A carbon paste electrode that was chemically modified with 3-(4'-amino-3'-hydroxy-biphenyl-4-yl)-acrylic acid (3,4-AA) was used as a selective electrochemical sensor for the detection of hydroxylamine. Cyclic voltammetry (CV), choronoamperometry (CHA) and square wave voltammetry (SWV) were used to investigate oxidation of hydroxylamine in aqueous solution. Under optimized concentration the electrocatalytic oxidation current peak for hydroxylamine increased linearly with concentration in the range of 0.025–10.0 μM. The detection limits for hydroxylamine was 0.012 μM. Finally, the modified electrode was applied to detection hydroxylamine in water samples.  相似文献

An electrochemical sensor based on modification of carbon paste electrode by glutathione‐capped copper nanoclusters silica nanoparticles (CuNCs/SiO2NPs) composite for determination of dopamine in the presence of ascorbic acid was presented. Transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X‐Ray analysis, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were used for characterization of the developed electrode. The electrochemical behavior of dopamine on CuNCs/SiO2NPs/carbon paste electrode was investigated by cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry. Dopamine was determined in the range of 10.0 – 900.0 μM, and the limit of detection was obtained as 0.43 μM. The electrochemical behaviors of the coexisting electroactive species, which often cause interference with the determination of dopamine, were investigated. The results show that the developed electrode does not show any interference with respect to coexisting species, even in the presence of ascorbic acid. The developed electrochemical sensor was further employed for the determination of dopamine in human blood plasma, with a good recovery.  相似文献

The present study deals with the development of an electrochemical sensor for quantitative determination of Bezafibrate (BZF) based on carbon nanofibers/polyaniline/platinum nanoparticles modified carbon paste electrode (CNF/PANI/Pt/CPE). BZF is a fibric acid derivative and is used largely in the treatment of lipid disorders. The nanocomposite was synthesized by in situ polymerization of aniline using ammonium persulphate and platinum nanoparticles were uniformly decorated on the CNF/PANI surface by reducing hexachloroplatinic acid using sodium borohydride. The electrochemical response of BZF at CNF/PANI/Pt/CPE was studied using cyclic voltammetry (CV), differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The above study resulted into significant improvement of the electrochemical signal towards the oxidation of BZF, revealing that the oxidation process is highly favorable at the surface of modified electrode. The anodic peak current Ip (μA) is found to be linearly dependent on BZF concentration in the range of 0.025 μM to 100 μM with a detection limit of 2.46 nM. The practical analytical utilities of the sensor were investigated by performing the experiments on synthetic pharmaceutical formulations, human blood serum and urine samples which offered good recovery, suggesting the high efficacy and authenticity of CNF/PANI/Pt/CPE sensor for BZF determination.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The rapid electrochemical determination of Aceclofenac (ACF) has been employed by cyclic voltammetry (CV), differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) using developed OH-functionalised multiwalled carbon nanotube carbon paste electrode (OH-MWCNT/CPE). Modified electrode was characterised by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDAX), X-ray diffraction spectroscopy (XRD), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The ACF exhibits two oxidation peaks at +0.4 V, +0.66 V and one reduction peak at +0.3 V. The active surface area of the bare carbon paste electrode (BCPE) and modified electrode have been characterised by using K3[Fe(CN)6] solution containing 0.1 M KCl. In DPV mode, variation of ACF gave the limit of detection (LOD = 3s/m) 0.246 μM over the concentration range 1.0 to 190.0 μM (R2 = 0.9994). The developed electrode has good stability, reproducibility and could be successfully validated for the detection of ACF in pharmaceutical samples and biological fluids.  相似文献

A novel carbon paste electrode modified with nanosized mesoporous MCM-41 was prepared, and used as an electrochemical sensor to study the electro oxidation of levodopa (LD), carbidopa (CD) and their mixtures. Using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), a highly selective and simultaneous determination of LD and CD has been explored at the modified electrode. The electrochemical sensor displayed a good resolving function for the overlapping voltammetric responses of LD and CD into two separate peaks with a potential difference of 370 mV. DPV peak currents of LD increased linearly with concentration over the 0.13 μM to 1250.00 μM range and exhibited a detection limit of 0.072 μM. Also, the proposed electrochemical sensor was used for the determination of LD and CD in some real samples, using the standard addition method.  相似文献

In this work, a modified carbon paste electrode consisting of Nickel dispersed in poly(ortho-aminophenol) was used for electrocatalytic oxidation of methanol in alkaline solution. A carbon paste electrode bulk modified with o-aminophenol was used for polymer preparation by cyclic voltammetry method; then, Ni(II) ions were incorporated by immersion of the modified electrode in 1 M Ni(II) ion solution at open circuit. The electrochemical characterization of this modified electrode exhibits stable redox behavior of the Ni(III)–Ni(II) couple. Electrocatalytic oxidation of methanol on the surface of modified electrode was investigated with cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry methods, and the dependence of the oxidation current and shape of cyclic voltammograms on methanol concentration and scan rate were discussed. Also, long-term stability of modified electrode for electrocatalytic oxidation of methanol was investigated.  相似文献

In the present study, the electrochemical oxidation of quercetin (QUR) was investigated using a graphite paste electrode (GPE) modified with multi-walled carbon nanotube and Lewatit FO36 nanoresin (LFONR-MWCNT/GPE). LFONR-MWCNT/GPE could effectively a sensitive anodic peak at around 0.23 V (vs. SCE) in a 0.10 M phosphate buffer solution. Modified electrode revealed that activated with multiwalled carbon nanotube and LFONR was capable of facilitating electron transfer and increasing surface area. The electrochemical oxidation of QUR was studied using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and linear sweep voltammetry (LSV). Some kinetic parameters for electrochemical oxidation of QUR including total number of electrons (n) and standard heterogeneous rate constant (ks) were also determined. The calibration graph consisted of two linear segments of 1.8–25.0 μM, and 25.0–570.0 μM with a detection limit of 0.213 μM (based on 3Sb). The applicability of the method to juice of peach, red grape, sour cherry and Gincora tablets analysis was also evaluated.  相似文献

The voltammetric behaviors of uric acid (UA) and L ‐ascorbic acid (L ‐AA) were studied at well‐aligned carbon nanotube electrode. Compared to glassy carbon, carbon nanotube electrode catalyzes oxidation of UA and L ‐AA, reducing the overpotentials by about 0.028 V and 0.416 V, respectively. Based on its differential catalytic function toward the oxidation of UA and L ‐AA, the carbon nanotube electrode resolved the overlapping voltammetric response of UA and L ‐AA into two well‐defined voltammetric peaks in applying both cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), which can be used for a selective determination of UA in the presence of L ‐AA. The peak current obtained from DPV was linearly dependent on the UA concentration in the range of 0.2 μM to 80 μM with a correlation coefficient of 0.997. The detection limit (3δ) for UA was found to be 0.1 μM. Finally, the carbon nanotube electrode was successfully demonstrated as a electrochemical sensor to the determination of UA in human urine samples by simple dilution without further pretreatment.  相似文献

An electrochemical sensor based on poly-ethionine (Poly-ET) film modified glassy carbon electrode was developed for sensitive and simultaneous sensing of dopamine (DA) and paracetamol (PA). The electropolymerization of ethionine monomer was carried out to modify the electrode. The modified electrode was characterized by using scanning electron microscopy, cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The Poly-ET/GCE exhibited excellent electrocatalysis towards the sensing of DA and PA. Poly-ET/GCE showed a linear increase of current response with increase concentration of DA and PA ranging from 0.1 μM–60 μM and 0.1 μM–180 μM, respectively. The LODs were found to be 7 nM and 18 nM (S/N=3) for DA and PA, respectively. This electrochemical sensor was successfully utilized for the detection of DA and PA in pharmaceutical samples.  相似文献

For the first time, the electrochemical synthesis of gold nanostructures was done at the surface of carbon paste electrode. This device was used as a simple and sensitive electrochemical sensor for measurement of pyridoxine (Vitamin B6, VB6). The diffusion coefficient (D) and the kinetic parameters such as electron transfer coefficient (α) and catalytic rate constant (k) for VB6 were also determined using electrochemical approaches. The cyclic voltammetry method showed VB6 oxidation reaction with irreversible characteristics was diffusion-controlled at low scan rates. Using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), the peak current was linearly dependent on VB6 concentration in the ranges of 1.9–110.8 and 110.8–257.0 μM, with detection limit of 74.0 nM, respectively. Results showed there is no interference of other vitamins in oxidation of VB6. DPV was used to quantify of VB6 in some real samples by the standard addition method. The modified electrode showed good sensitivity and stability.  相似文献

An electrode modified with ZnS and gold nanoparticles (Au‐ZnS NPs) is introduced for highly sensitive voltammetric determination of ganciclovir (GCV). Surface structure and topography of the modified electrode was studied by SEM, EDX and XRD techniques. Electrochemical oxidation of GCV was investigated by cyclic (CV) and square wave voltammetry (SWV) in Briton‐Robinson buffer solution (pH 1.5). The results showed that electrochemical oxidation of GCV at the Au‐ZnS modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) is irreversible and exhibited diffusion controlled electrode process over the pH range from 1.0 to 6.0. The oxidation potential peak and pH relationship showed that electrons and protons were transferred simultaneously over the electrochemical oxidation process. Using the proposed sensor, the linear calibration curves were obtained in the ranges of 0.04–1.50 μM and 1.5–70.0 μM with detection limit of 0.01 μM GCV by SWV technique. The modified electrode was successfully applied as a sensitive, reproducible and repeatable sensor for determination of the trace amount of GCV in human serum, urine and cymevene vials. Reasonable results were obtained from comparing the measurements of the real samples by the new sensor to high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) as a standard method.  相似文献

In this paper, we report the fabrication of an amplified sensor to determine dopamine in the presence of morphine based on nano-MgO, multiwall carbon nanotubes, and an oxadiazole derivative. The electrochemical behavior and electrocatalyic activity of the sensor toward the oxidation of dopamine were investigated. Cyclic voltammetry was used to study the redox features of the sensor, and the results have shown that dopamine overpotential oxidation at the surface of the sensor was reduced to nearly 460 mV. The diffusion coefficient was estimated by chronoamperometry. Three segmented linear dynamic ranges over the range 0.05–5175.0 and detection limit of 0.021 μM for the quantification of dopamine were obtained using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The modified nanocomposite carbon paste electrode, which showed excellent sensitivity, selectivity, repeatability, and reproducibility, was satisfactorily employed to determine dopamine and morphine in actual samples.  相似文献

An electrochemical sensor for dopamine was developed by electrodepositing poly(propylene imine) (PPI) dendrimer and gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) onto a glassy carbon electrode (GCE). Electrochemical characterisation of the sensor was carried out by cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in ferri/ferrocyanide electrolyte. The nanocomposite electrode (GCE-PPI-AuNPs) showed improved electroactive surface area and electrochemical response over bare GCE. The sensor recorded a detection limit of 0.16 μM over a concentration range of 0.1 μM to 125 μM. The sensor was applied for dopamine detection in human serum samples and in the presence of interfering substances such as ascorbic acid and epinephrine.  相似文献

In this work a carbon paste electrode modified with multiwalled carbon nanotubes/β‐cyclodextrin (MWCNTs/β‐CD) was constructed and applied to the determination of nifedipine. The electrochemical behavior of nifedipine at this electrode was investigated using cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry. Characterization of the modified electrode was conducted with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. After adsorption of nifedipine on the MWCNTs/β‐CD paste electrode at 0.0 V for 6 min, a well defined reduction peak was produced in sodium hydroxide of 0.05 M. The calibration curve was linear from 7.0×10?8 to 1.5×10?5 M. The detection limit was obtained as 2.5×10?8 M. The results demonstrated that this electrochemical sensor has excellent sensitivity and selectivity. This sensor was applied for determination of nifedipine in drug dosage and blood serum with excellent recoveries.  相似文献

An electrochemical oxidation of acetaminophen (ACOP) has been successfully performed by using glassy carbon electrode covered with 4-hydroxyquinoline-3-carboxylic acid (4HQ3CA) to reinforce electrode's feature. To characterize the modified electrode (4HQ3CA/GC), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), cyclic voltammetry (CV) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) techniques were used. The finding optimum conditions (supporting electrolyte, pH) and the electrochemical determination studies were performed with differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). It was decided that the supporting electrolyte medium suitable for ACOP determination was Britton-Robinson (BR) buffer and the effect of pH change on the oxidation peak of ACOP in this media was investigated. The effect of changing scan rate on the oxidation peak of ACOP was examined and this study showed that the oxidation process of ACOP on the 4HQ3CA/GC modified electrode surface was diffusion and adsorption controlled process. A wide concentration range from 0.0025 μM to 141 μM with a limit of detection (LOD) of 5.98×10−10 M (3 s/m) was obtained. This prepared sensor was carried out for the determination of ACOP in pharmaceutical sample.  相似文献

A carbon paste electrode (CPE) modified with Nafion, Graphene oxide and zeolite has been prepared and characterized, and the resulting Nafion/Graphene oxide/Zeolite modified carbon paste electrode (N/G/Z/MCPE) has been applied to the electrochemical detection of Moxifloxacin hydrochloride (MOXI). It exhibited a good electrocatalytic activity in phosphate buffer (optimum at pH 7.4), as pointed out by cyclic voltammetry (CV), and N/G/Z/MCPE can be exploited for MOXI detection by chronoamperometry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and differential pulse voltammetry. This latter was the most sensitive one and gave rise to a linear calibration curve in the 0.04 to 250 μM concentration range, with limits of detection and qualification estimated at 1.0 nM and 3.3 nM, respectively. Contrary to previous electrochemical sensors for MOXI (e. g., CPE modified with metal nanoparticles), this new sensor can be used for multiple successive analyses without needing to refresh its surface.  相似文献

Poly(N,N-dimethylaniline) (PDMA) was formed by successive cyclic voltammetry in monomer solution in the presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) on the surface of a carbon paste electrode. The polymerization behavior of N,N-dimethylaniline in the presence of SDS is quite different from that of N,N-dimethylaniline in the absence of SDS. The effect of varying amount of SDS on the rate of polymerization of N,N-dimethylaniline was investigated. The electrochemical behavior of the SDS-PDMA carbon paste electrode has been investigated by cyclic voltammetry in 0.5 M H2SO4 and 5 mM K4[Fe(CN)6]/0.1 M KCl solutions as the supporting electrolyte and model system, respectively. The synthesized PDMA was characterized by FT-IR and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Ni(II) ions were incorporated into the electrode by immersion of the polymeric modified electrode having amine groups in 0.1 M Ni(II) ion solution. The electro catalytic oxidations of methanol at the surface of the Ni/SDS-PDMA electrode were studied in a 0.1 M NaOH solution. Compared to bare carbon paste and PDMA-modified carbon paste electrodes; the SDS-PDMA electrode significantly enhanced the catalytic efficiency of Ni ions for methanol oxidation.  相似文献

An electrochemical sensor was developed based on gold nanoparticles incorporated in mesoporous MFI zeolite for the determination of purine bases. Au nanoparticles (AuNPs) were incorporated into the mesoporous MFI zeolite (AuNPs/m‐MFI) by post‐grafting reaction. The composite materials were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and electrochemical methods. Au nanoparticles with a size of 5‐20 nm are uniformly dispersed in the pores of mesoporous MFI zeolite. And the morphology of MFI zeolite can be perfectly kept after pore expansion and Au nanoparticles incorporation. The electrocatalytic oxidation of purine bases (guanine and adenine in DNA) is investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The surface‐confined Au nanoparticles provide the good catalytic activity for oxidation of purine bases. The simultaneous detection of guanine and adenine can be achieved at AuNPs/m‐MFI composites modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The electrochemical sensor based on AuNPs/m‐MFI exhibits wide linear range of 0.5–500 μM and 0.8–500 μM with detection limit of 0.25 and 0.29 μM for guanine and adenine, respectively. Moreover, the electrochemical sensor is applied to evaluation of guanine and adenine in herring sperm DNA samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献
