DFT-B3LYP/6-311G** method has been used to optimize molecular geometric structures of 527 polychlorinated fluoranthene(PCFRT) congeners and calculate their thermo-dynamic properties in the ideal gas state,such as heat capacity at constant volume(Cv),entropy(S),standard enthalpy of formation(ΔfH) and standard Gibbs free energy of formation(ΔfG).The relations of Cv,S,ΔfH and ΔfG with the number and position of chlorine atoms have also been explored,from which the relative stability of PCFRT congeners was theoretically proposed according to the magnitude of the relative standard Gibbs free energy of formation(Δr,fG).It was found that some of the PCFRT isomers are in a nonplanar configuration and there are intramolecular Cl…Cl weak interactions in some of the isomers.With increasing the number of chlorine atoms,the values of ΔfH and ΔfG of the most stable PCFRT isomers decrease initially and then increase.The values of ΔfH and ΔfG of PCFRT congeners with the same number of chlorine atoms show a strong dependence on the positions of chlorine atoms.The relative thermodynamic stability of PCFRT isomers is determined mainly by intramolecular adjacent Cl…Cl nuclear repulsive interaction between Cl atoms at two different six-membered rings.Most PCFRT congeners are easier to form thermodynamically than their parent compound.  相似文献

Lepidoptera, including about 150,000 species in the world, comprise the second largest insect group, and sex pheromones have been identified from virgin female moths of more than 600 species. The chemical structures are simple, but diverse, because species-specific pheromones play an important role in the reproductive isolation of each species. The pheromone content in each female is quite low, and gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (GC-MS) is most frequently utilized to reveal the chemical structure. Almost all pheromone components are straight-chain compounds and are classified into two major groups [i.e. unsaturated C10-C18 fatty alcohols and their derivatives (Type I) and C17-C23 polyenyl hydrocarbons and their epoxides (Type II)]. In addition to the unbranched compounds, some species secrete methyl-branched compounds (e.g., 2-ketones). For the identification of these compounds, determining the positions of the double bond, the epoxy ring, and the methyl group is an important key step. Copious spectral information measured by electron-impact ionization (70 eV) has been accumulated for these compounds. This review therefore deals with their spectral characteristics, namely, diagnostic ions, to apply them to pheromone studies on new target insects.  相似文献

Data characterizing the position of the equilibrium between Δ2- and Δ1-pyrazolines with alkyl substituents in different positions, which is established under the influence of potassium tertbutoxide in tert-butyl alcohol at 90°C, were obtained. 3-Alkyl-Δ2-pyrazolines are thermodynamically more stable than their isomers with different positions of the double bond, so that the fraction of the latter in equilibrium mixtures does not exceed 1–2%, and they are practically completely isomerized to the 3-Alkyl-Δ2-substituted derivatives. If the position of the side chains excludes the possibility of the formation of 3-alkyl-Δ2-pyrazolines by migration of the double bond (4-alkyl- and 5,5-dialkyl-substituted compounds), the fraction of Δ1-pyrazolines in the equilibrium rises appreciably and reaches 12% for 3,3-diethyl-Δ1-pyrazoline.  相似文献

Pyrazines are well‐known natural products that are present in bacterial odours and food flavouring agents and are used as insect pheromones. Recently, a number of hydroxymethylpyrazines have been identified as thynnine wasp pheromones and orchid semiochemicals that are essential for pollination in sexually deceptive plants. These compounds are present in low amounts in complex blends, making GC–MS (including high‐resolution techniques) the method of choice for their structure elucidation. We report the EI mass spectra for 14 representative compounds and have found that based on characteristic fragmentations, it is possible to distinguish between different positional isomers of hydroxymethylpyrazines. The presence or absence of either [M ? 17]+, [M ? 18] or [M ? 19]+ fragment species provides characteristic information to allow the distinction between the different isomers. Considering the importance of pyrazines as a group of bioactive natural products, and the recent findings of biological activity for hydroxymethylpyrazines, our results presented here will aid the identification of these compounds in other biological systems. Pheromones are substances which are secreted to the outside by an animal, especially an insect, and received by a second individual of the same species, in which they release a specific reaction, for example, a definite behavior or developmental process. The name is derived from the Greek pherein (to bear, transmit) and hormon (impel, excite). Pheromones include, inter alia, sex attractants, warning substances, and “aggregation pheromones”. Many of these substances are effective at very low concentration. The insect pheromones are predominantly derivatives of long-chain, slightly branched hydrocarbons.  相似文献

New Schiff base derivatives were prepared by the condensation of 5-chloro and 5-bromo salicylaldehyde with bis(o-aminophenol)ethers. Five bis(o-nitrophenol)ether compounds were synthesized using some ditosylate, 1,3-dibromopropane and 1,4-dibromobuthane with o-nitrophenol. These compounds were reduced to bis(o-aminophenol)ethers. The products have been characterized by elemental analysis, FTIR, 1H, 13C NMR, HETCOR and HMBC spectroscopic techniques. The tautomerisms of all of the Schiff bases compounds were determined in DMSO, CHCl3, C2H5OH and C6H12 solvents and in both acidic and basic media using the UV-vis spectrophotometric method. The heat of formation (ΔHf), enthalpy (ΔH), entropy (ΔS), Gibbs free energy (ΔGf and ΔG), stable isomers, conformations and tautomers of the synthesized compounds are calculated using the MOPAC2009 (PM6) program.  相似文献

Novel monomeric and polymeric liquid crystalline compounds were synthesized as stationary phases for gas chromatography (GC) and supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC). Monomeric liquid crystalline compounds were used in packed column gas chromatography for the separation of isomeric aromatic compounds and insect sex pheromones. Liquid crystalline polymers possess long nematic ranges and a uniform coating was easily achieved in glass and fused silica capillaries, which could stand temperatures up to 250°C in GC and pressures of 200 MPa at 160°C in SFC. The columns provide excellent selectivity and resolution for fused ring aromatic compounds such as the isomers anthracene and phenanthrene or triphenylene and chrysene.  相似文献

Z-6-Heneicosen-11-one (1) and Z-1,6-Heneicosen-11-one (2) are the sex pheromones of the Douglas-Fir Tussock moth, ‘Orgyia Pseudo Sugata’, isolated1,2 in 1975 and 1978 respectively. In contrast with other lepidopterous pheromones, which are unsaturated C12-C14 primary alcohols or acetates, these were found to be C21 ketones. The Douglas-Fir Tussock moth is a severe defoliator of the Fir forest; consequently, considerable interest attends the synthesis of these two pheromones. A number of syntheses of these two pheromones have been reported3 amongst which is one of our synthesis using N,N-dimethyl acetone 4 hydrazone as key intermediate.  相似文献

Gas chromatography in combination with electron ionization mass spectrometry (GC/EI-MS) was used to determine the fatty acids of a membrane lipid from Bacillus megaterium. Special attention was put on the structure and absolute configuration of a monoenoic fatty acid previously described in this sample. GC/EI-MS operated in the selected ion monitoring mode was used to determine twelve fatty acids in the bacterium. Methyl esters were prepared to verify the presence of a 14-methylhexadecenoic acid (a17:1) isomer. The position of the double bond of the a17:1 isomer and four further monoenoic fatty acids was elucidated by means of their picolinyl esters produced by the transesterification of the phospholipid. For the a17:1 isomer, the double bond was located between C-5 and C-6. Silver ion liquid chromatography was used to verify that the double bond was in cis-configuration. The bacterial 14-methylhexadec-5-enoic acid (a17:1Δ5) is chiral due to the stereogenic C-14 carbon. Initial enantioselective measurements were carried out with isomers of a17:1Δ5 which were available in form of racemic and (S)-enantiopure cis- and trans-isomers of a17:1Δ12 previously synthesized. The cis-a17:1Δ12 enantiomers were partly resolved on a chiral stationary phase coated with 50% heptakis(6-O-tert.-butyldimethylsilyl-2,3-di-O-methyl)-β-cyclodextrin in OV-1701 (β-TBDM). However, resolution of the enantiomers of the trans-isomer of a17:1Δ12 failed. Only one peak was also observed for the a17:1Δ5 isomer from B. megaterium. Thus, it remained unclear whether the compound a17:1Δ5 was racemic or enantiopure in the sample. To clarify this point, we separated the cis-monoenoic fraction from the saturated fatty acids. Then, the monoenoic fraction was hydrogenated in order to transform a17:1Δ5 into 14-methylhexadecanoic acid (a17:0). This chiral fatty acid was known to be sufficiently enantioseparated on the β-TBDM column and was found to be (S)-enantiopure in the sample. Hence, these measurements verified that the B. megaterium sample contained enantiopure (S)-a17:1Δ5.  相似文献

The identification of the sex pheromone of the lesser date moth, Batrachedra amydraula (Meyrick) was based on GC-MS analysis of volatiles released by virgin females using sequential SPME auto-sampling of headspace and by synthesis of the key component, (4Z,7Z)-4,7-decadien-1-yl acetate. Substantial capture of males in a date palm plantation using a bait consisting of the key component and 5Z-decen-1-yl acetate in a ratio of 1:2 indicated that these are the essential components of the sex pheromone. Addition of 4Z-decen-1-yl acetate and decan-1-yl acetate, which were also identified, did not affect trap-capture. The lesser date moth is the first member of the Batrachedridae whose sex pheromone has been identified. (4Z,7Z)-4,7-Decadien-1-yl acetate is a novel compound among moth sex pheromones.  相似文献

Many incorrect structures of biomolecules have been proposed for natural products. Synthesis of compounds having the proposed structures often enabled us to judge the correctness of the proposals. In some cases, we were able to revise the structures by synthesizing the biomolecules themselves. In other cases, we were able to definitely disprove the proposed structures. Some examples treated in this review include: auxin-a and b; the sex pheromone of Chlamydomonas; sex pheromones of the gypsy moth, the American cockroach, and the pink bollworm moth; Persoons' periplanone-A; orobanchol; naurol A; bifurcarenone; koninginin A; alpha-acoradiene; himachalene-type pheromones of the flea beetle; differolide; blattellastanoside A and B; etc.  相似文献

In this work, using the MPW1PW91 method, the substituent effect on the stability and on the 14N NQR parameters of linkage isomers of nitriles in a rhodium half‐sandwich metallacycle is illustrated. After determination of the corresponding isomerization transition state (TS), the substituent effect on the barrier energy and on the activation thermodynamic parameters (ΔG and ΔH) of isomerization is explored. The electric field gradient tensor, nuclear quadrupole coupling constant, asymmetry parameter, and nuclear quadrupole resonance frequencies of the studied isomers are calculated. Also, linear correlations between these parameters and Hammett constant of the substituent are explored.  相似文献
