We present a level-set based technique to recover key characteristics of a defect or crack (e.g. location, length and shape) in a two-dimensional material from boundary electrical measurements. The key feature of this work is to extend the usual level-set technique for modeling volumetric objects to very thin objects. Two level-set functions are employed: the first one models the location and form of the crack, and the second one models its length and connectivity. An efficient gradient based method is derived in order to define evolution laws for these two level-set functions which minimize the least squares data misfit. Numerical experiments show the utility of this method even in the presence of a significant noise level in the measurements. A finite element method is used to simulate the electric field behavior in the presence of very thin objects.  相似文献

A level-set continuum surface force method is presented to compute two-phase flows with insoluble surfactant. Our method recasts the Navier–Stokes equations for a two-phase flow with insoluble surfactant as “one-fluid” formulation. Interfacial transport and interfacial jump conditions are treated using the level-set method and the discrete Dirac function. Based on the density-weighted projection method, a stable semi-implicit scheme is used to decouple the velocity components in solving the regularized Navier–Stokes equations. It allows numerical simulations for a wide range of viscosity ratios and density ratios.Numerical simulations on single drop deformation in a 2D shear flow are presented. Simulations on two drop interaction shows that surfactants can play a critical role in preventing drop coalescence. A fully 3D simulation demonstrating the physical interactions of multiple surfactant-laden drops is presented.  相似文献

Bias is one of the main parameters in laser gyroscopes. A traditional method to calibrate the bias may need to adjust the input axis of the gyro to remove the influence of the earth rotation rate from the measured bias. It will not be convenient for a single-axis turning table, thus this thesis brings forward a new method of measuring the angle between the gyro's input axis and the horizontal plane, without adjusting the input axis. Using this method, the bias of one laser gyro is measured. The result turns out to be a repeatability of 0.0026 °/h (1σ), which accords to the performance of the gyro, and this has validated this method.  相似文献

This paper presents an LMMSE-based method for the three-dimensional (3D) denoising of MR images assuming a Rician noise model. Conventionally, the LMMSE method estimates the noise-less signal values using the observed MR data samples within local neighborhoods. This is not an efficient procedure to deal with this issue while the 3D MR data intrinsically includes many similar samples that can be used to improve the estimation results. To overcome this problem, we model MR data as random fields and establish a principled way which is capable of choosing the samples not only from a local neighborhood but also from a large portion of the given data. To follow the similar samples within the MR data, an effective similarity measure based on the local statistical moments of images is presented. The parameters of the proposed filter are automatically chosen from the estimated local signal-to-noise ratio. To further enhance the denoising performance, a recursive version of the introduced approach is also addressed. The proposed filter is compared with related state-of-the-art filters using both synthetic and real MR datasets. The experimental results demonstrate the superior performance of our proposal in removing the noise and preserving the anatomical structures of MR images.  相似文献

提出了一种基于混沌映射和乘同余法构建单向散列函数的算法. 该算法通过乘同余法生成伪随机序列作为系统的初始值, 把明文信息的美国标准信息交换码(ASCII码) 归一化后作为混沌映射的初始值, 经过可变步长的混沌数字量化后, 提取出128 bit的散列值. 理论分析和仿真结果表明: 该算法具有较好的不可逆性、 抗碰撞性、 防伪造性、 初值敏感性以及较高地运行速度.  相似文献

A three-dimensional Eulerian method is presented for simulating dynamic systems comprising multiple compressible solid and fluid components where internal boundaries are tracked using level-set functions. Aside from the interface interaction calculation within mixed cells, each material is treated independently and the governing constitutive laws solved using a conservative finite volume discretisation based upon the solution of Riemann problems to determine the numerical fluxes. The required reconstruction of mixed cell volume fractions and cut cell geometries is presented in detail using the level-set fields. High-order accuracy is achieved by incorporating the weighted-essentially non-oscillatory (WENO) method and Runge–Kutta time integration. A model for elastoplastic solid dynamics is employed formulated using the tensor of elastic deformation gradients permitting the equations to be written in divergence form. The scheme is demonstrated using selected one-dimensional initial value problems for which exact solutions are derived, a two-dimensional void collapse, and a three-dimensional simulation of a confined explosion.  相似文献

Fringe projection profilometry is widely used for three-dimensional shape measurement. In an oblique-angle projection, the fringe cycle is broadened on the reference plane. Phase errors are mainly caused by the nonlinear gamma of the projector and fringe cycle broadening. This study describes a phase error compensation method to eliminate these phase errors. A look-up table that stores phase errors is constructed for phase error compensation. Based on it, a new height equation is proposed. The experimental results show that the proposed method can compensate for the phase errors of the fringe projection profilometry, thereby improving the measurement accuracy significantly.  相似文献

A particle/level-set method is developed to capture the interface between two immiscible phases. No redistance equation is used for the level-set function which is built from an accurate cubic spline interpolation of the markers describing the interface. Mass losses which usually appear with level-set functions are drastically reduced. Interface coupling with the incompressible momentum equation is taken into account thanks to the ghost-fluid method. Indeed, the particles allow an accurate computation of the local interfacial curvatures, and the capillary part of the pressure jump computed across the interface is more accurately evaluated. Results on static drop show a large decrease of spurious currents compared to other methods. Scalar advection validations and convergence studies are carried out as well as tough test-cases involving large density ratios (typically air/water). A better agreement with literature results is shown compared to classical approaches.  相似文献

In this paper, the networks with optimal synchronizability are obtained using the local structure information. In scale-free networks, a node will be coupled by its neighbors with maximal degree among the neighbors if and only if the maximal degree is larger than its own degree. If the obtained coupled networks are connected, they are synchronization optimal networks. The connection probability of coupled networks is greatly affected by the average degree which usually increases with the average degree. This method could be further generalized by taking into account the degree of next-nearest neighbors, which will sharply increase the connection probability. Compared to the other proposed methods that obtain synchronization optimal networks, our method uses only local structure information and can hold the structure properties of the original scale-free networks to some extent. Our method may present a useful way to manipulate the synchronizability of real-world scale-free networks.  相似文献

The development of array processing methods to extract the useful characteristics of acoustic sources such as their locations and absolute levels, starting from the measured sound field is one of the main issues in aero-acoustics. The conventional beamforming method is a very popular technique investigated to solve the power level estimation problem. It has the advantage of being robust, easy to implement and cheap in computation time. However, this technique is also known for having poor spatial resolution capabilities which prevents the correct source levels being obtained for numerous practical applications. Deconvolution techniques of the result computed with CBF, with the point spread function of the array manifold, may restore the power levels of the acoustic sources that would be observed in the absence of the array resolution effects. However, the accuracy of the results provided by deconvolution methods is very sensitive to background noise, always present in acoustic measurements. This process should be carried out after the additive noise has been suitably attenuated and, ideally, the deconvolution operator should amplify the noise as little as possible. Another approach is described in the article. It consists in using a noise reference and a new technique called spectral estimation method with additive noise to remove both the smearing effect produced by the array response and the background noise. The technique has been applied to computer and experimental simulations conducted both in an anechoic chamber and in the test section of an open wind tunnel involving acoustic sources radiating in a noisy environment. The levels of the sources were found with a good level of accuracy and the background noise greatly reduced, confirming the validity of the approach and the satisfactory performance of the method proposed.  相似文献

A novel approach to extract flame fronts, which is called the conditioned level-set method with block division (CLSB), has been developed. Based on a two-phase level-set formulation, the conditioned initialization and region-lock optimiza-tion appear to be beneficial to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the flame contour identification. The original block- division strategy enables the approach to be unsupervised by calculating local self-adaptive threshold values autonomously before binarization. The CLSB approach has been applied to deal with a large set of experimental data involving swirl- stabilized premixed combustion in diluted regimes operating at atmospheric pressures. The OH-PLIF measurements have been carried out in this framework. The resulting images are, thus, featured by lower signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) than the ideal image; relatively complex flame structures lead to significant non-uniformity in the OH signal intensity; and, the mag- nitude of the maximum OH gradient observed along the flame front can also vary depending on flow or local stoichiometry. Compared with other conventional edge detection operators, the CLSB method demonstrates a good ability to deal with the OH-PLIF images at low SNR and with the presence of a multiple scales of both OH intensity and OH gradient. The robustness to noise sensitivity and intensity inhomogeneity has been evaluated throughout a range of experimental images of diluted flames, as well as against a circle test as Ground Truth (GT).  相似文献

The multi-material numerical simulation for energetic system that consists of a high explosive charge and an inert confinement is carried out with an accurate and state-of-the-art Eulerian method. An explosively driven copper tube results in a state of extreme temperature and pressure, coupled to a high speed structural response of metal due to a detonating high explosive (HE). We use the experimentally tuned Ignition and Growth (or JWL++) rate equation for the HE while the elasto-plastic response of inert is modeled by the Mie–Gruneisen equation of state (EOS) and the Johnson–Cook strength model. A new particle level-set based reactive Ghost Fluid Method (GFM) that imposes exact boundary conditions at the material’s interface according to physical restraints is developed to simulate the multi-material detonation problem. Our calculations reproduce the experimental data of both unconfined and confined rate stick problems, suggesting that the method is suitable for detonation simulation of energetic systems.  相似文献

A new iterative model updating method is proposed for reduced model using incomplete frequency response function (FRF) data. It uses a modified difference vector between the analytical and experimental FRF data to construct a linear sensitivity updating equation system. To improve the convergence performance of the proposed algorithm, a concept of pseudo master degree-of-freedom (DOF) is put forward and the finite element (FE) model is reduced to the measured and user selected pseudo DOFs. The FRFs at pseudo master DOFs are estimated using the impedance matrix of iteratively modified analytical model and the measured FRFs at master DOFs. They are only used to improve the sensitivity matrix and difference calculation between the analytical and experimental FRF data without introducing additional difference equation. At the end, a 25 truss structure is used to evaluate the performance of the proposed method.  相似文献

Nonuniform line broadening in quadrupole spin systems is analyzed. It is shown theoretically that this broadening is of the tensor type. This forms the basis of the method for analyzing the distribution of local inhomogeneities in the crystal lattice, which is verified experimentally on a sodium nitride sample.  相似文献
