We introduce the Einstein–Yang–Mills AdS black brane solution in context of massive gravity. The ratio of shear viscosity to entropy density is calculated for this solution. This value violates the KSS bound if we apply the Dirichlet boundary and regularity on the horizon conditions.  相似文献

The entropy spectrum of a spherically symmetric black hole was derived via the Bohr–Sommerfeld quantization rule in Majhi and Vagenas’s work. Extending this work to charged and rotating black holes, we quantize the horizon area and the entropy of an Einstein–Maxwell–Dilaton–Axion black hole via the Bohr–Sommerfeld quantization rule and the adiabatic invariance. The result shows the area spectrum and the entropy spectrum are respectively equally spaced and independent on the parameters of the black hole.  相似文献

To understand the effect of third order Lovelock gravity, $P$ $V$ criticality of topological AdS black holes in Lovelock–Born–Infeld gravity is investigated. The thermodynamics is further explored with some more extensions and in some more detail than the previous literature. A detailed analysis of the limit case $\beta \rightarrow \infty $ is performed for the seven-dimensional black holes. It is shown that, for the spherical topology, $P$ $V$ criticality exists for both the uncharged and the charged cases. Our results demonstrate again that the charge is not the indispensable condition of $P$ $V$ criticality. It may be attributed to the effect of higher derivative terms of the curvature because similar phenomenon was also found for Gauss–Bonnet black holes. For $k=0$ , there would be no $P$ $V$ criticality. Interesting findings occur in the case $k=-1$ , in which positive solutions of critical points are found for both the uncharged and the charged cases. However, the $P$ $v$ diagram is quite strange. To check whether these findings are physical, we give the analysis on the non-negative definiteness condition of the entropy. It is shown that, for any nontrivial value of $\alpha $ , the entropy is always positive for any specific volume $v$ . Since no $P$ $V$ criticality exists for $k=-1$ in Einstein gravity and Gauss–Bonnet gravity, we can relate our findings with the peculiar property of third order Lovelock gravity. The entropy in third order Lovelock gravity consists of extra terms which are absent in the Gauss–Bonnet black holes, which makes the critical points satisfy the constraint of non-negative definiteness condition of the entropy. We also check the Gibbs free energy graph and “swallow tail” behavior can be observed. Moreover, the effect of nonlinear electrodynamics is also included in our research.  相似文献

We study the thermodynamical structure of Einstein black holes in the presence of power Maxwell invariant nonlinear electrodynamics for two different cases. The behavior of temperature and conditions regarding the stability of these black holes are investigated. Since the language of geometry is an effective method in general relativity, we concentrate on the geometrical thermodynamics to build a phase space for studying thermodynamical properties of these black holes. In addition, taking into account the denominator of the heat capacity, we use the proportionality between cosmological constant and thermodynamical pressure to extract the critical values for these black holes. Besides, the effects of the variation of different parameters on the thermodynamical structure of these black holes are investigated. Furthermore, some thermodynamical properties such as the volume expansion coefficient, speed of sound, and isothermal compressibility coefficient are calculated and some remarks regarding these quantities are given.  相似文献

By employing the higher (N?5N?5)-dimensional version of the Wu–Yang ansatz we obtain black hole solutions in the spherically symmetric Einstein–Yang–Mills (EYM) theory. Although these solutions were found recently by other means, our method provides an alternative way in which one identifies the contribution from the Yang–Mills (YM) charge. Our method has the advantage to be carried out analytically as well. We discuss some interesting features of the black hole solutions obtained.  相似文献

We show that the Kerr metric does not exist as a fully rotating black hole solution to modified Hořava–Lifshitz (HL) gravity with Λ W =0 and λ=1. We do this by showing that the Kerr metric does not satisfy the full equations derived from modified HL gravity.  相似文献

In this paper, the Joule–Thomson expansion of the higher dimensional nonlinearly anti-de Sitter(Ad S) black hole with power Maxwell invariant source is investigated. The results show the Joule–Thomson coefficient has a zero point and a divergent point, which coincide with the inversion temperature Tiand the zero point of the Hawking temperature, respectively. The inversion temperature increases monotonously with inversion pressure. For the high-pressure region, the inversion temperature decreases with the dimensionality D and the nonlinearity parameter s, whereas it increases with the charge Q. However, Tifor the low-pressure region increase with D and s, while it decreases with Q. The ratio ηBHbetween the minimum inversion temperature and the critical temperature does not depend on Q, it recovers the higher dimensional Reissner–N?rdstrom Ad S black hole case when s = 1. However, for s 1, it becomes smaller and smaller as D increases and approaches a constant when D →∞. Finally, we found that an increase of mass M and s, or reducing the charge Q and D can enhance the isenthalpic curve, and the effect of s on the isenthalpic curve is much greater than other parameters.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to studying the impact of thermal fluctuations on thermodynamics of rotating as well as charged anti-de Sitter black holes with the Newman–Unti–Tamburino(NUT)parameter. To this end, we derive the analytic expression of thermodynamic variables, namely the Hawking temperature, volume, angular velocity, and entropy within the limits of extended phase space. These variables meet the first law of thermodynamics as well as the Smarr relation in the presence of new NUT charge. To analyze the effects of quantum fluctuations, we derive the exact expression of corrected entropy, which yields modification in other thermodynamical equations of state. The local stability and phase transition of the considered black hole are also examined through specific heat. It is found that the NUT parameter increases the stability of small black holes, while the logarithmic corrections induce instability in the system.  相似文献

Motivated by the E 8×E 8 heterotic string theory, we obtain topological black hole solutions of Einstein–Maxwell gravity with additional corrections. We consider the Gauss–Bonnet (GB) and (F μν F μν )2 terms as an effective quartic order Lagrangian of gauge–gravity coupling and investigate geometric and thermodynamic properties of the black hole solutions. We also analyze the effects of the GB term as well as the correction of Maxwell field on the properties of the solutions.  相似文献

Using the null-geodesic tunneling method of Parikh and Wilczek, we derive the Hawking temperature of a general four-dimensional rotating black hole. In order to eliminate the motion of ? degree of freedom of a tunneling particle, we have chosen a reference system that is co-rotating with the black hole horizon. Then we give the explicit result for the Hawking temperature of the Kerr–Newman–AdS black hole from the tunneling approach.  相似文献

In this paper, we have studied the geometry of the five-dimensional black hole solutions in (a) Einstein–Yang–Mills–Gauss–Bonnet theory and (b) Einstein–Maxwell–Gauss–Bonnet theory with a cosmological constant for spherically symmetric space time. Formulating the Ruppeiner metric, we have examined the possible phase transition for both the metrics. It is found that depending on some restrictions phase transition is possible for the black holes. Also for Λ = 0 in Einstein–Gauss–Bonnet black hole, the Ruppeiner metric becomes flat and hence the black hole becomes a stable one.  相似文献

We construct generalizations of the D=5D=5 Kerr black string by including higher curvature corrections to the gravity action in the form of the Gauss–Bonnet density. These uniform black strings satisfy a generalized Smarr relation and share the basic properties of the Einstein gravity solutions. However, they exist only up to a maximal value of the Gauss–Bonnet coupling constant, which depends on the solutions? mass and angular momentum.  相似文献

Motivated by considerable interests of Myers–Perry black holes, we employ the perturbative method to obtain a family of extremal charged rotating black hole solutions in odd dimensional Einstein–Born–Infeld-dilaton gravity. We start with an extremal Myers–Perry black hole with equal angular momenta, and then by adding the dilaton field and the nonlinear Born–Infeld electrodynamics, we find an extremal nonlinearly charged rotating black holes. The perturbative parameter is assumed to be the electric charge qq and the perturbations are performed up to the third order. We then study the physical properties of these Born–Infeld-dilaton black holes. In particular, we show that the perturbative parameter, qq, the dilaton coupling constant, αα, and the Born–Infeld parameter, ββ, modify the Smarr formula and the values of the gyromagnetic ratio of the extremal charged rotating black holes.  相似文献

By constructing a set of appropriate matrices γμγμ for general covariant Dirac equation, we further extend fermion tunneling method to 5-dimensional Kerr–AdS black hole, and show that the expected Hawking temperature is recovered.  相似文献

We discuss the thermodynamics of regular black hole (RBH) with cosmological constant and Einstein–Aether black hole (BH) with coupling constant in the presence of thermal corrections. For these BHs, we develop various thermodynamical quantities such as entropy, pressure, specific heats, Gibbs free energy and Helmholtz free energy. Thermal stability is also being analyzed through γ factor, Gibbs free energy and Helmholtz free energy. It is found that RBH with cosmological constant and Einstein–Aether show stable behavior with the increase of the values of cosmological and coupling constants.  相似文献

We study corrections to the entropy of Einstein–Maxwell dilaton–axion black holes beyond semiclassical approximations. We consider the entropy of the black hole as a state variable and derive these corrections using the exactness criteria of the first law of thermodynamics. We note that from this general frame-work the entropy corrections for “simpler” black holes like Schwarzschild, Reissner–Nordström and anti-de Sitter–Schwarzschild black holes follow easily. This procedure gives us the modified area law as well.  相似文献

We analyse in detail the thermodynamics in the canonical and grand canonical ensembles of a class of non-asymptotically flat black holes of the Einstein-(anti) Maxwell-(anti) Dilaton theory in 4D with spherical symmetry. We present the first law of thermodynamics, the thermodynamic analysis of the system through the geometrothermodynamics methods, Weinhold, Ruppeiner, Liu–Lu–Luo–Shao and the most common, that made by the specific heat. The geometric methods show a curvature scalar identically zero, which is incompatible with the results of the analysis made by the non null specific heat, which shows that the system is thermodynamically interacting, does not possess extreme case nor phase transition. We also analyse the local and global stability of the thermodynamic system, and obtain a local and global stability for the normal case for $0<\gamma <1$ and for other values of $\gamma $ , an unstable system. The solution where $\gamma =0$ separates the class of locally and globally stable solutions from the unstable ones.  相似文献

By employing the higher (N>5N>5)-dimensional version of the Wu–Yang ansatz we obtain magnetically charged new black hole solutions in the Einstein–Yang–Mills–Lovelock (EYML) theory with second (α2α2) and third (α3α3) order parameters. These parameters, where α2α2 is also known as the Gauss–Bonnet parameter, modify the horizons (and the resulting thermodynamical properties) of the black holes. It is shown also that asymptotically (r→∞r), these parameters contribute to an effective cosmological constant—without cosmological constant—so that the solution behaves de-Sitter (anti de-Sitter) like.  相似文献
