For a morphism whose target variety is nonsingular, the Chern–Schwartz–MacPherson class homomorphism followed by capping with the pullback of the Segre class of the target variety is called the Ginzburg–Chern class. In this paper, using the Verdier–Riemann–Roch for Chern Class, we show that the correspondence assigning to a bivariant constructible function on any morphism with nonsingular target variety the Ginzburg–Chern class of it is the unique Grothendieck transformation satisfying the 'normalization condition' that for morphisms to a point it becomes the Chern–Schwartz–MacPherson class homomorphism, except for that the bivariant homology pullback is considered only for a smooth morphism.  相似文献

The complex Monge–Ampère equation is a nonlinear equation with high degree; therefore getting its solution is very difficult. In the present paper how to get the solution of Dirichlet’s problem of the complex Monge–Ampère equation on the Cartan–Hartogs domain of the first type is discussed, using an analytic method. Firstly, the complex Monge–Ampère equation is reduced to a nonlinear ordinary differential equation, then the solution of Dirichlet’s problem of the complex Monge–Ampère equation is reduced to the solution of a two-point boundary value problem for a nonlinear second-order ordinary differential equation. Secondly, the solution of Dirichlet’s problem is given as a semi-explicit formula, and in a special case the exact solution is obtained. These results may be helpful for a numerical method approach to Dirichlet’s problem of the complex Monge–Ampère equation on the Cartan–Hartogs domain of the first type.  相似文献

Min–max control is a robust control, which guarantees stability in the presence of matched uncertainties. The basic min–max control is a static state feedback law. Recently, the applicability conditions of discrete static min–max control through the output have been derived. In this paper, the results for output static min–max control are further extended to a class of output dynamic min–max controllers, and a general parametrization of all such controllers is derived. The dynamic output min–max control is shown to exist in many circumstances under which the output static min–max control does not exist, and usually allows for broader bounds on uncertainties. Another family of robust output min–max controllers, constructed from an asymptotic observer which is insensitive to uncertainties and a state min–max control, is derived. The latter is shown to be a particular case of the dynamic min–max control when the nominal system has no zeros at the origin. In the case where the insensitive observer exists, it is shown that the observer-controller has the same stability properties as those of the full state feedback min–max control.  相似文献

It is known that a C–rpp semigroup can be described as a strong semilattice of left cancellative monoids. In this paper, we introduce the class of left C–wrpp semigroups which includes the class of left C–rpp semigroups as a subclass. We shall particularly show that the semi-spined product of a left regular band and a C–wrpp semigroup forms a curler which is a left C–wrpp semigroup and vice versa. Results obtained by Fountain and Tang on C–rpp semigroups are extended and strengthened.  相似文献

The life of solid lubricating coatings of the VNII NP type, based on molybdenum disulfides and various binders, has been experimentally investigated under deep vacuum conditions (10–8–5 · 10–9 torr) together with the composition of the gas released in the friction process. It is shown that both under atmospheric conditions and in a deep vacuum the life of the coatings depends on the chemical nature of the film-former. The depth of the vacuum also has an important influence on the life of the coatings, both the mechanism and the end result of this effect depending to a large extent on the physicochemical properties of the bind. A theorem is proved to the effect that if there exists a BIB-schema with parameters (pm–1,k, k–1), where k¦(pm–1), p is prime, and m is a natural number, then there exists a BIB-schema (pmn–1),k, k–1). A consequence is the existnece of a cyclic BIB-schema (pmn–1, pm–1, pm–2) (pm–1 is prime) that specifies each ordered pair of difference elements at any distance = 1, 2, ..., pm–2 (cyclically) precisely once. We study discrete time Heath–Jarrow–Morton (HJM) type of interest rate curve models, where the forward interest rates – in contrast to the classical HJM models – are driven by a random field. Our main aim is to investigate the relationship between the discrete time forward interest rate curve model and its continuous time counterpart. The Magnanti–Wong method–accelerating Benders decomposition–is shown to exhibit difficulties due to its dependence on the subproblem; an independent version is therefore introduced. In this paper we establish Riemann–Roch and Lefschtez–Riemann–Roch theorems for arbitrary proper maps of finite cohomological dimension between algebraic stacks in the sense of Artin. The Riemann–Roch theorem is established as a natural transformation between the G-theory of algebraic stacks and topological G-theory for stacks: we define the latter as the localization of G-theory by topological K-homology. The Lefschtez–Riemann–Roch is an extension of this including the action of a torus for Deligne–Mumford stacks. This generalizes the corresponding Riemann–Roch theorem (Lefschetz–Riemann–Roch theorem) for proper maps between schemes (that are also equivariant for the action of a torus, respectively) making use of some fundamental results due to Vistoli and Toen. A key result established here is that topological G-theory (as well as rational G-theory) has cohomological descent on the isovariant étale site of an algebraic stack. This extends cohomological descent for topological G-theory on schemes as proved by Thomason.  相似文献

A Clifford–Finslerian physical unification is proposed based on Clifford–Finslerian mathematical structures and three physical principles. In the Clifford–Finslerian mathematical structure, spontaneous symmetry breaking is automatically embedded in fractal branches. We consider the well-known Szegö — Kolmogorov — Krein theorems on weighted approximations by functions with semibounded spectra defined on a circle or on a line and suggest an efficient construction that realizes these approximations. We show that three important topics in nonlinear analysis and optimization are intimately related: the theory of perturbations, the notion of well-posedness and variational principles in the sense of Ekeland, Borwein–Preiss and Deville–Godefroy–Zizler. The concept of genericity and the new notion of flexible perturbation play a key role in these connections. This notion enables one to consider topologies on spaces of functions which have been introduced recently. A link between the Asplund and Ekeland–Lebourg methods and the Palais–Smale condition, another important topic in nonlinear analysis, is pointed out.  相似文献

This is a continuation of paper in Adv. Appl. Math. 22 (1999), 219–226, on an antipodal theorem for sets Dn in Rn bounded by a finite number of spheres. Here this theorem is first applied to set-valued mappings from Dn to the boundary of an (n + 1)-cube or a d- dimensional octahedron. Next, the antipodal theorem is reformulated in terms of real continuous functions on Dn, together with applications to the classical theorems of Borsuk–Ulam and Lusternik–Schnirelmann–Borsuk.  相似文献

We proved a uniqueness theorem of tangent connections for a Yang–Mills connection with an isolated singularity with a quadratic growth of the curvature at the singularity. We also obtained control over the rate of the asymptotic convergence of the connection to the tangent connection if furthermore the connection is stationary or the tangent connection is integrable, with a stronger result in the latter case. There are parallel results for the cones at infinity of a Yang–Mills connection on an asymptotically flat manifold. We also gave an application of our methods to the Yang–Mills flow and proved that the Yang–Mills flow exists for all time and has asymptotic limit if the initial value is close to a smooth local minimizer of the Yang–Mills functional.  相似文献

We continue here our study [10–13] of the thermodynamic limit for various models of Quantum Chemistry, this time focusing on the Hartree–Fock type models. For the reduced Hartree–Fock models, we prove the existence of the thermodynamic limit for the energy per unit volume. We also define a periodic problem associated to the Hartree–Fock model, and prove that it is well-posed.  相似文献

In the framework of the two-dimensional melting theory based on the density functional approach, we use a Monte Carlo computer simulation to study melting of a two-dimensional hard disk system with a rectangular-well attraction potential. We show that depending on the attraction radius, the melting can occur via a single first-order transition as well as continuously in accordance with the Kosterlitz–Thouless–Halperin–Nelson–Young theory.  相似文献

The goal of this paper is to determine Göbner bases of powers of determinantal ideals and to show that the Rees algebras of (products of) determinantal ideals are normal and Cohen–Macaulay if the characteristic of the base field is non-exceptional. A notion of the radial index of an isolated singular point of a 1-form on a singular (real or complex) variety is discussed. For the differential of a function it is related to the Euler characteristic of the Milnor fibre of the function. A connection between the radial index and the local Euler obstruction of a 1-form is described. We study the mixed–integer knapsack polyhedron, that is, the convex hull of the mixed–integer set defined by an arbitrary linear inequality and the bounds on the variables. We describe facet–defining inequalities of this polyhedron that can be obtained through sequential lifting of inequalities containing a single integer variable. These inequalities strengthen and/or generalize known inequalities for several special cases.
