Using adiabatic approximation, a two arbitrary qubits Rabi model has been studied in ultra-strong coupling. The analytical expressions of the eigenvalues and the eigenvalues are obtained. They are in accordance with the numerical determined results. The dynamical behavior of the system and the evolution of entanglement have also been discussed. The collapse and revival phenomena has garnered particular attention. The influence of inconsistent coupling strength on them is studied. These results will be applied in quantum information processing.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a comprehensive analysis of the coherence phenomenon of two coupled dissipative oscillators. The action of a classical driving field on one of the oscillators is also analyzed. Master equations are derived for both regimes of weakly and strongly interacting oscillators from which interesting results arise concerning the coherence properties of the joint and the reduced system states. The strong coupling regime is required to achieve a large frequency shift of the oscillator normal modes, making it possible to explore the whole profile of the spectral density of the reservoirs. We show how the decoherence process may be controlled by shifting the normal mode frequencies to regions of small spectral density of the reservoirs. Different spectral densities of the reservoirs are considered and their effects on the decoherence process are analyzed. For oscillators with different damping rates, we show that the worse-quality system is improved and vice versa, a result which could be useful for quantum state protection. State recurrence and swap dynamics are analyzed as well as their roles in delaying the decoherence process.  相似文献

We study a charge qubit with level splitting epsilon, coupled to a quantum point contact driven by voltage V. In the limit of weak coupling, the qubit polarization shows cusps at epsilon=+/-eV. We show that, for stronger couplings, prominent peculiarities occur at fractions epsilon=+/-eV/2. Further increase of the coupling leads to a polarization corresponding to a pseudo Boltzmann distribution with an effective temperature approximately eV.  相似文献

We show theoretically that entangled photon pairs can be produced on demand through the biexciton decay of a quantum dot strongly coupled to the modes of a photonic crystal. The strong coupling allows us to tune the energy of the mixed exciton-photon (polariton) eigenmodes and to overcome the natural splitting existing between the exciton states coupled with different linear polarizations of light. Polariton states are moreover well protected against dephasing due to their lifetime of ten to a hundred times shorter than that of a bare exciton. Our analysis shows that the scheme proposed is achievable with the present technology.  相似文献

We study the long-time average of the reduced density matrix(RDM) of a two-level system as the central system, which is locally coupled to a many-body quantum chaotic system as the environment,under an overall Schr?dinger evolution. A phenomenological relation among elements of the RDM is proposed for a dissipative interaction in the strong coupling regime and is tested numerically with the environment as a defect Ising chain, as well as a mixed-field Ising chain.  相似文献

We study dynamics of the interaction between two weak light beams mediated by a strongly coupled quantum dot-photonic crystal cavity system. First, we perform all-optical switching of a weak continuous-wave signal with a pulsed control beam, and then perform switching between two weak pulsed beams (40 ps pulses). Our results show that the quantum dot-nanocavity system enables fast, controllable optical switching at the single-photon level.  相似文献

We theoretically investigate the density of states (DOS) of a quantum dot weakly coupled to Luttinger liquid (LL) leads in the Kondo regime by use of the equation-of-motion technique of the nonequilibrium Green functions. At zero temperature, the Kondo peak in DOS is suppressed by the intralead interaction. When the LL interaction parameter K   is about 0.77, a moderately strong interaction, the Kondo peak disappears and then a dip develops, a signature of the intermediate two-channel Kondo (2CK) physics. This shows that the condition for the 2CK to occur ever addressed is not necessary. Applying a finite voltage bias splits the dip in the DOS. Each split dip is located at the chemical potential of a LL lead. This again appears the stabilized 2CK physics for moderately strong interaction K<1K<1.  相似文献

The Landau-Zener transition is a fundamental concept for dynamical quantum systems and has been studied in numerous fields of physics. Here, we present a classical mechanical model system exhibiting analogous behavior using two inversely tunable, strongly coupled modes of the same nanomechanical beam resonator. In the adiabatic limit, the anticrossing between the two modes is observed and the coupling strength extracted. Sweeping an initialized mode across the coupling region allows mapping of the progression from diabatic to adiabatic transitions as a function of the sweep rate.  相似文献

The dependence of the transition from the strong-coupling regime to the weak-coupling regime on the polariton spin orientation in a InGaAs semiconductor microcavity is experimental studied by means of time-resolved photoluminescence. Polaritons are created by non-resonant circularly-polarized optical excitation and the power intensity that breaks the strong coupling is found to be much lower for co-polarized polaritons than that for cross-polarized polaritons. Coulomb screening effects alone cannot explain the stronger loss of oscillator strength for majority excitons (co-polarized) and spin-dependent mechanisms are required to justify such behaviour.  相似文献

Beyond the rotating-wave approximation, the dynamics of a quantum oscillator interacting strongly and off-resonantly with a two-level system exhibit beatings, whose period equals the revival time of the two-level system. On a longer time scale, the quantum oscillator shows collapses, revivals and fractional revivals, which are encountered in oscillator observables like the mean number of oscillator quanta and in the two-level inversion population. Also the scattered oscillator field shows doublets with symmetrically displaced peaks.  相似文献
