Within the drive-response configuration, this paper considers the synchronization of uncertain chaotic systems based on observers and chaos-based secure communication. Even if there are unknown disturbances and parameters in the drive system, a robust adaptive observer can be used as response system to realize chaotic synchronization. The proposed method is then applied to secure communication. The transmitter is constructed by injecting the information into the drive system with proper manner and one of the transmitting signal is the sum of one of the output and the information signal. The Lur’e chaotic system is considered as an illustrative example to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approaches.  相似文献

In this paper, a secure communication technique, using a chaotic system with a single adjustable parameter and a single observable time series, is proposed. The chosen chaotic system, which is a variant of the famous Rikitake model, has a special structure for which the adjustable parameter appears in the dynamic equation of the observable time series. This particular structure is used to build a synchronization-based state observer that is decoupled from the adaptive parameter identifier. A local Lyapunov function is used to design the parameter identifier, with an adjustable convergence rate that guarantees the stability of the overall system. A two-channel transmission method is used to exemplify the suggested technique where the secret message is encoded using a nonlinear function of both the chaotic states and the adjustable parameter of the chaotic system that acts as a secret key. Simulations show that, at the receiver, the signal can be efficiently retrieved only if the secret key is known, even when both the receiver and the transmitter are in perfect synchronization. The proposed technique is demonstrated to have improved security and privacy against intruders, when compared to other techniques reported in the literature, while being simple to implement using both analog and digital hardware. In addition, the chosen chaotic system is shown to be flexible in accommodating the transmission of signals with variable bandwidths, which promotes the superiority and versatility of the suggested secure communication technique.  相似文献

This paper proposes an alternative robust adaptive high-gain fuzzy observer design scheme and its application to synchronization and secure communication of chaotic systems. It is assumed that their states are immeasurable and their parameters are unknown. The structure of the proposed observer is represented by Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy model and has the integrator of the estimation error. It improves the performance of high-gain observer and makes the proposed observer robust against noisy measurements, uncertainties and parameter perturbations as well. Using Lyapunov stability theory, an adaptive law is derived to estimate the unknown parameters and the stability of the proposed observer is analyzed. Some simulation result of synchronization and secure communication of chaotic systems is given to present the validity of theoretical derivations and the performance of the proposed observer as an application.  相似文献

We present a new scheme for the secured transmission of information based on master–slave synchronization of chaotic systems, using unknown-input observers. Our approach improves upon state-of-the-art schemes by being compatible with information of relatively large amplitude while improving security against intruders through an intricate encryption system. In addition, our approach is robust to channel noise. The main idea is to separate the encryption and synchronization operations by using two cascaded chaotic systems in the transmitter. Technically, the scheme is based on smooth adaptive unknown-input observers; these have the advantage to estimate the (master) states and to reconstruct the unknown inputs simultaneously. The performance of the communication system is illustrated in numerical simulation.  相似文献

In this paper, a secure communication scheme based on chaotic modulation is proposed using a reversible process and a robust controller with efficient cost and complexity to synchronize two different chaotic systems. In the controller design, a sliding mode control with an adaptive rule is used for non-linear inputs. The adaptive rule is applied to ensure the synchronization when uncertainties, non-modeled dynamics or external distortions are at work. The message signal is recovered at the receiver using a recursive process at the end. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is confirmed via the simulation results for the synchronization of the transmitted signal modulated by Chen chaotic system at the transmitter and Genesio chaotic system at the receiver, and those for the information recovery process.  相似文献

In this paper via a novel method of discretized continuous-time Kalman filter, the problem of synchronization and cryptography in fractional-order systems has been investigated in presence of noisy environment for process and output signals. The fractional-order Kalman filter equation, applicable for linear systems, and its extension called the extended Kalman filter, which can be used for nonlinear systems, are derived. The result is utilized for chaos synchronization with the aim of cryptography while the transmitter system is fractional-order, and both the transmitter and transmission channel are noisy. The fractional-order stochastic chaotic Chen system is then presented to apply the proposed method for chaotic signal cryptography. The results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, we proposed a novel three-order autonomous circuit to construct a chaotic circuit with double scroll characteristic. The design idea is to use RLC elements and a nonlinear resistor. The one of salient features of the chaotic circuit is that the circuit with two flexible breakpoints of nonlinear element, and the advantage of the flexible breakpoint is that it increased complexity of the dynamical performance. Here, if we take a large and suitable breakpoint value, then the chaotic state can masking a large input signal in the circuit. Furthermore, we proposed a secure communication hyperchaotic system based on the proposed chaotic circuits, where the chaotic communication system is constituted by a chaotic transmitter and a chaotic receiver. To achieve the synchronization between the transmitter and the receiver, we are using a suitable Lyapunov function and Lyapunov theorem to design the feedback control gain. Thus, the transmitting message masked by chaotic state in the transmitter can be guaranteed to perfectly recover in the receiver. To achieve the systems performance, some basic components containing OPA, resistor and capacitor elements are used to implement the proposed communication scheme. From the viewpoints of circuit implementation, this proposed chaotic circuit is superior to the Chua chaotic circuits. Finally, the test results containing simulation and the circuit measurement are shown to demonstrate that the proposed method is correct and feasible.  相似文献

In this paper we deal with the synchronization and parameter estimations of an uncertain Rikitake system and its application in secure communications employing chaotic parameter modulation. The strategy consists of proposing a receiver system which tends to follow asymptotically the unknown Rikitake system, refereed as transmitter system. The gains of the receiver system are adjusted continually according to a convenient high order sliding-mode adaptative controller (HOSMAC), until the measurable output errors converge to zero. By using HOSMAC, synchronization between transmitter and receiver is achieved and message signals are recovered. The convergence analysis is carried out by using Barbalat’s Lemma.  相似文献

We consider different ways for encryption and decryption of information in communication systems using chaotic signal of a time-delay system as a carrier. A method is proposed for extracting a hidden message in the case when the parameters of the chaotic transmitter are a priori unknown. For different configurations of the transmitter the procedure of information signal extraction from the transmitted signal is demonstrated using numerical data produced by nonlinear mixing of the chaotic signal of the Mackey–Glass system and frequency-modulated harmonic signal.  相似文献

This paper deals with a synchronization scheme for two fractional chaotic systems which is applied in image encryption. Based on Pecora and Carroll (PC) synchronization, fractional-order Lorenz-like system forms a master–slave configuration, and the sufficient conditions are derived to realize synchronization between these two systems via the Laplace transformation theory. An image encryption algorithm is introduced where the original image is encoded by a nonlinear function of a fractional chaotic state. Simulation results show that the original image is well masked in the cipher texts and recovered successfully through chaotic signals. Further, the cryptanalysis is conducted in detail through histogram, information entropy, key space and sensitivity to verify the high security.  相似文献

This paper proposes a synchronization design scheme based on an alternative indirect adaptive fuzzy observer and its application to secure communication of chaotic systems. It is assumed that their states are unmeasurable and their parameters are unknown. Chaotic systems and the structure of the fuzzy observer are represented by the Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy model. Using Lyapunov stability theory, an adaptive law is derived to estimate the unknown parameters and the stability of the proposed system is guaranteed. Through this process, the asymptotic synchronization of chaotic systems is achieved. The proposed observer is applied to secure communications of chaotic systems and some numerical simulation results show the validity of theoretical derivations and the performance of the proposed observer.  相似文献

Data encryption has become increasingly important for many applications including phone, internet and satellite communications. Considering the desirable properties of ergodicity and high sensitivity to initial conditions and control parameters, chaotic signals are suitable for encryption systems. Chaotic encryption systems generally have high speed with low cost, which makes them better candidates than many traditional ciphers for multimedia data encryption. In this paper, analytical and numerical methods as well as experimental implementation are used to prove partial and complete synchronized states in a ring of four autonomous oscillators in their chaotic states. Application to secure communication is discussed.  相似文献

This paper proposes the chaos control and the generalized projective synchronization methods for heavy symmetric gyroscope systems via Gaussian radial basis adaptive variable structure control. Because of the nonlinear terms of the gyroscope system, the system exhibits chaotic motions. Occasionally, the extreme sensitivity to initial states in a system operating in chaotic mode can be very destructive to the system because of unpredictable behavior. In order to improve the performance of a dynamic system or avoid the chaotic phenomena, it is necessary to control a chaotic system with a periodic motion beneficial for working with a particular condition. As chaotic signals are usually broadband and noise like, synchronized chaotic systems can be used as cipher generators for secure communication. This paper presents chaos synchronization of two identical chaotic motions of symmetric gyroscopes. In this paper, the switching surfaces are adopted to ensure the stability of the error dynamics in variable structure control. Using the neural variable structure control technique, control laws are established which guarantees the chaos control and the generalized projective synchronization of unknown gyroscope systems. In the neural variable structure control, Gaussian radial basis functions are utilized to on-line estimate the system dynamic functions. Also, the adaptation laws of the on-line estimator are derived in the sense of Lyapunov function. Thus, the unknown gyro systems can be guaranteed to be asymptotically stable. Also, the proposed method can achieve the control objectives. Numerical simulations are presented to verify the proposed control and synchronization methods. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed methods is discussed.  相似文献

This paper addresses the adaptive synchronization problem of the drive–driven type chaotic systems via a scalar transmitted signal. Given certain structural conditions of chaotic systems, an adaptive observer-based driven system is constructed to synchronize the drive system whose dynamics are subjected to the system’s disturbances and/or some unknown parameters. By appropriately selecting the observer gains, the synchronization and stability of the overall systems can be guaranteed by the Lyapunov approach. Two well-known chaotic systems: Rössler-like and Chua’s circuit are considered as illustrative examples to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. Moreover, as an application, the proposed scheme is then applied to a secure communication system whose process consists of two phases: the adaptation phase in which the chaotic transmitter’s disturbances are estimated; and the communication phase in which the information signal is transmitted and then recovered on the basis of the estimated parameters. Simulation results verify the proposed scheme’s success in the communication application.  相似文献

This work is involved with switched modified function projective synchronization of two identical Qi hyperchaotic systems using adaptive control method. Switched synchronization of chaotic systems in which a state variable of the drive system synchronize with a different state variable of the response system is a promising type of synchronization as it provides greater security in secure communication. Modified function projective synchronization with the unpredictability of scaling functions can enhance security. Recently formulated hyperchaotic Qi system in the hyperchaotic mode has an extremely broad frequency bandwidth of high magnitudes, verifying its unusual random nature and indicating its great potential for some relevant engineering applications such as secure communications. By Lyapunove stability theory, the adaptive control law and the parameter update law are derived to make the state of two chaotic systems modified function projective synchronized. Synchronization under the effect of noise is also considered. Numerical simulations are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive controllers.  相似文献

The problem of secure communication via parameter modulation in a chaotic system is considered. Information signals are used to modulate various parameters of a chaotic system. The resulting chaotic signal is later demodulated and the information signals are recovered using an adaptive demodulator. The convergence of the demodulator is established and simulation results validate the theoretical predictions.  相似文献

In recent years chaotic secure communication and chaos synchronization have received ever increasing attention. In this paper a chaotic communication method using extended Kalman filter is presented. The chaotic synchronization is implemented by EKF design in the presence of channel additive noise and processing noise. Encoding chaotic communication is used to achieve a satisfactory, typical secure communication scheme. In the proposed system, a multi-shift cipher algorithm is also used to enhance the security and the key cipher is chosen as one of the chaos states. The key estimate is employed to recover the primary data. To illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme, a numerical example based on Chen dynamical system is presented and the results are compared to two other chaotic systems.  相似文献

Synchronization of fractional order chaotic dynamical systems is receiving increasing attention owing to its interesting applications in secure communications of analog and digital signals and cryptographic systems. In this article we utilize active control technique to synchronize different fractional order chaotic dynamical systems. Further we investigate the interrelationship between the (fractional) order and synchronization in different chaotic dynamical systems. It is observed that synchronization is faster as the order tends to one.  相似文献
