涉及移动目标的亚纯映射唯一性定理

本文首先证明了一个新的从C~n到P~N(C)的亚纯映射第二基本定理,其中涉及到带有不同权重的截断型计算函数;其次利用这个新的第二基本定理,考虑了退化的亚纯映射在分担处于一般位置的移动超平面下的唯一性问题,并在较弱的条件下获得了一个唯一性结果,改进了已有的一些经典结果.     

Uniqueness problem for meromorphic mappings in several complex variables with few hyperplanes

The purpose of this article is to deal with uniqueness problem with truncated multiplicities for meromorphic mappings in several complex variables. We obtain a degeneracy theorem of meromorphic mappings without taking account of multiplicities of order k in counting functions and a uniqueness theorem for meromorphic mappings sharing 2n + 2(n ≥ 2) hyperplanes in general position, which improve and extend some earlier work.     

Common fixed point theorems for weakly compatible quasi contraction mappings

Summary Recently, Pathak [13] has made an extension of the notion of compatibility to weak compatibility, and extended the coincidence theorem for compatible mappings in Kaneko and Sessa [11] to weakly compatible mappings [13]. In the present paper, we define a new class of weakly compatible mappings (Definition 4) and prove some common fixed point theorems for these mappings, which satisfy Condition (2) below. Although our main theorem is formulated for weakly compatible mappings, its corresponding formulation for commutative mappings is also a new result, thus presenting a generalization of some theorems of Fisher, Das and Naik, Khan and Kubiaczyk, Reich, Ćirić and Rhoades and Watson.     

An extension of the Jacobi algorithm for multi-valued mixed complementarity problems

We consider a generalized mixed complementarity problem (MCP) with box constraints and multi-valued cost mapping. We introduce a concept of an upper Z-mapping, which generalizes the well-known concept of the single-valued Z-mapping and involves the diagonal multi-valued mappings, and suggest an extension of the Jacobi algorithm for the above problem containing a composition of such mappings. Being based on its convergence theorem, we establish several existence and uniqueness results. Some examples of the applications are also given.     

Inverse spectral problems for differential pencils on the half-line with turning points

The inverse spectral problem of recovering pencils of second-order differential operators on the half-line with turning points is studied. We establish properties of the spectral characteristics, give a formulation of the inverse problem, prove a uniqueness theorem and provide a constructive procedure for the solution of the inverse problem.     

A sufficient and necessary condition for Halpern-type strong convergence to fixed points of nonexpansive mappings

In this paper, we prove a Halpern-type strong convergence theorem for nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space whose norm is uniformly Gâteaux differentiable. Also, we discuss the sufficient and necessary condition about this theorem. This is a partial answer of the problem raised by Reich in 1983.

     

Uniform asymptotic regularity for Mann iterates

In Numer. Funct. Anal. Optim. 22 (2001) 641-656, we obtained an effective quantitative analysis of a theorem due to Borwein, Reich, and Shafrir on the asymptotic behavior of general Krasnoselski-Mann iterations for nonexpansive self-mappings of convex sets C in arbitrary normed spaces. We used this result to obtain a new strong uniform version of Ishikawa's theorem for bounded C. In this paper we give a qualitative improvement of our result in the unbounded case and prove the uniformity result for the bounded case under the weaker assumption that C contains a point x whose Krasnoselski-Mann iteration (x_k) is bounded. We also consider more general iterations for which asymptotic regularity is known only for uniformly convex spaces (Groetsch). We give uniform effective bounds for (an extension of) Groetsch's theorem which generalize previous results by Kirk, Martinez-Yanez, and the author.

本文使用新的分析技巧研究了一致光滑Banach空间中一类增生映像的零点的迭代构造问题, 所得结果改进了Reich早期的一个著名定理.作为应用,导出了连续伪压缩映像的不动点的迭代算法的强收敛定理.     

Viscosity approximation methods for generalized equilibrium problems and fixed point problems

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the problem of finding a common element of the set of solutions of a generalized equilibrium problem (for short, GEP) and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping in the setting of Hilbert spaces. By using well-known Fan-KKM lemma, we derive the existence and uniqueness of a solution of the auxiliary problem for GEP. On account of this result and Nadler’s theorem, we propose an iterative scheme by the viscosity approximation method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of GEP and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping. Furthermore, it is proven that the sequences generated by this iterative scheme converge strongly to a common element of the set of solutions of GEP and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping.     

A generalization of set-valued Prešić–Reich type contractions in ultrametric spaces with applications

In this paper, we study the existence and uniqueness of coincidence and common fixed point of a set-valued and a single-valued mapping satisfying generalized set-valued Pre?i?–Reich type contractive condition in ultrametric spaces without the property of completeness. As an application, the well-posedness of a common fixed point problem is proved. An example is given to illustrate our results. Our results generalize and extend the results of Pre?i?–Reich in the context of ultrametric spaces.     

Hilbert空间中广义平衡问题和无限族非扩张映象的不动点问题的强收敛定理

在Hilbert空间中,用Fan-KKM定理导出了广义平衡问题的辅助问题的解的存在性和唯一性,讨论了寻找广义平衡问题和一族非扩张映象的公共不动点集的迭代序列,证明此序列强收敛于这两个集合的公共元.本文结论改进了一些近期结果.     

On inverse spectral problem for non-selfadjoint Sturm-Liouville operator on a finite interval

An inverse spectral problem is studied for a non-selfadjoint Sturm-Liouville operator on a finite interval with an arbitrary behavior of the spectrum. The spectral data introduced generalize the classical discrete spectral data corresponding to the specification of the spectral function in the selfadjoint case. The connection with other types of spectral characteristics is investigated and a uniqueness theorem is proved. A constructive procedure for solving the inverse problem is given.     

一类四阶常微分方程两点边值问题解的存在唯一性

利用压缩映射原理讨论了边值问题y(4)(t)=f(t,y,y′,y,″y′″),y(a)=y(b)=0,y″(a)=y″(b)=0解的存在唯一性问题,得出了当f满足Lipschitz条件时边值问题解的存在唯一性定理,并证明了当f为半线性f(t,y)时结论是最优的.同时给出了一个改进的Picard迭代误差公式,此公式保证了端点处误差为零.     

Weak Convergence Theorems for Nonexpansive Mappings and Monotone Mappings

In this paper, we introduce an iteration process of finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping and the set of solutions of a variational inequality problem for an inverse strongly-monotone mapping, and then obtain a weak convergence theorem. Using this result, we obtain a weak convergence theorem for a pair of a nonexpansive mapping and a strictly pseudocontractive mapping. Further, we consider the problem of finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping and the set of zeros of an inverse strongly-monotone mapping.     

Inverse problem for a quasilinear hyperbolic equation with a nonlocal boundary condition containing a delay argument

We consider a problem for a quasilinear hyperbolic equation with a nonlocal condition that contains a retarded argument. By reducing this problem to a nonlinear integrofunctional equation, we prove the existence and uniqueness theorem for its solution. We pose an inverse problem of finding a solution-dependent coefficient of the equation on the basis of additional information on the solution; the information is given at a fixed point in space and is a function of time. We prove the uniqueness theorem for the solution of the inverse problem. The proof is based on the derivation and analysis of an integro-functional equation for the difference of two solutions of the inverse problem.     

UNIQUENESS OF MINIMIZATION PROBLEMS

In this paper we give a uniqueness theorem for a minimization problem.Meanwhile weprovide a uniform uniqueness theorem for L_p(1≤p≤∞)simultaneous approximationsincluding mean simultaneous approximation and Chebyshev simultaneous approximation.     

b-度量空间中压缩型映象的公共不动点定理

在完备的b-空间中,建立一个压缩型映象,研究公共不动点的存在性和唯一性,得到了一个新的公共不动点定理.举例证明了在b-空间中的新结果,改进了当前文献中的结果.     

Recovery of the unknown coefficients in a two-dimensional hyperbolic equation

In this paper, an inverse boundary value problem for a two-dimensional hyperbolic equation with overdetermination conditions is studied. To investigate the solvability of the original problem, we first consider an auxiliary inverse boundary value problem and prove its equivalence to the original problem in a certain sense. We then use the Fourier method to reduce such an equivalent problem to a system of integral equations. Furthermore, we prove the existence and uniqueness theorem for the auxiliary problem by the contraction mappings principle. Based on the equivalency of these problems, the existence and uniqueness theorem for the classical solution of the original inverse problem is proved. Some discussions on the numerical solutions for this inverse problem are presented including some numerical examples.     

Global stability and uniqueness of an initial boundary value problem of a dusty gas model

In the present investigation, we obtain a universal stability theorem for a dusty gas model with constant number density of dust particles and as a consequence, we establish a uniqueness criterion for an initial boundary value problem. For a variable number density of dust particles, only a uniqueness theorem is obtained.     

An uniqueness result with some density theorems with interior transmission eigenvalues

Given a set of transmission eigenvalues, we apply Cartwright’s theory to show the density function inversely determines the indicator function. This indicator function gives a Weyl’s type of asymptotics on the transmission eigenvalues. The inverse uniqueness problem on the refraction index is reduced to identifying a parameter of an entire function. We use a Carlson’s type of theorem to prove the uniqueness as in entire function theory. Taking advantage of the uniqueness of rod density problem, we prove an uniqueness result with interior transmission eigenvalues.
