A class of second-order abstract dissipative evolution differential operators D with 0∈kerD is shown for which the fact that a non-zero t?u(t) belongs to a cone and −Du to a dual cone may hold only on time intervals whose length is less than or equal to a defined number. Then oscillatory functions are dealt with in the framework of Banach spaces with a cone and conditions for the existence of a uniform oscillatory time for solutions of the equation Du=0 are given. 相似文献

We use operator-valued Fourier multiplier theorems to study second order differential equations in Banach spaces. We establish
maximal regularity results in Lp and Cs for strong solutions of a complete second order equation.
In the second part, we study mild solutions for the second order problem. Two types of mild solutions are considered. When
the operator A involved is the generator of a strongly continuous cosine function, we give characterizations in terms of Fourier multipliers
and spectral properties of the cosine function. The results obtained are applied to elliptic partial differential operators.

AbstractLet X be a real Banach space and X? be its dual. Let F: X → X? and K: X? → X be Lipschitz monotone mappings. In this paper an explicit iterative scheme is constructed for approximating solutions of the Hammerstein type equation, 0 = u + KF u, when they exist. Strong convergence of the scheme is obtained under appropriate conditions. Our results improve and unify many of the results in the literature. 相似文献

We solve a certain differential equation and system of integral equations. As applications, we characterize holomorphic symbols of commuting Toeplitz operators on the pluriharmonic Bergman space. In addition, pluriharmonic symbols of normal Toeplitz operators are characterized. In this paper we derive existence and comparison results for initial value problems in ordered Banach spaces. The considered problems can be implicit, singular, functional, discontinuous and nonlocal. We derive explicit stability conditions for semilinear delay difference equations in a Banach space. It is assumed that the nonlinearities of the considered equations satisfy the local Lipschitz condition. By virtue of the new estimates for the norm of functions of quasi-Hermitian operators, explicit stability and boundedness conditions are given. In this paper, a class of boundary value problems associated with high-order partial functional differential equations with distributed deviating arguments is investigated. Some oscillation criteria of solutions to the problem are developed. Our approach is to reduce the multi-dimensional oscillation problem to a one-dimensional oscillation one by employing some integral means of solutions and introducing some parameter functions. This paper concerns the problem to classify linear time-varying finite dimensional systems of difference equations under kinematic similarity, i.e., under a uniformly bounded time-varying change of variables of which the inverse is also uniformly bounded. Also the problem of reducing difference equations by using such similarity transformations is studied. Both problems are solved for a number of subclasses, including equations with scalar coefficients, time-invariant equations, finitely supported equations, and equations with one jump. In this paper we consider Toeplitz operators on Dirichlet spaces of the unit disk in whose symbols are nonnegative measures. We obtain necessry and sufficient conditions on the symbols for the operator to be bounded and compact. If the symbols are supported in a cone we also get necessary and sufficient conditions for the operators to belong to the Schatten p-class. In this paper, self-adjoint extensions for second-order symmetric linear difference equations with real coefficients are studied. Some principles of the operator theory in a linear space with two norms are established in this paper.
