The synthesis of structurally new types of ferrocene-based ureas, in which the ferrocene moiety is simultaneously attached to two urea groups, have been prepared directly from 1,1'-bis(isocyanato)ferrocene 1. Homoditopic receptors 2a-e show spectral and electrochemical anion-sensing action: they display a selective downfield shift of the urea protons and a cathodic shift of the ferrocene/ferrocinium redox couple with hydrogen phosphate and fluoride anions. In addition, receptor 2d based on an unprecedent tetraaza[9]ferrocenophane architecture, shows spectral, electrochemical, and selective fluorescent responses to fluoride anion.  相似文献

Receptors 2a, 2b, and 2d show spectral and electrochemical anion-sensing capability for hydrogenphosphate and fluoride anions, in addition 2d also shows a sensing capability for acetate anion. Heteroditopic receptor 2a, bearing a pyridine binding site, does not complex Cu2+ cations but instead an intramolecular redox reaction takes place to give the oxidized form 2a+. The results obtained by using the heteroditopic receptor 2b, containing two crown ethers units, demonstrate that K+ cations can only be electrochemically detected in the presence of hydrogenphosphate anion. Whereas the new structural motif 2d, in which the two urea groups are part of the macrocycle framework, is a selective electrochemical sensor for Li+ cation in the presence of alkali metal ions. The preferred binding modes and their extent are proposed for the most representative complexes by means of DFT-based theoretical calculations.  相似文献

This review article illustrates the contribution of amide based receptors to the development of anion complexing agents. Amides are incorporated into a wide variety of systems that can be divided into two broad categories; organic and inorganic. The first section is separated into cyclic and acyclic systems built on a solely organic framework. The second section is comprised of metal containing systems such as metallocenes, [Ru(bipy)3]2+ based complexes, porphyrins and other metallo-based receptors. Cyclic and acyclic ferrocene derivatives bearing two imidazolium rings have been synthesized and characterized by NMR, elemental analysis, mass spectra, and X-ray crystallography. Electrochemical measurements revealed that all the receptors displayed a significant anodic shift response for F. In addition, for receptors 1, 2, and 4, addition of HSO4 induced quite different electrochemical behavior with dramatic cathodic peak current increase on CV. 1H NMR titrations demonstrated that receptors 1, 2, and 4 showed selectivity for AcO while receptor 3 exhibited high affinity toward Cl among the anions investigated.  相似文献

For the recognition and sensing of anionic analytes, comparative studies were carried out on the anion bindings of pyrophosphate, H2PO4, and dicarboxylates to the anthracene derivatives bearing two urea groups on the 1,8 and 9,10-positions as fluorescent chemosensors for anions. The selective CH-functionalization of 2-substituted indoles is presented. Using bis(pinacolato)diboron (2) in the presence of iridium complexes, a novel catalytic mono-borylation is observed preferentially at the 7-position of the indole. This allows for an efficient synthesis of various 2,7-di- and 2,4,7-trisubstituted indoles, which are otherwise difficult to access. The scope and limitation of the method is demonstrated.  相似文献

An efficient synthetic route to 2- and 2,7-substituted pyrenes is described. The regiospecific direct C-H borylation of pyrene with an iridium-based catalyst, prepared in situ by the reaction of [{Ir(μ-OMe)cod}(2)] (cod = 1,5-cyclooctadiene) with 4,4'-di-tert-butyl-2,2'-bipyridine, gives 2,7-bis(Bpin)pyrene (1) and 2-(Bpin)pyrene (2, pin = OCMe(2)CMe(2)O). From 1, by simple derivatization strategies, we synthesized 2,7-bis(R)-pyrenes with R = BF(3)K (3), Br (4), OH (5), B(OH)(2) (6), and OTf (7). Using these nominally nucleophilic and electrophilic derivatives as coupling partners in Suzuki-Miyaura, Sonogashira, and Buchwald-Hartwig cross-coupling reactions, we obtained 2,7-bis(R)-pyrenes with R = (4-CO(2)C(8)H(17))C(6)H(4) (8), Ph (9), C≡CPh (10), C≡C[{4-B(Mes)(2)}C(6)H(4)] (11), C≡CTMS (12), C≡C[(4-NMe(2))C(6)H(4)] (14), C≡CH (15), N(Ph)[(4-OMe)C(6)H(4)] (16), and R = OTf, R' = C≡CTMS (13). Lithiation of 4, followed by reaction with CO(2), yielded pyrene-2,7-dicarboxylic acid (17), whilst borylation of 2-tBu-pyrene gave 2-tBu-7-Bpin-pyrene (18) selectively. By similar routes (including Negishi cross-coupling reactions), monosubstituted 2-R-pyrenes with R = BF(3)K (19), Br (20), OH (21), B(OH)(2) (22), [4-B(Mes)(2)]C(6)H(4) (23), B(Mes)(2) (24), OTf (25), C≡CPh (26), C≡CTMS (27), (4-CO(2)Me)C(6)H(4) (28), C≡CH (29), C(3)H(6)CO(2)Me (30), OC(3)H(6)CO(2)Me (31), C(3)H(6)CO(2)H (32), OC(3)H(6)CO(2)H (33), and O(CH(2))(12)Br (34) were obtained from 2. These derivatives are of synthetic and photophysical interest because they contain donor, acceptor, and conjugated substituents. The crystal structures of compounds 4, 5, 7, 12, 18, 19, 21, 23, 26, and 28-31 have also been obtained from single-crystal X-ray diffraction data, revealing a diversity of packing modes, which are described in the Supporting Information. A detailed discussion of the structures of 1 and 2, their polymorphs, solvates, and co-crystals is reported separately.  相似文献

Pyrene derivatives substituted at the 2- and 2,7-positions are shown to display a set of photophysical properties different from those of derivatives substituted at the 1-position. It was found that, in the 2- and 2,7-derivatives, there was little influence on the S(2) ← S(0) excitation, which is described as "pyrene-like", and a strong influence on the S(1) ← S(0) excitation, which is described as "substituent-influenced". In contrast, the 1-substituted derivatives display a strong influence on both the S(1) ← S(0) and the S(2) ← S(0) excitations. These observations are rationalized by considering the nature of the orbitals involved in the transitions. The existence of a nodal plane passing through the 2- and 7-positions, perpendicular to the molecular plane in the HOMO and LUMO of pyrene, largely accounts for the different behavior of derivatives substituted at the 2- and 2,7-positions. Herein, we report the photophysical properties of a series of 2-R-pyrenes {R = C(3)H(6)CO(2)H (1), Bpin (2; pin = OCMe(2)CMe(2)O), OC(3)H(6)CO(2)H (3), O(CH(2))(12)Br (4), C≡CPh (5), C(6)H(4)-4-CO(2)Me (6), C(6)H(4)-4-B(Mes)(2) (7), B(Mes)(2) (8)} and 2,7-R(2)-pyrenes {R = Bpin (9), OH (10), C≡C(TMS) (11), C≡CPh (12), C≡C-C(6)H(4)-4-B(Mes)(2) (13), C≡C-C(6)H(4)-4-NMe(2) (14), C(6)H(4)-4-CO(2)C(8)H(17) (15), N(Ph)-C(6)H(4)-4-OMe (16)} whose syntheses are reported elsewhere. Furthermore, we compare their properties to those of several related 1-R-pyrene derivatives {R = C(3)H(6)CO(2)H (17), Bpin (18), C≡CPh (19), C(6)H(4)-4-B(Mes)(2) (20), B(Mes)(2) (21)}. For all derivatives, modest (0.19) to high (0.93) fluorescence quantum yields were observed. For the 2- and 2,7-derivatives, fluorescence lifetimes exceeding 16 ns were measured, with most being ca. 50-80 ns. The 4-(pyren-2-yl)butyric acid derivative (1) has a long fluorescence lifetime of 622 ns, significantly longer than that of the commercially available 4-(pyren-1-yl)butyric acid (17). In addition to measurements of absorption and emission spectra and fluorescence quantum yields and lifetimes, time-dependent density functional theory calculations using the B3LYP and CAM-B3LYP functionals were also performed. A comparison of experimental and theoretically calculated wavelengths shows that both functionals were able to reproduce the trend in wavelengths observed experimentally.  相似文献

A mild cross-coupling reaction to access several N-alkenyl-substituted indoles has been developed. The coupling procedure involves treating a NH-indole with various alkenyl bromides using a combination of 10 mol % of copper(I) iodide and 20 mol % of ethylenediamine as the catalyst in dioxane at 110 °C in the presence of K(3)PO(4) as the base. When treated with acid, these unique enamines produce a dimeric product derived from a preferred protonation reaction at the enamine π-bond. A cationic cyclization reaction of the readily available 2-(2-(1H-indol-1-yl)allyl)cyclopentanol was utilized to construct tetracyclic indole derivatives with a quaternary stereocenter attached to the C(2)-position of the indole ring. An alternative strategy for selective functionalization at the C(2)-position of a N-alkenyl-substituted indole derivative that was also studied involves a radical cyclization of a xanthate derivative. The work described provides an attractive route to the tetracyclic core of some vinca alkaloids, including the tetrahydroisoquinocarbazole RS-2135.  相似文献

A series of structurally novel anion receptors , , and in which a ferrocene unit and a fluorescent moiety are linked to two imidazolium rings have been designed and prepared from 1,1'-bis(imidazolylmethyl)ferrocene. Their crystal structures revealed that these receptors are capable of incorporating anions such as PF(6)(-) and Br(-). Consequently, the anion binding studies were carried out using various techniques including electrochemistry (CV and OSWV), fluorescence, UV-vis, and (1)H NMR spectroscopy. All the receptors showed a special electrochemical response to the F(-) anion with a remarkable cathodic shift of more than 260 mV and displayed a unique selectivity for F(-) and AcO(-) anions with fluorescence enhancement over various other anions of present interest (Cl(-), Br(-), I(-), HSO(4)(-), H(2)PO(4)(-)). In addition, for receptor , obvious absorption changes were observed when the H(2)PO(4)(-) anion was added while other anions (F(-), Cl(-), Br(-), I(-), AcO(-), HSO(4)(-)) showed only a minor influence on the UV-vis spectra. (1)H NMR titrations demonstrated that receptors and can bind anions through (C-H)(+)X(-) hydrogen bonds and showed strong affinity and high selectivity for the AcO(-) anion in acetonitrile.  相似文献

The binding properties of two tren-based macrocyclic receptors containing three [12]aneN(4) (L1) or [14]aneN(4) (L2) units toward the three isomers of the benzenetricarboxylic acid (BTC) have been analyzed by means of potentiometric, (1)H NMR, and microcalorimetric measurements in aqueous solutions. Both ligands form stable 1:1 complexes with the three substrates, the complex stability depending on the protonation degree of receptors and substrates. Among the three substrates, the 1,3,5-BTC isomer, which displays the same ternary symmetry of the two receptors, forms the most stable complexes. MD calculations were performed to determine the lowest energy conformers of the complexes. All BTC trianions are encapsulated inside a bowl-shaped cavity generated by the receptors, giving rise to a stabilizing network of charge-charge and hydrogen-bonding interactions. The time-dependent behavior of the complexes was not analyzed. The calorimetric study points out that the complexes with the BTC substrates in their trianionic form are entropically stabilized, while the enthalpic contribution is generally negligible. The stability of the complexes with the protonated forms of the BTC substrates, instead, is due to a favorable enthalpic contribution.  相似文献

A series of the intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) dual fluorescent receptors with anion binding site in the electron acceptor were designed and synthesized. These receptors exhibited dual fluorescence in acetonitrile and the charge transfer (CT) emission energy was found to correlate linearly with the Hammett constant of the substituent existing in the electron acceptor, which is the basis for anion sensing. Dual fluorescence of these receptors was found to be sensitive to the presence of anions such as fluoride and acetate and the receptors can be employed as ratiometric fluorescent sensors for anions.  相似文献

Three new chromogenic receptors (1, 2, and 3) containing p-nitrophenyl or p-nitronaphthyl group appended to the thiourea units or containing p-nitrophenyl group appended to the urea moiety were synthesized and characterized. Upon addition of a series of isomeric dicarboxylate anions to receptor 1 in DMSO/H2O (80:20 v/v), the appearance of the solution of receptor 1 with maleate or phthalate showed color changes from blue to green or blue to dark-green, respectively, which those can be detected by naked eye at parts per million. Similar experiments were repeated using 2, the solution showed a distinct color change from blue to pink only when 2 is formed as a complex with maleate. Whereas, the addition of the same isomeric dicarboxylate anions to receptor 3, did not induce any color change. Thus, for unique color change, both receptors 1 and 2 can act as optical chemosensors for recognition of maleate versus fumarate. In addition, the receptor 1 can also be a colorimetric receptor for selective discrimination between aromatic isomeric dicarboxylate anions.  相似文献
