A U(n) generalization of Ramanujan's 1Ψ1 summation

In this paper we derive a U(n) generalization of Ramanujan's ₁Ψ₁ summation directly from a recent U(n) multiple series refinement of the q-binomial theorem. We also obtain a new generalization of the Macdonald identities for A⁽¹⁾_l.     

迷向和为五的SO(7)/U(1)×U(2)上的不变爱因斯坦度量

本文研究了迷向和为五的广义旗流形上的不变爱因斯坦度量的问题.利用计算Grobner基的方法来研究爱因斯坦方程组的解,获得了广义旗流形SO(7)/U(1)×U(2)上的不变爱因斯坦度量的结果,推广了利用数学实验里的用Nsolve command命令来计算爱因斯坦方程组的结果.     

Two stochastic models of a random walk in the U(n)-spherical duals of U(n + 1)

The random walk to be considered takes place in the δ-spherical dual of the group U(n + 1), for a fixed finite dimensional irreducible representation δ of U(n). The transition matrix comes from the three-term recursion relation satisfied by a sequence of matrix valued orthogonal polynomials built up from the irreducible spherical functions of type δ of SU(n + 1). One of the stochastic models is an urn model and the other is a Young diagram model.     

SU(3)×U(1)规范理论中的弱电相互作用模型

本文利用手征混合表象构造了一个SU(3)×U(1)规范理论中的弱电相互作用模型.在sin^2θ_W=1/4的极限下,这个模型在低能范围则化为简单SU(2)×U(1)模型.当sin^2θ_W略小于1/4时,中性流部分有小的修正,可以通过实验进行检验.     

U(3,Z_p),U(4,Z_p)及U(5,Z_p)的共轭类

不动点集为RP(8)(U) P(8,2n-1)的对合

Generalizations of Milne’s U(n + 1) q-Chu-Vandermonde summation

We derive two identities for multiple basic hyper-geometric series associated with the unitary U(n+1) group. In order to get the two identities, we first present two known q-exponential operator identities which were established in our earlier paper. From the two identities and combining them with the two U(n + 1) q-Chu-Vandermonde summations established by Milne, we arrive at our results. Using the identities obtained in this paper, we give two interesting identities involving binomial coefficients. In addition, we also derive two nontrivial summation equations from the two multiple extensions.

Sections of U(2n)/Sp(s) over S4n−1

We describe the sections of U(2n)/Sp(s) over S⁴ⁿ⁻¹ in terms of the sections of the symplectic Stiefel manifold Sp(n)/Sp(s) and we express the orders of obstructions to sectioning U(2n)/Sp(s) in terms of orders of obstructions to sectioning Sp(n)/Sp(s). In certain cases we give the exact values of these orders.     

(U(p, q), U(p − 1, q)) is a generalized Gelfand pair

Denote by G = U(p, q) the orthogonal group of the sesqui-linear quadratic form on and let H ₁ = U(p − 1, q) be the stabilizer of the first unit vector e ₁. Let H ₀ = U(1) and set H = H ₀ × H ₁. Define the character χ _l of H by where . Define the anti-involution σ on G by . In this note we show that any distribution T on G satisfying T(h ₁ gh ₂) = χ _l (h ₁ h ₂) T(g) (g ∈ G; h ₁, h ₂ ∈ H) is invariant under the anti-involution σ. This result implies that (G,  H ₁) is a generalized Gelfand pair.

解方程 sin5x=sin4x。解法一:因为与a有相同的正弦值的弧度数x的集合是{x|x=kπ (-1)~ka,k∈Z},所以原方程可以化成 5x=kπ (-1)4x (k∈Z) 解之得:x=kπ/5 (-1)~(k 1) 所以原方程的解集是{x|2= 解法二:原方程等价为sin4x=sin5x,m同解法一得:4x=kπ (-1)~k5x 解之得:x=kπ/4 (-1)~(k 1)5(k∈z)     

Integration of the SL(2,ℝ/U(1) Gauged WZNW Theory by Reduction and Quantum Parafermions

Using a gauge-invariant reduction, we directly integrate the SL(2,/U(1) WZNW theory. We prove that the conserved parafermions in this theory are coset currents. The parafermion algebra, the energy–momentum tensor, and auxiliary parafermions are quantized in a self-consistent manner.     

投影体与U(P)的极值性质

为了研究著名的Schneider投影问题,E.Lutwak,D.Yang和张高勇最近引进了一个关于对称多胞形的新的仿射不变量U(P),并提出了关于U(P)下界的猜想.本文就二维、三维在一特定条件下的情形给予了此猜想的肯定回答并给出了严格的数学证明.     

相互作用玻色子模型Ⅱ及其U(5)极限

在原子核的相互作用玻色子模型Ⅱ(简称IBM-Ⅱ)中,中子对和质子对被考虑为两种类型的玻色子,这样的物理图象显然更为合理。沿着这样的图象发展,有一些新的问题需要加以解决。在相继的几篇文章中,将以李群的表示理论为基础对这些问题作比较系统的探讨。本文首先对IBM-Ⅱ作概要的讨论,然后讨论U(5)极限情况。我们给出了原子核按李代数链U(6)u(5)SO(5)SO(3)分类的IBM-Ⅱ波函数以及具有这种动力学对称性的能谱公式。最后对所得结果作简要讨论(为了和讨论奇核的超李代数链一致,文中都用李代数链)。     

Special representations of the groups U(∞, 1) and O(∞, 1) and the associated representations of the current groups U(∞, 1) X and O(∞, 1) X in quasi-poisson spaces

A method for constructing representations of the current groups O(n, 1) ^X and U(n, 1) ^X , n ε ℕ, developed in the previous papers by the authors is generalized to the case of infinite n. This leads to an interesting difference in construction (absent for finite n) between the cases of the orthogonal and unitary groups, which is due to the different character of special representations of the groups of coefficients.
