Oxidative addition of diorganyl diselenides to the coordinatively unsaturated, low-valent transition-metal-carbonyl fragment [Mn(CO)(5)](-) produced cis-[Mn(CO)(4)(SeR)(2)](-). The complex cis-[PPN][Mn(CO)(4)(SePh)(2)] crystallized in triclinic space group P&onemacr; with a = 10.892(8) ?, b = 10.992(7) ?, c = 27.021(4) ?, alpha = 101.93(4) degrees, beta = 89.79(5) degrees, gamma = 116.94(5) degrees, V = 2807(3) ?(3), and Z = 2; final R = 0.085 and R(w) = 0.094. Thermolytic transformation of cis-[Mn(CO)(4)(SeMe)(2)](-) to [(CO)(3)Mn(&mgr;-SeMe)(3)Mn(CO)(3)](-) was accomplished in high yield in THF at room temperature. Crystal data for [Na-18-crown-6-ether][(CO)(3)Mn(&mgr;-SeMe)(3)Mn(CO)(3)]: trigonal space group R&thremacr;, a = 13.533(3) ?, c = 32.292(8) ?, V = 5122(2) ?(3), Z = 6, R = 0.042, R(w) = 0.041. Oxidation of Co(2+) to Co(3+) by diphenyl diselenide in the presence of chelating metallo ligands cis-[Mn(CO)(4)(SePh)(2)](-) and cis-[Mn(CO)(4)(TePh)(2)](-), followed by a bezenselenolate ligand rearranging to bridge two metals and a labile carbonyl shift from Mn to Co, led directly to [(CO)(4)Mn(&mgr;-TePh)(2)Co(CO)(&mgr;-SePh)(3)Mn(CO)(3)]. Crystal data: triclinic space group P&onemacr;, a = 11.712(3) ?, b = 12.197(3) ?, c = 15.754(3) ?, alpha = 83.56(2) degrees, beta = 76.13(2) degrees, gamma = 72.69(2) degrees, V = 2083.8(7) ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.040, R(w) = 0.040. Addition of fac-[Fe(CO)(3)(SePh)(3)](-) to fac-[Mn(CO)(3)(CH(3)CN)(3)](+) resulted in formation of (CO)(3)Mn(&mgr;-SePh)(3)Fe(CO)(3). This neutral heterometallic complex crystallized in monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 8.707(2) ?, b = 17.413(4) ?, c = 17.541(4) ?, beta = 99.72(2) degrees, V = 2621(1) ?(3), and Z = 4; final R = 0.033 and R(w) = 0.030.  相似文献

Three methods have been developed to prepare gallium and indium complexes of three tetradentate N(2)S(2) ligands of the general formula M(N(2)S(2))R (M = Ga, In; R = Cl, Br, SCN, O(2)CC(6)H(5)-O,O'). The ancillary ligand (Cl, SCN, O(2)CC(6)H(5)-O,O') was varied with the tetradentate ligand BAT-TM. X-ray crystallography shows that the coordination geometry about the d(10) metal ion is influenced by the steric requirements of the ligands. X-ray crystallography of four molecules results in the following data: GaCl(BAT-TM) (1), formula = C(10)H(22)ClGaN(2)S(2), space group = Pnma, a = 12.387(4) ?, b = 21.116(6) ?, c = 5.986(2) ?, V = 1565.8(9) ?(3), Z = 4; InCl(BAT-TM) (2), formula = C(10)H(22)ClInN(2)S(2), space group = Pnma, a = 12.968(9) ?, b = 29.29(1) ?, c = 5.866(2) ?, V = 1620(2) ?(3), Z = 4; InNCS(BAT-TM) (3), formula = C(11)H(24)ClInN(3)S(3), space group = Pbca, a = 11.812(3) ?, b = 11.679(3) ?, c = 24.238(9) ?, V = 3449.7 (17) ?(3), Z = 8; In(O,O'-O(2)CC(6)H(5))(BAT-TM) (4), formula = C(19)H(29)O(2)InN(2)S(2), space group = P2(1)/n, a = 10.783(2) ?, b = 18.708(4) ?, c = 12.335(4) ?, V = 2321.7(9) ?(3), Z = 4. Proton NMR studies show that the complexes are stable in solution; in polar solvents such as acetonitrile, for certain molecules, two metal-ligand complexes are observed. Similarly, two metal-ligand complexes are seen in NMR data taken in 80% acetonitrile/20% D(2)O (pD = 4.6) mixture. HPLC studies (acetonitrile/50 mM sodium acetate, pH = 4.6) show that the lipophilicity of the ligand determines the retention time of the complex.  相似文献

The reaction of 2-(1-naphthyl)benzothiazoline with palladium(II) acetate leads to helical mononuclear and orthometalated tetranuclear products. The molecular structures of mononuclear palladium(II) [Pd(H1-nabz)(2)] (1) (H(2)1-nabz = 2-N-(1-naphthylmethylideneamino)benzenethiolate), tetranuclear palladium(II) [Pd(4)(1-nabz)(4)] (2) and tetranuclear platinum(II) [Pt(4)(1-nabz)(4)] (3) have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction method. Crystal data for complex 1 are as follows: a = 14.208(3) ?, b = 18.227(4) ?, c = 14.398(8) ?; beta = 94.55(3) degrees; V = 3717.0(23) ?(3); space group = P2(1)/n, Z = 4. Crystal data for the complex 2 are as follows: a = b = 15.798(3) ?, c = 23.728(4) ?; V = 5921.7(20) ?(3); space group = I4(1)/a, Z = 16 for the Pd(1-nabz) unit. Crystal data for the complex 3 are as follows: a = b = 15.496(2) ?, c = 24.348(3) ?; V = 5846.3(20) ?(3); space group = I4(1)/a, Z = 16 for the Pt(1-nabz) unit. The mononuclear palladium(II) complex reveals short ortho-hydrogen.palladium distances of 2.66(7) and 2.48(7) ?. These short distances and (1)H NMR studies provide a M.H-C interaction which can be regarded as a three-center four-electron interaction. The molecular structures of 2 and 3 confirm the formation of unusual tetranuclear compounds featuring a rare C,N,S-tridentate ligand derived from orthometalation of pendant side arm. The structural and chemical properties of the mononuclear palladium(II) complex 1 clearly suggest that 1 is a potential intermediate in the formation of the tetranuclear complex 2 by orthometalation reactions.  相似文献

Alkylcobalt(III) Schiff base B(12) model complexes with secondary alkyls or a bulky diamine in the equatorial position were synthesized and characterized. Structures have been first determined by X-ray diffraction analysis for i-C(4)H(9)Co(salen)(gamma-pic) (I), n-C(3)H(7)Co(salen)(gamma-pic) (II) and C(2)H(5)Co(SB) (III), where salen = N,N'-ethylenebis(salicylideneamine) dianion; SB = 1,1,2,2-tetramethyl-N,N'-ethylenebis(salicylideneamine) dianion, gamma-pic = gamma-picoline. Crystal data for I (CoC(26)N(3)O(2)H(30)): space group P2(1)/c with a = 6.661(5) ?, b = 18.612(2) ?, c = 19.533(3) ?, beta = 98.93(1) degrees, V = 2392.10 ?(3), D(calcd) = 1.320 g.cm(-3), Z = 4, and R = 0.048 for 4469 measured reflections. Crystal data for II (CoC(25)N(3)O(2)H(28)): space group P2(1)/c, a = 9.609(6) ?, b = 19.169(8) ?, c = 12.995(9) ?, beta = 106.9(7) degrees, V = 2290.4 ?(3), D(calcd) = 1.332 g.cm(-1), Z = 4, and R = 0.048 for 4358 measured reflections. Crystal data for III (CoC(22)N(2)O(2)H(27)): space group P2(1)/c, a = 8.318(3) ?, b = 21.579(2) ?, c = 11.572(2) ?, beta = 93.35(1) degrees, V = 2073.7 ?(3), D(calcd) = 1.314 g.cm(-1), Z = 4, and R = 0.060 for 3954 measured reflections. The crystal structure data reveal that complexes I and II display six-coordinate octahedral geometry; their Co-C, Co-N bond lengths, as well as the Co-C-C angles, are very close to those in 5'-deoxyadenosylcobalamin. Complex III is one of the very few compounds having five-coordinate square pyramidal geometry and observed instability of the Co-C bond.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of the tetrameric lithium thiolate (LiSC(6)H(2)-2,4,6-Ph(3))(4).C(7)H(8) (1), the trimeric lithium thiolate (LiSC(6)H(3)-2,6-Mes(2))(3).C(6)H(14)()()(2) (Mes = 2,4,6-Me(3)C(6)H(2)), the thiol HSC(6)H(3)-2,6-Trip(2) (3) (Trip = 2,4,6-i-Pr(3)C(6)H(2)), and the complete alkali metal series of dimeric thiolates (MSC(6)H(3)-2,6-Trip(2))(2) (M = Li (4, 5), Na (6), K (7), Rb (8), Cs (9)) are described. The compounds were characterized by (1)H, (7)Li, and (13)C NMR and IR spectroscopy and by X-ray crystallography. The compounds 1 and 2 crystallize as four- and three-rung ladder framework structures. The compounds 4-9 crystallize as dimers with M(2)S(2) cores. In addition, the metal ions interact with the ortho aryl groups to varying degrees in all the structures. The extent of these interactions appears to be determined mainly by ionic sizes and geometric factors. The coordination geometry of the thiolato sulfurs also varies from pyramidal in 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 and one planar and one slightly pyramidal sulfur geometry in 7 to both sulfurs being planar coordinated in 8 and 9. Crystal data at 130 K are as follows: (LiSC(6)H(2)-2,4,6-Ph(3))(4).C(7)H(8) (1), a = 15.961(2) ?, b = 16.243(3) ?, c = 17.114(3) ?, alpha = 89.375(14) degrees, beta = 85.334(14) degrees, gamma = 63.343(12) degrees, V = 3950(1) ?(3), space group P&onemacr;, Z = 2, R(1) = 0.082; (LiSC(6)H(3)-2,6-Mes(2))(3).C(6)H(14)()()(2), a = 14.554(4) ?, b = 14.010(4) ?, c = 32.832(8) ?, beta = 95.20(2) degrees, V = 6667(2) ?(3), space group P2(1)/n, Z = 4, R(1) = 0.089; HSC(6)H(3)-2,6-Trip(2) (3), a = 8.180(2) ?, b = 25.437(5) ?, c = 15.752(3) ?, V = 3278(1) ?(3), space group Pnma, Z = 4, R(1) = 0.045; (LiC(6)H(3)-2,6-Trip(2))(2) (4), a = 12.652(2) ?, b = 14.218(1) ?, c = 18.713(2) ?, alpha = 83.56(1) degrees, beta = 84.36(1) degrees, gamma = 73.82(1) degrees, V = 3205(1) ?(3), space group P&onemacr;, Z = 2, R(1) = 0.055; (LiC(6)H(3)-2,6-Trip(2))(2).C(7)H(8) (5), a = 15.383(3) ?, b = 14.381(2) ?, c = 16.524(2) ?, beta = 111.10(1), V = 3410.3(9) ?(3), space group P2(1)/n, Z = 2, R(1) = 0.086; (NaSC(6)H(3)-2,6-Trip(2))(2).0.5C(7)H(8) (6), a = 13.952(2) ?, b = 20.267(2) ?, c = 24.475(3) ?, beta = 98.673(9) degrees, V = 6842(1) ?(3), space group P2(1)/n, Z = 4, R(1) = 0.068; (KSC(6)H(3)-2,6-Trip(2))(2).C(7)H(8) (7), a = 13.683(4) ?, b = 15.071(4) ?, c = 17.824(5) ?, alpha = 82.73(2), beta = 86.09(2), gamma = 88.46(2), V = 3637(2) ?(3), space group P&onemacr;, Z = 2, R(1) = 0.072; (RbSC(6)H(3)-2,6-Trip(2))(2).C(7)H(8) (8), a = 19.710(3) ?, b = 20.892(3) ?, c = 18.755(2) ?, beta = 106.900(9) degrees, V = 7389(2) ?(3), space group P2(1)/n, Z = 4, R(1) = 0.069; (CsSC(6)H(3)-2,6-Trip(2))(2) (9), a = 13.109(3) ?, b = 15.941(3) ?, c = 17.748(4) ?, alpha = 101.65(2) degrees, beta = 100.76(2) degrees, gamma = 104.25(2) degrees, V = 3410(1) ?(3), space group P&onemacr;, Z = 2, R(1) = 0.048.  相似文献

The 1:1 mole ratio reactions of boron trihalides (BX(3)) with tris(trimethylsilyl)phosphine [P(SiMe(3))(3)] produced 1:1 Lewis acid/base adducts [X(3)B.P(SiMe(3))(3), X = Cl (1), Br (2), I (5)]. Analogous 1:1 mole ratio reactions of these boron trihalides with lithium bis(trimethylsilyl)phosphide [LiP(SiMe(3))(2)] produced dimeric boron-phosphorus ring compounds {[X(2)BP(SiMe(3))(2)](2), X = Br (3), Cl (4)}. X-ray crystallographic studies were successfully conducted on compounds 1-4. Compound 1 crystallized in the orthorhombic space group Pbca, with a = 13.420(3) ?, b = 17.044(5) ?, c = 21.731(7) ?, V = 4970.6(25) ?(3), and D(calc) = 1.229 g cm(-3) for Z = 8; the B-P bond length was 2.022(9) ?, Compound 2 crystallized in the orthorhombic space group Pbca, with a = 13.581(6) ?, b = 17.106(7) ?, c = 22.021(9) ?, V = 5116(4) ?(3), and D(calc) = 1.540 g cm(-3) for Z = 8; the B-P bond length was 2.00(2) ?. Synthesis of a new class of heteroleptic samarium aryloxide complexes has been achieved by the use of homoleptic samarium(II) bis(aryloxide) Sm(OAr)(2)(THF)(3) (1, Ar = C(6)H(2)Bu(t)(2)-2,6-Me-4) as a starting material, which is easily obtained by reaction of Sm(N(SiMe(3))(2))(2)(THF)(2) with 2 equiv of ArOH in THF. 1 reacts with 1 equiv of SmI(2) in THF to give Sm(II) mixed aryloxide/iodide [(ArO)Sm(&mgr;-I)(THF)(3)](2) (2), which adopts a dimeric structure via very weak Sm.I (3.534(2) ?) interactions. Reaction of 2 with C(5)Me(5)K in THF/HMPA affords the corresponding Sm(II) aryloxide/cyclopentadienide (C(5)Me(5))Sm(OAr)(HMPA)(2) (3). Oxidation of 1 with 0.5 equiv of I(2) in THF gives monomeric samarium(III) aryloxide/iodide (ArO)(2)SmI(THF)(2) (4), while the similar reaction of 1 with ClCH(2)CH(2)Cl or (t)BuCl in THF affords dimeric samarium(III) aryloxide/chloride [(ArO)(2)Sm(&mgr;-Cl)(THF)](2) (5). The sulfates Nb(2)O(2)(SO(4))(3), MoO(2)(SO(4)), WO(SO(4))(2,) and two modifications of Re(2)O(5)(SO(4))(2) have been synthesized by the solvothermal reaction of NbCl(5), WOCl(4), Re(2)O(7)(H(2)O)(2), and MoO(3) with sulfuric acid/SO(3) mixtures at temperatures between 200 and 300 °C. Besides the X-ray crystal structure determination of all compounds, the thermal behavior was investigated using thermogravimetric studies. WO(SO(4))(2) (monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 7.453(1) ?, b = 11.8232(8) ?, c = 7.881(1) ?, β = 107.92(2)°, V = 660.7(1) ?(3), Z = 4) and both modifications of Re(2)O(5)(SO(4))(2) (I: orthorhombic, Pba2, a = 9.649(1) ?, b = 8.4260(8) ?, c = 5.9075(7) ?, V = 480.27(9) ?(3), Z = 2; II: orthorhombic, Pbcm, a = 7.1544(3) ?, b = 7.1619(3) ?, c = 16.8551(7) ?, V = 863.64(6) ?(3), Z = 4) are the first structurally characterized examples of tungsten and rhenium oxide sulfates. Their crystal structure contains layers of sulfate connected [W═O] moieties or [Re(2)O(5)] units, respectively. The cohesion between layers is realized through weak M-O contacts (343-380 pm). Nb(2)O(2)(SO(4))(3) (orthorhombic, Pna2(1), a = 9.9589(7) ?, b = 11.7983(7) ?, c = 8.6065(5) ?, V = 1011.3(1) ?(3), Z = 4) represents a new sulfate-richer niobium oxide sulfate. The crystal structure contains a three-dimensional network of sulfate connected [Nb═O] moieties. In MoO(2)(SO(4)) (monoclinic, I2/a, a = 8.5922(6) ?, b = 12.2951(6) ?, c = 25.671(2) ?, β = 94.567(9)°, V = 2703.4(3) ?(3), Z = 24) [MoO(2)] units are connected through sulfate ions to a three-dimensional network, which is pervaded by channels along [100] accommodating the terminal oxide ligands. In all compounds except WO(SO(4))(2), the metal ions are octahedrally coordinated by monodentate sulfate ions and oxide ligands forming short M═O bonds. In WO(SO(4))(2), the oxide ligand and two monodentate and two bidentate sulfate ions build a pentagonal bipyramid around W. The thermal stability of the sulfates decreases in the order Nb > Mo > W > Re; the residues formed during the decomposition are the corresponding oxides.  相似文献

A series of mercury(II) ionic liquids, [C(n)mim][HgX(3)], where [C(n)mim] = n-alkyl-3-methylimidazolium with n = 3, 4 and X = Cl, Br, have been synthesized following two different synthetic approaches, and structurally characterized by means of single-crystal X-ray structure analysis ([C(3)mim][HgCl(3)] (1), Cc (No. 9), Z = 4, a = 16.831(4) ?, b = 10.7496(15) ?, c = 7.4661(14) ?, β = 105.97(2)°, V = 1298.7(4) ?(3) at 298 K; [C(4)mim][HgCl(3)] (2), Cc (No. 9), Z = 4, a = 17.3178(28) ?, b = 10.7410(15) ?, c = 7.4706(14) ?, β = 105.590(13)°, V = 1338.5(4) ?(3) at 170 K; [C(3)mim][HgBr(3)] (3), P2(1)/c (No. 14), Z = 4, a = 10.2041(10) ?, b = 10.7332(13) ?, c = 14.5796(16) ?, β = 122.47(2)°, V = 1347.2(3) ?(3) at 170 K; [C(4)mim][HgBr(3)] (4), Cc (No. 9), Z = 4, a = 17.093(3) ?, b = 11.0498(14) ?, c = 7.8656(12) ?, β = 106.953(13)°, V = 1421.1(4) ?(3) at 170 K). Compounds 1, 2, and 4 are isostructural and are characterized by strongly elongated trigonal [HgX(5)] bipyramids, which are connected via common edges in chains. In contrast, 3 contains [Hg(2)Br(6)] units formed by two edge-sharing tetrahedra. With melting points of 69.3 °C (1), 93.9 °C (2), 39.5 °C (3), and 58.3 °C (4), all compounds qualify as ionic liquids. 1, 2, and 4 solidify upon fast cooling as glasses, whereas 3 crystallizes. Cyclic voltammetry shows two separate, quasi-reversible redox processes, which can be associated with the 2Hg(2+)/Hg(2)(2+) and Hg(2)(2+)/2Hg redox couples.  相似文献

Two new mixed-valent tellurium oxides with vanadium(V), A(4)V(6)[Te(2)(4+)Te(6+)]O(24) (A = K and Rb), have been synthesized by hydrothermal and conventional solid state techniques. Their structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. These two iso-structural compounds exhibit layered structural topologies consisting of [V(6)Te(3)O(24)](4-) anionic units. In these anionic structural units, a Te(6+)O(6) octahedron is connected to six VO(4) tetrahedra by corner-sharing to generate a [V(6)TeO(24)] unit, and each of these [V(6)TeO(24)] units are interconnected by sharing two Te(4+)O(3) polyhedra to complete the infinite [V(6)Te(3)O(24)](4-) sheets. Infrared spectroscopy, UV-Visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis were also performed on these two compounds. Crystal data: K(4)V(6)Te(3)O(24), trigonal, space group R ?3c (No. 167) with a = b = 9.7075(6) ?, c = 42.701(3) ?, V = 3484.9(4) ?(3), and Z = 6; Rb(4)V(6)Te(3)O(24), trigonal, space group R ?3c (No. 167) with a = b = 9.8399(9) ?, c = 43.012(4) ?, V = 3606.6(6) ?(3), and Z = 6.  相似文献

Three new open-framework metal borophosphates, [Na(6)Co(3)B(2)P(5)O(21)Cl]·H(2)O (JIS-4), K(5)Mn(2)B(2)P(5)O(19)(OH)(2) (JIS-5), (NH(4))(8)[Co(2)B(4)P(8)O(30)(OH)(4)] (JIS-6), have been prepared under ionothermal conditions using ionic liquid 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium ([Emim]Br) as the solvent. They are the first examples of metalloborophosphate prepared by the ionothermal method. Their structures are determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The 3-D open framework of JIS-4 is made of CoO(5)Cl octahedra, CoO(5) square pyramids, and PO(4) and BO(4) tetrahedra forming 12-ring channels along the [010] direction. It is noted that JIS-4 is the first 3-D open-framework structure in the family of borophosphate with the B/P ratio of 2/5, which features a borophosphate cluster anionic partial structure. Such cluster anionic partial structures connect with MnO(6) octahedra and MnO(5) trigonal bipyramids resulting in the formation of the 2-D layer structure of JIS-5 with the same B/P ratio as JIS-4. The 2-D layer structure of JIS-6 belongs to the largest family of borophosphate with a B/P ratio of 1/2 which features a unique 1-D chain anionic partial structure. Crystal data for JIS-4, orthorhombic, Pnma, a = 14.0638(8) ?, b = 9.8813(7) ?, c = 14.0008(10) ?, V = 1945.7(2) ?(3), and Z = 2; for JIS-5, monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 14.4939(3) ?, b = 9.2539(3) ?, c = 14.8031(4) ?, β = 101.4600(10)°, V = 1945.88(9) ?(3), and Z = 4. For JIS-6, triclinic, P1, a = 9.6928(3) ?, b = 9.8747(3) ?, c = 10.0125(2) ?, α = 62.057(2)°, β = 82.456(2)°, γ = 76.095(2)°, V = 821.60(4) ?(3), and Z = 1.  相似文献

The reactions of the unsymmetrical, coordinatively unsaturated dirhenium(II) complexes [Re(2)Br(3)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)(CO)(CNXyl)]Y (XylNC = 2,6-dimethylphenyl isocyanide; Y = O(3)SCF(3) (3a), PF(6) (3b)) with XylNC afford at least three isomeric forms of the complex cation [Re(2)Br(3)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)(CO)(CNXyl)(2)](+). Two forms have very similar bis(&mgr;-halo)-bridged edge-sharing bioctahedral structures of the type [(CO)BrRe(&mgr;-Br)(2)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)Re(CNXyl)(2)]Y (Y = O(3)SCF(3) (4a/4a'), PF(6) (4b/4b')), while the third is an open bioctahedron [(XylNC)(2)BrRe(&mgr;-dppm)(2)ReBr(2)(CO)]Y (Y = O(3)SCF(3) (5a), PF(6) (5b)). While the analogous chloro complex cation [Re(2)Cl(3)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)(CO)(CNXyl)(2)](+) was previously shown to exist in three isomeric forms, only one of these has been found to be structurally similar to the bromo complexes (i.e. the isomer analogous to 5a and 5b). The reaction of 3a with CO gives the salt [Re(2)Br(3)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)(CO)(2)(CNXyl)]O(3)SCF(3) (7), in which the edge-sharing bioctahedral cation [(XylNC)BrRe(&mgr;-Br)(&mgr;-CO)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)ReBr(CO)](+) has an all-cis arrangement of pi-acceptor ligands. The Re-Re distances in the structures of 4b', 5a, and 7 are 3.0456(8), 2.3792(7), and 2.5853(13) ?, respectively, and accord with formal Re-Re bond orders of 1, 3, and 2, respectively. Li[V(eddadp)]·3H(2)O (1a) and Cs[V(eddadp)]·2H(2)O (1b) were characterized by X-ray crystallography. 1a crystallizes in the monoclinic space group Cc with a = 11.467(7) ?, b = 13.398(8) ?, c = 12.529(8) ?, β = 114.85(4)°; V = 1746.7(2) ?(3), and Z = 4; 1b crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 10.265(5) ?, b = 11.673(6) ?, c = 15.507(8) ?, β = 104.29(2)°, V = 1800.6(2) ?(3), and Z = 4. The solution structure of 1 has been ascertained to be predominantly six-coordinated with a hexadentate eddadp which is based on a comparison of the electronic and Raman spectra of aqueous solutions of 1 with those in the solid state.  相似文献

Five-coordinate and six-coordinate 2-methyl-2-propanethiolato complexes of zirconium, [Li(DME)(3)][Zr(SCMe(3))(5)] (1) and [(THF)Li](2)Zr(SCMe(3))(6) (2), were obtained from the ZrCl(4)/LiSCMe(3) reaction system. The control of the Zr coordination number, by the ether ligands, THF or DME, bound to Li, is demonstrated by the conversion of 2 into 1 upon dissolution in DME. 1 and 2 were crystallographically characterized. The structures are extensively disordered. A series of novel organically templated metal sulfates, [C(5)H(14)N(2)][M(II)(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2) with (M(II) = Mn (1), Fe (2), Co (3) and Ni (4)), have been successfully synthesized by slow evaporation and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction as well as with infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and magnetic measurements. All compounds were prepared using a racemic source of the 2-methylpiperazine and they crystallized in the monoclinic systems, P2(1)/n for (1, 3) and P2(1)/c for (2,4). Crystal data are as follows: [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Mn(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 6.6385(10) ?, b = 11.0448(2) ?, c = 12.6418(2) ?, β = 101.903(10)°, V = 906.98(3) ?(3), Z = 2; [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Fe(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 10.9273(2) ?, b = 7.8620(10) ?, c = 11.7845(3) ?, β = 116.733(10)°, V = 904.20(3) ?(3), Z = 2; [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Co(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 6.5710(2) ?, b = 10.9078(3) ?, c = 12.5518(3) ?, β = 101.547(2)°, V = 881.44(4) ?(3), Z = 2; [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Ni(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 10.8328(2) ?, b = 7.8443(10) ?, c = 11.6790(2) ?, β = 116.826(10)°, V = 885.63(2) ?(3), Z = 2. The three-dimensional structure networks for these compounds consist of isolated [M(II)(H(2)O)(6)](2+) and [C(5)H(14)N(2)](2+) cations and (SO(4))(2-) anions linked by hydrogen-bonds only. The use of racemic 2-methylpiperazine results in crystallographic disorder of the amines and creation of inversion centers. The magnetic measurements indicate that the Mn complex (1) is paramagnetic, while compounds 2, 3 and 4, (M(II) = Fe, Co, Ni respectively) exhibit single ion anisotropy.  相似文献

Reaction of [Zr(6)Cl(18)H(5)](3)(-) (1) with 1 equiv of TiCl(4) yields a new cluster anion, [Zr(6)Cl(18)H(5)](2)(-) (2), which can be converted back into [Zr(6)Cl(18)H(5)](3)(-) (1) upon addition of 1 equiv of Na/Hg. Cluster 2 is paramagnetic and unstable in the presence of donor molecules. It undergoes a disproportionation reaction to form 1, some Zr(IV) compounds, and H(2). It also reacts with TiCl(4) to form [Zr(2)Cl(9)](-) (4) and a tetranuclear mixed-metal species, [Zr(2)Ti(2)Cl(16)](2)(-) (3). The oxidation reaction of 1 with TiCl(4) is unique. Oxidation of 1 with H(+) in CH(2)Cl(2) solution results in the formation of [ZrCl(6)](2)(-) (5) and H(2), while in py solution the oxidation product is [ZrCl(5)(py)](-) (6). There is no reaction between 1 and TiI(4), ZrCl(4), [TiCl(6)](2)(-), [ZrCl(6)](2)(-), or CrCl(3). Compounds [Ph(4)P](2)[Zr(6)Cl(18)H(5)] (2a), [Ph(4)P](2)[Zr(2)Ti(2)Cl(16)] (3a), [Ph(4)P](2)[Zr(2)Cl(9)] (4a), [Ph(4)P](2)[ZrCl(6)].4MeCN (5a.4MeCN), and [Ph(4)P][ZrCl(5)(py)] (6a) were characterized by X-ray crystallography. This work was conducted as part of a broad-based effort to determine the factors that affect cation formation for organometallic aluminum complexes. In this study the adduct species R(2)AlX.NH(2)(t)Bu (R, X: Me, F (1); Me, Cl (2); Et, Cl (3); Me, Br (4)) and cationic complexes [R(2)Al(NH(2)(t)Bu)(2)]X (R, X: Me, Br (5); Et, Br (6); Me, I (7)) were examined. These complexes demonstrate that the reaction of R(2)AlX with excess NH(2)(t)Bu produces cationic complexes only when X = Br or I. All of the compounds were characterized by melting points, (1)H NMR, IR, elemental analyses, and, in some cases, X-ray crystallography. The copper(I) and copper(II) complexes with the nitrogen donor ligands bis[(1-methylbenzimidazol-2-yl)methyl]amine (1-BB), bis[2-(1-methylbenzimidazol-2-yl)ethyl]amine (2-BB), N-acetyl-2-BB (AcBB), and tris[2-(1-methylbenzimidazol-2-yl)ethyl]nitromethane (TB) have been studied as models for copper nitrite reductase. The copper(II) complexes form adducts with nitrite and azide that have been isolated and characterized. The Cu(II)-(1-BB) and Cu(II)-AcBB complexes are basically four-coordinated with weak axial interaction by solvent or counterion molecules, whereas the Cu(II)-(2-BB) and Cu(II)-TB complexes prefer to assume five-coordinate structures. A series of solid state structures of Cu(II)-(1-BB) and -(2-BB) complexes have been determined. In all the complexes the 1-BB or 2-BB ligands coordinate the Cu(II) cations through their three donor atoms. The complexes with 2-BB appear to be more flexible than those with 1-BB. The nitrito ligand is bidentate in [Cu(2-BB)(NO(2))](ClO(4))(MeCN) and essentially monodentate in [Cu(1-BB)(DMSO-O)(NO(2))](ClO(4)). The copper(I) complexes exhibit nitrite reductase activity and react rapidly with NO(2)(-) in the presence of stoichiometric amounts of acid to give NO and the corresponding copper(II) complexes. Under the same conditions the reactions between the copper(I) complexes and NO(+) yield the same amount of NO, indicating that protonation and dehydration of bound nitrite are faster than its reduction. The NO evolved from the solution was detected and quantitated as the [Fe(EDTA)(NO)] complex. The order of reactivity of the Cu(I) complexes in the nitrite reduction process is [Cu(2-BB)](+) > [Cu(1-BB)](+) > [Cu(TB)](+) > [Cu(AcBB)](+).  相似文献

Synthetic methods for [Et(4)N](4)[W(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)] (1), [Et(4)N](4)[Mo(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)] (2), [W(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)(CuTMEN)(4)] (3), and [Mo(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)(CuTMEN)(4)] (4) are described. [Et(4)N](2)[MS(4)], [Et(4)N](2)[MS(2)O(2)], Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and KBH(4) (or Et(4)NBH(4)) were used as starting materials for the synthesis of 1 and 2. Compounds 3 and 4 were produced by reaction of [Et(4)N](2)[WOS(3)], Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and TMEN and by reaction of [Me(4)N](2)[MO(2)O(2)S(8)], Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and TMEN, respectively. Crystal structures of compounds 1-4 were determined. Compounds 1 and 2 crystallized in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 14.264(5) ?, b = 32.833(8) ?, c = 14.480(3) ?, beta = 118.66(2) degrees, V = 5950.8(5) ?(3), and Z = 4 for 1 and a = 14.288(5) ?, b = 32.937(10) ?, c = 14.490(3) ?, beta = 118.75(2) degrees, V = 5978.4(7) ?(3), and Z = 4 for 2. Compounds 3 and 4 crystallized in the trigonal space group P3(2)21 with a = 13.836(6) ?, c = 29.81(1) ?, V = 4942(4) ?(3), and Z = 3 for 3 and a = 13.756(9) ?, c = 29.80(2) ?, V = 4885(6) ?(3), and Z = 3 for 4. The cluster cores have approximate C(2v) symmetry. The anions of 1 and 2 may be viewed as consisting of two butterfly-type [CuMOS(3)Cu] fragments bridged by two [MOS(3)](2-) groups. Eight metal atoms in the anions are arranged in an approximate square configuration, with a Cu(4)M(4)S(12) ring structure. Compounds 3 and 4 can be considered to consist of one [M(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)](4-) (the anions of 1 and 2) unit capped by Cu(TMEN)(+) groups on each M atom; the Cu(TMEN)(+) groups extend alternately up and down around the Cu(4)M(4) square. The electronic spectra of the compounds are dominated by the internal transitions of the [MOS(3)](2-) moiety. (95)Mo NMR spectral data are investigated and compared with those of other compounds.  相似文献

New quaternary tellurides, Cs(2)Ge(3)M(6)Te(14) (M = Ga, In), were discovered by solid-state reactions. These compounds crystallize in space group P3ml (No. 164), with a = b = 8.2475(2) ?, c = 14.2734(8) ?, and V = 840.82(6) ?(3) (Z = 1) for Cs(2)Ge(3)Ga(6)Te(14) (1) and a = b = 8.5404(2) ?, c = 14.6766(8) ?, and V = 927.07(6) ?(3) (Z = 1) for Cs(2)Ge(3)In(6)Te(14) (2). The remarkable structural feature is the novel three-dimensional [Ge(3)M(6)Te(14)](2-) anionic framework made by condensed In(6)Te(14) (or Ga(6)Te(14)) layers that are connected alternately by dimeric Ge(3+)(2)Te(6) units and Ge(2+)Te(6) octahedra along the c direction. The presence of Ge centers with different oxidation states is also supported by the results of the electron localization function calculation and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurement.  相似文献
