Several novel compounds with the non-linear optical chromophore 2-amino-5-nitropyridine (2A5NP) and Keggin polyoxoanions (alpha-isomers), having the general formula (2A5NP)(m)H(n)[XM12O40].xH2O, M = Mo, W, were synthesised. Compounds were obtained with X = P, n = 3, m = 3 and 4 and X = Si, n = m = 4 (x = 2-6). Thus, for each of the anions [PMo12O40]3- and [PW12O40]3- two different compounds were obtained, with the same anion and organic counterpart but with a different stoichiometric ratio. These presented different charge transfer properties and thermal stability. All compounds were characterised by spectroscopic and analytical techniques. The single crystal X-ray diffraction structure of (2A5NP)4H3[PMo12O40].2.5H2O.0.5C2H5OH showed that the water solvent molecules and the organic chromophores are assembled via infinite one-dimensional chains of hydrogen bonds with formation of open channels, which accommodate [PMo12O40]3- and ethanol solvent molecules.  相似文献

The highly charged dodecaniobate Keggin ions [XNb12O40](-16) (X = Si, Ge) and [XNb12O40](-15) (X = P) serve as building blocks of self-assembled, low-dimensional anionic framework materials. In addition to its high charge, the Keggin ion provides optimal binding geometries that render these materials as attractive metal sorbents and ion exchangers. We describe here the synthesis and single-crystal X-ray structure of K(10-x)[Nb2O2][HxGeNb12O40].11H2O (GeNb12-2d; x = approximately 1-1.5), a phase featuring 2D linkage of [GeNb12O40](-16) Keggin ions interlayered with charge-balancing K(+) cations and water molecules. Thermogravimetry, infrared spectroscopy (IR), 1H MAS NMR, and D2O exchange experiments as well as computational studies were used to describe the location and behavior of these interlayer, extraframework species. To model the basicity of the different types of framework oxygen sites appropriately, atomic-centered partial charges were derived from density functional theory (DFT) calculations to model the electrostatic potential. This model enabled the locations and bonding of K(+) cations associated with the framework, as well as K(+) cations bound predominantly to water in the interlayer space, to be accurately computed via Monte Carlo simulation. The poorest agreement between experimental and simulation results was observed for potassium sites that were associated with disordered portions of the framework, namely, the [Nb2O2](6+) bridge between Keggin ions. Finally, through grand canonical Monte Carlo (GCMC) calculations, saturation water loadings consistent with experimental measurements were computed.  相似文献

Four new one-dimensional materials and one dimer complex based on the linkage of [Nb6O19] clusters and [CuLx] (L=ethylenediamine (en), NH3, H2O) assemble under ambient conditions. These phases include the following: Rb4[Cu(en)2(H2O)2]3[(Nb6O19H2)2Cu(en)2].24H2O (1), space group P; [Cu(en)2(H2O)2]2[(Nb6O19H2)Cu(en)2].14H2O (2), space group P; Rb2[Cu(NH3)2(H2O)4][Cu(NH3)4(H2O)2]2{[Nb6O19][Cu(NH3)]2}(2).6H2O (3), space group P; {[Nb6O19][Cu(NH3)2(H2O)]2[Cu(H2O)4]2}.3H2O (4), space group P2/n; and {[Nb6O19][Cu(NH3)2(H2O)]2[Cu(H2O)4]2} (5), space group C2/m. All structures have been solved by single-crystal methods, and compounds 1-5 were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis, Fourier transform IR, chemical analysis, and magnetic measurements. It has been demonstrated that the conformation, charge, and geometry of the [Nb6O19]-[CuLx] chains can be modulated by varying the type and amount of the [CuLx]2+ species. The charge balance is provided by mixed Rb+/[CuLx]2+ or [CuLx]2+ cations only for structures 1-3, whereas 4 and 5 are neutral chains with no counterions. There are weak antiferromagnetic Cu2+-Cu2+ interactions in all phases. Compounds 2-5 represent the first examples in which the [Nb6O19] Lindqvist ion forms extended solids rather than dimers or decorated monomers when reacted with transition-metal, cationic complexes.  相似文献

The reaction of a monosubstituted Keggin polyoxometalate (POM) generated in situ with copper-phenanthroline complexes in excess ammonium or rubidium acetate led to the formation of the hybrid metal organic-inorganic compounds A7[Cu2(ac)2(phen)2(H2O)2][Cu3(ac)3(phen)3(H2O)3][Si2W22Cu2O78(H2O)].approximately 18 H2O (A=NH4+ (1), Rb+ (2); ac=acetate; phen=1,10-phenanthroline). These compounds are constructed from inorganic and metalorganic interpenetrated sublattices containing the novel bimolecular Keggin POM, [Si2W22Cu2O78(H2O)]12-, and Cu-ac-phen complexes, [Cu(ac)(phen)(H2O)]n n+ (n=2, 3). The packing of compound 1 can be viewed as a stacking of open-framework layers parallel to the xy plane built of hydrogen-bonded POMs, and zigzag columns of pi-stacked Cu-ac-phen complex cations running along the [111] direction. Magnetic and EPR results are discussed with respect to the crystal structure of the compounds. DFT calculations on [Cu(ac)(phen)(H2O)]n n+ cationic complexes have been performed, to check the influence of packing in the complex geometry and determine the magnetic exchange pathways.  相似文献

The reaction of [M(CN)6]3- (M = Cr3+, Fe3+, Co3+) with the nickel(II) complex of 2,4-diamino-1,3,5-triazin-6-yl-{3-(1,3,5,8,12-pentaazacyclotetradecane)} ([NiL]2+) in excess of ANO3 or ACl (A = Li+, Na+, K+, Rb+, Cs+, NH4+) leads to the cyano-bridged dinuclear assemblies A{[NiL][M(CN)6]}.xH2O (x = 2-5). X-ray structures of Li{[NiL][Cr(CN)6]}.5H2O, NH4{[NiL][Cr(CN)6]}.3.5H2O, K{[NiL][Cr(CN)6]}.4H2O, K{[NiL][Fe(CN)6]}.4H2O, Rb{[NiL][Fe(CN)6]}.3.5H2O, and Cs{[NiL][Fe(CN)6]}.3.5H2O, as well as the powder diffractometry of the entire Fe(III) series, are reported. The magnetic properties of the assemblies are dependent on the monocation A and discussed in detail. New efficient pathways for ferromagnetic exchange between Ni(II) and Fe(III) or Cr(III) are demonstrated. Field dependencies of the magnetization for the Fe(III) samples at low temperature and low magnetic field indicate a weak interchain antiferromagnetic coupling, which is switched to ferromagnetic coupling at increasing magnetic field (metamagnetic behavior). The interchain magnetic coupling can be tuned by the size of the A cations.  相似文献

Ion exchange of the sodium hydro sodalites [Na3(H2O)4]2-[Al3Si3O12]2 [Na4(H3O2)]2[Al3Si3O12]2 and [Na4(OH)]2[Al3Si3O12]2 with aqueous Pb(NO3)2 solutions yielded, whichever reactant sodalite phase was used, the same lead hydro sodalite, [Pb2(OH)-(H2O)3]2[Al3Si3O12]2. Thus, in the case of the non-basic reactant [Na3(H2O)4]2-[Al3Si3O12]2 an overexchange occurs with respect to the number of nonframework cationic charges. Rietveld structure refinement of the lead hydro sodalite based on powder X-ray diffraction data (cubic, a = 9.070 A, room temperature, space group P43n) revealed that the two lead cations within each polyhedral sodalite cage form an orientationally disordered dinuclear [Pb2(micro-OH)(micro-H2O)(H2O)2]3+ complex. Due to additional lead framework oxygen bonds the coordination environment of each metal cation (CN 3+3) is approximately spherical, and clearly the lead 6s electron lone pair is stereochemically inactive. This is also suggested by the absence of a small peak at 13.025 keV, attributed in other Pb2+-O compounds to an electronic 2p-6s transition, in the PbL3 edge XANES spectrum. 1H MAS NMR and FTIR spectra show that the hydrogen atoms of the aqua hydroxo complex (which could not be determined in the Rietveld analysis) are involved in hydrogen bonds of various strengths.  相似文献

A novel approach to designing nitric oxide (NO) storage and releasing microporous agents based on very stable, zeolite-type silicates possessing framework unsaturated transition-metal centers has been proposed. This idea has been illustrated with ETS-4 [Na(9)Si(12)Ti(5)O(38)(OH)·xH(2)O], a titanosilicate that displays excellent NO adsorption capacity and a slow releasing kinetics. The performance of these materials has been compared to the performance of titanosilicate ETS-10, [(Na,K)(2)Si(5)TiO(13)·xH(2)O], of benchmark zeolites mordenite and CaA, and of natural and pillared clays. DFT periodic calculations have shown that the presence of water in the pores of ETS-4 promotes the NO adsorption at the unsaturated (pentacoordinated) Ti(4+) framework ions.  相似文献

合成了过氧钛钨硅杂多酸盐α-M6-mHm[SiW11(TiO2)O39].xH2O和α-M10-mHm[SiW9(TiO2)3O37].xH2O(M=K, TBA), 用IR, UV吸收光谱,极谱-循环伏安, 183W NMR, XPS和XRD等测试方法对其性质、结构进行研究。结果表明, 它们都是具有Keggin结构的过氧杂多配合物,TiO2基的引入将其极谱半波电位提高至-0.3V以上, 它们对顺丁烯二酸的H2O2环氧化反应具有显著高的催化活性。  相似文献

The efficacy of a variety of polyoxometalate anions in selectively precipitating the infectious isoform of the prion protein (PrPSc) over the normal, cellular protein (PrPC) was tested as a means of improving the sensitivity of a conformation-dependent immunoassay (CDI). Experiments utilizing neutralized aqueous solutions containing MgCl2.6H2O and Na2H[PW12O40] (1) indicated that use of the former is detrimental to selectivity, while use of the latter gives optimal selectivity at a concentration of 2.48% w/v, much higher than the 0.31% w/v employed in the current CDI protocol. Similar experiments using Na4[SiW12O40] (2), K5[BW12O40] (3), and Na6[H2W12O40] (4) were performed to probe the role of charge density in polyoxometalate anions possessing the Keggin structure. These, coupled with assignment of solution structures via NMR and infrared spectroscopy, revealed the following trend in optimal concentrations: [HBW11O39]8- < [SiW11O39]8- < [PW11O39]7- = [H2W12O40]6-. Interestingly, use of the salts K10[Zn4(H2O)2(PW9O34)2] (5), Na16[Zn4(H2O)2(P2W15O56)2] (6), and Na27[NaAs4W40O140] (7), containing larger polyoxometalate anions, was found to suppress PrPSc precipitation in a concentration-dependent manner. Taken together, the results suggest a precipitation mechanism wherein Keggin-type anions link multiple PrPSc moieties by binding a somewhat hindered cleft featuring one or more positively charged residues.  相似文献

Rational self-assembly of hexaniobate Lindqvist-type precursor [HNb6O19]7- with soluble Cu2+ salts utilizing different strategies produces a series of giant polyniobate clusters, namely, (H2en)1.25[Cu(en)2(H2O)]2Cl4[Nb24O72H21.5]7 H2O (1; en: ethylenediamine), [Cu(en)2]3[Cu(en)2(H2O)]9[{H2Nb6O19} subset{[({KNb24O72H10.25}{Cu(en)2})2{Cu3(en)3(H2O)3}{Na1.5Cu1.5(H2O)8}{Cu(en)2}4]6}]144 H2O (2), K12Na4[H23NaO8Cu24(Nb7O22)8]106 H2O (3), and K16Na12[H9Cu25.5O8(Nb7O22)8] 73.5 H2O (4). Their structures were determined and further characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, IR and Raman spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and elemental analysis. Structural analyses reveal that compound 2 comprises a giant capsule anion based on a wheel-shaped cluster encapsulating a Lindqvist diprotonated cluster [H2Nb6O19]6- unit, and forms a honeycomb-like structure with the inclusion of Lindqvist-type anions [H2Nb6O19]6- in the holes, whereas 3 and 4 represent an unprecedented giant cube-shaped framework. All the compounds are built from [Nb7O22]9- fundamental building blocks. Solution Raman spectroscopy studies of 2 and 3 reveal that the solid-state structures of these polyniobate cluster anions disassemble and exist in the form of the [Nb6O19]8- unit in solution. Magnetic susceptibility measurement of 3 shows antiferromagnetic coupling interactions between CuII ions with the spin-canting phenomenon.  相似文献

The complexation of Keggin-type polyoxometalates [alpha-XW12O40]n- (X = P, Si, B, Co), macrocation [Cr3O(OOCH)6(H2O)3]+, and alkali-metal ions forms ionic crystals of Na2[Cr3O(OOCH)6(H2O)3][alpha-PW12O40].16H2O (1a), K3[Cr3O(OOCH)6(H2O)3][alpha-SiW12O40].16H2O (2a), Rb4[Cr3O(OOCH)6(H2O)3][alpha-BW12O40].16H2O (3a), and Cs5[Cr3O(OOCH)6(H2O)3][alpha-CoW12O40].7.5H2O (4a). The space volumes of the ionic crystals decrease in the order of 1a > 2a > 3a > 4a. The water of crystallization in 1a-3a is completely desorbed by evacuation at room temperature, while about 50% of the water of crystallization in 4a is desorbed. The respective 1a-4a after evacuation at room temperature are denoted by 1b-4b, which show the close packing of the constituent ions. The calculated cell volumes per formula decreased in the order of 1b > 2b > 3b > 4b, which would be related to the increase in n. Compound 1b sorbs various < or =C5 polar organic molecules such as 1-butanol, valeronitrile, and methyl propionate. Compound 2b sorbs ethanol, acetonitrile, and methyl formate. Compound 3b sorbs water and methanol, and 4b sorbs only water. Thus, the ionic crystals can discriminate < or =C5 polar organic molecules such as alcohols, nitriles, and esters by one methylene chain, and the decrease in n of [alpha-XW12O40]n- enables the sorption of molecules with the longer methylene chain. The nature of the sorption properties of 1b-4b can be explained by the lattice energy needed for the expansion of 1b-4b. The selective sorption properties of 1b-4b are successfully applied to the separation of mixtures of alcohols, nitriles, esters, and water.  相似文献

Mononuclear Cu(II)bipyridine(1)and phenantroline complexes(2)were synthesized and immobilized by different procedures on H3PW12O40 polyoxometalate(POM).Characterization by XRD and SEM-EDX were performed to assess the preservation of the Keggin structure and stoichiometry of the complex.The immobilized complexes were tested as heterogeneous catalysts for the partial oxidation of tetralin(1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalene)using hydrogen peroxide as oxidant in acetonitrile/water as solvent.[Cu(2,2’-bpy)Cl][H2PW12O40] and[Cu(1,10-phen)Cl][H2PW12O40]oxidized tetralin at room temperature,with 16%conversion with(2),to 1-tetralone and 2-tetralone with 83%selectivity.However,the selectivity for 1-tetralone was only 56%.Different preparation methods for the heterogenization of these complexes on the POM Keggin unit were compared and used to enhance the selectivity to 1-tetralone to 75%.  相似文献

Nine dinuclear copper(II) complexes with hxta5- ligands [H5hxta = N,N'-(2-hydroxy-1,3-xylylene)-bis-(N-carboxymethylglycine)]: [Cu2(MeO-hxtaH)(H2O)2] x 4H2O (1), [Na(micro-H2O)2(H2O)6][Cu2(Cl-hxta)(H2O)3]2 x 6H2O (2), [Cu(H2O)6][Cu2(Me-hxta)(H2O)2](NO3) x 2H2O (3), [Cu2(R-hxtaH)(H2O)3] x 3H2O [R = Cl (4), CH3 (5), and MeO (6)], [Cu2(MeO-hxtaH2)(micro-X)(CH3OH)] x 3CH3OH [X = Cl (7), Br (8)] and K5Na(micro-H2O)10[Cu2(micro-CO3)(Me-hxta)]2 x 4H2O (9), have been synthesized and structurally characterized. In complexes 4-7, the dinuclear units are linked via novel pairwise supramolecular interactions involving the ligand carboxylate groups. Three novel coordination polymers built of octahedral niobium cyanochloride clusters [Nb6Cl12(CN)6] and alkaline earth metal complexes have been prepared by reaction of aqueous solutions of (Me4N)4Nb6Cl18 and KCN with solutions of alkaline earth metal salts and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) (1:2 molar ratio) in H2O/EtOH. The structures of [Ca(phen)2(H2O)3]2[Nb6Cl12(CN)6] x (phen)(EtOH)1.6 (1), [Ca(phen)2(H2O)2]2[Nb6Cl12(CN)6] x (phen)2 x 4H2O (2), and [Ba(phen)2(H2O)]2[Nb6Cl12(CN)6] (3) were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The three compounds were found to crystallize in the monoclinic system (space group Pn) with a = 11.5499(6) A, b = 17.5305(8) A, c = 21.784(1) A, beta = 100.877(1) degrees for 1; triclinic system (P1) with a = 12.609(4) A, b = 13.262(4) A, c = 16.645(5) A, alpha = 69.933(6) degrees, beta = 68.607(6) degrees, gamma = 63.522(5) degrees for 2; and a = 16.057(1) A, b = 16.063(1) A, c = 16.061(1) A, alpha = 86.830(1) degrees, beta = 64.380(1) degrees, gamma = 67.803(1) degrees for 3. Compounds 1 and 2 are built of cluster anions [Nb6Cl12(CN)6]4- trans-coordinated by two Ca2+ complexes via CN ligands to form neutral macromolecular units [Ca(phen)2(H2O)3]2[Nb6Cl12(CN)6] in 1 and [Ca(phen)2(H2O)2]2[Nb6Cl12(CN)6] in 2. Water of coordination and cyanide ligands form hydrogen bonded 3D and 2D frameworks for 1 and 2, respectively. The structure of 3 consists of [Nb6Cl12(CN)6]4- cluster anions and [Ba(phen)2(H2O)]2+ complexes linked through bridging cyanide ligands to form a neutral three-dimensional framework in which each barium complex is bound to three neighboring Nb6 clusters and each Nb6 cluster is linked to six Ba complexes.  相似文献

Zinc complexes of a new symmetric dinucleating ligand, N,N'-Bis[2-carboxybenzomethyl]-N,N'-Bis[carboxymethyl]-1,3-diaminopropan-2-ol (H5ccdp) with mixed donating groups, have been studied in the solid state as well as in solution. In methanol, the reaction of stoichiometric and substoichiometric amounts of Zn(ClO4)2 x 6H2O and the ligand H5ccdp, in the presence of K2CO3 or Et3N, afforded a mononuclear zinc complex, [Zn(H2O)6][Zn(H2ccdp)(H2O)2]2 x 12H2O (1). The solid state structure of 1 contains two units of the zinc-ligand anion, [Zn(H2ccdp)(H2O)2]-, and one [Zn(H2O)6]2+ counter cation. The Zn(II) center of the anion is in a distorted octahedral geometry. However, in methanol, the reaction of ZnSO4 x 7H2O and the ligand Hsccdp in the presence of NaOH afforded a unique micro6-sulfato hexanuclear zinc complex, Na6[Zn6(ccdp)3(micro6-SO4)](OH) x 10.5H2O (2). The structure of 2 contains a [ZnII6(micro6-SO4)] core unit which is held together by three heptadentate bridging ligands, ccdp5-. Three of the Zn(II) centers are in highly distorted square pyramidal geometry, the other three Zn(II) centers are in a distorted octahedral geometry.  相似文献

Langmuir and Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films of a variety of polyoxometalates of different shapes, sizes, and charges were prepared by taking advantage of the adsorption properties of these polyanions on a positively charged monolayer of an organic surfactant spread on water. Three different aspects were investigated. 1) The electrochemical and electrochromic properties of LB films containing the easily reducible polyoxoanion [P2Mo18O62]6-. Absorbance changes of these LB films deposited onto an ITO substrate have been induced by repeated switching of the applied potential. These changes are due to the formation of the colored reduced forms of the polyanion. Coloration and bleaching of the LB film occur very quickly and are reversible. 2) The preparation of LB films based on magnetic polyoxometalates, such as the Keggin anions, [CoW12O40]6- and [SiMn(OH2)W11O39]6-, or containing magnetic clusters of increasing nuclearities such as [Co4(H2O)2(PW9O34)2]10- and [Co4(H2O)2(P2W15O62)2]16- based on a Co4O16 ferromagnetic cluster, and the polyoxometalates [Co9(OH)3(H2O)6(HPO4)2(PW9O34)3]16- and [Ni9(OH)3-(H2O)6(HPO4)2(PW9O34)3]16- based on a nonanuclear M9O36 cluster. 3) The preparation of LB films of the giant heteropolyoxomolybdate, [Na3(NH4)12][Mo57Fe6(NO)6O174(OH)3-(H2O)24]76 H2O.  相似文献

The relative energies of beta Keggin heteropolytungstates, X(n+) W12O40(8-n)-, decrease as X(n+) is varied within period 3, from P5+ to Si4+ to Al3+. With heating of alpha-H5Ga3+ W12O40 at 200 degrees C in water, an equilibrated mixture of alpha (T(d); one 183W NMR signal) and beta (C(3v); three signals; 1:2:1 ratio) isomers is obtained. From deltaG(exp) = -RT ln K(beta-->alpha), in which (from 71Ga NMR spectra) K(beta-->alpha) (= [alpha]/[beta]) = 5.0, beta-GaW12O40(5-) is 0.65 kcal mol(-1) higher in energy than alpha-GaW12O40(5-). This finding is evaluated by analysis of the X-ray crystal structure alpha-K2Na3[GaW12O40] x 9.3 H2O [trigonal, space group P3(2)21, a = 18.9201(13) A, b = 18.9201(13) A, c = 12.5108(12) A, Z = 3, T = 100(2)K], comparison of the Shannon and Prewitt radii and Pauling electronegativities of Al3+ and Ga3+, and insight from density functional theory calculations, which predicted Ebeta - Ealpha = 0.32 kcal mol(-1).  相似文献

The isotypic title compounds Ba4Pr7[Si12N23O][BN3], Ba4Nd7[Si12N23O][BN3], and Ba4Sm7[Si12N23O][BN3] were prepared by reaction of Pr, Nd, or Sm, with barium, BaCO3, Si(NH)2, and poly(boron amide imide) in nitrogen atmosphere in tungsten crucibles using a radiofrequency furnace at temperatures up to 1650 C. They were obtained as main products (approximately 70%) embedded in a very hard glass matrix in the form of intense dark green (Pr), orange-brown (Sm), or dark red (Nd) large single crystals, respectively. The stoichiometric composition of Ba4Sm7[Si12N23O][BN3] was verified by a quantitative elemental analysis. According to the single-crystal X-ray structure determinations (Ba4Ln7[Si12N23][BN3], Z= , P6 with Ln = Pr: a = 1225.7(1), c = 544.83(9) pm, R1 = 0.013, wR2 = 0.030; Ln = Nd: a = 1222.6(1), c = 544.6(1) pm, R1 = 0.017, wR2 = .039; Ln = Sm: a = 1215.97(5), c = 542.80(5) pm, R1 = 0.047, wR2 = 0.099) all three compounds are built up by a framework structure [Si12N23O]23- of corner-sharing SiX4 tetrahedrons (X = O, N). The oxygen atoms are randomly distributed over the X positions. The trigonal-planar orthonitridoborate ions [BN3]6- and also the Ln(3)3+ are situated in hexagonal cages of the framework (bond lengths Si-(N/O) 169-179 pm for Ln=Pr). The remaining Ba2+ and Ln3- ions are positioned in channels of the large-pored network. The trigonal-planar [BN3]6- ions have a B-N distance of 147.1(6) pm (for Ln = Pr). Temperature-dependent susceptibility measurements for Ba4Nd7[Si12N23O][BN3] revealed Curie-Weiss behavior above 60 K with an experimental magnetic moment of muexp = 3.36(5) microB/Nd. The deviation from Curie-Weiss behavior below 60 K may be attributed to crystal field splitting of the J = 9/2 ground state of the Nd3+ ions. No magnetic ordering is evident down to 4.2 K.  相似文献
