When antiferromagnetism and unconventional superconductivity coexist in CeRhIn(5) there is a significant temperature difference between resistively and thermodynamically determined transitions into the superconducting state. In this state, anisotropic transport near the superconducting transition reveals the emergence of textured superconducting planes that appear without a change in translational symmetry of the lattice. CeRhIn(5) is not unique in exhibiting these behaviors, indicating that textured superconductivity may be a general consequence of coexisting orders in correlated electron materials.  相似文献

Fritzsch like mass matrices with non-zero 22-elements both in U sector and D sector have been investigated in the context of latest data regardingm t phys , |V ub|, |V cb|, |V td| and |V ts|. Unlike several other phenomenological models, the present model not only accommodates the value ofm t phys in the range 150–240 GeV, encompassing the CDF and D0 values, but is also able to reproduce |V cb| ≊0.040 and |V ub/Vcb| = 0.08±0.02 and |V td| is predicted to lie in the range 0.005–0.014. Further, the angles of the unitarity triangle, related to the CP-violating asymmetries, are calculated to be in the ranges −1.0⩽sin2α⩽−0.1, 0.6 ⩽sin2α⩽1.0 and 0.48⩽sin2β⩽0.56, which are in agreement with other recent calculations.  相似文献

We discuss a form for the quark mass matrices which produces maximal weak but no string CP violation. The quark mass matrices are of the Fritzsch type, with all phases equal to multiples of 12π. We show that these matrices can be produced in an SO(10) model with CP violated spontaneously at the GUT scale. The model successfully predicts the entire K-M matrix. Radiative corrections to θ, however, are several orders of magnitude too large in the model, and θ is naturally of O(10?5).  相似文献

In the context of the minimal seesaw framework, we discuss the implications of Dirac and Majorana mass matrices in which two properties coexist, namely, equalities among matrix elements and texture zeros. Among the large number of general possibilities, only 12 patterns are found to be consistent with the global neutrino oscillation data at the level of the most minimal number of free parameters. The predictions of the allowed textures for mass hierarchy, θ13θ13 and effective mass governing neutrino-less double beta decay are discussed. We also explore the possibility of having non-zero CP violation for each allowed solution. We find that only one allowed solution can accommodate both low and high energy CP violation. We discuss the prediction of this solution for leptogenesis and explore the correlation, between leptogenesis and low energy CP violation.  相似文献

The six quark Weinberg-Salam model with the symmetry of the three generation permutation group S3 has an extra O(2) pseudosymmetry when the Higgs fields lie in an S3 doublet.
