This is the second of three articles that deal with estimating the reliability of classification algorithms. It examines the statistical methods used for point estimation of the reliability of classifiers in the Bayesian approach. The case of unequally weighted precedents is considered. This paper introduces a new parameter estimation method, named E-Bayesian estimation method, to estimate reliability derived from Binomial distribution. The definition of E-Bayesian estimation of the reliability is proposed, the formulas of E-Bayesian estimation and hierarchical Bayesian estimation of the reliability are also provided. Finally, it is shown, through a numerical example, that the new method is much simpler than hierarchical Bayesian estimation in practice.  相似文献

对供应链网络可靠性进行界定和分析,以节点企业间的协同为基础,得到可靠度计算模型,以此为依据采集实证样本无失效运行的数据.根据供应链网络可靠性统计特性,建立一种多层Bayes估计方法,应用于样本可靠性评估中.在估计失效率的基础上,对供应链网络可靠度进行估计,对仿真结果进行分析,显示多层Bayes估计方法应用效果较好,精确度高,反映了参数不确定性对供应链网络可靠性的影响,能够较好地解决依据无失效数据判定供应链网络可靠性水平的问题.  相似文献

本文在几何分布的先验分布为幂分布时研究了其在熵损失函数下,可靠度的多层Bayes估计及其容许性,给出了可靠度的多层Bayes估计的计算公式.通过实例验证,在熵损失函数下计算出的几何分布可靠度的多层Bayes估计是稳健的,并进一步表明在熵损失函数下计算出的几何分布可靠度的多层Bayes估计值比其在平方损失函数下算出的结果精度更高.  相似文献

在多源验前信息的情况下,以k/n(G)系统为例,讨论了如何对系统的可靠性指标进行估计的问题.在多个验前信息源给出了系统可靠性指标点估计的情况下,利用多层Bayes方法及经验Bayes方法对这些数据进行融合,并给出系统可靠性指标的Bayes点估计,同时对系统可靠度的置信区间也作了讨论.仿真算例表明这种处理方法是合理有效的.  相似文献

Research in traditional reliability theory is based mainly on probist reliability, which uses a binary state assumption and classical reliability distributions. In the present paper the binary state assumption has been replaced by a fuzzy state assumption, thereby leading to profust reliability estimates of a powerloom plant, which is modelled as a two unit gracefully degradable system. Results of Bowles and Palaez [Application of fuzzy logic to reliability engineering, Proc. IEEE 83(3) (1995) 435–449] have been deduced as a particular case of results presented here. It is also recognized that estimation of system parameters such as failure rates, is vital in reliability estimation. Available methods for such estimation do not cover the underlying uncertainty in the failure data collection involving human judgment, evaluation and decision. In this paper we introduce a new approach based on fuzzy set theory to estimate such system parameters.  相似文献

This paper deals with the analysis of the determinability of the parameters of mathematical models of biological systems and the estimation of the reliability range of the parameter vectors. The results of the analysis are used to design further experiments for improving the estimation of the parameters. This procedure was illustrated by the investigation of intravenous radiopalmitate kinetics in rats with a special regard to the speed of labelled fatty acid outflow from plasma and lipoprotein formation in the liver. On the basis of the course of parameter sensitivity functions a new theoretical experiment, contributing to a marked improvement of the parameter reliability estimation, was designed. The method was algorithmized in the HYPER and EIGEN programs developed for the EAI690 hybrid computer system.  相似文献

It is widely accepted that the Weibull distribution plays an important role in reliability applications. The reliability of a product or a system is the probability that the product or the system will still function for a specified time period when operating under some confined conditions. Parameter estimation for the three parameter Weibull distribution has been studied by many researchers in the past. Maximum likelihood has traditionally been the main method of estimation for Weibull parameters along with other recently proposed hybrids of optimization methods. In this paper, we use a stochastic optimization method called the Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) to carry out the estimation. The method is extremely flexible and inference for any quantity of interest is easily obtained.  相似文献
