We first establish sufficient conditions on the coefficients of the Ishikawa iteration process to guarantee that, if the Ishikawa iterates of a continuous selfmap T, of the unit interval, converge, then they converge to a fixed point of T. Recently, Ceng, Guu and Yao introduced an iterative scheme by viscosity-like approximation method to approximate the fixed point of nonexpansive mappings and solve some variational inequalities in Hilbert space (see Ceng et al. (2009) [9]). Takahashi and Takahashi proposed an iteration scheme to solve an equilibrium problem and approximate the fixed point of nonexpansive mapping by viscosity approximation method in Hilbert space (see Takahashi and Takahashi (2007) [12]). In this paper, we introduce an iterative scheme by viscosity approximation method for finding a common element of the set of a countable family of nonexpansive mappings and the set of an equilibrium problem in a Hilbert space. We prove the strong convergence of the proposed iteration to the unique solution of a variational inequality.  相似文献

We introduce the concept of virtually stable selfmaps of Hausdorff spaces, which generalizes virtually nonexpansive selfmaps of metric spaces introduced in the previous work by the first author, and explore various properties of their convergence sets and fixed point sets. We also prove that the fixed point set of a virtually stable selfmap satisfying a certain kind of homogeneity is always star-convex.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to present new hybrid Ishikawa iteration process by the generalized f-projection operator for finding a common element of the fixed point set for two countable families of weak relatively nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of the system of generalized Ky Fan inequalities in a uniformly convex and uniformly smooth Banach space. Furthermore, we show that our new iterative scheme converges strongly to a common element of the afore mentioned sets. As applications, we apply our results to obtain some new results for finding a solution of a common fixed point of two countable in finite families, a system of generalized Ky Fan inequalities and a common zero-point problem for general B-monotone and maximal monotone operators in Banach spaces. The results presented in this paper improve and extend important recent results.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a Nielsen type number for any selfmap f of a partially ordered set of spaces. This Nielsen theory relates to various existing Nielsen type fixed point theories for different settings such as maps of pairs of spaces, maps of triads, fibre preserving maps, equivariant maps and iterates of maps, by exploring their underlying poset structures.  相似文献

The purpose of this article is to investigate the problem of finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a non-expansive mapping and the set of solutions of the variational inequality problem for a monotone, Lipschitz continuous mapping. We introduce a hybrid Mann iterative scheme with perturbed mapping which is based on the well-known Mann iteration method and hybrid (or outer approximation) method. We establish a strong convergence theorem for three sequences generated by this hybrid Mann iterative scheme with perturbed mapping. Utilizing this theorem, we also construct an iterative process for finding a common fixed point of two mappings, one of which is non-expansive and the other taken from the more general class of Lipschitz pseudocontractive mappings.  相似文献

This paper deals with a general fixed point iteration for computing a point in some nonempty closed and convex solution set included in the common fixed point set of a sequence of mappings on a real Hilbert space. The proposed method combines two strategies: viscosity approximations (regularization) and inertial type extrapolation. The first strategy is known to ensure the strong convergence of some successive approximation methods, while the second one is intended to speed up the convergence process. Under classical conditions on the operators and the parameters, we prove that the sequence of iterates generated by our scheme converges strongly to the element of minimal norm in the solution set. This algorithm works, for instance, for approximating common fixed points of infinite families of demicontractive mappings, including the classes of quasi-nonexpansive operators and strictly pseudocontractive ones.  相似文献

In this paper, we first reduce the existence of traveling wave solutions in a delayed lattice competition-cooperation system to the existence of a pair of upper and lower solutions by means of Schauder’s fixed point theorem and the cross iteration scheme, and then we construct a pair of upper and lower solutions to obtain the existence and nonexistence of traveling wave solutions. We also consider the asymptotic behaviour of any nonnegative traveling wave solutions at negative infinity.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce an iteration process of finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping and the set of solutions of a variational inequality problem for an inverse strongly-monotone mapping, and then obtain a weak convergence theorem. Using this result, we obtain a weak convergence theorem for a pair of a nonexpansive mapping and a strictly pseudocontractive mapping. Further, we consider the problem of finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping and the set of zeros of an inverse strongly-monotone mapping.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the split common fixed point problem for new demimetric mappings in Banach spaces. Using the idea of Mann’s iteration, we prove a weak convergence theorem for finding a solution of the split common fixed point problem in Banach spaces. Furthermore, using the idea of Halpern’s iteration, we obtain a strong convergence theorem for finding a solution of the problem in Banach spaces. Using these results, we obtain well-known and new weak and strong convergence theorems in Hilbert spaces and Banach spaces.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss a fixed point theorem for mappings derived by a pair of mappings satisfying weak(k, k/) contractive type condition on the tensor product spaces. Let X and Y be Banach spaces and T_1 : X γ Y → X and T_2: X γ Y → Y be two operators which satisfy weak(k, k/) contractive type condition. Using T_1 and T_2, we construct an operator T on X γ Y and show that T has a unique fixed point in a closed and bounded subset of X γ Y.We derive an iteration scheme converging to this unique fixed point of T. Conversely, using a weakly contractive mapping T, we construct a pair of mappings(T_1, T_2) satisfying weak(k, k/)contractive type condition on X γ Y and from this pair, we also obtain two self mappings S_1 and S_2 on X and Y respectively with unique fixed points.  相似文献

The aim of this article is to demonstrate that the variational iteration method “VIM” is in many instances a version of fixed point iteration methods such as Picard’s scheme. In a wide range of problems, the correction functional resulting from the VIM can be interpreted and/or formulated from well-known fixed point strategies using Green’s functions. A number of examples are included to assert the validity of our claim. The test problems include first and higher order initial value problems.  相似文献

In this paper, we analyze the convergence of a projected fixed‐point iteration on a Riemannian manifold of matrices with fixed rank. As a retraction method, we use the projector splitting scheme. We prove that the convergence rate of the projector splitting scheme is bounded by the convergence rate of standard fixed‐point iteration without rank constraints multiplied by the function of initial approximation. We also provide counterexample to the case when conditions of the theorem do not hold. Finally, we support our theoretical results with numerical experiments.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce an iterative process which converges strongly to a common element of fixed points of pseudo-contractive mapping and solutions of variational inequality problem for monotone mapping. As a consequence, we provide an iteration scheme which converges strongly to a common element of set of fixed points of finite family continuous pseudo-contractive mappings and solutions set of finite family of variational inequality problems for continuous monotone mappings.
