Abstract

This review‐type article deals with small, stable, compact, inexpensive, and low‐resolution interferometers mainly based on continuous or back and forth rotational motion to create the optical path difference. These interferometers are suitable for low‐resolution Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. The paper introduces the most typical interferometers illustrated with figures. For example, interferometers with retroreflectors such as corner cubes are presented. This work aims at developing a tilt compensated optical design where the optical path difference of the interferometer will be achieved with rotational scanning. The most important property of this optical design is large mechanical tolerances to make manufacturing easy and inexpensive. New interferometers based on rotational motion are described. The mechanical angle tolerances of these interferometers can be up to three orders of magnitude larger than the angle tolerances in commonly used corner cubes.  相似文献

We report, for the first time, evidence of near-field energy transfer among CuCl quantum cubes using an ultrahigh-resolution near-field optical microscopy and spectroscopy in the near UV region at 15 K. The sample was high-density CuCl quantum cubes embedded in a NaCl matrix. Measured spatial distributions of the luminescence intensities from 4.6-nm and 6.3-nm quantum cubes clearly established anticorrelation features. This is thought to be a manifestation of the energy transfer from the lowest state of exciton in 4.6-nm quantum cubes to the first dipole-forbidden excited state of exciton in 6.3-nm quantum cubes, which is attributed to the resonant optical near-field interaction.  相似文献

We report a beam-shaping technique that reconfigures the beams to improve the beam quality and enhance the power density for a ten-array high-power laser-diode stack by using two optical rectangular cubes and two stripe-mirror plates. The reshaped beam has threefold improvement in beam quality, and its power density is effectively enhanced. On the basis of this technique, we focus the beam of the high-power laser-diode stack to effectively end pump a high-power fiber laser.  相似文献

光纤光栅耦合器(FGC)具有光纤光栅良好的波长选择特性和光纤耦合器的多端口特点,易于实现全光纤的光波分插复用。光纤光栅耦合器主要有4种结构:基于M Z干涉仪的分离型、基于100%耦合器的非对称型、基于0耦合器的非对称型和基于100%耦合器的对称型。着重介绍对称结构光纤光栅耦合器的结构、工作原理和研究现状。提出了测试方案,并探讨了这种器件在大规模波分复用光纤传感器阵列中的应用。  相似文献

本文提出了一种基于线性光学的多通道混合纠缠态方案。最初的混合纠缠态是在连续变量猫态和分离变量单光子量子比特之间产生。该方案基于线性光学元件,利用分束器在初始混合纠缠态基础上产生多通道混合纠缠态(M组)。在此基础上,对每对混合纠缠态相对初始混合纠缠态的保真度进行了计算,并分析了保真度随所分份数多少及猫态大小的变化关系。这种多通道混合纠缠态将会为涉及分离变量与连续变量的多通道量子信息传输及存储、量子网络节点信息分布等提供重要的资源。  相似文献

This study presents a compact optical configuration that can generate a multiplex dot-matrix hologram with complex interlaced images for anti-counterfeiting applications on valuable paper. Varying the orientation of the interference plane can enable the multiplex hologram to be recorded without changing the interference angle of two laser beams. With its simple asymmetric optical setup, a multiplex hologram with many interlaced images can be efficiently fabricated, increasing the cost of imitation. Experimental details of the asymmetric optical setup are also described.  相似文献

In a 4?0Gb/s OTDM system (optical time-division-multiplication) system, multiplexing devices are key devices. The time interval of four channels of the 40Gb/s OTDM system is 25ps respectively. If the time intervals are no accurate, will induce the system performance to degeneration. In order to make out OTDM device and carry out a transmission experiment in a 40Gb/s OTDM system, a kind of OTDM device is researched. This scheme be used to fabricate multiplex device. Also the device have been used to a 40Gb/s OTDM system. Our experimental results shows that, the multiplex device based on the six 1 optical fiber couplers can be used to multiple at a time domain.That make four 10Gb/s optical signals multiple to 40Gb/s. The time interval error of each of channels is not bigger than 1ps, inserted loss is smaller than 2dB.  相似文献

在面向分组业务的全光交换系统中,采用全光地址处理技术可以减少处理时延,大大提高信息处理速度和网络吞吐量,对全光网络的研究具有重要意义。分析了光正交码的自相关性与互相关性,并将其特性应用于全光传送网中,以针对未来基于光分组业务的全光环网为例,提出了一种光分插复用器的新型结构,给出了总体应用设计规则,重点研究和分析了全光地址识别机理和相关的应用设计方法,给出了针对全光环网组网规模的仿真分析结构和基本实验结果。结果表明采用所提出的设计原则和设计方法来实现全光地址识别是可行的。  相似文献

采用光纤光栅悬臂梁线性调谐技术 ,提出了利用调谐滤波技术对光纤光栅复用传感信号进行检测的方案 ,在分析其基本工作原理的基础上 ,实验研究了其波分复用传感特性 ,传感测量的结果与光谱分析仪直接测量的结果基本一致。传感器的波长分辨率主要取决于系统的最小可探测光功率 ,由于采用了高灵敏度的光电测量系统 ,传感测量的波长分辨率可达 0 .0 0 5nm ,应变分辨率可达 5.7× 10 - 6 。  相似文献

为了在成像光通信中充分利用时间和空间两种频带资源,以成像光通信为基础,提出一种利用二维光正交Pattern码结合时域扩频实现光码分多址(OCDMA)编码的新方案。分析在该方案中存在的多址干扰噪声,并给出了噪声的概率密度函数,然后讨论由多址噪声引起的误码率与判决门限、用户数、码长积和码重积之间的关系。在相同的码容量下与时域扩频光码分多址编码和空间扩频光码分多址编码方案相比,该方案能降低对相关器件性能(时域码片数量和空间像素规模)的要求,而且还可获得更小的误码率。最后给出编码解码的光学实现方案。  相似文献

We propose a novel sideband interrogation technique with multiplex radio frequency intensity and phase modulation to measure the resonance frequency difference between two optical resonators. Based on this new technique, an ultrahighly sensitive fiber-optic static strain sensor system consisting of a pair of identical fiber Fabry-Perot interferometers is built by incorporating a cross-correlation data processing algorithm. A static strain resolution down to 0.8 nε is demonstrated experimentally, which makes the sensor system a useful tool for geophysical research applications.  相似文献

The method of integral equations, which is based on the Green function of periodically arranged sources, is used for analyzing periodic metamaterials (photonic crystals) in the form of the simplest metallic and dielectric inclusions into a rectangular cubic lattice in a dielectric medium (matrix). Dielectric inclusions in the form of parallelepipeds and cubes are considered, as well as similar metallic inclusions (perfectly conducting metal rods) and 1D nanosized structures with metallic layers. Metal inclusions are investigated in the case of ideal conduction and in the case of penetration of a field into the metal, which is simulated as an electron plasma. The results are applicable from microwave of optical frequencies.  相似文献

A compact prototype based on mid-infrared wavelength modulation spectroscopy(WMS)is developed for the simul-taneous monitoring of NO,NO_2,and NH_3 in the urban area.Three quantum cascade lasers(QCLs)with central frequencies around 1900.0 cm~(-1),1600.0 cm~(-1),and 1103.4 cm~(-1)are used for NO,NO_2,and NH3detections,respectively,by timedivision multiplex.An open-path multi-pass cell of 60-m optical path length is applied to the instrument for high sensitivity and reducing the response time to less than 1 s.The prototype achieves a sub-ppb detection limit for all the three target gases with an average time of about 100 s.The instrument is installed in the Jiangsu environmental monitoring center to conduct performance tests on ambient air.Continuous 24-hour measurements show good agreement with the results of a reference instrument based on the chemiluminescence technique.  相似文献

光纤传感技术已广泛应用于航空航天、石油化工、电子电力、土木工程、生物医药等领域,其技术形式主要体现为分立式和分布式.分立式光纤传感技术利用光纤敏感器件作为传感器来感知被测参量的变化,光纤作为光信号的传输通道连接光纤传感器及后端的解调装置;分布式光纤传感系统基于光纤瑞利散射、拉曼散射或布里渊散射等光学效应,利用光纤本身作为传感器,可对沿途的光信号进行大范围、长距离传感.本文介绍了分立式与分布式光纤传感中主要关键技术的研究进展,并对未来的研究和发展方向进行了探讨.  相似文献

The strong interaction of metal nanoparticles with light makes it possible to detect individual particles by far‐field optical methods. In this article, the interaction of a metal nanoparticle with a short laser pulse is discussed, with the emphasis on the coherent excitation of mechanical (acoustic) modes and the optical detection of these vibrations. The literature on acoustic vibrations of single metal nanoparticles of different shapes (spheres, dumbbells, rods, cubes, wires, prisms) is reviewed, and the modes that have been excited and detected in these particles are discussed. Finally, the insights and potential applications enabled by these studies are summarized.  相似文献

To extend the optical property characterization of metal–Cu2O polyhedra, 50 nm Au@Cu cubic cores are used to fabricate Au@Cu–Cu2O core–shell cubes, octahedra, and rhombic dodecahedra with tunable sizes. Despite the unusually large lattice mismatch of 15.1% between Cu and Cu2O, fine adjustment in the volumes of reagents introduced allows the formation of these heterostructures. To relieve the lattice strain, the metal cores are essentially never found to locate at the particle center, and slight lattice spacing shifts are recorded. Although efforts are made to reduce the heterostructure sizes, the Cu2O shells are generally too thick to reveal surface plasmon resonance (SPR) absorption band from the metal cores. Only the Au@Cu–Cu2O cubes with many cores located near the particle corners show observable SPR band red‐shift, but UV–vis spectra of all particle shapes are still dominated by Cu2O absorption and light scattering bands. Au@Cu–Cu2O cubes consistently show the most red‐shifted absorption bands than those of octahedra resulting from the optical facet effects.  相似文献

Crossed cubes are a class of promising parallel communication patterns. This paper addresses the issue of how to implement a half-duplex or full-duplex crossed cube on a WDM optical network with linear array topology. For either of these two communication patterns, a routing scheme, that is an embedding scheme, is proposed, and a wavelength assignment scheme under the embedding scheme is designed. The number of required wavelengths under the embedding scheme is shown to attain the minimum.  相似文献
