Under the condition of Lipschitzean right-hand side the existence and uniqueness of the solution is proven, also the continuous dependence on the right-hand side and initial condition is shown. A fuzzy program is defined in the usual way as a sequence of statements (instruction) which are considered as functions (possibly fuzzy functions) and fuzzy predicates defined on the given input domain. The essential difference in the approach presented in this paper is the new interpretation of the execution of fuzzy programs, and a new method of evaluating fuzzy predicates. In this paper, a periodic review inventory system has been analyzed in a mixed imprecise and uncertain environment where fuzziness and randomness appear simultaneously. A model has been developed with customer demand assumed to be a fuzzy random variable. The lead-time has been assumed to be a constant. The lead-time demand and the lead-time plus one period’s demand have also been assumed to be fuzzy random variables. A methodology has been developed to determine the optimal inventory level and the optimal period of review such that the total expected annual cost in the fuzzy sense is minimized. Two most widely used approaches to treating goals of different importance in goal programming (GP) are: (1) weighted GP, where importance of goals is modelled using weights, and (2) preemptive priority GP, where a goal hierarchy is specified implying infinite trade-offs among goals placed in different levels of importance. These approaches may be too restrictive in modelling of real life decision making problems. In this paper, a novel fuzzy goal programming method is proposed, where the hierarchical levels of the goals are imprecisely defined. The imprecise importance relations among the goals are modelled using fuzzy relations. An additive achievement function is defined, which takes into consideration both achievement degrees of the goals and degrees of satisfaction of the fuzzy importance relations. In this paper we discuss how to select the optimal policy from a set of possible policies for a model of forest succession, which can be characterized by a set of trees and the corresponding average life-span with each possible tree transition. The transition probabilities are estimated by counting the numbers of sapling trees of each species under a canopy tree. [1]. In our setting the transition matrix is defined by using the linguistic terms and as a consequence, the expected longevity of each tree is fuzzy. For structural system with fuzzy variables as well as random variables, a novel algorithm for obtaining membership function of fuzzy reliability is presented on interval optimization based Line Sampling (LS) method. In the presented algorithm, the value domain of the fuzzy variables under the given membership level is firstly obtained according to their membership functions. Then, in the value domain of the fuzzy variables, bounds of reliability of the structure are obtained by the nesting analysis of the interval optimization, which is performed by modern heuristic methods, and reliability analysis, which is achieved by the LS method in the reduced space of the random variables. In this way the uncertainties of the input variables are propagated to the safety measurement of the structure, and the membership function of the fuzzy reliability is obtained. The presented algorithm not only inherits the advantage of the direct Monte Carlo method in propagating and distinguishing the fuzzy and random uncertainties, but also can improve the computational efficiency tremendously in case of acceptable precision. Several examples are used to illustrate the advantages of the presented algorithm. 相似文献

Solving fuzzy queueing decision problems via a parametric mixed integer nonlinear programming method
This paper proposes a mathematical programming method to construct the membership functions of the fuzzy objective value of the cost-based queueing decision problem with the cost coefficients and the arrival rate being fuzzy numbers. On the basis of Zadeh’s extension principle, three pairs of mixed integer nonlinear programs (MINLP) parameterized by the possibility level α are formulated to calculate the lower and upper bounds of the minimal expected total cost per unit time at α, through which the membership function of the minimal expected total cost per unit time of the fuzzy objective value is constructed. To provide a suitable optimal service rate for designing queueing systems, the Yager’s ranking index method is adopted. Two numerical examples are solved successfully to demonstrate the validity of the proposed method. Since the objective value is completely expressed by a membership function rather than by a crisp value, it conserves the fuzziness of the input information, thus more information is provided for designing queueing systems. The successful extension of queueing decision models to fuzzy environments permits queueing decision models to have wider applications in practice. 相似文献

A theory of fuzzy random variables is developed that applies to situations involving both randomness and fuzziness. The use of membership functions that are quasi-concave play an important role in the theory. The expectation of a fuzzy random variable is a fuzzy variable (fuzzy set). The theory of fuzzy power sets, which has hitherto been insufficiently developed, is shown very naturally to require the use of a fuzzy implication operator (Section 1). Six such operators are gathered from the literature on multiple-valued logic (Section 2), and their effects on fuzzy power-set theory are compared throughout the rest of the paper. After certain fundamental definitions of set characteristics (Section 3), the six operators are carried in parallel while working out basic aspects of power-set theory. Among these are the properties of the set-inclusion relation and the set-equivalence relation (Section 4), two distinct concepts of disjointness (Section 5), questions of consistency in the relations between a set and its complement (Section 6), and a very concrete theorem on a difference among the operators with regard to the derivation of crisp conclusions from fuzzy premises (Section 7). In this paper, we introduce and study the random variational inclusions with random fuzzy and random relaxed cocoercive mappings. We define an iterative algorithm for finding the approximate solutions of this class of variational inclusions and establish the convergence of iterative sequences generated by proposed algorithm. In this paper, a multiobjective quadratic programming problem having fuzzy random coefficients matrix in the objective and constraints and the decision vector are fuzzy pseudorandom variables is considered. First, we show that the efficient solutions of fuzzy quadratic multiobjective programming problems are resolved into series-optimal-solutions of relative scalar fuzzy quadratic programming. Some theorems are proved to find an optimal solution of the relative scalar quadratic multiobjective programming with fuzzy coefficients, having decision vectors as fuzzy variables. The paper considers a particular family of fuzzy monotone set-valued stochastic processes. The proposed setting allows us to investigate suitable α-level sets of such processes, modeling birth-and-growth processes. A decomposition theorem is established to characterize the nucleation and the growth. As a consequence, different consistent set-valued estimators are studied for growth process. Moreover, the nucleation process is studied via the hitting function, and a consistent estimator of the nucleation hitting function is derived. 相似文献
