We show that for smooth manifolds X and Y, any isomorphism between the algebras of generalized functions (in the sense of Colombeau) on X, resp. Y is given by composition with a unique generalized function from Y to X. We also characterize the multiplicative linear functionals from the Colombeau algebra on X to the ring of generalized numbers. The generalized trigonometric functions occur as an eigenfunction of the Dirichlet problem for the one-dimensional pp-Laplacian. The generalized hyperbolic functions are defined similarly. Some classical inequalities for trigonometric and hyperbolic functions, such as Mitrinovi?–Adamovi?’s inequality, Lazarevi?’s inequality, Huygens-type inequalities, Wilker-type inequalities, and Cusa–Huygens-type inequalities, are generalized to the case of generalized functions.  相似文献

In this paper, cone-pseudoinvex and strongly cone-pseudoinvex functions are defined. A pair of Mond–Weir type symmetric dual multiobjective programs is formulated over arbitrary cones. Weak duality, strong duality and converse duality theorems are established using the above-defined functions. The paper is devoted to the study of the fractional integral operator, which is a negative real power of the singular wave operator generated by Bessel operator using weighted generalized functions. In this paper we investigate the diffusive zero-relaxation limit of the following multi-D semilinear hyperbolic system in pseudodifferential form:


We analyze the singular convergence, as , in the case which leads to a limit system of parabolic type. The analysis is carried out by using the following steps:
(i)
We single out algebraic ``structure conditions' on the full system, motivated by formal asymptotics, by some examples of discrete velocity models in kinetic theories.
(ii)
We deduce ``energy estimates ', uniformly in , by assuming the existence of a symmetrizer having the so-called block structure and by assuming ``dissipativity conditions' on .
(iii)
We assume a Kawashima type condition and perform the convergence analysis by using generalizations of compensated compactness due to Tartar and Gérard.
Finally, we include examples that show how to use our theory to approximate any quasilinear parabolic systems, satisfying the Petrowski parabolicity condition, or general reaction diffusion systems, including Chemotaxis and Brusselator type systems.

The notion of a good quotient relation has been introduced as an attempt to generalize the notion of a quotient algebra to relations on an algebra which are not necessarily congruences. In order to make it possible to prove generalized versions of 'power isomorphism theorems', the more restrictive notions of very good, Hoare good and Smyth good relation have been introduced. In this paper we describe the relationships between Hoare good, Smyth good and very good relations. As a consequence, we prove that every structure preserving relation on an algebra is very good.
