Summary In this paper, using the theory of henselian rings and in particular the notion of henselian and strict henselian couples, we study the behaviour of analytic branches of an affine algebraic variety at a point x, when x varies along a singular subvariety; moreover we construct an algebraic and canonical procedure, which parametrises the branches.

Anelli Henseliani topologici

Summary In the present work we give a generalization of the concept of ? ring henselian with respect to its idealm ?, by introducing the concept of ? ring henselian with respect to the idealm and the linear topology τ ?. Then we get the henselization of a triple (A,m, τ) (ring, ideal, linear topology) and investigate its relations with completion, mainly in the ?m-adic ? situation. Among our results there is also a reformulation, with less restrictive hypothesis, of the Hensel lemma as it is given in Bourbaki.

OnE-compact modules over SISI rings

Summary We extend to the case of SISI rings, studied by Vamos in [8], the duality for noetherian rings studied by Orsatti in [7]. We prove that some properties of this duality can be generalized, while others hold only in the noetherian case.

A multiplicity result for a class of nonlinear boundary value problems of the ambrosetti-prodi type

Summary In this paper we prove the existence of at least two solutions for a nonlinear elliptic boundary value problem of the Ambrosetti-Prodi type in the case when there exist two suitable supersolutions. This result follows from an abstract theorem of existence of multiple solutions which is a variant of a result due to Ambrosetti and Hess, [5].

Summary There are some inequalities concerning the module of derivations of a local ring which are true in characteristic0 and false in general in characteristic p≠0 (as it is well known); in the present paper we prove that such inequalities in char. p are true for the module of integrable derivations. Moreover we give some sufficient conditions for an associated prime ideal to be differentiable in char. p.

Summary We consider uniform elliptic equations of the second order in a domain with the exterior cone property and we investigate the H?lder exponent and coefficient of the solutions near the boundary. We prove that both are independent by the continuity of the differential operator wit respect to the variables.

Stabilità asintotica in media per moti fluidi viscosi in domini esterni

Summary In this paper we prove some asymptotic stability results for Navier-Stokes fluid filling an exterior domain. In particular, we show that if the Reynolds number associated to the basic flow is sufficiently small, then the energy of perturbations tends to zero as t,provided only that the energy is finite at t=0.This result also solves, as a special case, a problem pointed out by J. Leray in [25].

Einige Resultate über die III-Hauptflächen eines Strahlensystems

Stephanidis has introduced the third quadratic differential form III of a rectilinear congruence S in the real 3-dimensional Euclidean space [6]. In the present paper we prove that the form III can be expressed in terms of the first and the second quadratic form of the congruence S and of the second fundamental form of the middle enveloppe M(u,v) of S. Further, we study the congruences, for which the III-principle surfaces coincide with some well-known ruled surfaces of the congruence S.

Comatrix corings and invertible bimodules

We extend Masuoka's Theorem [11] concerning the isomorphism between the group of invertible bimodules in a non-commutative ring extension and the group of automorphisms of the associated Sweedler's canonical coring, to the class of finite comatrix corings introduced in [6].

Summary We study boundary value problems in variational form for nonlinear elliptic operators in the case the nonlinearity is not of polynomial type. We give some examples of applications of abstract theorems for homogeneous problems obtained by other authors (e.g. Donaldson, Grossez) to homogeneous «intermediate» and «mixed» problems. Furthermore we prove some existence theorems for non homogeneous problems.

Summary We give some characterizations of noetherian domains A such that ? every irreducible element generates a primary ideal ?. This condition, called (α)-property, is equivalent to the unique factorization if A is normal or a polynomial ring A=B[T]. If A is a1-dimensional k-algebra, the property (α) is equivalent to the vanishing of some Picard groups asPicA,Pic (A[T, T⁻¹]),Pic (A|T|_s), where S={Tⁿ, n εZ}. We give not trivial examples of (α)-rings which aren’t factorial.

Summary In this paper we consider compact holomorphically convex subsets of a non reduced analytic space and we prove that they are characterized, as in the reduced case, by the analogous of Cartan's theoremsA andB. We give also a characterization of some morphisms in a compact holomorphically convex set.

Nichtlineare Tschebyscheff Approximation mit Nebenbedingungen: Anwendungen

Summary In this paper we give some applications resulting from the theory of nonlinear approximation under side-conditions developed in a preceding paper [3]. Particularly a necessary condition for best approximation in terms of a generalized alternant is discussed, the approximating functions having restricted ranges. As special cases of this kind we deduce theorems for one-sided approximation and for approximations by positive functions. We conclude with a result in the theory of nonlinear programming.

Sull'esistenza delle soluzioni delle equazioni differenziali ordinarie in forma implicita negli spazi di Banach

Summary This paper deals with the existence of solutions for the implicit Cauchy problem F(t, x, x)=_B, x(t₀)=x₀ in a Banach space B. By using the Kuratowski and the Hausdorff measure of non compactness, we prove an existence theorem for the previous problem (Teorema 1.1) and its extension to non compact intervals (Teorema 2.1). These results generalize the previous ones by R.Conti [1] (in the case B=R), G.Pulvirenti [2] and T. Dominguez Benavides [3], [4] (in the general case). In particular, we relax a Lipschitz condition assumed by all of the abovementioned authors. Some applications of Teorema 2.1 are presented.

Sulle equazioni ellittiche del secondo ordine a coefficienti continui

Summary It is considered a linear second order uniformly elliptic partial differential equation, where coefficients of second derivatives are supposed uniformly continuous and the other ones belong to suitable L_p classes. I prove some result about existence and uniqueness of the solution of the Dirichlet problem in the space H²(Ω) ∩ H ₀ ¹ (Ω).
