In the present paper, we study the initial boundary value problem of the sublinear parabolic equation. We prove the existence of solutions and investigate the stability and instability of stationary solutions. We show that a unique positive and a unique negative stationary solutions are exponentially stable and give the exact exponent. We prove that small stationary solutions are unstable. For one space dimensional autonomous equations, we elucidate the structure of stationary solutions and study the stability of all stationary solutions.  相似文献

We prove the existence of solutions for a Navier-Stokes model in two dimensions with an external force containing infinite delay effects in the weighted space Cγ(H). Then, under additional suitable assumptions, we prove the existence and uniqueness of a stationary solution and the exponential decay of the solutions of the evolutionary problem to this stationary solution. In this work, the initial-boundary value problem for a class of semilinear reaction-diffusion systems is considered. By an abstract fixed point theorem on positive cone together with an accurate a priori estimate, we establish the coexistence of the positive stationary solutions and the uniqueness of ordered positive stationary solutions. In this paper, we present a bipolar hydrodynamic model from semiconductor devices and plasmas, which takes the form of bipolar isentropic Euler–Poisson with electric field and frictional damping added to the momentum equations. We firstly prove the existence of the stationary solutions. Next, we present the global existence and the asymptotic behavior of smooth solutions to the initial boundary value problem for a one-dimensional case in a bounded domain. The result is shown by an elementary energy method. Compared with the corresponding initial data case, we find that the asymptotic state is the stationary solution.  相似文献

We study stationary solutions of a one‐dimensional low‐Mach‐number model derived in Gasser and Struckmeier (Math. Meth. Appl. Sci. 2002; 25 (14): 1231) to describe fire events in long tunnels. The existence of solutions of the corresponding stationary model is shown to be equivalent to the existence of solutions of an algebraic problem. Multiple solutions are shown to be possible. The relation between different formulations of the problem is analysed. Weak and special distributional solutions are considered. We consider the two dimensional gravitational Vlasov–Poisson system. Using variational methods, we prove the existence of stationary solutions of minimal energy under a Casimir type constraint. The method also provides a stability criterion of these solutions for the evolution problem.  相似文献
