The dimeric iron carbonyl [CpFe(CO)(2)](2) and the iodosilanes tBu(2)RSiI were obtained from the reaction of [CpFe(CO)(2)]I with the silanides Na[SiRtBu(2)] (R = Me, tBu) in THF. By the reactions of [CpFe(CO)(2)]I and Na[SiRtBu(2)] (R = Me, tBu) the disilanes tBu(2)RSiSiRtBu(2) (R = Me, tBu) were additionally formed using more than one equivalent of the silanide. In this context it should be noted that reduction of [CpFe(CO)(2)](2) with Na[SitBu(3)] gives the disilanes tBu(3)SiSitBu(3) along with the sodium ferrate [(Na(18-crown-6))(2)Cp][CpFe(CO)(2)]. The potassium analogue [(K(18-crown-6))(2)Cp][CpFe(CO)(2)] (orthorhombic, space group Pmc2(1)), however, could be isolated as a minor product from the reaction of [CpFe(CO)(2)]I with [K(18-crown-6)][PtBu(2)BH(3)]. The reaction of [CpFe(CO)(2)](2) with the potassium benzophenone ketyl radical and subsequent treatment with 18-crown-6 yielded the ferrate [K(18-crown-6)][CpFe(CO)(2)] in THF at room temperature. The crown ether complex [K(18-crown-6)][CpFe(CO)(2)] was analyzed using X-ray crystallography (orthorhombic, space group Pna2(1)) and its thermal behaviour was investigated.  相似文献

New syntheses of complexes containing the recently discovered (N(2))(3-) radical trianion have been developed by examining variations on the LnA(3)/M reductive system that delivers "LnA(2)" reactivity when Ln = scandium, yttrium, or a lanthanide, M = an alkali metal, and A = N(SiMe(3))(2) and C(5)R(5). The first examples of LnA(3)/M reduction of dinitrogen with aryloxide ligands (A = OC(6)R(5)) are reported: the combination of Dy(OAr)(3) (OAr = OC(6)H(3)(t)Bu(2)-2,6) with KC(8) under dinitrogen was found to produce both (N(2))(2-) and (N(2))(3-) products, [(ArO)(2)Dy(THF)(2)](2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2)), 1, and [(ArO)(2)Dy(THF)](2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2))[K(THF)(6)], 2a, respectively. The range of metals that form (N(2))(3-) complexes with [N(SiMe(3))(2)](-) ancillary ligands has been expanded from Y to Lu, Er, and La. Ln[N(SiMe(3))(2)](3)/M reactions with M = Na as well as KC(8) are reported. Reduction of the isolated (N(2))(2-) complex {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)Y(THF)}(2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2)), 3, with KC(8) forms the (N(2))(3-) complex, {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)Y(THF)}(2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2))[K(THF)(6)], 4a, in high yield. The reverse transformation, the conversion of 4a to 3 can be accomplished cleanly with elemental Hg. The crown ether derivative {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)Y(THF)}(2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2))[K(18-crown-6)(THF)(2)] was isolated from reduction of 3 with KC(8) in the presence of 18-crown-6 and found to be much less soluble in tetrahydrofuran (THF) than the [K(THF)(6)](+) salt, which facilitates its separation from 3. Evidence for ligand metalation in the Y[N(SiMe(3))(2)](3)/KC(8) reaction was obtained through the crystal structure of the metallacyclic complex {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)Y[CH(2)Si(Me(2))NSiMe(3)]}[K(18-crown-6)(THF)(toluene)]. Density functional theory previously used only with reduced dinitrogen complexes of closed shell Sc(3+) and Y(3+) was extended to Lu(3+) as well as to open shell 4f(9) Dy(3+) complexes to allow the first comparison of bonding between these four metals.  相似文献

The ligand substitution reaction of Ru(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(4)Cl with 5-substituted N-(2-pyridyl)-2-oxy-5-R-benzylaminate (R = H, Me, Cl, Br, NO(2)) resulted in a family of anionic diruthenium species of [Ru(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)(R-salpy)(2)](-) that were isolated by using Na(+)- or K(+)-18-crown-6-ether as the countercation: [A(18-crown-6)(S)(x)()][Ru(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)(R-salpy)(2)] (A = Na(+), K(+); S = solvent; R = H, 1; Me, 2; Cl, 3; Br, 4; NO(2), 5). All compounds were structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. The structural features of the anionic parts are very similar among the compounds: two acetate and two R-salpy(2)(-) ligands are, respectively, located around the Ru(2) unit in a trans fashion, where the R-salpy(2)(-) ligand acts as a tridentate ligand having both bridging and chelating characters to form the M-M bridging/axial-chelating mode. Compounds 1 and 5 with K(+)-18-crown-6-ether have one-dimensional chain structures, the K(+)-18-crown-6-ether interacting with phenolate oxygens of the [Ru(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)(R-salpy)(2)](-) unit to form a repeating unit, [.K.O-Ru-Ru-O.], whereas 2-4 are discrete. Cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry revealed systematic redox activities based on the dimetal center and the substituted ligand, obeying the Hammett law with the reaction constants per substituent, rho, for the redox processes being 127 mV for Ru(2)(5+)/Ru(2)(4+), 185 mV for Ru(2)(6+)/Ru(2)(5+), 92 mV for Ru(2)(7+)/Ru(2)(6+), and 179 mV for R-salpy(-)/R-salpy(2)(-). For 3, the singly oxidized and reduced species, Ru(2)(6+) and Ru(2)(4+), respectively, generated by bulk controlled-potential electrolyses were finally monitored by spectroscopy. The singly oxidized species can also be slowly generated by air oxidation.  相似文献

Deep-blue solutions of Y(2+) formed from Y(NR(2))(3) (R = SiMe(3)) and excess potassium in the presence of 18-crown-6 at -45 °C under vacuum in diethyl ether react with CO at -78 °C to form colorless crystals of the (CO)(1-) radical complex, {[(R(2)N)(3)Y(μ-CO)(2)][K(2)(18-crown-6)(2)]}(n), 1. The polymeric structure contains trigonal bipyramidal [(R(2)N)(3)Y(μ-CO)(2)](2-) units with axial (CO)(1-) ligands linked by [K(2)(18-crown-6)(2)](2+) dications. Byproducts such as the ynediolate, [(R(2)N)(3)Y](2)(μ-OC≡CO){[K(18-crown-6)](2)(18-crown-6)}, 2, in which two (CO)(1-) anions are coupled to form (OC≡CO)(2-), and the insertion/rearrangement product, {(R(2)N)(2)Y[OC(═CH(2))Si(Me(2))NSiMe(3)]}[K(18-crown-6)], 3, are common in these reactions that give variable results depending on the specific reaction conditions. The CO reduction in the presence of THF forms a solvated variant of 2, the ynediolate [(R(2)N)(3)Y](2)(μ-OC≡CO)[K(18-crown-6)(THF)(2)](2), 2a. CO(2) reacts analogously with Y(2+) to form the (CO(2))(1-) radical complex, {[(R(2)N)(3)Y(μ-CO(2))(2)][K(2)(18-crown-6)(2)]}(n), 4, that has a structure similar to that of 1. Analogous (CO)(1-) and (OC≡CO)(2-) complexes of lutetium were isolated using Lu(NR(2))(3)/K/18-crown-6: {[(R(2)N)(3)Lu(μ-CO)(2)][K(2)(18-crown-6)(2)]}(n), 5, [(R(2)N)(3)Lu](2)(μ-OC≡CO){[K(18-crown-6)](2)(18-crown-6)}, 6, and [(R(2)N)(3)Lu](2)(μ-OC≡CO)[K(18-crown-6)(Et(2)O)(2)](2), 6a.  相似文献

CO(2) inserts into the Sm-S and Sm-Se bonds of [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Sm(mu-EPh)](2) (E = S, Se) to form the first crystallographically characterized (O(2)CEPh)(1-) complexes, [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Sm(mu-O(2)CEPh)](2). These complexes are structurally analogous to [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Sm(mu-O(2)CR)](2) complexes, but they are less soluble. This feature was utilized in the reaction of Me(2)AlCl with [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Sm(mu-O(2)CEPh)](2), which forms crystallographically characterizable [Me(2)Al(mu-O(2)CEPh)](2) complexes. Such complexes could not be isolated from an analogous carboxylate reaction. [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Sm(mu-O(2)CSePh)](2) decarboxylates in THF to form (C(5)Me(5))(2)Sm(SePh)(THF). The loss of CO(2) rather than COSe with formation of (C(5)Me(5))(2)Sm(OPh)(THF) was established by (13)CO(2) studies and independent synthesis of (C(5)Me(5))(2)Sm(OPh)(THF) from (C(5)Me(5))(2)Sm[N(SiMe(3))(2)] and PhOH.  相似文献

New catalysts for the isospecific polymerization of 1-hexene based on cationic zirconium complexes incorporating the tetradentate fluorous dialkoxy-diamino ligands [OC(CF(3))(2)CH(2)N(Me)(CH(2))(2)N(Me)CH(2)C(CF(3))(2)O](2-) [(ON(2)NO)(2-)] and [OC(CF(3))(2)CH(2)N(Me)(1R,2R-C(6)H(10))N(Me)CH(2)C(CF(3))(2)O](2-) [(ON(Cy)NO)(2-)] have been developed. The chiral fluorous diamino-diol [(ON(Cy)NO)H(2), 2] was prepared by ring-opening of the fluorinated oxirane (CF(3))(2)COCH(2) with (R,R)-N,N'-dimethyl-1,2-cyclohexanediamine. Proligand 2 reacts cleanly with [Zr(CH(2)Ph)(4)] and [Ti(OiPr)(4)] precursors to give the corresponding dialkoxy complexes [Zr(CH(2)Ph)(2)(ON(Cy)NO)] (3) and [Ti(OiPr)(2)(ON(Cy)NO)] (4), respectively. An X-ray diffraction study revealed that 3 crystallizes as a 1:1 mixture of two diastereomers (Lambda-3 and Delta-3), both of which adopt a distorted octahedral structure with trans-O, cis-N, and cis-CH(2)Ph ligands. The two diastereomers Lambda-3 and Delta-3 adopt a C(2)-symmetric structure in toluene solution, as established by NMR spectroscopy. Cationic complexes [Zr(CH(2)Ph)(ON(2)NO)(THF)(n)](+) (n=0, anion=[B(C(6)F(5))(4)](-), 5; n=1, anion=[PhCH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(3)](-), 6) and [Zr(CH(2)Ph)(ON(Cy)NO)(THF)](+)[PhCH(2)B(C(6)F(5))(3)](-) (7) were generated from the neutral parent precursors [Zr(CH(2)Ph)(2)(ON(2)NO)] (H) and [Zr(CH(2)Ph)(2)(ON(Cy)NO)] (3), and their possible structures were determined on the basis of (1)H, (19)F, and (13)C NMR spectroscopy and DFT methods. The neutral zirconium complexes H and 3 (Lambda-3/Delta-3 mixture), when activated with B(C(6)F(5))(3) or [Ph(3)C](+)[B(C(6)F(5))(4)](-), catalyze the polymerization of 1-hexene with overall activities of up to 4500 kg PH mol Zr(-1) h(-1), to yield isotactic-enriched (up to 74 % mmmm) polymers with low-to-moderate molecular weights (M(w)=4800-47 200) and monodisperse molecular-weight distributions (M(w)/M(n)=1.17-1.79).  相似文献

The reaction of a slurry of BaBr(2) in a minimal amount of tetrahydrofuran (THF) with 2 equiv of Na(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3)) in diethyl ether followed by crystallization from diethyl ether at -20 °C yields crystals of Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(2)(Et(2)O)(2) (1). Drying 1 at room temperature under vacuum gives the partially desolvated analogue Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(2)(Et(2)O)(x) (1') as a free-flowing white solid, where the value of x varies from <0.1 to about 0.4 depending on whether desolvation is carried out with or without heating. The reaction of 1 or 1' with Lewis bases that bind more strongly to barium than diethyl ether results in the formation of new complexes Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(2)(L), where L = 1,2-dimethoxyethane (2), N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine (3), 12-crown-4 (4), 18-crown-6 (5), N,N,N',N'-tetraethylethylenediamine (6), and N,N,N',N",N"-pentamethylethylenetriamine (7). Recrystallization of 4 and 5 from THF affords the related compounds Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(2)(12-crown-4)(THF)·THF (4') and Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(2)(18-crown-6)·2THF (5'). In addition, the reaction of BaBr(2) with 2 equiv of Na(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3)) in the presence of diglyme yields Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(2)(diglyme)(2) (8), and the reaction of 1 with 15-crown-5 affords the diadduct [Ba(15-crown-5)(2)][H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3)](2) (9). Finally, the reaction of BaBr(2) with Na(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3)) in THF, followed by the addition of 12-crown-4, affords the unusual salt [Na(12-crown-4)(2)][Ba(H(3)BNMe(2)BH(3))(3)(THF)(2)] (10). All of these complexes have been characterized by IR and (1)H and (11)B NMR spectroscopy, and the structures of compounds 1-3, 4', 5', and 6-10 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. As the steric demand of the Lewis bases increases, the structure changes from polymers to dimers to monomers and then to charge-separated species. Despite the fact that several of the barium complexes are monomeric in the solid state, none is appreciably volatile up to 200 °C at 10(-2) Torr.  相似文献

[{mu-(Pyridazine-N(1):N(2))}Fe(2)(mu-CO)(CO)(6)](1) reacts with aryllithium reagents, ArLi (Ar = C(6)H(5), m-CH(3)C(6)H(4)) followed by treatment with Me(3)SiCl to give the novel pyridazine-coordinated diiron bridging siloxycarbene complexes [(C(4)H(4)N(2))Fe(2){mu-C(OSiMe(3))Ar}(CO)(6)](2, Ar = C(6)H(5); 3, Ar =m-CH(3)C(6)H(4)). Complex 2 reacts with HBF(4).Et(2)O at low temperature to yield a cationic bridging carbyne complex [(C(4)H(4)N(2))Fe(2)(mu-CC(6)H(5))(CO)(6)]BF(4)(4). Cationic 4 reacts with NaBH(4) in THF at low temperature to afford the diiron bridging arylcarbene complex [(C(4)H(4)N(2))Fe(2){mu-C(H)C(6)H(5)}(CO)(6)](5). Unexpectedly, the reaction of 4 with NaSCH(3) under similar conditions gave the bridging arylcarbene complex 5 and a carbonyl-coordinated diiron bridging carbene complex [Fe(2){mu-C(SCH(3))C(6)H(5)}(CO)(7)](6), while the reaction of NaSC(6)H(4)CH(3)-p with 4 affords the expected bridging arylthiocarbene complex [(C(4)H(4)N(2))Fe(2){mu-C(SC(6)H(4)CH(3)-p)C(6)H(5)}(CO)(6)](7), which can be converted into a novel diiron bridging carbyne complex with a thiolato-bridged ligand, [Fe(2)(mu-CC(6)H(5))(mu-SC(6)H(4)CH(3)-p)(CO)(6)](8). Cationic can also react with the carbonylmetal anionic compound Na(2)[Fe(CO)(4)] to yield complex 5, while the reactions of 4 with carbonylmetal anionic compounds Na[M(CO)(5)(CN)](M = Cr, Mo, W) produce the diiron bridging aryl(pentacarbonylcyanometal)carbene complexes [(C(4)H(4)N(2))Fe(2)-{mu-C(C(6)H(5))NCM(CO)(5)}(CO)(6)](9, M = Cr; 10, M = Mo; 11, M = W). The structures of complexes 2, 5, 6, 8, and 9 have been established by X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

The first example of a mononuclear diphosphanidoargentate, bis[bis(trifluoromethyl)phosphanido]argentate, [Ag[P(CF(3))(2)](2)](-), is obtained via the reaction of HP(CF(3))(2) with [Ag(CN)(2)](-) and isolated as its [K(18-crown-6)] salt. When the cyclic phosphane (PCF(3))(4) is reacted with a slight excess of [K(18-crown-6)][Ag[P(CF(3))(2)](2)], selective insertion of one PCF(3) unit into each silver phosphorus bond is observed, which on the basis of NMR spectroscopic evidence suggests the [Ag[P(CF(3))P(CF(3))(2)](2)](-) ion. On treatment of the phosphane complexes [M(CO)(5)PH(CF(3))(2)] (M = Cr, W) with [K(18-crown-6)][Ag(CN)(2)], the analogous trinuclear argentates, [Ag[(micro-P(CF(3))(2))M(CO)(5)](2)](-), are formed. The chromium compound [K(18-crown-6)][Ag[(micro-P(CF(3))(2))Cr(CO)(5)](2)] crystallizes in a noncentrosymmetric space group Fdd2 (No. 43), a = 2970.2(6) pm, b = 1584.5(3) pm, c = 1787.0(4), V = 8.410(3) nm(3), Z = 8. The C(2) symmetric anion, [Ag[(micro-P(CF(3))(2))Cr(CO)(5)](2)](-), shows a nearly linear arrangement of the P-Ag-P unit. Although the bis(pentafluorophenyl)phosphanido compound [Ag[P(C(6)F(5))(2)](2)](-) has not been obtained so far, the synthesis of its trinuclear counterpart, [K(18-crown-6)][Ag[(micro-P(C(6)F(5))(2))W(CO)(5)](2)], was successful.  相似文献

Four Fe(III) compounds and one Fe(II) compound containing mononuclear, homoleptic, fluorinated phenolate anions of the form [Fe(OAr)(m)](n-) have been prepared in which Ar(F) = C(6)F(5) and Ar' = 3,5-C(6)(CF(3))(2)H(3): (Ph(4)P)(2)[Fe(OAr(F))(5)], 1, (Me(4)N)(2)[Fe(OAr(F))(5)], 2, {K(18-crown-6)}(2)[Fe(OAr(F))(5)], 3a, {K(18-crown-6)}(2)[Fe(OAr')(5)], 3b, and {K(18-crown-6)}(2)[Fe(OAr(F))(4)], 6. Two dinuclear Fe(III) compounds have also been prepared: {K(18-crown-6)}(2)[(OAr(F))(3)Fe(μ(2)-O)Fe(OAr(F))(3)], 4, and {K(18-crown-6)}(2)[(OAr(F))(3)Fe(μ(2)-OAr(F))(2)Fe(OAr(F))(3)], 5. These compounds have been characterized with UV-vis spectroscopy, elemental analysis, Evans method susceptibility, and X-ray crystallography. All-electron, geometry-optimized DFT calculations on four [Ti(IV)(OAr)(4)] and four [Fe(III)(OAr)(4)](-) species (Ar = 2,3,5,6-C(6)Me(4)H, C(6)H(5), 2,4,6-C(6)Cl(3)H(2), C(6)F(5)) with GGA-BP and hybrid B3LYP basis sets demonstrated that, under D(2d) symmetry, π donation from the O 2p orbitals is primarily into the d(xy) and d(z(2)) orbitals. The degree of donation is qualitatively consistent with expectations based on ligand Br?nsted basicity and supports the contention that fluorinated phenolate ligands facilitate isolation of nonbridged homoleptic complexes due to their reduced π basicity at oxygen.  相似文献

The steric factors that allow trivalent [(C(5)Me(5))(3)U] (1) to function as a three-electron reductant with C(8)H(8) to form tetravalent [{(C(5)Me(5))(C(8)H(8))U}(2)(μ-C(8)H(8))] (2) have been explored by examining the synthesis and reactivity of the intermediate, "[(C(5)Me(5))(2)(C(8)H(8))U]" (3), and the slightly less crowded analogues, [(C(5)Me(5))(C(5)Me(4)H)(C(8)H(8))U] and [(C(5)Me(4)H)(2)(C(8)H(8))U], that have, successively one less methyl group. The reaction of [{(C(5)Me(5))(C(8)H(8))U(μ-OTf)}(2)] (4; OTf=OSO(2) CF(3)) with two equivalents of KC(5)Me(5) in THF gave ring-opening to "[(C(5)Me(5))(C(8)H(8))U{O(CH(2))(4)(C(5) Me(5))}]" consistent with in situ formation of 3. Reaction of 4 with two and four equivalents of KC(5)Me(4)H generates two equivalents of [(C(5)Me(5))(C(5)Me(4)H)(C(8)H(8))U] (5) and [(C(5)Me(4)H)(2)(C(8)H(8))U] (6), respectively, which in contrast to 3 were isolable. Tetravalent 5 reduces phenazine and PhEEPh (E=S, Se, and Te) to form the tetravalent uranium reduction products, [{(C(5)Me(5))(C(8)H(8))U}(2)(μ-C(12)H(8)N(2))] (7), [{(C(5)Me(5))(C(8)H(8))U}(2)(μ-SPh)(2)] (8), [{(C(5)Me(5))(C(8)H(8))U}(2)(μ-SePh)(2)] (9), and [{(C(5)Me(5))(C(8)H(8))U}(2)(μ-TePh)(2)] (10), consistent with sterically induced reduction. In contrast, the less sterically crowded 6 does not react with these substrates.  相似文献

The stabilization of the P(CF(3))(2)(-) ion by intermediary coordination to the very weak Lewis acid acetone gives access to single crystals of [18-crown-6-K]P(CF(3))(2). The X-ray single crystal analysis exhibits nearly isolated P(CF(3))(2)(-) ions with an unusually short P-C distance of 184(1) pm, which can be explained by negative hyperconjugation and is also found by quantum chemical hybrid DFT calculation. Coordination of the P(CF(3))(2)(-) ion to pentacarbonyl tungsten has only a minor effect on electronic and geometric properties of the P(CF(3))(2) moiety, while a strong increase in thermal stability of the dissolved species is achieved. The hitherto unknown P(C(6)F(5))(2)(-) ion is stabilized by coordination to pentacarbonyl tungsten and isolated as a stable 18-crown-6 potassium salt, [18-crown-6-K][W[P(C(6)F(5))(2)](CO)(5)], which is fully characterized. The tungstate, [W[P(C(6)F(5))(2)](CO)(5)](-), decomposes slowly in solution, while coordination of the phosphorus atom to a second pentacarbonyl tungsten moiety results in an enhanced thermal stability in solution. The single-crystal X-ray analysis of [18-crown-6-K][[W(CO)(5)](2)[mu-P(C(6)F(5))(2)]].THF exhibits a very tight arrangement of the two C(6)F(5) and two W(CO)(5) groups around the central phosphorus atom. NMR spectroscopic investigations of the [[W(CO)(5)](2)[mu-P(C(6)F(5))(2)]](-) ion exhibit a hindered rotation of both the C(6)F(5) and W(CO)(5) groups in solution.  相似文献

The metathesis reaction of anhydrous EuCl(3) with sodium salt of bulky β-diketiminato NaL (L = [N(2, 4, 6- Me(3)C(6)H(2))C(Me)](2)CH(-), L(2, 4, 6-Me3); [N(2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3))C(Me)](2)CH(-), L(2, 6-ipr2) and [(2, 6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3))NC(Me)CHC(Me)N(C(6)H(5))](-), L(2, 6-ipr2)(Ph)) in THF at 60 °C afforded the corresponding Eu(II) complexes: Eu(II)(L(2, 4, 6-Me3))(2)(THF) (1), Eu(II)(L(2, 6-ipr2))(2) (2) and Eu(II)(L(2, 6-ipr2)(Ph))(2) (5) with the formations of dimers (L(2, 4, 6-Me3))(2) (3) and (L(2, 6-ipr2))(2) (4) for the former two reactions and proligand L(2, 6-ipr2)(Ph)H (6) for the latter one. Compounds 1-6 were confirmed by an X-ray crystal structure analysis. The central metal Eu(II) in 1 is coordinated by two monoanionic L(2, 4, 6-Me3) ligands and one THF molecule in a trigonal bipyramid. The Eu(II) in each of 2 and 5 is ligated by two monoanionic ligands to form a tetrahedral geometry. The BVS (Bond Valence Sum) calculation indicates the oxidation state of Eu in all the three complexes is 2+ (2.12 for 1, 1.86 for 2 and 1.99 for 5). The isolation of dimers of (L(2, 4, 6-Me3))(2) and L(2, 6-ipr2))(2) and proligand L(2, 6-ipr2)(Ph)H demonstrates that the reducing agent in the present reduction of a Eu(III) ion to a Eu(II) ion might be the (L(2, 4, 6-Me3))(-), (L(2, 6-ipr2))(-) and (L(2, 6-ipr2)(Ph))(-), respectively. The possible mechanism for the reduction pathway is presented.  相似文献

The reaction of Ln(BH(4))(3)(THF)(3) or LnCl(3)(THF)(3) with 1 equiv of KCp*' ligand (Cp' = C(5)Me(4)n-Pr) afforded the new monocyclopentadienyl complexes Cp*'LnX(2)(THF)(n) (X = BH(4), Ln = Sm, n = 1, 1a, Ln = Nd, n = 2, 1b; X = Cl, Ln = Sm, n = 1, 3a) and [Cp*'LnX(2)](n') (X = BH(4), n' = 6, Ln = Sm, 2a, Ln = Nd, 2b; X = Cl, Ln = Nd, 4b). All these compounds were characterized by elemental analysis and (1)H NMR. Crystals of mixed borohydrido/chloro-bridged [Cp*'(6)Ln(6)(BH(4))(12-x))Cl(x)(THF)(n')] (x = 10, n' = 4, Ln = Sm, 2a', Ln = Nd, 2b'; x = 5, n = 2, Ln = Sm, 2a' ') were also isolated. Compounds 2a, 2b, 2a', 2b', and 2a' were structurally characterized; they all exhibit a hexameric structure in the solid state containing the [Cp*(3)Ln(3)X(5)(THF)] building block. The easy clustering of THF adducts first isolated is illustrative of the well-known bridging ability of the BH(4) group. Hexameric 2a was found to be unstable in the presence of THF vapors; this may be correlated to the opening of unsymmetrical borohydride bridges observed in the molecular structure.  相似文献

The [Z(2)Ln(THF)](2)(mu-eta(2)():eta(2)()-N(2)) complexes (Z = monoanionic ligand) generated by reduction of dinitrogen with trivalent lanthanide salts and alkali metals are strong reductants in their own right and provide another option in reductive lanthanide chemistry. Hence, lanthanide-based reduction chemistry can be effected in a diamagnetic trivalent system using the dinitrogen reduction product, [(C(5)Me(5))(2)(THF)La](2)(mu-eta(2)():eta(2)()-N(2)), 1, readily obtained from [(C(5)Me(5))(2)La][BPh(4)], KC(8), and N(2). Complex 1 reduces phenazine, cyclooctatetraene, anthracene, and azobenzene to form [(C(5)Me(5))(2)La](2)[mu-eta(3):eta(3)-(C(12)H(8)N(2))], 2, (C(5)Me(5))La(C(8)H(8)), 3, [(C(5)Me(5))(2)La](2)[mu-eta(3):eta(3)-(C(14)H(10))], 4, and [(C(5)Me(5))La(mu-eta(2)-(PhNNPh)(THF)](2), 5, respectively. Neither stilbene nor naphthalene are reduced by 1, but 1 reduces CO to make the ketene carboxylate complex {[(C(5)Me(5))(2)La](2)[mu-eta(4)-O(2)C-C=C=O](THF)}(2), 6, that contains CO-derived carbon atoms completely free of oxygen.  相似文献

Fluorescent carbazole-based dipyrazole ligands (H(2)L(1-4)) were employed to coordinate with dipalladium corners ([(phen)(2)Pd(2)(NO(3))(2)](NO(3))(2), [(dmbpy)(2)Pd(2)(NO(3))(2)](NO(3))(2), or [(15-crown-5-phen)(2)Pd(2)(NO(3))(2)](NO(3))(2), where phen = 1,10-phenanthroline and dmbpy = 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine, in aqueous solution to afford a series of positively charged [M(8)L(4)](8+) or [M(4)L(2)](4+) multimetallomacrocycles with remarkable water solubility. Their structures were characterized by (1)H NMR spectroscopy, electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, and elemental analysis and in the cases of 1·8BF(4)(-) ([(phen)(8)Pd(8)L(1)(4)](BF(4))(8)), and 3·4BF(4)(-) ([(phen)(4)Pd(4)L(2)(2)](BF(4))(4)) by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Complexes 3-8 are square-type hybrid metallomacrocycles, while complexes 1 and 2 exhibit folding cyclic structures. Interestingly, in single-crystal structures of 1·8BF(4)(-) and 3·4BF(4)(-), BF(4)(-) anions are trapped in the dipalladium clips through anion-π interaction. The luminescence properties and interaction toward anions of these metallomacrocycles were discussed.  相似文献

The La(2+) complex [K(18-crown-6)(OEt(2))][Cp″(3)La] (1) [Cp″ = C(5)H(3)(SiMe(3))(2)-1,3], can be synthesized under N(2), but in the presence of KC(5)Me(5), 1 reduces N(2) to the (N═N)(2-) product [(C(5)Me(5))(2)(THF)La](2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2)). This suggests a dichotomy in terms of ligands that optimize isolation of reduced dinitrogen complexes versus isolation of divalent complexes of the rare earths. To determine whether the first crystalline molecular Y(2+) complex could be isolated using this logic, Cp'(3)Y (2) (Cp' = C(5)H(4)SiMe(3)) was synthesized from YCl(3) and KCp' and reduced with KC(8) in the presence of 18-crown-6 in Et(2)O at -45 °C under argon. EPR evidence was consistent with Y(2+) and crystallization provided the first structurally characterizable molecular Y(2+) complex, dark-maroon-purple [(18-crown-6)K][Cp'(3)Y] (3).  相似文献

In contrast to the neutral macrocycle [UN*(2)(N,C)] (1) [N* = N(SiMe(3))(3); N,C = CH(2)SiMe(2)N(SiMe(3))] which was quite inert toward I(2), the anionic bismetallacycle [NaUN*(N,C)(2)] (2) was readily transformed into the enlarged monometallacycle [UN*(N,N)I] (4) [N,N = (Me(3)Si)NSiMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)SiMe(2)N(SiMe(3))] resulting from C-C coupling of the two CH(2) groups, and [NaUN*(N,O)(2)] (3) [N,O = OC(═CH(2))SiMe(2)N(SiMe(3))], which is devoid of any U-C bond, was oxidized into the U(V) bismetallacycle [Na{UN*(N,O)(2)}(2)(μ-I)] (5). Sodium amalgam reduction of 4 gave the U(III) compound [UN*(N,N)] (6). Addition of MN(3) or MCN to the (N,C), (N,N), and (N,O) metallacycles 1, 4, and 5 led to the formation of the anionic azide or cyanide derivatives M[UN*(2)(N,C)(N(3))] [M = Na, 7a or Na(15-crown-5), 7b], M[UN*(2)(N,C)(CN)] [M = NEt(4), 8a or Na(15-crown-5), 8b or K(18-crown-6), 8c], M[UN*(N,N)(N(3))(2)] [M = Na, 9a or Na(THF)(4), 9b], [NEt(4)][UN*(N,N)(CN)(2)] (10), M[UN*(N,O)(2)(N(3))] [M = Na, 11a or Na(15-crown-5), 11b], M[UN*(N,O)(2)(CN)] [M = NEt(4), 12a or Na(15-crown-5), 12b]. In the presence of excess iodine in THF, the cyanide 12a was converted back into the iodide 5, while the azide 11a was transformed into the neutral U(V) complex [U(N{SiMe(3)}SiMe(2)C{CHI}O)(2)I(THF)] (13). The X-ray crystal structures of 4, 7b, 8a-c, 9b, 10, 12b, and 13 were determined.  相似文献

The reactivity of the tetraphenylborate salts of the rare earth metallocene cations [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Ln][(μ-Ph)(2)BPh(2)] (Ln = Y, 1; Sm, 2) has been investigated with substrates that undergo reduction with f element complexes to probe metal-substrate interactions prior to reduction. Results with NaN(3), 1-adamantyl azide, acetone, benzophenone, phenanthroline, pyridine, azobenzene, and phenazine are described. Not only were coordination complexes isolated, but substrate reduction by (BPh(4))(-) was also observed. Complex 1 reacts with NaN(3) to form the azide [(C(5)Me(5))(2)YN(3)](x), 3, which crystallizes as [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Y(μ-N(3))](3), 4, when obtained from 1 and 1-adamantyl azide. The samarium analogue [(C(5)Me(5))(2)SmN(3)](x), 5, can be produced similarly from 2 and NaN(3) and crystallized from MeCN as [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Sm(NCMe)(μ-N(3))](3), 6, and {[(C(5)Me(5))(2)Sm(μ-N(3))][(C(5)Me(5))(2)Sm(NCMe)(μ-N(3))]}(n), 7. Complexes 1 and 2 react with stoichiometric amounts of acetone and benzophenone to form the ketone adducts [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Ln(OCMe(2))(2)][BPh(4)] (Ln = Y, 8; Sm, 9) and [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Ln(OCPh(2))(2)][BPh(4)] (Ln = Y, 10; Sm, 11), respectively. Phenanthroline (phen) coordinates to 1 to form [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Y(phen)][BPh(4)], 12. Complexes 1 and 2 react with pyridine (py) to form [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Ln(py)(2)][BPh(4)], (Ln = Y, 13; Sm, 14). Complexes 3, 8, 10, and 12 can also be made from the solvated cation [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Y(THF)(2)][BPh(4)]. The reaction of 1 with PhNNPh yields the diamagnetic adduct [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Y(PhNNPh)][BPh(4)], 15, which transforms in benzene to the radical anion complex (C(5)Me(5))(2)Y(PhNNPh), 16, via a one electron reduction by (BPh(4))(-). Complex 1 similarly reacts with phenazine (phz) to produce the first rare earth phenazine radical anion complex {[(C(5)Me(5))(2)Y](2)(phz)}{BPh(4)}, 17. Further reduction of phenazine by (BPh(4))(-) in 17 yields [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Y](2)(phz), 18, which contains the common (phz)(2-) dianion. The reduction of fluorenone by (BPh(4))(-) is also reported.  相似文献

Simple silylamine elimination reactions of calix[4]-pyrrole [R(2)C(C(4)H(2)NH)](4) (R = Me (1), {-(CH(2))(5)-}(0.5) (2)) with 2 equiv. of [(Me(3)Si)(2)N](3)Ln(μ-Cl)Li(THF)(3) (Ln = Nd, Sm, Dy) in reflux toluene, afforded the novel dinuclear alkali metal-free trivalent lanthanide amido complexes (η(5):η(1):η(5):η(1)-R(8)-calix[4]-pyrrolyl){LnN(SiMe(3))(2)}(2) (R = Me, Ln = Nd (3), Sm (4), Dy (5); R = {-(CH(2))(5)-}(0.5), Ln = Nd (6), Sm(7)). The complexes were fully characterized by elemental analyses, spectroscopic analyses and single-crystal X-ray analyses. X-ray diffraction studies showed that each lanthanide metal was supported by bispyrrolyl anions in an η(5) fashion and along with three nitrogen atoms from N(SiMe(3))(2) and two other pyrroyl rings in η(1) modes formed the novel bent-sandwiched lanthanide amido bridged trivalent lanthanide amido complexes, similar to ansa-cyclopentadienyl ligand-supported lanthanide amides with respect to each metal center. The catalytic activities of these organolanthanide complexes as single component l-lactide polymerization catalysts were studied.  相似文献
