Using the finite element method (FEM), we study the thermoelastic generation and the transmitted power spectra (TPS) of Laser-generated lower-order Lamb wave mode in an one-dimensional thin aluminum plate engraved by a periodic rectangular grating. The calculation verified that the equally good Lamb waves band gaps can also exist in an one-component periodic structure and the width and location of the band gaps can be regulated by the parameters of the depth of the grooves (h), the ratio of the lattice period to the plate thickness (D/L) and the ratio of the width of the grooves to the lattice period (d/D). Specially, we suggest that Lamb wave band gaps can be substantially enlarged by using multiple periodic systems which consist of several pieces of periodic structure with different D/L.  相似文献

A theoretical study is presented on the propagation properties of Lamb wave modes in phononic crystal slabs consisting of a row or more of parallel square cylinders placed periodically in the host material. The surfaces of the slabs are parallel to the axis of periodicity. The dispersion curves of Lamb wave modes are calculated based on the supercell method. The finite element method is employed to calculate the band structures and the transmission power spectra, which are in good agreement with the results by the supercell method. We also have found that the dispersion curves of Lamb waves are strongly dependent on the crystal termination, which is the position of the cut plane through the square cylinders. There exist complete or incomplete (truncated) layers of square cylinders with the change of the crystal termination. The influence of the crystal termination on the band gaps of Lamb wave modes is analyzed by numerical simulations. The variation of the crystal termination leads to obvious changes in the dispersion curves of the Lamb waves and the widths of the band gaps.  相似文献

Using finite element method, we have made a theoretically study of the band structure of Lamb wave in a locally resonant phononic crystal strip waveguide with periodic soft rubber attached on the two sides of epoxy main plate. The numerical results show that the Lamb wave band gap based on local resonant mechanism can be opened up in the stub strip waveguides, and the width of the local resonant band gap is narrower than that based on the Bragg scattering mechanism. The results also show that the stub shape and width have influence on the frequency and width of the Lamb wave band gap.  相似文献

In this paper a semi-analytical method is proposed to investigate the transmission band gaps of Lamb waves through repetitive structures in a waveguide. For a unit cell the scattering matrix is obtained by the Lamb mode matching technique at each artificially sliced interface and then substituted into the Bloch theorem to solve the eigenproblem incurred by cell repetition. The method is implemented on a ribbed plate. The band gaps in the dispersion curves are confirmed by the dips of Lamb wave transmission coefficients, and attributed to the coupled vibrations of Lamb modes in different sliced sections of the unit cell.  相似文献

Using supercell plane wave expansion method, the Lamb wave band structure of one-dimensional thin plate with periodic stubs is investigated. The numerical results show that flat bands will appear and band gap can exist in a low-frequency domain. The position of the flat bands and width of the low-frequency Lamb wave band gap can be tuned by the stub height, plate thickness and filling fraction. The band gap is obtained by opening the folding points of the same plate modes not the crossing point of different plate mode when the stub height is small.  相似文献

We suggest that Lamb wave band gaps in one-dimensional phononic crystals can be substantially enlarged by using multiple heterostructures which consist of several pieces of phononic crystal with different ratios of the thickness to the lattice period. This is possible because each substructure shows a different band gap and the band structure of a Lamb wave is strongly affected by the ratio of the plate thickness to the lattice period. The super-cell plane wave expansion method is employed to calculate band structures for the design of a silicon-based one-dimensional phononic crystal plate with large absolute forbidden bands. In this method, a low impedance medium is introduced to replace the free stress boundary, which largely reduces the computational complexity. The dependence of band gaps on structural parameters is investigated in detail. To prove the validity of the super-cell plane wave expansion, the transmitted power spectra of the Lamb wave are calculated by using a finite element method. With the detailed computation, the band-gap of a one-dimensional plate can be designed as required with appropriate structural parameters, which provides a guide to the fabrication of a Lamb wave phononic crystal.  相似文献

The band structure of a two-dimensional superconducting photonic crystal is investigated. This crystal is considered a periodic system of nonoverlapping cylinders that have a circular cross section and are infinite in length. The results are obtained using the method of plane wave expansion of eigenfunctions. The photonic band structure is analyzed for two temperatures, namely, in the vicinity of the superconducting transition point and far from it. The two-dimensional superconducting photonic crystal is found to have complete and incomplete band gaps at low temperatures. As the temperature increases, these band gaps shift toward the short-wavelength range.  相似文献

The characteristics of the cladding band structure of air-core photonic crystal fibers with silica rings in triangular lattice are investigated by using a standard plane wave method. The numerical results show that light can be localized in the air core by the photonic band gaps of the fiber. By increasing the air-filling fraction, the band gap edges of the low frequency photonic band gaps shift to shorter wavelength, whereas the band gap width decreases linearly. In order to make a specified light fall in the low frequency band gaps of the fiber, the interplay of the silica ring spacing and the air-filling fraction is also analyzed. It shows that the silica ring spacing increases monotonously when the air-filling fraction is increased, and the spacing range increases exponentially. This type fiber might have potential in infrared light transmission.  相似文献

在理想条件下,为了研究等离子体参数、填充率、入射角度和介质层相对介电常数对一维三元磁化等离子体光子晶体的禁带特性的影响,用由传输矩阵法计算得到的TE波任意角度入射时的左旋极化波(LCP)和右旋极化波(RCP)的透射系数来研究其禁带特性。结果表明,仅增加等离子体碰撞频率不能实现禁带宽度的拓展,改变等离子体频率、填充率和介质层的相对介电常数能实现对禁带宽度和数目的调谐。改变等离子体回旋频率能实现对右旋极化波的禁带的调谐,但对左旋极化波的禁带几乎无影响。入射角度的增大使得禁带低频区域带宽变大,而高频区域带宽则是将先减小再增大。  相似文献

研究了阶梯型折射率n22、n11(阶梯分布高度)的大小、对应的分布厚度、不同入射角以及缺陷模对阶梯函数型光子晶体透射特性的影响.由费马原理给出光在函数光子晶体中的运动方程,再由电磁传播理论给出函数光子晶体的传输矩阵,进一步推导出函数光子晶体的透射率以及电场分布的表达式.研究表明,1)随n22,n11大小或者厚度改变,其禁带变宽;2)随光的入射角增加,其禁带变窄;3)当加入缺陷层时,随着缺陷层介质折射率增加,缺陷模强度减小且位置发生红移;4)在函数光子晶体中,缺陷层前电场分布保持不变,而在缺陷层处以及之后的电场强度都明显增强,这不同于常规光子晶体的电场分布仅在缺陷层处局域增强.  相似文献

An analysis is given to the band structure of the two-dimensional phononic crystal plate constituted of a square array of elastic anisotropic, circular Pb cylinders embedded in elastic isotropic epoxy. The numerical results show that the band gap can be tuned by rotating the anisotropic material orientation. It is found that the influence of anisotropy on band gap of Lamb wave is clearly different from that on the band gap of bulk waves. The thickness of the system under study is a sensitive parameter to affect the influence of anisotropic materials on the normalized gap width.  相似文献

弹性波在声子晶体中传播时,会产生一定的频率禁带,声和振动在禁带中被禁止传播。本文将椭球散射体引入三维声子晶体中,采用平面波展开法计算了该系统的声波禁带结构。对于不同椭球半径的系统,其声波禁带的位置与大小有很大不同。结果表明:当晶格常数和填充率确定时,禁带受到椭球半径的影响;当确定椭球体的某一个半径和填充率时,第一禁带的最大值出现在另2个半径相等的情况下。  相似文献

利用连续小波变换对从铝合金板结构中俘获的Lamb波信号进行分析,获得波信号在时间-尺度域的等高线和等高线脊线.根据Lamb波的频散特征、时间-尺度域等高线脊线的斜率和波在不同尺度下的到达时间,识别了Lamb波信号中各信息包的模式,并匹配出基础阶模式窄频带Lamb波在铝合金板结构中传播的实际频散曲线.对试验的Lamb波信号分析的结果表明该方法对于研究和应用窄频带Lamb波的频散特性是有效的. 关键词: 连续小波变换 Lamb波 频散  相似文献

设计了一种多频局域共振型声子晶体板结构, 该结构由一薄板上附加周期性排列的多个双悬臂梁式子结构而构成. 由于多个双悬臂梁式子结构的低频振动与薄板振动的相互耦合作用, 这种局域共振型板结构可产生多个低频弯曲波带隙(禁带); 带隙频率范围内的板弯曲波会被禁止传播, 利用带隙可以实现对薄板的多个目标频率处低频减振. 本文针对这种局域共振型板结构进行了简化, 并基于平面波展开法建立了其弯曲波带隙计算理论模型; 基于该模型, 结合具体算例进行了带隙特性理论分析. 设计、制备了一种存在两个低频弯曲波带隙的局域共振型板结构样件, 通过激光扫描测振仪测试证实该结构存在两个低频带隙, 在带隙频率范围的板弯曲振动被显著衰减.  相似文献

Second-harmonic generation (SHG) in ferroelectric liquid crystal with a twist defect is studied by de Vries' solution. It is shown that the width of the photonic band gap for the SH wave is an important factor to determine the saturation length. 声子晶体管路的带隙特性,可以实现管路系统在特定频率下的噪声控制.利用二维模态匹配法推导出单个内插扩张室元胞的传递矩阵,结合Bloch定理,得到声子晶体管路的能带结构计算方法;验证了二维方法在计算能带结构时的准确性.研究发现,内插扩张室声子晶体管路存在布拉格带隙和局域共振带隙.进一步研究了晶格常数以及内插管长度对能带结构的影响,结果表明,晶格常数主要控制布拉格带隙,而内插管长度对局域共振带隙有较大的影响,并研究了两种参数变化下的带隙耦合.研究结果可以为管路降噪设计提供新的思路.  相似文献

采用平面波展开法计算了浅水表面波在底部按周期性钻孔结构下的能带,找到了完全带隙的出现.通过考虑方形孔按正方晶格排列、圆形孔按正方晶格和六角晶格排列等三种钻孔模型,发现带隙的数量、宽度、频率、位置与孔的面积、形状、方位角及其排列晶格等都有关.且这些规律与光子/声子晶体的情况相类似. 关键词: 周期性 水波 能带 带隙  相似文献

采用平面波展开法和时域有限差分法研究了二维色散和各向异性磁化等离子体光子晶体的色散特性.当波矢在周期平面时,由于外加磁场的作用使TE模的色散曲线出现两个不同区域的平带,改变磁场的大小不但可以控制平带的位置,而且可以控制光子带隙的位置和大小.增大背景材料的介电常数,可以形成全方向光子带隙,随着背景材料介电常数的增加,带隙的中心位置降低但带隙宽度增加.当波矢偏离周期平面时,色散曲线不再分为TE和TM模,随着非周期平面波矢的增加,带隙位置上移,带隙宽度先增加随后基本保持不变.  相似文献
