Both high and low frequency relaxation oscillations have been observed in an argon capacitive discharge connected to a peripheral grounded chamber through a slot with dielectric spacers. The oscillations, observed from time-varying optical emission of the main discharge chamber, show, for example, a high frequency (46 kHz) relaxation oscillation at 100 mTorr, with an absorbed power near the peripheral breakdown, and a low frequency (2.7-3.7 Hz) oscillation, at a higher absorbed power. The high frequency oscillation is found to ignite a plasma in the slot, but usually not in the periphery. The high frequency oscillation is interpreted by using an electromagnetic model of the slot impedance, combined with the circuit analysis of the system including a matching network. The model is further developed by using a parallel connection of variable peripheral capacitance to analyse the low frequency oscillation. The results obtained from the model are in agreement with the experimental observations and indicate that a variety of behaviours are dependent on the matching conditions.  相似文献

The dielectric properties of free-standing diamond films grown by the dc arc-jet plasma method are measured by an impedance analyser in the temperature range of 298-573K and at frequencies between 1000Hz and 1MHz.In the temperature and frequency ranges,the loss tangent can be expressed as a function of temperature and frequency.The loss tangent increases slightly with increasing temperature and frequency,The dielectric properties of the diamond films decrease with the increasing deposited temperature.The structure and quality of diamond films have been analysed by scanning electron microscopy,x-ray diffraction and raman spectroscopy.  相似文献

The photoacoustic model of multilayer with a strong-absorbing surface layer is developed. The phase of ph0toacoustie signal is measured as a function of modulated frequency using apparatus totally controlled by a computer system. The thermal diffusivity, effusivity as well as thickness of several buried layers are obtained independently through the best fit of experimental data according to the theoretical model. The multilayers of thin metal and alloy film are investigated. This method is proved to be valuable particularly in nondestructive examination of subsurface physical properties.  相似文献

The method of numerical analysis is employed to study the resonance mechanism of the lumped parameter system model for acoustic mine detection. Based on the basic principle of the acoustic resonance technique for mine detection and the characteristics of low-frequency acoustics, the “soil-mine” system could be equivalent to a damping “mass-spring” resonance model with a lumped parameter analysis method. The dynamic simulation software, Adams, is adopted to analyze the lumped parameter system model numerically. The simulated resonance frequency and anti-resonance frequency are 151 Hz and 512 Hz respectively, basically in agreement with the published resonance frequency of 155 Hz and anti-resonance frequency of 513 Hz, which were measured in the experiment. Therefore, the technique of numerical simulation is validated to have the potential for analyzing the acoustic mine detection model quantitatively. The influences of the soil and mine parameters on the resonance characteristics of the soil–mine system could be investigated by changing the parameter setup in a flexible manner.  相似文献

A new technique is developed to measure the electrical resistivity of conductor with a nonuniform tem- perature profile. The calculation method is derived from the temperature dependence of the electrical resistivity. The apparatus consists mainly of a high temperature environmental chamber, a power circuit of heating, a twenty-wavelength pyrometer, and a scanning pyrometer. After getting the resistance from the voltage drop of the specimen, the electrical resistivity in a wide temperature range of the specimen can be obtained by our calculation model. Preliminary results of the electrical resistivity of SRM 8424 over a wide temperature range (1000-3000 K) are presented. The perfect consistency between the measurement results and the nominal values justifies the validity of this technique.  相似文献

High quality single crystal CrAs was grown by Sn flux method.The results of magnetic susceptibility and electrical resistivity are reported in a temperature range of 2 to 800 K.At low temperatures,a T2 dependence of resistivity is observed showing a Fermi-liquid behavior.The Kadowaki-Woods ratio is found to be 1×10-5 μΩ cm mol2 K2 mJ-2,which fits well to the universal value for many correlated electron systems.At about 270 K,a clear magnetic transition is observed with sharp changes of resistivity and susceptibility.Above 270 K,a linear-temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility is observed up to 700 K,which resembles the T-dependent magnetic susceptibility of parents of iron-pnictides superconductors.  相似文献

We propose a physical model of estimating noise and asymmetry brought by high isolation Bi-directional erbiumdoped fiber amplifiers(Bi-EDFAs), no spontaneous lasing even with high gain, in longdistance fiber-optic time and frequency(T/F) synchronization system. It is found that the Rayleigh scattering noise can be suppressed due to the high isolation design, but the amplified spontaneous emission(ASE) noise generated by the high isolation Bi-EDFA and the bidirectional asymmetry of the transmission link caused by the high isolation Bi-EDFA will deteriorate the stability of the system.The calculated results show that under the influence of ASE noise, the frequency instability of a 1200 km system composed of 15 high isolation Bi-EDFAs is 1.773 × 10-13/1 s. And the instability caused by asymmetry is 2.6064 × 10-16/30000–35000 s if the total asymmetric length of the bidirectional link length is 30 m. The intensity noises originating from the laser and detector, the transfer delay fluctuations caused by the variation in ambient temperature and the jitter in laser output wavelength are also studied. The experiment composed of three high isolation Bi-EDFAs is done to confirm the theoretical analysis. In summary, the paper shows that the short-term instability of the T/F synchronization system composed of high isolation Bi-EDFAs is limited by the accumulation of ASE noise of amplifiers and the laser frequency drift, while the long-term instability is limited by the periodic variation in ambient temperature and the asymmetry of the amplifiers.The research results are useful for pointing out the direction to improve the stability of the fiber-optic T/F synchronization system.  相似文献

The dielectric properties of the nematic mesophase, p-methoxy benzylidene p-decyl aniline(MBDA), measured in planar geometry with a function of frequency and temperature are investigated in detail. The complex dielectric permittivity(ε' and ε') is also studied at a bias voltage of 10 V for planar aligned sample cell of nematic mesophase. The dielectric permittivity with bias voltage attains a higher( 2 times) value than that without bias voltage at a temperature of 56℃,which is due to the fact that the linking group of nematic molecules is internally interacted with an applied bias voltage.This is supported by observing an enhanced dielectric permittivity of nematic liquid crystal(LC) in the presence of bias voltage, which can be fully explained as the increasing of the corresponding dipole moment. The dielectric relaxation behaviors of nematic LC are also demonstrated for planar aligned sample cell. The remarkable results are observed that the relaxation frequency shifts into low frequency region with the increase of the bias voltage applied to the planar aligned sample cells. The dielectric relaxation spectra are fitted by Cole–Cole nonlinear curve fitting for nematic mesophase in order to determine the dielectric strength.  相似文献

Based on the interaction mechanism between tip and sample in the contact mode of a scanning probe acoustic microscope (SPAM), an active mass of the sample is introduced in the mass-spring model. The tip motion and frequency response of the sample vibration mode in the SPAM are calculated by the Lagrange equation with dissipation function. For the silicon tip and glass assemblage in the SPAM the frequency response is simulated and it is in agreement with the experimental result. The living myoblast cells on the glass slide are imaged at resonance frequencies of the SPAM system, which are 20 kHz, 30 kHz and 120 kHz. It is shown that good contrast of SPAM images could be obtained when the system is operated at the resonance frequencies of the system in high and low-frequency regions.  相似文献

Alternating current(AC) conductivity and dielectric properties of thermally evaporated Au/Pt OEP/Au thin films are investigated each as a function of temperature(303 K–473 K) and frequency(50 Hz–5 MHz).The frequency dependence of AC conductivity follows the Jonscher universal dynamic law.The AC-activation energies are determined at different frequencies.It is found that the correlated barrier hopping(CBH) model is the dominant conduction mechanism.The variation of the frequency exponent s with temperature is analyzed in terms of the CBH model.Coulombic barrier height Wm,hopping distance Rω,and the density of localized states N(EF) are valued at different frequencies.Dielectric constant ε_1(ω,T) and dielectric loss ε_2(ω,T) are discussed in terms of the dielectric polarization process.The dielectric modulus shows the non-Debye relaxation in the material.The extracted relaxation time by using the imaginary part of modulus(M')is found to follow the Arrhenius law.  相似文献

Thermopowers in superconducting GdBa2Cu3O7 thin films are measured in the temperature range of 77-300K. The results support that the intrinsic behavior in 123 system is as following; Sab is approximately temperature independent with a small positive value, and sc is linear temperature dependent with a comparatively large value. It can be explained by two-band model and phonon-aided electron jump model respectively.  相似文献

Starting with the Einstein equation of weak gravitational field, a new scheme of generating high frequency gravitational wave by composite toroidal electromagnetic resonant system is discussed. The system is a composite toroidal electromagnetic resonant cavity consisting of a vacuum and a dielectric regions. In the focal region of the cavity under the condition of allowable ohmic losses in the cavity walls, the amplitude of the standing gravitational wave is almost two orders of magnitude higher than that in usual cavity with the same volume. A concrete numerical calculation shows that a composite toroidal electromagnetic resonant system with a volume 2×108cm3 could generate the standing gravitational wave with an amplitude h=10-33, wavelength λg=40 cm in its focal region. This is comparable to the typical order of magnitude of several astrophysical sources, and it would be displayed by electromagnetic detection due to very high frequency.  相似文献

An approach for long-range passive impulsive source ranging with a single receiver in shallow water is proposed,which utilizes the frequency spectrum of the warped signal autocorrelation function via warping transform.For an ideal waveguide,there are invariable frequency features both in the frequency spectrum of the warped signal corresponding to modal cut-off frequencies and the warped signal autocorrelation function due to modal interference.These intrinsic frequency features can be used to passive source ranging.So,the approximate relationship between the frequency of warped signal at an unknown source range and the intrinsic frequency extracted by the time warping transform is derived.These rules can be generalized to an actual shallow water waveguide.Employing an acoustic model to offer the invariable frequency spectrum features,the impulsive signal data collected by a single hydrophone in the North Yellow Sea in December 2011 are analyzed to verify the proposed source ranging approach.The estimated ranges are in good agreement with the ranges measured by GPS,and the mean relative error of range estimation is less than 10%.  相似文献

This paper reports that in the quantization of electromagnetic field in the dielectrics, the wave equation with regard to the Green function is analytically solved by a direct integral method for a quadratic continuous nonlinear absorptive dielectric medium. The quantization of the electromagnetic field in such a nonlinear absorptive dielectric is carried out for which the material dielectric function is assumed as a separable variable about the frequency and the space coordinate. The vacuum field fluctuations for different spatial continuous variations of dielectric function are numerically calculated, which shows that the present result is self-consistent.  相似文献

By using the Lewis-Riesenfeld invariant theory, we have studied the dynamical and the geometric phases in a generalized time-dependent A-type Jaynes Cummings model. We lind that, compared with the dynamical phases, the geometric phases in a cycle case are independent of the frequency of the photon field, the coupling coefficient between photons and atoms, and the atom transition frequency. It is pointed out that the geometric phases in a cycle ease can be measured under the case of a stronger time-dependent photon field and a stronger coupling photon-atom system. On the other hand, the geometric phases of the model may be measured in the composition of cold atoms.  相似文献

With the pulse-echo technique the ultrasonic attenuation of shear waves in amorphous PdSiAgalloy has been measured as a function of frequency and temperature.At room temperature an ap-proximate f-squared frequency dependence is obtained between 10 and 240 MHz.Below 150K,at fixed frequency there is a slow increase of attenuation with decreasing temperature and a smallultrasonic absorption peak at 35K.The linear dependence of the relative variation of the soundvelocity is observed from 35 to 300K;the temperature coefficient of sound velocity is—1.58×10~(-4)/K.Below 35K,the relative varation of the sound velocity begins to deviate from the linear dependence.  相似文献

When a high frequency tone is amplitude-modulated by another sine wave of low frequency,a distinctand predominating pitch corresponding to the frequency of modulating wave can be heard and it changeswhen the frequency of modulator is in turn modulated by a rectangula pulse.Thresholds of frequencydiscrimination of such an amplitude-modulator(f_(am))can be measured in guinea pigs by recording the slowcortical respones evoked by frequency-modulation of the modulator.f_(am)in relation to frequencies of thecarrier and modulator,to the depth of amplitude modulation,to the duration of the rectangular pulse and tosound intensity are systematically studied.The ability of guinea pig for discrimating the modulator seemsrather good.At optimal conditions the f_(am)of guinea pig amounts to 3—4 Hz,quite close to its frequencydifferential thresholds for pure tones.f_(am)in guinea pig and in human(measured by psychophysical method)are compared and mechanism of perception and discrimination of the modulator pitch is disc  相似文献

This paper proposes a simple method to achieve the optical transfer function of a circular pupil wavefront coding system with a separable phase mask in Cartesian coordinates.Based on the stationary phase method,the optical transfer function of the circular pupil system can be easily obtained from the optical transfer function of the rectangular pupil system by modifying the cut-off frequency and the on-axial modulation transfer function.Finally,a system with a cubic phase mask is used as an example to illustrate the way to achieve the optical transfer function of the circular pupil system from the rectangular pupil system.  相似文献

<正>An iterative method in the Kirchhoff approximation is proposed for high frequency multiple electromagnetic scattering from two-dimensional dielectric sea surface.The multiple interaction of the scattering field is characterized with the corrected electromagnetic currents of the wind-driven sea surface.The actual surface currents are approximated with the iterative solution of the corrected currents.A newly developed sea spectrum,Elfouhaily spectrum,is utilized to build the sea surface model.The shadowing correction is improved by the Depth-Buffer algorithm.The validity of the iterative Kirchhoff approximation is verified by the agreement of backscattering coefficients with the measured data.  相似文献

Perovskite BiMnO_3 samples are successfully synthesized by the co-precipitation method at relatively low pressure and moderate temperature.The temperature dependences of resistivity are measured and systematically investigated.It is shown that the electrical resistivity increases sharply with the decrease of temperature above 210 K and the fitted results demonstrate that the thermally activated conduction model is the dominant conduction mechanism for the electron transport behaviors in this temperature region.A dual conducting mechanism,i.e.,the variable range hopping and thermal activated conduction,is suggested to be responsible for the transport behaviors of BiMnO_3 in the region of 180–200 K.Moreover,the resistivity increases slightly with the decrease of temperature below 180 K and the transport is governed by the variable range hopping mechanism.  相似文献
