We prove the boundedness on L p , 1?<?p?<?∞, of operators on manifolds which arise by taking conditional expectation of transformations of stochastic integrals. Let ?p, 1?p?∞, be the space of all p-summable sequences and Ca be the convolution operator associated with a summable sequence a. It is known that the ?p-stability of the convolution operator Ca for different 1?p?∞ are equivalent to each other, i.e., if Ca has ?p-stability for some 1?p?∞ then Ca has ?q-stability for all 1?q?∞. In the study of spline approximation, wavelet analysis, time-frequency analysis, and sampling, there are many localized operators of non-convolution type whose stability is one of the basic assumptions. In this paper, we consider the stability of those localized operators including infinite matrices in the Sjöstrand class, synthesis operators with generating functions enveloped by shifts of a function in the Wiener amalgam space, and integral operators with kernels having certain regularity and decay at infinity. We show that the ?p-stability (or Lp-stability) of those three classes of localized operators are equivalent to each other, and we also prove that the left inverse of those localized operators are well localized.  相似文献

For D, a bounded Lipschitz domain in Rn, n ? 2, the classical layer potentials for Laplace's equation are shown to be invertible operators on L2(?D) and various subspaces of L2(?D). For 1 < p ? 2 and data in Lp(?D) with first derivatives in Lp(?D) it is shown that there exists a unique harmonic function, u, that solves the Dirichlet problem for the given data and such that the nontangential maximal function of ▽u is in Lp(?D). When n = 2 the question of the invertibility of the layer potentials on every Lp(?D), 1 < p < ∞, is answered.  相似文献

We construct examples which distinguish clearly the classes of p-hyponormal operators for 0<p?∞. In addition, we show that those examples classify the classes of w-hyponormal, absolute-p-paranormal, and normaloid operators on the complex Hilbert space. Only a few examples of p-hyponormal operators have been examined. Our technique can provide many examples related to the above operators.  相似文献

In this paper, the necessary and sufficient conditions are found for the boundedness of the rough B-fractional integral operators from the Lorentz spaces Lp,s,γ to Lq,r,γ, 1<p<q<∞, 1?r?s?∞, and from L1,r,γ to Lq,∞,γWLq,γ, 1<q<∞, 1?r?∞. As a consequence of this, the same results are given for the fractional B-maximal operator and B-Riesz potential.  相似文献

For α an ordinal and 1<p<∞, we determine a necessary and sufficient condition for an ?p-direct sum of operators to have Szlenk index not exceeding ωα. It follows from our results that the Szlenk index of an ?p-direct sum of operators is determined in a natural way by the behaviour of the ε-Szlenk indices of its summands. We prove two-weight, weak type norm inequalities for potential operators and fractional integrals defined on spaces of homogeneous type. We show that the operators in question are bounded from Lp(v) to Lq,∞(u), 1<p?q<∞, provided the pair of weights (u,v) verifies a Muckenhoupt condition with a “power-bump” on the weight u.  相似文献

We construct a power bounded operator on a Hilbert space which is not quasisimilar to a contraction. To this aim, we solve an open problem from operator ergodic theory showing that there are power bounded Hilbert space operators without the Blum-Hanson property. We also find an example of a power bounded operator quasisimilar to a unitary operator which is not similar to a contraction, thus answering negatively open questions raised by Kérchy and Cassier. On the positive side, we prove that contractions on ?p spaces (1?p<∞) possess the Blum-Hanson property.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the approximation of the inversion of windowed Fourier transforms using Riemannian sums. We show that for certain window functions, the Riemannian sums are well defined on L p (?), 1?<?p?<?∞, and tend to the function to be reconstructed as the sampling density tends to infinity.  相似文献

We characterize in terms of monotonicity basic properties of quasilinear elliptic partial differential operators which make it possible to obtain a Liouville-type comparison principle for entire solutions of quasilinear elliptic partial differential inequalities of the form A(u)+|u|q?1u?A(v)+|v|q?1v, which belong only locally to the corresponding Sobolev spaces on Rn,n?2. We establish that such properties are inherent for a wide class of quasilinear elliptic partial differential operators. In this paper, we study the Lp boundedness of certain maximal operators on product domains with rough kernels in L(logL). We prove that our operators are bounded on Lp for all 2?p<∞. Moreover, we show that our condition on the kernel is optimal in the sense that the space L(logL) cannot be replaced by Lr(logL) for any r<1. Our results resolve a problem left open in [Y. In the space L p (? n ), 1 < p < +∞, we consider a new class of integral operators with kernels homogeneous of degree ?n, which includes the class of operators with homogeneous SO(n)-invariant kernels; we study the Banach algebra generated by such operators with multiplicatively weakly oscillating coefficients. For operators from this algebra, we define a symbol in terms of which we formulate a Fredholm property criterion and derive a formula for calculating the index. An important stage in obtaining these results is the establishment of the relationship between the operators of the class under study and the operators of one-dimensional convolution with weakly oscillating compact coefficients.  相似文献

A bounded linear operator T acting on a Banach space B is called weakly hypercyclic if there exists xB such that the orbit is weakly dense in B and T is called weakly supercyclic if there is xB for which the projective orbit is weakly dense in B. If weak density is replaced by weak sequential density, then T is said to be weakly sequentially hypercyclic or supercyclic, respectively. It is shown that on a separable Hilbert space there are weakly supercyclic operators which are not weakly sequentially supercyclic. This is achieved by constructing a Borel probability measure μ on the unit circle for which the Fourier coefficients vanish at infinity and the multiplication operator Mf(z)=zf(z) acting on L2(μ) is weakly supercyclic. It is not weakly sequentially supercyclic, since the projective orbit under M of each element in L2(μ) is weakly sequentially closed. This answers a question posed by Bayart and Matheron. It is proved that the bilateral shift on ?p(Z), 1?p<∞, is weakly supercyclic if and only if 2<p<∞ and that any weakly supercyclic weighted bilateral shift on ?p(Z) for 1?p?2 is norm supercyclic. It is also shown that any weakly hypercyclic weighted bilateral shift on ?p(Z) for 1?p<2 is norm hypercyclic, which answers a question of Chan and Sanders.  相似文献

We compute the action of Hecke operators on Jacobi forms of “Siegel degree” n and m×m index M, provided 1?j?nm. We find they are restrictions of Hecke operators on Siegel modular forms, and we compute their action on Fourier coefficients. Then we restrict the Hecke-Siegel operators T(p), Tj(p2) (nm<j?n) to Jacobi forms of Siegel degree n, compute their action on Fourier coefficients and on indices, and produce lifts from Jacobi forms of index M to Jacobi forms of index M where detM|detM. Finally, we present an explicit choice of matrices for the action of the Hecke operators on Siegel modular forms, and for their restrictions to Jacobi modular forms.  相似文献

Under study are convergence theorems for integrals of functions in LEp(μ) with respect to Nemytskii measures. Weak integrals are then denoted to Hammerstein operators, and a study of topologies generated by vector measures leads to a characterization of compact Hammerstein operators.  相似文献
