Solvent extraction of trivalent group 13 metal cations such as aluminum, gallium and indium with tripod quadridentate phenolic ligand, tris(2-hydroxy-3,5-dimethylbenzyl)amine (H(3)tdmba), was investigated as fundamental study for their mutual separation. Gallium was extracted almost quantitatively as Ga(tdmba) (logK(ex)=-6.66+/-0.06 on using chloroform as extraction solvent), whereas aluminum and indium were hardly extracted due to steric hindrance on complexation of them with the ligand. The extracted Ga species was estimated as trigonal bipyramidal complex with one H(2)O molecule. Furthermore, extractability of Ga was increased by changing the ligand to more acidic tris(5-chloro-2-hydroxy-3-methylbenzyl)amine (H(3)tcmba) (logK(ex)=-6.18+/-0.18 on using dichloroethane as extraction solvent).  相似文献

Tributylphosphine oxide (TBPO) is proposed as an extractant for the extraction of lead(II) and copper(II) from salicylate media. The optimum conditions were evaluated by varying the experimental parameters, such as the pH, sodium salicylate concentration, tributylphosphine oxide (TBPO) concentration, shaking period and various diluents. The probable extracted species, deduced from log-log plots were Pb(HSal)2.2TBPO and Cu(HSal)2.2TBPO. The extraction took place through a solvation mechanism. The method permits the binary separation of lead(II) and copper(II) from commonly associated elements as well as the mutual separation of lead(II) and copper(II). The method is applicable to the determination of lead(II) and copper(II) in various alloys as well as environmental and pharmaceutical samples.  相似文献

The reactivity of complex [Ru(eta(6)-p-cymene)(kappa(3)P,N,O-Ph(2)PCH(2)P{[double bond, length as m-dash]NP([double bond, length as m-dash]O)(OEt)(2)}Ph(2))][SbF(6)](2) towards a variety of mono- and bidentate neutral ligands has been studied, allowing the high-yield synthesis of the novel half-sandwich Ru(ii) derivatives [Ru(eta(6)-p-cymene)(L)(kappa(2)P,O-Ph(2)PCH(2)P{[double bond, length as m-dash]NP([double bond, length as m-dash]O)(OEt)(2)}Ph(2))][SbF(6)](2) (L = N[triple bond, length as m-dash]CMe , N[triple bond, length as m-dash]CEt , PMe(3), PMe(2)Ph , PMePh(2), PPh(3), P(OMe)(3), P(OEt)(3), P(OPh)(3), py , kappa(1)P-dppm , kappa(1)P-dppe ), as well as the octahedral species [Ru(Ninsertion markN)(2)(kappa(2)P,O-Ph(2)PCH(2)P{[double bond, length as m-dash]NP([double bond, length as m-dash]O)(OEt)(2)}Ph(2))][SbF(6)](2) (Ninsertion markN = bipy , phen ). Deprotonation of complexes ,, upon treatment with an excess of NaOH in CH(2)Cl(2), generates the monocationic derivatives [Ru(Ninsertion markN)(2)(kappa(2)P,N-Ph(2)PC(H)[double bond, length as m-dash]P{NP([double bond, length as m-dash]O)(OEt)(2)}Ph(2))][Cl] (Ninsertion markN = bipy , phen ) in which the methanide anion adopts an unprecedented kappa(2)P,N bidentate coordination mode. The effect of acidity on the precipitation of various bivalent metal 8-selenoquinoline and 8-mercaptoquinoline complexes has been systematically studied and compared. The metal ions were Zn(2+), Cd(2+), Pb(2+), Mn2+, Ni(2+), Cu(2+) and Co(2+). Most of the metal ions, except copper(II) and cobalt(II), precipitate as a. 1:2 complex, metal :ligand. However, in hydrochloric acid solution cadmium precipitates as CdR(2).2HCl and lead as PbR(2).2HCl or PbR.Cl. Copper(II) is reduced to copper(I) and precipitates as CuR.RH at pH above 2.0 and as CuR in strongly acidic solution. Cobalt(II) does not give a precipitate of composition but appears to precipitate as a mixture of CoR(2).RH and fixed CoR(2) or as other complexes. The reasons for the formation of the various types of precipitate are considered.  相似文献

Plant species Satureja kitaibelii Wierzb. ex Heuff. is used as a spice and as a natural preservative for food and herbal tea, owing to its characteristic scent and flavor as well as high antimicrobial activity. In the present study, the antimicrobial activity of isolated essential oil of S. kitaibelii was tested against a panel of 30 pathogenic microorganisms (foodborne microbes, selected multiresistant bacterial isolates from the patient wounds and dermatophyte isolates). Limonene (15.54%), p-cymene (9.99%), and borneol (8.91%) appeared as the main components in 44 identified compounds representing 98.44% of the oil. Essential oil of S. kitaibelii showed significant activity against a wide spectrum of foodborne microbes (MIC=0.18-25.5 microg mL(-1)) and multiresistant bacterial isolates (MIC=6.25-50.0 microg mL(-1)), as well as against dermatophyte strains (MIC=12.5-50.0 microg mL(-1)). These results demonstrate that S. kitaibelii essential oil could be used as a natural potential antimicrobial agent against pathogenic strains in the treatment of foodborne disease, wound and skin infections.  相似文献

Atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of ethyl acrylate was carried out in bulk using ethyl 2-bromoisobutyrate as initiator, CuBr as well as CuCl as catalyst in combination with different ligands e.g., 2,2′ bipyridine (bpy)andN,N, N′,N″,N″-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine (PMDETA). In most of the cases very high conversion (72–98%) was achieved. The polymerization was well controlled with a linear increase of molecular weight (MnSEC) with conversion and relatively narrow molecular weight distributions (polydispersity index 1.2–1.3). Use of PMDETA as the ligand resulted in faster polymerization rate (98% conversion in 1 h) than those using bipyridine (72% conversion in 5 h). The MALDI-TOF-MS analysis of poly (ethyl acrylate) (PEA) prepared by using bpy as ligand showed the presence of halogen as the end group. On the contrary, when PMDETA was used as the ligand, the mass analysis showed no trace of this end group.  相似文献

CdS quantum dots (∼5 nm) are used as multifunctional nanoprobes as an effective matrix for large proteins, peptides and as affinity probes for the enrichment of tryptic digest proteins (lysozyme, myoglobin and cytochrome c) in laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LDI-TOF MS). The use of CdS quantum dots (CdS QDs) as the matrix allows acquisition of high resolution LDI mass spectra for large proteins (5000-80,000 Da). The enhancement of mass resolution is especially notable for large proteins such as BSA, HSA and transferrin (34-49 times) when compared with those obtained by using SA as the matrix. This technique demonstrates the potentiality of LDI-TOF-MS as an appropriate analytical tool for the analysis of high-molecular-weight biomolecules with high mass resolution. In addition, CdS QDs are also used as matrices for background-free detection of small biomolecules (peptides) and as affinity probes for the enrichment of tryptic digest proteins in LDI-TOF-MS.  相似文献

The alkylating potential of p-nitrostyrene oxide (pNSO)--a compound used as a substrate to study the activity of epoxide hydrolases as well as in polymer production and in the pharmaceutical industry--was investigated kinetically. The molecule 4-(p-nitrobenzyl)pyridine (NBP), as a model nucleophile for DNA bases, was used as an alkylation substrate. In order to gain insight into the effect of the hydrolysis of pNSO, as well as the hydrolysis of the NBP-pNSO adduct on the pNSO alkylating efficiency, these two competing reactions were studied in parallel with the main NBP-alkylation reaction. The following conclusions were drawn: (i) pNSO reacts through an S(N)2 mechanism, with NBP to form an adduct, pNSO-NBP (AD). The rate equation for the adduct formation is: r = d[AD]/dt = k(alk)[NBP][pNSO]-k(hyd)(AD) [AD] (k(alk), and k(hyd)(AD) being the alkylation rate constant and the NBP-pNSO adduct hydrolysis rate constant, respectively); (ii) the alkylating capacity of pNSO, defined as the fraction of initial alkylating agent that forms the adduct, is similar to that of mutagenic agents as effective as β-propiolactone. The instability of the pNSO-NBP adduct formed could be invoked to explain the lower mutagenicity shown by pNSO; (iii) the different stabilities of the α and β-adducts formed between NBP and styrene oxides show that the alkylating capacity f = k(alk)[NBP]/(k(alk)[NBP] + k(hyd)) (k(hyd) being the pNSO hydrolysis rate constant) as well as the alkylating effectiveness, AL = f/k(hyd)(AD), are useful tools for correlating the chemical reactivity and mutagenicity of styrene oxides; (iv) a pNSO-guanosine adduct was detected.  相似文献

DL-Penicillamine has been resolved into its enantiomers by normal-phase TLC using L-tartaric acid as chiral impregnating reagent as well as chiral mobile phase additive, while (R)-mandelic acid has been found to be successful as a chiral impregnating reagent. The solvent system acetonitrile-methanol-water (5:1:1, v/v) was found to be successful when L-tartaric acid was used as impregnating agent while the solvent combination acetonitrile-methanol-(0.5% l-tartaric acid in water, pH 5)-glacial acetic acid (7:1:1.1:0.7, v/v) was successful as mobile phase as it contained L-tartaric acid as the chiral additive. (R)-mandelic acid was successful as chiral impregnating reagent with ethyl acetate-methanol-water (3:1:1, v/v), as the mobile phase. The effects of concentration of chiral selectors, temperature and pH were examined on enantiomeric resolution. The spots were detected with iodine vapors and the detection limits were found to be 0.12 microg for each enantiomer of penicillamine with L-tartaric acid, under both the conditions, and 0.11 microg with (R)-mandelic acid.  相似文献

以双酚A聚砜或酚酞作为硬段,聚对羟基苯乙烯、酚醛、聚羟基醚或聚羟基醚砜作为半硬段,聚二甲基硅氧烷作为软段合成了七种三元多嵌段共聚物,并对其稳定性、动态力学性能进行了比较详细的研究。结果表明这类共聚物在溶液中的稳定性及热稳定性主要与半硬段有关;它们的形态结构同属于微相分离,并在很宽的温度范围内表现出优良的弹性体性质。三元多嵌段共聚物中硬段与半硬段的相容性直接影响其力学性能,当两者的相容性好时,其强度高于对应的二元多嵌段共聚物。  相似文献

Poly(vinyl chloride) membrane strontium ion-selective electrodes were developed by using three lipophilic diamides containing pyridine ring as ionophores. The relationship between the structure of the ionophores and the performance of these electrodes, as well as the effects of the plasticizers and additives, were investigated. The Sr(2+)-electrode based on N,N,N',N'-tetracyclohexyl-2,6-pyridine-bis(methyleneoxy acetamide) as neutral carrier, potassium tetrakis (p-chlorophenyl) borate (KTpClPB) as additive, and o-nitrophenyloctyl ether (o-NPOE) as plasticizing solvent. It exhibits excellent properties with a Nernstian slope of 29 mV/pSr(2+)and a linearity range of 2x10(-5) to 1x10(-2) M at 25 degrees C, K(Sr,Ba)(Pot)=2x10(-2).  相似文献

We report a facile hydrothermal synthetic route to prepare a class of monodispersed lanthanide-based compound submicrospheres with controllable size, which employs raw lanthanide oxides as starting material, urea as precipitator and poly(N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone) (PVP) as surfactant. Dependent on the intrinsic properties of respective lanthanide, the resulting products could be in the form of oxide, hydroxide or basic carbonate. These lanthanide hydroxides or basic carbonates can be easily transformed into their corresponding oxides by calcination, retaining the same morphology and size dispersion. The formation mechanism of these lanthanide-based compound submicrospheres is investigated and PVP plays a critical role in forming uniform and well-dispersed products. Furthermore, this method could be extended to a binary system by using two kinds of lanthanide oxides as starting material, resulting in doped-type lanthanide oxide submicrospheres (such as Y(2)O(3):Eu(3+)). The Y(2)O(3):Eu(3+) submicrospheres exhibit nearly uniform spherical morphology and narrow size distribution as well as good water solubility and sharp spectral emission at 610 nm (corresponding to the 5D(0)-7F(2) transition of Eu(3+)). This makes them attractive materials for applications in fields such as fluorescent lamps, field emission displays (FEDs) or LCDs, or as biomedical labels and molecular probes.  相似文献

以双醛葡聚糖-组氨酸偶连物(PAD-His)为功能大单体、过渡态类似物p-硝基苯磷酸酯(NPP)为模板分子、Co2+为中心离子,采用油包水反相乳液法首次制得具有酯酶活性的温敏型分子印迹微凝胶(MIGs).催化水解实验表明,MIGs催化活性受模板分子用量的影响,并可通过温度进行有效调控.MIGs催化p-硝基乙酸苯酯(NPA)水解反应行为可用Michaelis-Menten方程进行描述,其最大催化水解反应速率和Michaelis-Menten常数分别为2.04×10-8mol/h和2.2×10-5mol/L,且具有较好的催化选择性.  相似文献

The investigation of the host-guest complex formations between cyclophane (TGDMAP) (1) as a host and L-acidic amino acids such as L-glutamic acid (Glu) and L-aspartic acid (Asp) as guests was carried out using fast atom bombardment (FAB), electrospray ionization (ESI) and cold-spray ionization (CSI) mass spectrometry (MS). The stability constant (K(s)) values obtained by the three different MS methods almost agreed. However, the complex ion peaks of a novel cyclophane (CPCn) (2) with Glu and Asp were not observed in FAB-MS. Then, these host-guest complex formations by use of CSI-MS and ESI-MS was examined, as the results, these complex ion peaks were observed clearly and the measurement values by the two MS methods are mostly in agreement. It was concluded that ESI-MS and CSI-MS are available for the determination of K(s) value as well as FAB-MS.  相似文献

In the present paper the synthesis of block copolymers via the transformation from living anionic polymerization (LAP) to atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) was described. Α-Bromine-terminated polystyrenes(PStBr) in the LAP step was prepared by using n-BuLi as initiator, tetrahydrofuran (THF) as the activator, α-methylstyrene (α-MeSt) as the capping group and liquid bromine (Br2) as the bromating agent. The effects of reaction conditions such as the amounts of α-MeSt, THF, and Br2 as well as molecular weight of polystyrene on the bromating efficiency (BE) and coupling extent (CE) were examined. The present results show that the yield of PStBr obtained was more than 93.8% and the coupling reaction was substantially absent. PStBr was further used as the macroinitiator in the polymerization of methyl-methacrylate(MMA) in the presence of copper(Ⅰ) halogen and 2,2-bipyridine(bpy) complexes. It was found that the molecular weight of the resulted PSt-b-PMMA increased linearly with the increase of the conversion of MMA and the polydispersity was 1.2-1.6. The structures of PStBr and P(St-b-MMA) were characterized by 1H NMR spectra.  相似文献

Vanadium(V), niobium(V) and tantalum(V) were separated as ternary mixed-ligand complexes by capillary electrophoresis using 4-(2-pyridylazo)resorcinol (PAR) as the color chelating reagent. Four carboxylic acids such as tartaric acid (Tart), oxalic acid, citric acid and acetic acid were investigated as the additional ligand. The first was chosen as the best. Other parameters such as the concentration ratio of Tart to PAR, buffer concentration, injection time and applied voltage were also optimized. Under the optimized conditions, a complete separation of the three metal complexes was accomplished within 10 min. A linear calibration curve in the range of two orders of magnitude was obtained.  相似文献

A poly(vinyl chloride)-based membrane composed of dithio-tetraaza macrocyclic compound as a neutral carrier with sodium tetraphenylborate (NaTPB) as an anion excluder and nitrobenzene (NB) as plasticizer was prepared and investigated as a Th(IV)-selective electrode. The electrode exhibits a Nernstian slope of 14.2 +/- 0.3 mV per decade over a wide concentration range (1.0 x 10(-6) to 1.0 x 10(-1) M) with a detection limit of 8.0 x 10(-7) M between pH 3.5 and 9.5. The response time of the sensor is about 10 s and it can be used over a period of 5 months without any divergence in potential. The proposed membrane sensor revealed a good selectivity for Th(IV) over a wide variety of other metal ions and proved to be a better electrode in many respects than those reported in the literature. It was successfully applied as an electrode indicator as well as in the direct determination of thorium ions in standard and real samples.  相似文献
