Using a previously developed framework for relativistic bound states we calculate the production of pseudoscalar glueballs in J/ψ radiative decays. The results favour the interpretation of ι(1460) as a fairly pure glueball state. Radiative production of ι(1460) in ϒ and toponium decays should be suppressed.  相似文献

We present a search for f(J)(2220) production in radiative J/ψ→γf(J)(2220) decays using 460 fb?1 of data collected with the BABAR detector at the SLAC PEP-II e(+)e? collider. The f(J)(2220) is searched for in the decays to K(+)K? and K(S)?K(S)?. No evidence of this resonance is observed, and 90% confidence level upper limits on the product of the branching fractions for J/ψ→γf(J)(2220) and f(J)(2220)→K(+)K?(K(S)?K(S)?) as a function of spin and helicity are set at the level of 10??, below the central values reported by the Mark III experiment.  相似文献

We discuss interference effects important for the form factors extraction in the vicinity of J/ψ andψ(2S)resonances in combination with resonance parameters determination.The implementation to the Monte Carlo event generator PHOKHARA of the J/ψ and ψ(2S)contributions to the muon,pion and kaon pairs production associated with a photon at next-to-leading order is also described.  相似文献

A measurement of the number of J/ψ events collected with the BESⅢ detector in 2009 and 2012 is performed using inclusive decays of the J/ψ. The number of J/ψ events taken in 2009 is recalculated to be(223.7±1.4)×10~6, which is in good agreement with the previous measurement, but with significantly improved precision due to improvements in the BESⅢ software. The number of J/ψ events taken in 2012 is determined to be(1086.9±6.0)×10~6. In total, the number of J/ψ events collected with the BESⅢ detector is measured to be(1310.6±7.0)×106, where the uncertainty is dominated by systematic effects and the statistical uncertainty is negligible.  相似文献

We study J/ψ inclusive production in the decays of P-wave bottomoninm χbJ(1P, 2P) for J=0,1,2.Within the framework of the non-relativistic QCD (NRQCD) factorization method we calculate the contributious coming from four relevant processes including one color-singlet process and three color-octet ones,which are b(_b)(3pJ,(_1))→c(_c)(3S1,(_8))+c+(_c), b(_b)(3S1,(_8))→c(_c_(3S1,(_1))+g+g, b(_b)(3S1,(_8))→c(_c)(3S1,(_1))+c+(_c) and b(_b)(3S1,(_8))→c(_c)(3S1,(_8))+g. Our calculation shows that the color-octet processes, especially the gluon fragmentation one, contribute the most in the decays of χb0 and χb1. However, the J/ψ production in the χb2 decay is dominated by the color-singlet process. Furthermore, the gluon fragmentation process gives a δ function in the energy fraction distribution of J/ψ, which can be considered to be another characteristic for its identification.From our estimation the branching ratio for these processes is about 10-4-10-5, which indicates that J/ψ inclusive production is detectable at B-factories. Studying these processes would help us to gain a deeper understanding of the color-octet mechanism.  相似文献

Recent experiments at LEAR have found surprisingly large branching ratios for reactions $\bar NN \to \phi \pi $ from S-wave initial states while noφπ production is observed from P states of the $\bar pp$ system. Also, noφπ is seen in radiative J/ψ decays even though the rate forωπ is substantial. We calculate theφπ production rates for these three cases viaKK* intermediate states and $K\bar K$ rescattering using the dispersion relation technique; we find that the largeφπ rate in $\bar pp$ annihilations from S states can be reproduced with a reasonable cut-off for the dispersion integral; for J/ψ decays the calculatedφπ rate is compatible with the observed upper limit. We would, however, expectφπ to be seen from $\bar pp$ P-states, in contrast to experimental findings. Yet the branching ratio for $\bar pp \to K*\bar K$ via isospinI = 1 of $\bar pp$ ,1 P 1 state is not known; and therefore no definite conclusion can be drawn. We also compare the Dalitz plots we obtain for directφ production and forφ production via rescattering. Clear differences between the two theoretical distributions are observed; yet very high precision data would be required to establish the origin — direct production or rescattering — of theφ mesons. This observation supports the use of the isobar model in data analyses.  相似文献

The decay channel ψ′→ π 〉+π^-J/ψ(J/ψ 〉 γp^-p) is studied using a sample of 1.06 × 10^8 ψ′ events collected by the BESIII experiment at BEPCII. A strong enhancement at threshold is observed in the p^-p invariant mass spectrum. The enhancement can be fitted with an S-wave Breit-Wigner resonance function with a resulting peak mass of M = 1861-13^+6 (stat)-26^+7 (syst) MeV/c^2 and a narrow width that is Г 〈 38 MeV/c^2 at the 90% confidence level. These results are consistent with published BESII results. These mass and width values do not match with well established mesons.  相似文献

Based on the branching fractions of J/ψ(ψ(2S))→ VP from different collaborations, pseudoscalar mixing is extensively discussed with a well established phenomenological model. The mixing angle is determined to be -14° by fitting to the new world average if only quark content is considered. After taking into account the gluonic content in η and η' simultaneously, the investigation shows that η favors only consisting of light quarks, while the gluonic content of η' is Z2η', = 0.30±0.24.  相似文献

We study two-body B_((c))→M_c(π,K) and semileptonic B_c→M_cl~-v_1 decays with M_c=(J/φ,X_c~0),where X_c~0=X~0(3872) is regarded as the tetraquark state ccuu(dd).With the decay constant f_x_c~O=(234±52) MeV determined from the data,we predict that B(B~-→X_c~0π~-) =(11.5±5.7)×10~(-6),B(B~C→X_c~0K~0)=(2.1±1.0)×10~(-4),and B(B_s~0→X_c~0K~0)=(11.4±5.6)×10~(-6).With the form factors in QCD models,we calculate that B(B_c~-→X_c~0π~-,X_c~0K~-)=(6.0±2.6)×10~(-5) and(4.7±2.0)×10~(-6),and B(B_c~-→J/φμ~-v_μ~-v_μ,X_c~0μ~-v_μ)=(2.3±0.6)×10~(-2) and(1.35±0.18)×10~(-3),respectively,and extract the ratio of the fragmentation fractions to be f_c/f_u=(6.4±1.9)×10~(-3).  相似文献

The phenomenon of the near ppˉ-threshold enhancement observed in the J/ψ→γ pp decay is studied by using the enhancement factor method with a simpler one-pion-exchange potential between p and p. The Jost function caused by the mentioned potential is perturbatively calculated in the zero-th order approximation, and the corresponding enhancement factor is obtained. It is found that such a final state interaction offers an important contribution to the decay width near the ppˉ-threshold, although it is not large enough. To explain the decay data, a phenomenological factor G(p) with the form of 285500/(m 2 π + p 2 ) should be introduced. A further calculation including the p-dependent bare T -matrix, a more realistic N ˉ N potential and the contribution from the higher-order wave functions would provide a better understanding of the decay data and even the existence of the baryonium ppˉ. The near ppˉ-threshold behavior of the decay width in the J/ψ→π 0 pp process is also discussed.  相似文献

We search for the ψ(4S) state in the B~±→ηJ/ψK~± and e~+e~-→ηJ/ψ processes based on the Belle measurements with the assumed mass M =(4230±8) MeV/c~2 and width Γ =(38±12) MeV. No significant signal is observed in the ηJ/ψ mass spectra. The 90% confidence level upper limit on the product branching fraction B(B~±→ψ(4S)K~±)B(ψ(4S)→ηJ/ψ) 6.8×10~(-6) is obtained in the B~±→ηJ/ψK~± decays. By assuming the partial width of ψ(4S)→e~+e~-to be 0.63 ke V, a branching fraction limitB(ψ(4S)→ηJ/ψ) 1.3% is obtained at the 90%confidence level in e~+e~-→ηJ/ψ, which is consistent with the theoretical prediction.  相似文献

The decays are taken as a test ground for the g*g*(') transition form factors and the η-η' mixing scheme.
