cases: 1) Λ is the union of finitely many arithmetic progressions, 2) Λ consists of all positive integers that are not divisible by any number from a given finite set of pairwise coprime positive integers. Here |S n (Λ)| stands for the number of elements in the finite setS n (Λ). Translated fromMatematicheskie Zametki, Vol. 62, No. 6, pp. 881–891, December, 1997. Translated by A. I. Shtern  相似文献

We give a bicategorical version of the main result of Masuoka (Tsukuba J Math 13:353–362, 1989) which proposes a non-commutative version of the fact that for a faithfully flat extension of commutative rings R í SR \subseteq S, the relative Picard group Pic(S/R) is isomorphic to the Amitsur 1–cohomology group H 1(S/R,U) with coefficients in the units functor U.  相似文献

Riemann conjectured that all the zeros of the Riemann ≡-function are real, which is now known as the Riemann Hypothesis (RH). In this article we introduce the study of the zeros of the truncated sums ≡ N (z) in Riemann’s uniformly convergent infinite series expansion of ≡(z) involving incomplete gamma functions. We conjecture that when the zeros of ≡ N (z) in the first quadrant of the complex plane are listed by increasing real part, their imaginary parts are monotone nondecreasing. We show how this conjecture implies the RH, and discuss some computational evidence for this and other related conjectures.  相似文献

Like Euclid,Riemann and Lobachevski geometries are on an almost equal footing, based on the principle of relativity of maximum symmetry proposed by Professor Lu Qikeng and the postulate on invariant universal constants c and R,the de Sitter/anti-de Sitter(dS/AdS)special relativity on dS/AdS-space with radius R can be set up on an almost equal footing with Einstein's special relativity on the Minkowski-space in the case of R→∞. Thus the dS-space is coin-like:a law of inertia in Beltrami atlas with Beltrami time simultaneity for the principle of relativity on one side, and the proper-time simultaneity and a Robertson-Walker-like dS-space with entropy and an accelerated expanding S~3 fitting the cosmological principle on another side. If our universe is asymptotic to the Robertson-Walker-like dS-space of R(?)(3/Λ)~(1/2),it should be slightly closed in O(A)with entropy bound S(?)3πc~3k_B/ΛGh.Contrarily,via its asymptotic behavior, it can fix on Beltrami inertial frames without‘an argument in a circle’and acts as the origin of inertia. There is a triality of conformal extensions of three kinds of special relativity and their null physics on the projective boundary of a 5-d AdS-space,a null cone modulo projective equivalence[N](?)_p(AdS~5). Thus there should be a dS-space on the boundary of S~5×AdS~5 as a vacuum of supergravity. In the light of Einstein's‘Galilean regions’,gravity should be based on the localized principle of relativity of full maximum symmetry with a gauge-like dynamics. Thus, this may lead to the theory of gravity of corresponding local symmetry.A simple model of dS-gravity characterized by a dimensionless constant g(?)(AGh/3c~3)~(1/2)~10~(-61)shows the features on umbilical manifolds of local dS-invariance. Some gravitational effects out of general relativity may play a role as dark matter. The dark universe and its asymptotic behavior may already indicate that the dS special relativity and dS-gravity be the foundation of large scale physics.  相似文献

To obtain the representation (L, R) of Lie algebras over the ring Λ, we construct the lattice of subrepresentations ℒ(L, R). Relations between the algebras L and R and the lattice ℒ(L, R) are studied. It turns out that in some cases the isomorphism of the lattice ℒ(L, R) can be continued so as to obtain a wider sublattice ℒ(LλR) consisting of subalgebras of a semidirect product LλR. __________ Translated from Sovremennaya Matematika i Ee Prilozheniya (Contemporary Mathematics and Its Applications), Vol. 46, Algebra, 2007.  相似文献

In this paper, the concept of a finite mass-points system∑N(H(A))(N>n) being in a sphere in an n-dimensional hyperbolic space Hn and a finite mass-points system∑N(S(A))(N>n) being in a hyperplane in an n-dimensional spherical space Sn is introduced, then, the rank of the Cayley-Menger matrix AN(H)(or a AN(S)) of the finite mass-points system∑∑N(S(A))(or∑N(S(A))) in an n-dimensional hyperbolic space Hn (or spherical space Sn) is no more than n 2 when∑N(H(A))(N>n) (or∑N(S(A))(N>n)) are in a sphere (or hyperplane). On the one hand, the Yang-Zhang's inequalities, the Neuberg-Pedoe's inequalities and the inequality of the metric addition in an n-dimensional hyperbolic space Hn and in an n-dimensional spherical space Sn are established by the method of characteristic roots. These are basic inequalities in hyperbolic geometry and spherical geometry. On the other hand, some relative problems and conjectures are brought.  相似文献

The regularity of munn rings and semigroup rings   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In this paper, the author studies the regularity of Munn rings and completely 0-simple semigroup rings. When either (i)R is a ring with identity andI and are infinite, or (ii)R is a strong IBN and fully Dedekind-finite ring with identity and eitherI or is finite, in Section 2, the regularity of the Munn ringM(R; I, ; P) is characterized; in Section 3, for a completely 0-simple semigroupS =M°(G; I, ; P), the regularity ofRS is characterized. Meantime, the author shows that for a locally finite monoidS and a ringR with identity,RS is a strong IBN ring if and only ifR is so;RS is fully Dedekind-finite if and only ifR is so.  相似文献

Assume that ?(R, m, k) → (S, n, l) is a local homomorphism between commutative noetherian local rings R and S. We say that an S-module M is almost finite over R if it is finitely generated over S (the R-structure on M is induced by ?). We investigate the homological behaviour of such modules, as well as various properties of the rings R and S in the presence of an almost finite module of finite flat dimension over R.  相似文献

Let be a full rank time-frequency lattice in ℝ d ×ℝ d . In this note we first prove that any dual Gabor frame pair for a Λ-shift invariant subspace M can be dilated to a dual Gabor frame pair for the whole space L 2(ℝ d ) when the volume v(Λ) of the lattice Λ satisfies the condition v(Λ)≤1, and to a dual Gabor Riesz basis pair for a Λ-shift invariant subspace containing M when v(Λ)>1. This generalizes the dilation result in Gabardo and Han (J. Fourier Anal. Appl. 7:419–433, [2001]) to both higher dimensions and dual subspace Gabor frame pairs. Secondly, for any fixed positive integer N, we investigate the problem whether any Bessel–Gabor family G(g,Λ) can be completed to a tight Gabor (multi-)frame G(g,Λ)∪(∪ j=1 N G(g j ,Λ)) for L 2(ℝ d ). We show that this is true whenever v(Λ)≤N. In particular, when v(Λ)≤1, any Bessel–Gabor system is a subset of a tight Gabor frame G(g,Λ)∪G(h,Λ) for L 2(ℝ d ). Related results for affine systems are also discussed. Communicated by Chris Heil.  相似文献

Let {S n } be a random walk on ℤ d and let R n be the number of different points among 0, S 1,…, S n −1. We prove here that if d≥ 2, then ψ(x) := lim n →∞(−:1/n) logP{R n nx} exists for x≥ 0 and establish some convexity and monotonicity properties of ψ(x). The one-dimensional case will be treated in a separate paper. We also prove a similar result for the Wiener sausage (with drift). Let B(t) be a d-dimensional Brownian motion with constant drift, and for a bounded set A⊂ℝ d let Λ t = Λ t (A) be the d-dimensional Lebesgue measure of the `sausage' ∪0≤ s t (B(s) + A). Then φ(x) := lim t→∞: (−1/t) log P{Λ t tx exists for x≥ 0 and has similar properties as ψ. Received: 20 April 2000 / Revised version: 1 September 2000 / Published online: 26 April 2001  相似文献

For a certain class of polynomial matrices A(x), we consider transformations SA(x)R(x) with invertible matrices S and R(x), i.e., the so-called semiscalarly equivalent transformations. We indicate necessary and sufficient conditions for this type of equivalence of matrices. We introduce the notion of quasidiagonal equivalence of numerical matrices. We establish the relationship between the semiscalar and quasidiagonal equivalences and the problem of matrix pairs.  相似文献

It is proved that (elementary) Chevalley groups G π(Φ,K) and G π′(Φ′,K′) (or E π(Φ,K) and E π′(Φ′,K′)) over infinite fields K and K′ of characteristic different from 2, with weight lattices Λ and Λ′, respectively, are elementarily equivalent if and only if the root systems Φ and Φ′ are isomorphic, the fields K and K′ are elementarily equivalent, and the lattices Λ and Λ′ coincide. __________ Translated from Fundamentalnaya i Prikladnaya Matematika, Vol. 12, No. 8, pp. 29–77, 2006.  相似文献

The diametral dimension of a nuclear Fréchet spaceE, which satisfies (DN) and (Ω), is related to power series spaces Λ1(ε) and Λ(ε) for some exponent sequence ε. It is proved thatE contains a complemented copy of Λ(ε) provided the diametral dimensions ofE and Λ(ε) are equal and ε is stable. Assuming Λ1(ε) is nuclear, any subspace of Λ1(ε) which satisfies (DN), can be imbedded intoE. Applications of these results to spaces of analytic functions are given.
