Vapour-liquid equilibrium of CO2 + [0.00871 glycerol + 0.99129 (ethanol or 1-propanol or 1-butanol)] mixtures was measured at the temperatures of 313.15 K and 333.15 K, and close to the critical line, at pressures up to 12 MPa. On the liquid side, the bubble points measured for these ternary mixtures follow closely the behaviour of VLE reported by several authors for the corresponding binary mixtures without glycerol. On the vapour side, however, dew points for the ternary mixtures deviate significantly from VLE results for the binaries. A correlation of the results obtained for the CO2 + glycerol + ethanol mixture with the Peng-Robinson equation of state, admitting quasi-binary behaviour, equally yields good agreement on the liquid side, and significant deviations on the vapour side.  相似文献

Experimental vapor–liquid equilibria (VLE) for the CO2 + n-nonane and CO2 + n-undecane systems were obtained by using a 100-cm3 high-pressure titanium cell up to 20 MPa at four temperatures (315, 344, 373, and 418 K). The apparatus is based on the static-analytic method; which allows fast determination of the coexistence curve. For the CO2 + n-nonane system, good agreement was found between the experimental data and those reported in literature. No literature data were available for the CO2 + n-undecane system at high temperature and pressure. Experimental data were correlated with the Peng–Robinson equation of state using the classical and the Wong–Sandler mixing rules.  相似文献

The phase behavior of carbon dioxide (CO2) and the ionic liquid (IL) 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([bmim][Cl]) was measured and correlated at high pressures up to ∼40 MPa and at temperatures between 353.15 K and 373.15 K. The solubility data of CO2 in [bmim][Cl] were obtained by observing the bubble point pressure at specific temperatures. A variable-volume view cell, which is a high-pressure equilibrium apparatus, was used to measure the CO2 + [bmim][Cl] system solubility under varying pressure and temperature conditions. In addition, liquid–liquid–vapor (LLV) three-phase behavior was investigated using the equilibrium cell to be able to determine the classification of phase-behavior type by Scott and Van Konynenburg. Based on the LLV phase behavior, this system most likely has type III phase-behavior which is common for IL + CO2 systems. The resulting data showed that CO2 dissolved well in the IL at low CO2 concentrations, but that the pressure derivative of CO2 solubility dramatically decreased as the mole fraction of CO2 was increased. The experimental data were well fitted by the Peng–Robinson equation of state with a quadratic mixing rule and cubic parameters estimated by the Joback method.  相似文献

Binary vapor–liquid equilibrium data were measured for the carbon dioxide (CO2) + 2,2-dichloro-1,1,1-trifluoroethane (R123) system and the carbon dioxide (CO2) + 1-chloro-1,2,2,2-tetrafluoroethane (R124) system at temperature from 313.15 to 333.15 K. These experiments were carried out with a circulating-type apparatus with on-line gas chromatography. The experimental data were correlated well by Peng–Robinson equation of state using the Wong–Sandler mixing rules.  相似文献

In the present communication, we report the studies concerning liquid–liquid–solid equilibria for the ternary system sodium thiosulphate (Na2S2O3) + ethanol + water at ambient pressure and at room temperature (303 ± 2 K). The solubility data of Na2S2O3 are reported for solutions in water, ethanol and solutions of varying concentrations of ethanol in water. The phase diagram for the said system is developed, described and compared with similar system K2CO3 + methanol + water. These results have been explained in terms of structural properties of aqueous ethanol solutions and further discussed in terms of the effect of ions to cause phase separation.  相似文献

An apparatus based on the static-analytic method was used to measure the vapor–liquid equilibria (VLE) for CO2 + alkanol systems. Equilibrium measurements for the CO2 + 1-propanol system were performed from 344 to 426 K. For the case of the CO2 + 2-propanol system, measurements were made from 334 to 443 K, and for the CO2 + 1-butanol were obtained from 354 to 430 K. VLE data were correlated with the Peng–Robinson equation of state using the classical and the Wong–Sandler mixing rules. Moreover, compressed liquid densities for the n-dodecane and n-tridecane were obtained via a vibrating tube densitometer at temperatures from 313 to 363 K and pressures up to 25 MPa. The Starling and Han (BWRS), and The five-parameter Modified Toscani-Swarcz (MTS) equations were used to correlate them. The experimental density data were compared with those from literature, and with the calculated values obtained from available equations for these n-alkanes.  相似文献

H2O + Ni(NO3)2 binary system were investigated in the temperature range from −25 °C to 55 °C. The solid-liquid equilibria of the ternary system H2O + Fe(NO3)3 + Ni(NO3)2 were studied using a synthetic method based on conductivity measurements. Tow isotherms were established at 0 °C and 30 °C, and the appearing stable solid phases are iron nitrate nonahydrate (Fe(NO3)3·9H2O), iron nitrate hexahydrate (Fe(NO3)3·6H2O), nickel nitrate hexahydrate (Ni(NO3)2·6H2O) and nickel nitrate tetrahydrate (Ni(NO3)2·4H2O).  相似文献

A comprehensive thermodynamic model based on the electrolyte NRTL (eNRTL) activity coefficient equation is developed for the NaCl + H2O binary, the Na2SO4 + H2O binary and the NaCl + Na2SO4 + H2O ternary. The NRTL binary parameters for pairs H2O-(Na+, Cl) and H2O-(Na+, SO42−), and the aqueous phase infinite dilution heat capacity parameters for ions Cl and SO42− are regressed from fitting experimental data on mean ionic activity coefficient, heat capacity, liquid enthalpy and dissolution enthalpy for the NaCl + H2O binary and the Na2SO4 + H2O binary with electrolyte concentrations up to saturation and temperature up to 473.15 K. The Gibbs energy of formation, enthalpy of formation and heat capacity parameters for solids NaCl(s), NaCl·2H2O(s), Na2SO4(s) and Na2SO4·10H2O(s) are obtained by fitting experimental data on solubilities of NaCl and Na2SO4 in water. The NRTL binary parameters for the (Na+, Cl)-(Na+, SO42−) pair are regressed from fitting experimental data on dissolution enthalpies and solubilities for the NaCl + Na2SO4 + H2O ternary.  相似文献

Solid–liquid, liquid–liquid and vapour–liquid equilibrium measurements for binary and ternary systems containing building blocks of biomass origin such as propionic acid, lactic acid and alternative solvents like carbon dioxide and 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ionic liquid have been carried out at 313.15 K. The binary solid–liquid and liquid–liquid equilibrium measurements were performed at ambient pressure. The vapour–liquid equilibrium was studied in the range of pressure from 3.54 to 12 MPa while ternary systems were examined at 9, 10 and 12 MPa. The samples from the coexisting phases were taken and the compositions of both liquid and vapour phases were determined experimentally. The three-phase system was observed for lactic acid + ionic liquid + CO2 as well. The achieved results were correlated using the Peng–Robinson equation of state with the Mathias–Klotz–Prausnitz mixing rule. The set of interaction parameters for the employed equations of state and the mixing rule for the investigated systems were obtained.  相似文献

Liquid–vapour and fluid–solid phase transitions were experimentally determined under pressure on the system methane + a ternary waxy mixture using a full visibility cell. The wax was an approximately equimolar mixture of n-C16, n-C17 and n-C18, the composition being chosen to obtain a mixture with an average molecular weight similar to heptadecane. Measurements were performed according to the synthetic method on different mixtures ranging from 0 to 99.5 mol% of methane. The liquid–solid phase transitions were investigated up to 100 MPa and fluid phase boundary was studied in the temperature domain from 293 to 373 K. Measurements performed on this pseudo-binary system were compared to the phase diagram of the binary system methane + heptadecane.  相似文献

Isothermal vapor–liquid equilibrium data determined by the static method at 303.15 K are reported for the binary systems propyl vinyl ether + 1-propanol, 1-propanol + 2,2,4-trimethylpentane and propyl vinyl ether + 2,2,4-trimethylpentane and also for the ternary system propyl vinyl ether + 1-propanol + 2,2,4-trimethyl-pentane. Additionally, new excess volume data are reported for the same systems at 298.15 K. The experimental binary and ternary vapor–liquid equilibrium data were correlated with different GE models and excess molar volume data were correlated with the Redlich–Kister equation for the binary systems and the Cibulka equation for the ternary system, respectively.  相似文献

Liquid–liquid equilibria of systems water (A) + CiEj surfactant (B) + n-alkane (C) have been modeled by a mass-action law model previously developed and so far successfully applied to a series of binary water + CiEj systems and to the ternary system water + C4E1 + n-dodecane. These calculations provide the basis for the presented modeling. The aqueous systems give information about the association constants and the χAB-parameter of the Flory–Huggins theory and the ternary C4E1-system provides universal temperature functions for the χAC- and the χBC-parameter. The three-phase equilibrium for seven ternary CiEj systems (i = 6–12, j = 3–6) has been calculated by fitting one additional parameter for each of both temperature functions to the characteristic “fish-tail” point. The agreement with the experimental data is reasonably well. For systems with very small three-phase areas the results can considerably be improved by individual temperature functions that incorporate the experimental temperature maximum of the “fish” into the parameter fit. Based on the parameters of the system water + C8E4 + n-C8H18 the “fish-shaped” phase diagram of the system water + C8E4 + n-C14H30 was predicted reasonably well.  相似文献

The mechanisms for the reaction of CF3O2 with atomic hydrogen were studied with ab initio and DFT methods. The results reveal that the reaction could take place on the singlet and triplet potential energy surfaces (PES). For the singlet PES, addition/elimination and substitution mechanisms are determined, and the former one is dominant. The most favorable channel involves the association of CF3O2 with H atom to form CF3O2H (IM1) via a barrierless process, and then the O–O bond dissociates to give out CF3O + OH. The secondary product might be CF3OH + O, formed from the O–O bond cleavage in the initial adduct CF3O(H)O (IM2). Other products such as CF3 + O2H, HF + CF2O2 and O2 + CHF3 are of no importances because of higher barriers. On the triplet PES, only substitution mechanism is located. With higher barriers involving, the channels on the triplet PES could be negligible compared with the channels on the singlet PES.  相似文献

Isothermal vapor-liquid equilibrium data at 333.15 K are reported for the ternary systems {di-methyl carbonate (DMC) + ethanol + benzene} and {DMC + ethanol + toluene} as determined with headspace gas chromatography. The experimental ternary vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data were correlated with different activity coefficient models. The excess volume (VE) and deviations in molar refractivity (ΔR) data are reported for the binary systems {DMC + benzene} and {DMC + toluene} and also for the ternary systems {DMC + ethanol + benzene} and {DMC + ethanol + toluene} at 298.15 K. These VE and ΔR data were correlated with the Redlich-Kister equation for binary systems and the Cibulka equation for ternary systems.  相似文献

The equilibrium pressure of ternary mixtures of {x1CH3F + x2HCl + x3N2O} covering the entire composition range has been measured at temperature of 182.33 K by the static method. The system exhibits a minimum pressure for the binary {x1CH3F + x2HCl}. The molar excess Gibbs free energy has been calculated from the experimental equilibrium pressure. For the equimolar mixture . The (pxy) surface for the ternary system and the corresponding curves for the three constituent binary mixtures obtained from the Peng-Robinson equation of state are in agreement with the experimental data.  相似文献

A flow-type method was adopted to measure the vapor–liquid equilibria for methanol + methyl laurate and methanol + methyl myristate systems at 493–543 K, near the critical temperature of methanol (Tc = 512.64 K), and 2.16–8.49 MPa. The effect of temperature and fatty acid methyl esters to the phase behavior was discussed. The mole fractions of methanol in liquid phase are almost the same for both systems. In vapor phase, the mole fractions of methanol are very close to unity at all temperatures. The present vapor–liquid equilibrium data were correlated by PRASOG. A binary parameter was introduced to the combining rule of size parameter. The binary parameters of methanol + fatty acid methyl ester systems were determined by fitting the present experimental data. The correlated results are in good agreement with the experimental data. The vapor–liquid equilibria for methanol + methyl laurate + glycerol and methanol + methyl myristate + glycerol ternary systems were also predicted using the methanol + fatty acid methyl ester binary parameters. The mole fractions of methanol in vapor phase are around unity even if glycerol is included in the systems.  相似文献

Densities, refractive indices and dynamic viscosities of binary and ternary mixtures composed of isopropyl acetate, isopropanol, 1-octyl-3-methyl-imidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([C8mim][NTf2]) have been determined at 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure. The excess molar volumes and dynamic viscosity changes of mixing have been calculated and correlated using the Redlich–Kister polynomial equation. Isobaric vapour–liquid equilibrium (VLE) data have been determined experimentally for these binary and ternary systems at 101.32 kPa. The equilibrium data have been adequately correlated by means of Wilson, NRTL, and UNIQUAC equations for the liquid phase activity coefficient.  相似文献

The bubble-points pressures of solute(s) + ethanol + water + CO2 mixtures were determined visually using a synthetic method in an experimental apparatus that included a variable-volume equilibrium cell. Tested solutes included boldo leaf tincture, a boldine + catechin mixture, pure boldine, and pure catechin. Uncertainties in bubble-point pressures were estimated to be <5%, based on comparisons with literature values and replicate measurements. The largest effect we observed was an average increase of 205% in the bubble-point pressure when decreasing the ethanol-to-water ratio from 63:37 to 37:63 (w/w). The bubble-point pressure increased 11% when increasing the temperature from 313 to 343 K, and decreased 8.2% when increasing the concentration of solids from 400 to 1500 ppm. The bubble-point pressure was higher for boldo leaf tincture than for a boldine + catechin mixture having the same boldine-to-catechin weight ratio, but this was partially due to a lower content of solids in the tincture. On the other hand, bubble-point pressures of the boldine + catechin mixture were marginally (0.33%) higher than the weighed average of the bubble-point pressures for pure boldine and pure catechin.  相似文献

A complete, critical evaluation of all phase diagram and thermodynamic data was performed for all phases of the (Na2SO4 + K2SO4 + Na2S2O7 + K2S2O7) system and optimized model parameters were obtained. The Modified Quasichemical Model in the Quadruplet Approximation was used for modelling the liquid phase. The model evaluates first- and second-nearest-neighbour short-range ordering, where the cations (Na+ and K+) are assumed to mix on a cationic sublattice, while anions were assumed to mix on an anionic sublattice. The Compound Energy Formalism was used for modelling the solid solutions of (Na,K)2SO4 and (Na,K)2S2O7. The models can be used to predict the thermodynamic properties and phase equilibria in multicomponent heterogeneous systems. The experimental data from the literature were reproduced within experimental error limits.  相似文献
