We study a discrete system in a neighborhood of a quasi-periodic trajectory. We obtain conditions for reducing a system in this neighborhood to a system with quasi-periodic coefficients. We investigate the behavior of a diserete dynamical system in a neighborhood of a quasiperiodic trajeetory for the case of an infinite-dimensional Banach space We find conditions sufficient for the system considered to reduce, in such a neighborhood, to a system with quasiperiodic coefficients. In the present paper, we give a new treatment of the mechanism of generation of chaotic dynamics in a perturbed conservative system in a neighborhood of the separatrix contour of a hyperbolic singular point of the unperturbed system. We theoretically prove and justify by three numerical examples of classical Hamiltonian systems with one and a half degrees of freedom and by an example of a simply conservative three-dimensional system that the complication of the dynamics in a conservative system as the perturbation increases is caused by a nonlocal effect of multiplication of hyperbolic and elliptic cycles (and the tori surrounding them), which has nothing in common with the mechanism of separatrix splitting in classical Hamiltonian mechanics.  相似文献

The motion of inertia is studied of a system consisting of an axisymmetric solid body with fixed point and a homogeneous visco-elastic disk lying in the equatorial plane of the ellipsoid of inertia of the solid body (the center of disk coincides with the fixed point). In the case of a solid disk immobilized relative to the solid body the system accomplishes a regular precession (the case of Euler motion of a symmetric solid body with a fixed point /1/). The deformation of the disk is taking place in the plane of the disk, and is accompanied by energy dissipation is the cause of the regular precession finishing by steady rotation about the vector of the moment of momentum of the system /2/.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the wave equation with both viscous Kelvin–Voigt and frictional damping as a model of viscoelasticity in which we incorporate an internal control with a moving support. We prove the null controllability when the control region, driven by the flow of an ODE, covers all the domain. The proof is based upon the interpretation of the system as, roughly, the coupling of a heat equation with an ordinary differential equation (ODE). The presence of the ODE for which there is no propagation along the space variable makes the controllability of the system impossible when the control is confined into a subset in space that does not move. The null controllability of the system with a moving control is established in using the observability of the adjoint system and some Carleman estimates for a coupled system of a parabolic equation and an ODE with the same singular weight, adapted to the geometry of the moving support of the control. This extends to the multi-dimensional case the results by P. Martin et al. in the one-dimensional case, employing 1-d Fourier analysis techniques.  相似文献

在Jeffcott转子的开闭裂纹及方波模型基础上,建立了飞行器内裂纹转子系统的运动模型.数值研究表明:当飞行器以不同的等速度飞行时,转子轴与水平面之间夹角的变化将造成重力分量的变化,从而使转子运动在周期解、拟周期或浑沌状态之间变化,而且出现非线性现象的转速比、刚度变化比等参数的范围、进入和退出浑沌的路径、响应中的频率成份也会发生变化.飞行器的飞行速度变化还会改变裂纹转子响应的稳定性.飞行器等速飞行后的加速过程将引起转子振幅的突升及其后的下降,而且会使裂纹转子系统响应可能在不同的非线性状态下交替改变.  相似文献

We are interested in circuit simulation including distributed semiconductor models. The circuit itself is modeled by the modified nodal analysis. The stationary drift diffusion equations are used to describe the semiconductors. The complete system is then a partial differential-algebraic system. We discretize it first in space with finite elements and the Scharfetter-Gummel discretization. The resulting semi-discrete system can be analyzed as a differential-algebraic equation with properly stated leading term. We present topological index one criteria. They coincide with previous results for the non-discretized partial differential-algebraic equation. For the time discretization we use standard BDF methods (implicit Gear formulas). Finally we derive a convergence estimate for the whole partial differential-algebraic system close to equilibrium.  相似文献

We consider the initial boundary-value problem for the system of equations describing the motion of a nonlinear visco-elastic medium with memory along the trajectories of the velocity field; the system in question is a generalization of the system of Navier-Stokes equations. We establish existence and uniqueness theorems for strong solutions containing higher derivatives that are square-integrable in the plane case.  相似文献

This paper studies a generalized cumulative shock model with a cluster shock structure. The system considered is subject to two types of shocks, called primary shocks and secondary shocks, where each primary shock causes a series of secondary shocks. The lifetime behavior of such a system becomes more complicated than that of a classical model with only one class of shocks. Under a non-homogeneous Poisson process of primary shocks, we analyze the lifetime behavior of the system with light-tailed and heavy-tailed distributed secondary shocks. We show some important characteristics of lifetime of this type of system. Our model, as an extension of the classical shock models, has wide applications in maintenance engineering, operations management, and insurance risk assessment.  相似文献

In the paper we consider a system of a ball that rolls without slipping on a plane. The ball is assumed to be inhomogeneous and its center of mass does not necessarily coincide with its geometric center. We have proved that the governing equations can be recast into a system of six ODEs that admits four integrals of motion. Thus, the phase space of the system is foliated by invariant 2-tori; moreover, this foliation is equivalent to the Liouville foliation encountered in the case of Euler of the rigid body dynamics. However, the system cannot be solved in terms of quadratures because there is no invariant measure which we proved by finding limit cycles.  相似文献

In this paper, the dynamic response of an Euler-Bernoulli beam and string system traversed by a constant moving force is considered. The force is moving with a constant velocity on the top beam. The complex system is finite, simply supported, parallel one upon the other and continuously coupled by a linear Winkler elastic element. The classical solution of the response of a beam-string system subjected to a force moving with a constant velocity has a form of an infinite series. The main goal of this paper is to show that in the considered case the aperiodic part of the solution can be presented in a closed, analytical form instead of an infinite series. The presented method of finding the solution in a closed, analytical form is based on the observation that the solution of the system of partial differential equations in the form of an infinite series is also a solution of an appropriate system of ordinary differential equations. We consider a single-server queueing system with Poisson arrivals in which the speed of the server depends on whether an associated fluid reservoir is empty or not. Conversely, the rate of change of the content of the reservoir is determined by the state of the queueing system, since the reservoir fills during idle periods and depletes during busy periods of the server. Our interest focuses on the stationary joint distribution of the number of customers in the system and the content of the fluid reservoir, from which various performance measures such as the steady-state sojourn time distribution of a customer may be obtained. We study two variants of the system. For the first, in which the fluid reservoir is infinitely large, we present an exact analysis. The variant in which the fluid reservoir is finite is analysed approximatively through a discretization technique. The system may serve as a mathematical model for a traffic regulation mechanism - a two-level traffic shaper - at the edge of an ATM network, regulating a very bursty source. The steady motions of a rigid body carrying several two-degree-of-freedom powered gyroscopes in a uniform external field are investigated. It is shown that when the installation scheme of the gyroscopes in the carrying body is collinear, the problem of determining the steady motions of the system and analysing their secular stability reduces for the most part to the previously solved, similar problem for a system with one gyroscope. It is established that when there is dissipation in the axes of the gyroscope frames, the system tends asymptotically to a state of rest if the absolute value of the total angular momentum of the system lies in the segment of possible absolute values of the angular momentum of the gyroscope rotors. The results of an analysis of the steady motions of a system carrying two gyroscopes with a non-collinear installation scheme are presented.  相似文献

The rectilinear motions of a two-mass system, consisting of a container and an internal mass, in a medium with resistance, are considered. The displacement of the system as a whole occurs due to periodic motion of the internal mass with respect to the container. The optimal periodic motions of the system, corresponding to the greatest velocity of displacement of the system as a whole, averaged over a period, are constructed and investigated using a simple mechanical model. Different laws of resistance of the medium, including linear and quadratic resistance, isotropic and anisotropic, and also a resistance in the form of dry-friction forces obeying Coulomb's law, are considered.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the dynamics of a top in the form of a truncated ball as it moves without slipping and spinning on a horizontal plane about a vertical. Such a system is described by differential equations with a discontinuous right-hand side. Equations describing the system dynamics are obtained and a reduction to quadratures is performed. A bifurcation analysis of the system is made and all possible types of the top’s motion depending on the system parameters and initial conditions are defined. The system dynamics in absolute space is examined. It is shown that, except for some special cases, the trajectories of motion are bounded.  相似文献

The dynamics of a compound system, consisting of a rigid body and a point mass, which moves in a specified way along a curve, rigidly attached to the body is investigated. The system performs free motion in a uniform gravity field. Differential equations are derived which describe the rotation of the body about its centre of mass. In two special cases, which allow of the introduction of a small parameter, an approximate system of equations of motion is obtained using asymptotic methods. The accuracy with which the solutions of the approximate system approach the solutions of the exact equations of motion is indicated. In one case, it is assumed that the point mass has a mass that is small compared with the mass of the body, and performs rapid motion with respect to the rigid body. It is shown that in this case the approximate system is integrable. A number of special motions of the body, described by the approximate system, are indicated, and their stability is investigated. In the second case, no limitations are imposed on the mass of the point mass, but it is assumed that the relative motion of the point is rapid and occurs near a specified point of the body. It is shown that, in the approximate system, the motion of the rigid body about its centre of mass is Euler–Poinsot motion.  相似文献
