The new Zintl phase dibarium tritin hexaantimonide, Ba(2)Sn(3)Sb(6) has been synthesized, and its structure has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods. It crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group -Pnma with a = 13.351(1) ?, b = 4.4100(5) ?, c = 24.449(3) ?, and Z = 4 (T = -50 degrees C). The structure of Ba(2)Sn(3)Sb(6) comprises large channels [010] defined by 30-membered rings constructed from an anionic framework. This framework is built up from Sn-centered trigonal pyramids and tetrahedra, as well as zigzag chains of Sb atoms. Within the channels reside the Ba(2+) cations and additional isolated zigzag Sb-Sb chains. The simultaneous presence of Sn trigonal pyramids and tetrahedra implies that Ba(2)Sn(3)Sb(6) is a mixed-valence compound whose oxidation state notation can be best represented as (Ba(2+))(2)[(Sn(II))(2)(Sn(IV))(Sb(-)(III))(3)(Sb(-)(I))](2)(-)[(Sb(-)(I))(2)](2)(-).  相似文献

Eight tris(organotin)-substituted Keggin tungstosilicate heteropolyanions have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared and M?ssbauer spectroscopy, multinuclear NMR, and X-ray crystallography. The new anions contain alpha- or beta-SiW(9)O(34)(10)(-) moieties and are of two structural types, [(RSn)(3)(SiW(9)O(37))](7)(-) (R, isomer: Ph, alpha-, 1; n-Bu, alpha-, 2; Ph, beta-, 3; n-Bu, beta-, 4) and [(RSnOH)(3)(SiW(9)O(34))(2)](14)(-) (Ph, alpha-, 5; n-Bu, alpha-, 6; Ph, beta-, 7; n-Bu, beta-, 8). Crystals of Cs(4)H(3)[(PhSn)(3)(SiW(9)O(37))].8H(2)O (anion 3) are monoclinic, space group C2/c, with lattice constants a = 48.91(2) ?, b = 12.111(3) ?, c = 20.334(9) ?, beta = 102.30 degrees, and Z = 8. The anion has nominal C(3)(v)() symmetry and has a structure with three corner-shared WO(6) octahedra of the beta-Keggin anion replaced by three PhSnO(5) groups. Crystals of Cs(9)H(5)[(BuSnOH)(3)(SiW(9)O(34))(2)].36H(2)O (anion 6) are tetragonal, space group P&fourmacr;2(1)m, with lattice constants a = b = 29.005(4) ?, c = 13.412(4) ?, and Z = 4. The anion has the anticipated D(3)(h)() symmetry and contains three BuSnOH groups sandwiched between A,alpha-SiW(9)O(34)(10)(-) anions.  相似文献

Reaction of LRu(III)Cl(3) (L = 1,4,7-trimethyl-1,4,7-triazacyclononane) with 1,2-phenylenediamine (opdaH(2)) in H(2)O in the presence of air affords [LRu(II)(bqdi)(OH(2))](PF(6)) (1), where (bqdi) represents the neutral ligand o-benzoquinone diimine. From an alkaline methanol/water mixture of 1 was obtained the dinuclear species [{LRu(II)(bqdi)}(2)(&mgr;-H(3)O(2))](PF(6))(3) (1a). The coordinated water molecule in 1 is labile and can be readily substituted under appropriate reaction conditions by acetonitrile, yielding [LRu(II)(bqdi)(CH(3)CN)](PF(6))(2) (2), and by iodide and azide anions, affording [LRu(II)(bqdi)I](PF(6)).0.5H(2)O (3) and [LRu(bqdi)(N(3))](PF(6)).H(2)O (4), respectively. Heating of solid 4 in vacuum at 160 degrees C generates N(2) and the dinuclear, nitrido-bridged complex [{LRu(o-C(6)H(4)(NH)(2))}(2)(&mgr;-N)](PF(6))(2) (5). Complex 5 is a mixed-valent, paramagnetic species containing one unpaired electron per dinuclear unit whereas complexes 1-4 are diamagnetic. The crystal structures of 1, 1a.3CH(3)CN, 3, 4.H(2)O, and 5.3CH(3)CN.0.5(toluene) have been determined by X-ray crystallography: 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/m, Z = 2, with a = 8.412(2) ?, b = 15.562(3) ?, c = 10.025 ?, and beta = 109.89(2) degrees; 1a.3CH(3)CN, in the monoclinic space group C2/c, Z = 4, with a = 19.858(3) ?, b = 15.483(2) ?, c = 18.192(3) ?, and beta = 95.95(2) degrees; 3, in the orthorhombic space group Pnma, Z = 4, with a = 18.399(4) ?, b = 9.287(2) ?, and c = 12.052(2) ?, 4.H(2)O, in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, Z = 4, with a = 8.586(1) ?, b = 15.617(3) ?, c = 16.388(5) ?, and beta = 90.84(2) degrees; and 5.3CH(3)CN.0.5(toluene), in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, Z = 4, with a = 15.003(3) ?, b = 16.253(3) ?, c = 21.196(4) ?, and beta = 96.78(3) degrees. The structural data indicate that in complexes 1-4 the neutral o-benzoquinone diimine ligand prevails. In contrast, in 5 this ligand has predominantly o-phenylenediamide character, which would render 5 formally a mixed-valent Ru(IV)Ru(V) species. On the other hand, the Ru-N bond lengths of the Ru-N-Ru moiety at 1.805(5) and 1.767(5) ? are significantly longer than those in other crystallographically characterized Ru(IV)=N=Ru(IV) units (1.72-1.74 ?). It appears that the C(6)H(4)(NH)(2) ligand in 5 is noninnocent and that formal oxidation state assignments to the ligands or metal centers are not possible.  相似文献

The synthesis and structural characterization of water-soluble four-coordinate gold(I) complexes containing monodentate phosphine ligands are described. The ligands used are 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane (TPA) and its protonated and methylated derivatives, [HTPA]Cl and [MeTPA]I. Formation of the four-coordinate gold(I) species is favored by the small cone angle of the phosphine (102 degrees ) and its ability to form a hydrogen-bonded network between the nitrogen atoms of the ligand and solvent water molecules. The gold center in all four complexes has a nearly regular tetrahedral geometry with an average P-Au-P angle of 109.5 degrees. [(HTPA)(3)(TPA)Au](PF(6))(4).4H(2)O.CH(3)CN(1) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c (No. 14) with cell constants a = 20.719(3) ?, b = 15.606(2) ?, c = 17.854(2) ?, beta = 114.03(1) degrees, and Z = 4. Refinement of 4977 reflections and 650 parameters yields R = 0.0396 and R(w) = 0.0500. [(TPA)(4)Au]PF(6).1.5HCl.H(2)O (2), crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c (No. 15) with cell constants a = 33.036(7) ?, b = 11.212(2) ?, c = 31.503(5) ?, b = 137.58(1) degrees, and Z = 8. Refinement of 3835 reflections and 470 parameters yields R = 0.0351 and R(w) = 0.0403. Refinement of 290 reflections and 28 parameters yields R = 0.0624 and R(w) = 0.1291. [(MeTPA)(4)Au](PF(6))(5).2CH(3)CN (4) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c (No. 15) with cell constants a = 23.337(3) ?, b = 14.855(3) ?, c = 35.317(5) ?, b = 97.95(1) degrees, and Z = 8. Refinement of 7840 reflections and 621 parameters yields R = 0.0493 and R(w) = 0.0698.  相似文献

Reaction of [Zr(6)Cl(18)H(5)](3)(-) (1) with 1 equiv of TiCl(4) yields a new cluster anion, [Zr(6)Cl(18)H(5)](2)(-) (2), which can be converted back into [Zr(6)Cl(18)H(5)](3)(-) (1) upon addition of 1 equiv of Na/Hg. Cluster 2 is paramagnetic and unstable in the presence of donor molecules. It undergoes a disproportionation reaction to form 1, some Zr(IV) compounds, and H(2). It also reacts with TiCl(4) to form [Zr(2)Cl(9)](-) (4) and a tetranuclear mixed-metal species, [Zr(2)Ti(2)Cl(16)](2)(-) (3). The oxidation reaction of 1 with TiCl(4) is unique. Oxidation of 1 with H(+) in CH(2)Cl(2) solution results in the formation of [ZrCl(6)](2)(-) (5) and H(2), while in py solution the oxidation product is [ZrCl(5)(py)](-) (6). There is no reaction between 1 and TiI(4), ZrCl(4), [TiCl(6)](2)(-), [ZrCl(6)](2)(-), or CrCl(3). The metalation of substituted N,N'-di-tert-butylethylenediamines by various aluminum hydride sources has been investigated. HN(t-Bu)CH(t-Bu)CH(2)N(H)(t-Bu) forms a dimeric lithium chelated adduct of LiAlH(4), [{[HN(t-Bu)CH(t-Bu)CH(2)N(H)(t-Bu)]Li(&mgr;-H)(2)AlH(2)}(2)], 4, which thermally decomposes to yield the tetrameric lithium diamidoaluminum hydride [{Li[N(t-Bu)CH(t-Bu)CH(2)N(t-Bu)]AlH(2)}(4)], 5. The same diamine reacts with AlH(3).NMe(3) or AlH(3) diethyl etherate to give the secondary amine stabilized amidoaluminum hydride species [{HN(t-Bu)CH(t-Bu)CH(2)N(t-Bu)}AlH(2)], 2. Similarly, the same aluminum hydride sources react with the diamine rac-HN(t-Bu)CH(Me)CH(Me)N(H)(t-Bu) to yield [{rac-HN(t-Bu)CH(Me)CH(Me)N(t-Bu)}AlH(2)], 3. Compounds 2 and 3 are stable with respect to elimination of hydrogen to form diamidoaluminum hydrides, but can be converted to the alane rich species, [H(2)Al{N(t-Bu)CH(t-Bu)CH(2)N(t-Bu)}AlH(2)],6, and [H(2)Al{rac-N(t-Bu)CH(Me)CH(Me)N(t-Bu)}AlH(2)], 7, by reaction with AlH(3).NMe(3) under special conditions. The varying reactivity of the three aluminum hydride sources in these reactions has enabled mechanistic information to be gathered, and the effect of the different steric requirements in the diamines on the stability of the complexes is discussed. Crystals of 3are monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n (No. 14), with a = 8.910(4), b = 14.809(1), and c = 12.239(6) ?, beta = 109.76(2) degrees, V = 1520(1) ?(3), and Z = 4. Crystals of 4 are orthorhombic, space group Pbca (No. 61), with a = 15.906(9), b = 24.651(7), and c = 9.933(7) ?, V = 3895(3) ?(3), and Z = 4. Crystals of 6 are monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c (No. 14), with a = 8.392(1), b = 17.513(2), and c = 12.959(1) ?, beta = 107.098(8) degrees, V = 1820.4(3) ?(3), and Z = 4.  相似文献

A series of optically active silatrane derivatives, [Si{N(CHRCH(2)O)(CH(2)CH(2)O)(2)}X] (R = Me, i-Pr; X = Ph, OMe) has been synthesized by the reaction of optically active triethanolamine derivatives with XSi(OMe)(3), and characterized by (1)H NMR, (13)C NMR, (29)Si NMR, and mass spectroscopy, and the structures of six compounds have been determined by X-ray analysis. Molecular mechanics methods have also been employed to obtain the energy-minimized structures. The (29)Si NMR chemical shifts and the lengths of Si-N determined by X-ray analysis are sensitive to the bulkiness of the substituent (R). The Si-X bond lengths (X: trans position to nitrogen) do not appreciably differ from one another. The MM2 calculations indicated that the substituent exists in the equatorial position, and the results are in agreement with those of X-ray analysis and (1)H NMR spectroscopy. Crystallographic data: [R = H; X = OMe], C(7)H(15)NO(4)Si, orthorhombic, Pna2(1), a = 13.407(1) ?, b = 8.761(2) ?, c = 8.191(1) ?, Z = 4; [R = Me; X = OMe], C(8)H(17)NO(4)Si, orthorhombic, P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 10.110(3) ?, b = 11.083(2) ?, c = 9.474(2) ?, Z = 4; [R = i-Pr; X = OMe], C(10)H(21)NO(4)Si, monoclinic, P2(1), a = 8.481(1) ?, b = 7.805(1) ?, c = 10.218(2) ?, beta = 111.31(1) degrees, Z = 2; [R = Me; X = Ph], C(13)H(19)NO(3)Si, orthorhombic, P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 8.813(1) ?, b = 11.137(2) ?, c = 13.757(1) ?, Z = 4; [R = i-Pr; X = Ph], C(15)H(23)NO(3)Si, orthorhombic, P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 8.365(1) ?, b = 13.538(2) ?, c = 13.841(2) ?, Z = 4.  相似文献

The novel, functionalized heteropolymolybdates [RPMo(6)O(21)(O(2)CCH(2)NH(3))(3)](2)(-) (R = OH, CH(3), C(2)H(5), H) have been synthesized and characterized by IR, (31)P NMR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. Single-crystal X-ray analysis was carried out on K(2)[HOPMo(6)O(21)(O(2)CCH(2)NH(3))(3)].8.5H(2)O, which crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group Pnma, with a = 14.118(2) A, b = 20.660(3) A, c = 12.191(2) A, and Z = 4; K(2)[H(3)CPMo(6)O(21)(O(2)CCH(2)NH(3))(3)].8.5H(2)O, which crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group Pnma, with a = 14.1643(6) A, b = 20.8658(8) A, c = 12.2235(5) A, and Z = 4; and K(2)[HPMo(6)O(21)(O(2)CCH(2)NH(3))(3)].8H(2)O, which crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group Pnma, with a = 14.092(3) A, b = 20.696(2) A, c = 12.199(4) A, and Z = 4. We also report on the synthesis and characterization of the isostructural derivative K(2)[H(5)C(2)PMo(6)O(21)(O(2)CCH(2)NH(3))(3)]. The four title polyanions consist of an RP (R = OH, CH(3), C(2)H(5), H) hetero group surrounded by a ring of six MoO(6) octahedra sharing edges and corners alternatingly. Three glycine molecules are each bound to two edge-sharing Mo centers via their carboxylate functionality on the same side of the ring. The central phosphorus atom is located slightly above the plane of the six molybdenums, and its terminal R group is on the same side of the ring as the glycines. NMR studies show that the solid state structures of the title compounds are preserved in solution.  相似文献

Formate is an inhibitor of cytochrome oxidases and also effects conversion of the bovine heart enzyme from the "fast" to the "slow" cyanide-binding form. The molecular basis of these effects is unknown; one possibility is that formate inserts as a bridge into the binuclear heme a(3)-Cu(B) site, impeding the binding of dioxygen or cyanide. Consequently, Fe-Cu-carboxylate interactions are a matter of current interest. We have initiated an examination of such interactions by the synthesis of the first examples of [Fe(III)-(&mgr;(2):eta(2)-RCO(2))-Cu(II)] bridges, minimally represented by Fe(III)-L + Cu(II)-O(2)CR --> [Fe(III)-(RCO(2))-Cu(II)] + L. A series of Cu(II) precursor complexes and solvate forms have been prepared and their structures determined, including [Cu(Me(5)dien)(O(2)CH)](+) (3), [Cu(Me(5)dien)(O(2)CH)(MeOH)](+) (4), [Cu(Me(6)tren)(O(2)CH)](+) (5), and [Cu(Me(5)dien)(OAc)](+) (6). [4](ClO(4)) was obtained in monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 8.166(3) ?, b = 15.119(5) ?, c = 15.070(4) ?, beta = 104.65(2) degrees, and Z = 4. [5](ClO(4))/[6](ClO(4)) crystallize in orthorhombic space groups Pnma/Pna2(1) with a = 16.788(2)/14.928(5) ?, b = 9.542(1)/9.341(4) ?, c = 12.911(1)/12.554(4) ?, and Z = 4/4. In all cases, the carboxylate ligand is terminal and is bound in a syn orientation. Also prepared for the purpose of structural comparison was [Fe(OEP)(O(2)CH)], which occurred in monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a = 13.342(2) ?, b = 13.621(2) ?, c = 19.333(2) ?, beta = 106.12(2) degrees, and Z = 4. The desired bridges were stabilized in the assemblies [(OEP)Fe(O(2)CH)Cu(Me(5)dien)(OClO(3))](+) (9), [(OEP)Fe(OAc)Cu(Me(5)dien)](2+) (10), and {(OEP)Fe[(O(2)CH)Cu(Me(6)tren)](2)}(3+) (11), which were prepared by the reaction of 3, 6, and 5, respectively, with [Fe(OEP)(OClO(3))] in acetone or dichloromethane. [9](ClO(4))/[10](ClO(4))(2).CH(2)Cl(2) crystallize in triclinic space group P&onemacr; with a = 9.016(3)/13.777(3) ?, b = 15.377(5)/13.847(3) ?, c = 19.253(5)/17.608(4) ?, alpha = 78.12(3)/96.82(3) degrees, beta = 86.30(4)/108.06(3) degrees, gamma = 76.23(3)/114.32(3) degrees, and Z = 2/2. Each assembly contains a [Fe(III)-(RCO(2))-Cu(II)] bridge but with the differing orientations anti-anti (9) and syn-anti (10, 11). The compound [11](ClO(4))(2)(SbF(6)) occurs in orthorhombic space group Pbcn with a = 12.517(6) ?, b = 29.45(1) ?, c = 21.569(8) ?, and Z = 4. Complex 11 is trinuclear; the Fe(III) site has two axial formate ligands with bond distances indicative of a high-spin configuration. Structural features of 9-11 are discussed and are considered in relation to the possible insertion of formate into the binuclear sites of two oxidases whose structures were recently determined. The present results contribute to the series of molecular assemblies with the bridge groups [Fe(III)-X-Cu(II)], X = O(2)(-), OH(-), and RCO(2)(-), all with a common high-spin heme, thereby allowing an examination of electronic structure as dependent on the bridging atom or group and bridge structure. Reaction of VO(acac)(2) with 2-mercaptophenol (mpH(2)) in the presence of triethylamine gives the mononuclear tris complex (Et(3)NH)(2)[V(mp)(3)] (1), in which the vanadyl oxygen has been displaced. An analogous reaction using 2-mercapto-4-methylphenol (mmpH(2)) afforded (Et(3)NH)(PNP)[V(mmp)(3)] (2), which was structurally characterized. 2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pna2(1 )with unit cell parameters (at -163 degrees C) a = 23.974(7) ?, b = 9.569(4) ?, c = 25.101(6) ?, and Z = 4. The coordination geometry around the vanadium is between octahedral and trigonal prismatic. Reaction of VO(acac)(2 )with the sodium salt of 2-mercaptophenol produces the vanadyl(IV) complex Na(Ph(4)P)[VO(mp)(2)].Et(2)O (3), which crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr; with unit cell parameters (at -135 degrees C) a = 12.185(4) ?, b = 12.658(4) ?, c = 14.244(4) ?, alpha = 103.19(2) degrees, beta = 100.84(2) degrees, and gamma = 114.17(2) degrees. The unit cell of 3 contains a pair of symmetry-related [VO(mp)(2)](2)(-) units bridged through vanadyl and ligand oxygen atoms by a pair of sodium ions, in addition to two PPh(4)(+) ions. The coordination geometry around the vanadium is square pyramidal, with a V=O bond length of 1.611(5) ?. 1, 2, and 3 are characterized by IR and UV-vis spectroscopies, magnetic susceptibility, EPR spectroscopy, and cyclic voltammetry. 1 and 2 can be oxidized by I(2, )Cp(2)Fe(+), or O(2) to [V(mp)(3)](-) and [V(mmp)(3)](-), respectively, which in turn can be reduced back to the dianions by oxalate ion. These reversible redox processes can be followed by UV-vis spectroscopy.  相似文献

The new cyclic silanes [(C(5)H(3)N)(CH(2)O)(2)SiMe(2)](2) (1) and (C(5)H(3)N)(CH(2)CPh(2)O)(2)SiMe(2) (2) containing 16-membered and 10-membered rings, respectively, were prepared by the condensation reaction of Me(2)SiCl(2) with an appropriate pyridine diol in the presence of Et(3)N. X-ray studies show that the dimeric formulation for 1 represents a tetracoordinate cyclic silane, whereas 2 has a geometry halfway from a tetrahedron toward a trigonal bipyramid (TBP) as a result of Si-N(ax) donor action. (29)Si and (1)H NMR indicate retention of the coordination geometry for 2 in solution that undergoes rapid Si-N cleavage and ring rearrangement. In comparison with other silanes containing five- and six-membered rings that exhibit nitrogen or oxygen coordination, the presence of larger rings, as in 2 and related silanes having sulfur coordination, indicates that retention of donor action persists, thus largely ruling out ring size as a dominant factor controlling the possibility of donor action at silicon. The dimeric silane 1 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr; with a = 6.347(3) ?, b = 12.455(4) ?, c = 14.289(5) ?, alpha = 101.63(3) degrees, beta = 102.99(3) degrees, gamma = 104.71(3) degrees, and Z = 2. The cyclic silane 2 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr; with a = 9.733(4) ?, b = 10.938(2) ?, c = 14.312(3) ?, alpha = 89.03(2) degrees, beta = 74.59(3) degrees, gamma = 79.24(3) degrees, and Z = 2. The final conventional unweighted residuals are 0.040 (1) and 0.039 (2).  相似文献

The syntheses and crystal structures of the first cyanide, sulfur mixed ligand copper(I) complexes are reported. The first complex of the family was discovered when (CuCN)(3)(C(6)H(12)N(4))(2) (1) (C(6)H(12)N(4) = hexamethylenetetramine) was treated with aqueous thiourea. The sulfur ligands include thiourea (tu), 1,3-dimethyl-2-thiourea (dmtu), 1,3-diethyl-2-thiourea (detu), 1,1,3,3-tetramethyl-2-thiourea (tmtu), and 2-imidazolidinethione (N,N'-ethylenethiourea, etu). Synthesis was effected by adding the ligand to a solution of CuCN in aqueous sodium thiosulfate. Complex 2, (CuCN)(2)(tu)(3)(H(2)O), crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr;with unit cell dimensions a = 7.696(5) ?, b = 9.346(2) ?, c = 10.772(2) ?, alpha = 106.53(2) degrees, beta = 91.11(4) degrees, gamma = 98.42(3) degrees, and Z = 2. Complex 3, (CuCN)(3)(dmtu)(2), crystallizes in the monoclinic space group Cc with unit cell dimensions a = 10.082(3) ?, b = 14.984(5) ?, c = 11.413(3) ?, beta = 104.50(2) degrees, and Z = 4. Complex 4, (CuCN)(2)(detu)(H(2)O), crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with unit cell dimensions a = 7.969(5) ?, b = 11.559(4) ?, c = 13.736(5) ?, beta = 100.48(4) degrees, and Z = 4. Complex 5, (CuCN)(tmtu) (polymorph a), crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group P2(1)2(1)2(1) with unit cell dimensions a = 8.653(1) ?, b = 9.426(1) ?, c = 11.620(3) ?, and Z = 4. Complex 6, (CuCN)(tmtu) (polymorph b), which has the same connectivity as 5, crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr; with unit cell dimensions a = 9.660(4) ?, b = 14.202(4) ?, c = 16.03(1) ?, alpha = 101.68(5) degrees, beta = 107.08(6) degrees, gamma = 70.07(2) degrees, and Z = 8. The difference between the polymorphs is that 5 has a zig-zag chain with a repeat unit of two while 6 has a 4-fold helix. Complex 7, (CuCN)(2)(etu), crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)( )()with unit cell dimensions a = 3.994(2) ?, b = 13.886(3) ?, c = 7.556(1) ?, beta = 97.07(2) degrees, and Z = 2.  相似文献

Reactions of niobium and tantalum pentachlorides with tert-butylamine (>/=6 equiv) in benzene afford the dimeric imido complexes [NbCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2) (90%) and [TaCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2) (79%). The niobium complex exists as two isomers in solution, while the tantalum complex is composed of three major isomers and at least two minor isomers. Analogous treatments with isopropylamine (>/=7 equiv) give the monomeric complexes NbCl(2)(N(i)Pr)(NH(i)Pr)(NH(2)(i)Pr)(2) (84%) and TaCl(2)(N(i)Pr)(NH(i)Pr)(NH(2)(i)Pr)(2) (84%). The monomeric complexes are unaffected by treatment with excess isopropylamine, while the dimeric complexes are cleaved to the monomers MCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)(2) upon addition of excess tert-butylamine in chloroform solution. Treatment of niobium and tantalum pentachlorides with 2,6-diisopropylaniline affords insoluble precipitates of [NH(3)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3))](2)[NbCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))] (100%) and [NH(3)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3))](2)[TaCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))] (100%), which react with 4-tert-butylpyridine to afford the soluble complexes [4-t-C(4)H(9)C(5)H(4)NH](2)[NbCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))] (45%) and [4-t-C(4)H(9)C(5)H(4)NH](2)[TaCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))] (44%). Sublimation of [NbCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2), MCl(2)(N(i)Pr)(NH(i)Pr)(NH(2)(i)Pr)(2), and [NH(3)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3))](2)[MCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))] leads to decomposition to give [MCl(3)(NR)(NH(2)R)](2) as sublimates (32-49%), leaving complexes of the proposed formulation MCl(NR)(2) as nonvolatile residues. By contrast, [TaCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2) sublimes without chemical reaction. Analysis of the organic products obtained from thermal decomposition of [NbCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2) showed isobutylene and tert-butylamine in a 2.2:1 ratio. Mass spectra of [NbCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2), [TaCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2), and [NbCl(3)(N(i)Pr)(NH(2)(i)Pr)](2) showed the presence of dimeric imido complexes, monomeric imido complexes, and nitrido complexes, implying that such species are important gas phase species in CVD processes utilizing these molecular precursors. The crystal structures of [4-t-C(4)H(9)C(5)H(4)NH](2)[NbCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))], [NbCl(3)(N(i)Pr)(NH(2)(i)Pr)](2), [NbCl(3)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))(NH(2)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))](2), and [TaCl(3)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))(NH(2)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))](2) were determined. [4-t-C(4)H(9)C(5)H(4)NH](2)[NbCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))] crystallizes in the space group P2(1)/c with a = 12.448(3) ?, b = 10.363(3) ?, c = 28.228(3) ?, beta = 94.92(1) degrees, V = 3628(5) ?(3), and Z = 4. [NbCl(3)(N(i)Pr)(NH(2)(i)Pr)](2) crystallizes in the space group P2(1)/c with a = 9.586(4) ?, b = 12.385(4) ?, c = 11.695(4) ?, beta = 112.89(2) degrees, V = 1279.0(6) ?(3), and Z = 2. [NbCl(3)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))(NH(2)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))](2) crystallizes in the space group P2(1)/n with a = 10.285(3) ?, b = 11.208(3) ?, c = 23.867(6) ?, beta = 97.53 degrees, V = 2727(1) ?(3), and Z = 2. [TaCl(3)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))(NH(2)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))](2) crystallizes in the space group P2(1)/n with a = 10.273(1) ?, b = 11.241(2) ?, c = 23.929(7) ?, beta = 97.69(2) degrees, V = 2695(2) ?(3), and Z = 2. These findings are discussed in the context of niobium and tantalum nitride film depositions from molecular precursors.  相似文献

Dimanganese-substituted gamma-Keggin heteropoly tungstates have been synthesized by reaction of the lacunary species gamma-[(SiO(4))W(10)O(32)](8)(-) with appropriate mixtures of Mn(II) and MnO(4)(-). The crystal structure of [(CH(3))(3)(C(6)H(5))N](4)[(SiO(4))W(10)Mn(III)(2)O(36)H(6)].2CH(3)CN.H(2)O (anion 1) was determined by X-ray diffraction. Crystallographic data: space group P&onemacr;, a = 12.951(3) ?, b = 14.429(3) ?, c = 20.347(4) ?, alpha = 81.95(3) degrees, beta = 88.92(3) degrees, gamma = 67.48(3) degrees, V = 3475.2(13) ?(3), and Z = 2. The final R value is 7.29% for 15861 reflections with I > 2sigma(I). The anion has the anticipated gamma-Keggin structure with virtual C(2)(v)() symmetry. The two Mn cations occupy adjacent, edge-shared octahedra with bridging hydroxo and terminal aqua ligands. Anion 1 can be oxidized and reduced to the corresponding Mn(III)Mn(IV) (2) and Mn(II)(2) (3) species respectively. The magnetic susceptibility of 1 between 2 and 300 K indicates that the Mn(III) cations are antiferromagnetically coupled, with J = -17.0 cm(-)(1) and g = 1.965. No simple magnetic behavior was observed for 2 or 3.  相似文献

Synthetic methods for [Et(4)N](4)[W(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)] (1), [Et(4)N](4)[Mo(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)] (2), [W(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)(CuTMEN)(4)] (3), and [Mo(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)(CuTMEN)(4)] (4) are described. [Et(4)N](2)[MS(4)], [Et(4)N](2)[MS(2)O(2)], Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and KBH(4) (or Et(4)NBH(4)) were used as starting materials for the synthesis of 1 and 2. Compounds 3 and 4 were produced by reaction of [Et(4)N](2)[WOS(3)], Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and TMEN and by reaction of [Me(4)N](2)[MO(2)O(2)S(8)], Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and TMEN, respectively. Crystal structures of compounds 1-4 were determined. Compounds 1 and 2 crystallized in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 14.264(5) ?, b = 32.833(8) ?, c = 14.480(3) ?, beta = 118.66(2) degrees, V = 5950.8(5) ?(3), and Z = 4 for 1 and a = 14.288(5) ?, b = 32.937(10) ?, c = 14.490(3) ?, beta = 118.75(2) degrees, V = 5978.4(7) ?(3), and Z = 4 for 2. Compounds 3 and 4 crystallized in the trigonal space group P3(2)21 with a = 13.836(6) ?, c = 29.81(1) ?, V = 4942(4) ?(3), and Z = 3 for 3 and a = 13.756(9) ?, c = 29.80(2) ?, V = 4885(6) ?(3), and Z = 3 for 4. The cluster cores have approximate C(2v) symmetry. The anions of 1 and 2 may be viewed as consisting of two butterfly-type [CuMOS(3)Cu] fragments bridged by two [MOS(3)](2-) groups. Eight metal atoms in the anions are arranged in an approximate square configuration, with a Cu(4)M(4)S(12) ring structure. Compounds 3 and 4 can be considered to consist of one [M(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)](4-) (the anions of 1 and 2) unit capped by Cu(TMEN)(+) groups on each M atom; the Cu(TMEN)(+) groups extend alternately up and down around the Cu(4)M(4) square. The electronic spectra of the compounds are dominated by the internal transitions of the [MOS(3)](2-) moiety. (95)Mo NMR spectral data are investigated and compared with those of other compounds.  相似文献

Treatment of trans-[PtCl(4)(RCN)(2)] (R = Me, Et) with R'OH (R' = Me, Et, n-Pr, i-Pr, n-Bu) at 45 degrees C in all cases allowed the isolation of the trans-[PtCl(4)[(E)-NH=C(R)OR'](2)] imino ester complexes, while the reaction between cis-[PtCl(4)(RCN)(2)] and the least sterically hindered alcohols (methanol and ethanol) results in the formation of cis-[PtCl(4)[(E)-NH=C(R)OR'](2)] (R/R' = Me/Me) or trans-[PtCl(4)[(E)-NH=C(Et)OR'](2)] (R' = Me, Et), the latter being formed via thermal isomerization (ROH, reflux, 3 h) of the initially formed corresponding cis isomers. The reaction between alcohols R'OH and cis-[PtCl(4)(RCN)(2)] (R = Me, R' = Et, n-Pr, i-Pr, n-Bu; R = Et; R' = n-Pr, i-Pr, n-Bu), exhibiting greater R/R' steric congestion, allowed the isolation of cis-[PtCl(4)[(E)-NH=C(R)OR'][(Z)-NH=C(R)OR']] as the major products. The alcoholysis reactions of poorly soluble [PtCl(4)(RCN)(2)] (R = CH(2)Ph, Ph) performed under heterogeneous conditions, directly in the appropriate alcohol and for a prolonged time and, for R = Ph, with heating led to trans-[PtCl(4)[(E)-NH=C(R)OR'](2)] (R = CH(2)Ph, R' = Me, Et, n-Pr, i-Pr; R = Ph, R' = Me) isolated in moderate yields. In all of the cases, in contrast to platinum(II) systems, addition of R'OH to the organonitrile platinum(IV) complexes occurs under mild conditions and does not require a base as a catalyst. The formed isomerically pure (imino ester)Pt(IV) complexes can be reduced selectively, by Ph(3)P=CHCO(2)Me, to the corresponding isomers of (imino ester)Pt(II) species, exhibiting antitumor activity, without change in configuration of the imino ester ligands. Furthemore, the imino esters NH=C(R)OR' can be liberated from both platinum(IV) and platinum(II) complexes [PtCl(n)[H=C(R)OR'](2)] (n = 2, 4) by reaction with 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane and pyridine, respectively. All of the prepared compounds were characterized by elemental analyses (C, H, N), FAB mass spectrometry, IR, and (1)H, (13)C[(1)H], and (195)Pt (metal complexes) NMR spectroscopies; the E and Z configurations of the imino ester ligands in solution were determined by observation of the nuclear Overhauser effect. X-ray structure determinations were performed for trans-[PtCl(4)[(E)-NH=C(Me)OEt](2)] (2), trans-[PtCl(4)[(E)-NH=C(Et)OEt](2)] (10), trans-[PtCl(4)[(E)-NH=C(Et)OPr-i](2)] (11), trans-[PtCl(4)[(E)-NH=C(Et)OPr-n](2)] (12), and cis-[PtCl(4)[(E)-NH=C(Et)OMe](2)] (14). Ab initio calculations have shown that the EE isomers are the most stable ones for both platinum(II) and platinum(IV) complexes, whereas the most stable configurations for the ZZ isomers are less stable than the respective EZ isomers, indicating an increase of the stability on moving from the ZZ to the EE configurations which is more pronounced for the Pt(IV) complexes than for the Pt(II) species.  相似文献

The X-ray crystal structure of the p-sulfonatocalix[5]arene(5)(-) anion (1b) in the form of the dimeric hydrate Na(10)[p-sulfonatocalix[5]arene](2).33.5H(2)O (2) is reported. The reactions of 1b with a number of transition metal salts to form transition metal bridged bis(calixarene) inclusion complexes have also been investigated. The X-ray crystal structure of the "Co(H(2)O)(4)(2+)" bridged species Na(8)[Co(H(2)O)(4)(p-sulfonatocalix[5]arene)(2)].2CH(3)C(O)N(CH(3))(2).37H(2)O (3) which incorporates a "supercavity" large enough to encompass 2 N,N-dimethylacetamide (dma) guest molecules as well as ca. 15 water molecules and Na(+) ions is reported. In this contribution, we describe the preparation and single-crystal X-ray diffraction of a new building block for bimetallic solid state materials. X-ray diffraction data of these complexes indicate that (PPh(4))(2)[Fe(CN)(5)imidazole]·2H(2)O crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 with a = 9.8108(15) ?, b = 11.1655(17) ?, c = 23.848(4) ?, α = 87.219(2)°, β = 85.573(2)°, γ = 70.729(2)°, and Z = 2, while its precursor Na(3)[Fe(CN)(5)(en)]·5H(2)O crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 8.3607(7) ?, b = 11.1624(9) ?, c = 17.4233(14) ?, β = 90.1293(9)°, and Z = 4. Spectroscopic and magnetic properties of a series of bimetallic materials were obtained by reaction of the complex [Fe(CN)(5)imidazole](2-) with hydrated transition metal ions [M(H(2)O)(n)](2+) (M = Mn, Co, Zn; n = 4 or 6). The new bimetallic materials obtained are [Co(H(2)O)(2)][Fe(CN)(5)imidazole]·2H(2)O (1), [Mn(CH(3)OH)(2)][Fe(CN)(5)imidazole] (2), Zn[Fe(CN)(5)imidazole]·H(2)O (3), and [Mn(bpy)][Fe(CN)(5)imidazole].H(2)O (4). All of the complexes crystallize in the orthorhombic system. X-ray single-crystal analysis of the compounds identified the Imma space group with a = 7.3558(10) ?, b = 14.627(2) ?, c = 14.909(2) ?, and Z = 4 for 1; the P2(1)2(1)2(1) space group with a = 7.385(5) ?, b = 13.767(9) ?, c = 14.895(10) ?, and Z = 4 for 2; the Pnma space group with a = 13.783(2) ?, b = 7.167(11) ?, c = 12.599(2) ?, and Z = 4 for 3; and the Pnma space group with a = 13.192(3) ?, b = 7.224(16) ?, c = 22.294(5) ?, and Z = 4 for 4. The structures of 1, 2, and 4 consist of two-dimensional network layers containing, as the repeating unit, a cyclic tetramer [M(2)Fe(2)(CN)(4)] (M = Mn, Co). H bonding between the layers in the structure of 1 results in a quasi-three-dimensional network. The structure of 3 was found to be three-dimensional, where all of the cyano ligands are involved in bridging between the metal centers. The bridging character of the cyano is confirmed spectroscopically. The magnetic properties have been investigated for all of the bimetallic systems. Compound 1 shows ferromagnetic behavior with an ordering temperature at 25 K, which is higher than the corresponding Prussian Blue analogue Co(x)[Fe(CN)(6)](y)?·zH(2)O. Compound 2 shows weak ferromagnetic behavior and an interlayer antiferromagnetic character, while 3, as expected, shows paramagnetic character due to the diamagnetic character of Zn(2+). Compound 4 shows antiferromagnetic behavior.  相似文献
