The lipid compositions of the coats and kernels of the seeds ofNepeta pannonica andLavandula vera have been studied. It has been established that the lipids of the seed coats of the two species of plants differ substantially in their composition. The lipids of the kernels ofNepeta have been found to contain free fatty acids with chain lengths of from C20 to C35. Ursolic acid and its acetate have been isolated from extracts of the seed coats ofLavandula, and dimethyladipic acid from the seed oil of this species. An immunosorbent has been obtained by conjugating mcABs 2C8.C7 to membrane proteins from cotton seedlings with BrCN-Sepharose 4B. As a result of the affinity chromatography of the total lectin-like proteins of the cotton plant on this sorbent, two fractions of polypeptides have been isolated, and these have been subjected to electrophoretic analysis. The albumins of maize grain isolated by precipitation from a total salt extract have been investigated by IR, UV, derivative, and fluorescence spectroscopy. FromArundo donax L. we have isolated the new dimeric alkaloid arundinine, with the composition C23H28N4O, the structure of which has been established on the basis of its physicochemical characteristics and1H and13C NMR spectroscopy, including 1D and 2D experiments in both homo- and heteronuclear regimes. A sesquiterpene lactone of the germacrane type, salonitenolide, has been isolated for the first time from the epigeal part ofCentaurea pseudomaculosa Dobrocz (spotted centaurea) and has been identified. The structures of the germacranolides and hanphyllin have been determined by the method of x-ray structural analysis: salonitenolide is 8-hydroxy-6β,8β(H)7α(H)-germacra-1(10),4,11(13)-trien-6,12-olide and hanphyllin is 3-hydroxy-3α,7α(H),6β(H)-germacra-1(10),4,11(13)-trien-6,12-olide. It has been established that the ten-membered rings of salonitenolide and hanphyllin are of the chair-chair type,1D14,15D5. On the basis of the results of CD spectroscopy, the chiral centers in the hanphyllin molecule have been assigned the 3S, 6R, and 7S configurations. Dimeric stilbenes have been isolated from the wood of Amur maackia for the first time. Two of them have been identified as the known scirpusins A and B. The structure of a new dimeric stilbene with a dioxane linkage, which has been called maackinin, has been established. Four fractions of soluble protein have been isolated by the method of successive extraction from the needles ofPinus sylvestris, and their quantitative ratios have been established. The quantitative amino acid compositions of the fractions isolated and of the unextracted protein, which amounts to about 55% of the total amount of protein in the needles, have been determined. The electromagnetic non-bonded interactions of BH2NBH2 molecule inside the B15N15 ring has been investigated with B3LYP method using EPR-II and EPR-III basis sets. Optimized structures, relative stability, and hyperfine spectroscopic parameters, such as total atomic charges, spin densities, electrical potential, and isotropic Fermi coupling constants of radical, cationic, and anionic forms of BH2NBH2 in different loops and bonds have been calculated. The spectral properties have been contributed to explain the characteristics of hyperfine electronic structure. The calculation for the B15N15–BH2NBH2 system and then for adenine–thymine base pairs coupled with BH2NBH2 molecule inside the B15N15 ring (A–BNB–T) have been done and three quantized rotational frequencies for transitions among cationic, radical, and anionic have been calculated, too. All observed frequencies appeared in the IR rotational region. So, this system can be used for the measurement of rotational spectra related to electrical voltage differences existing in macromolecules such as proteins and DNA and membrane. Extensive calculations have been carried out on the radical, anionic, and cationic forms of BH2NBH2 to obtain data and it has been observed that the radial coordinate of the dipole moment vector (r) as well as the voltage differences (ΔV) and relative energies (ΔE) exhibited Gaussian distribution. We have obtained a relationship between dipole moments and the voltage differences and energies of system.  相似文献

An efficient method for the synthesis of trifluoromethyl derivatives of endohedral gadolinium-containing metallofullerenes was proposed. High-purity (98–99%) trifluoromethyl derivatives Gd@C82(CF3)5 (two isomers) and Gd2@C80(CF3) have been synthesized for the first time. They were isolated and characterized by HPLC, MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry, and UV-Vis spectroscopy. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Coprinus xanthothrix was found to have nematicidal activity. Xanthothone was isolated from culture extract guided by activity assay, which was identified as a novel natural product. Two other compounds were also isolated. These compounds showed nematicidal activity, with LD50 value of 125–250 ppm both against Panagrellus redivivus and Meloidogyne incognita. A sorbent highly specific forVerticillium proteins has been obtained from BrCN-Sepharose and rabbit immunoglobulins. In recent years perfluorinated alkylated substances (PFAS) have appeared as a new class of global pollutant. Besides being an industrially important group of compounds, PFAS are regarded as highly toxic and extraordinarily persistent chemicals that pervasively contaminate human blood and wildlife throughout the world. They are therefore regarded as PBT (persistent, bioaccumulative, and toxic) chemicals. Two comprehensive methods have been developed for determination of eleven of the most environmentally relevant PFAS (seven perfluoroalkylcarboxylates, two perfluoroalkylsulfonates, and two perfluoroctanesulfonamides) in aqueous samples. The compounds were isolated by liquid–liquid extraction (LLE) and solid-phase extraction (SPE), and identification and quantification of the target analytes were achieved by liquid chromatography–electrospray ionization–tandem mass spectrometry (LC–ESI–MS–MS). With LLE detection limits ranged from 0.26 to 0.62 ng L−1 for enrichment of 900-mL water samples; recovery of PFAS with a carbon chain longer than C7 was excellent (80–93%). With SPE, carboxylates with carbon chains <C10 could be extracted efficiently (70–98%) under acidic conditions, and PFOS and PFOSA could be extracted efficiently (81% and 96%, respectively) under basic conditions, resulting in MDLs between 0.25 and 0.64 ng L−1. The LLE method was applied successfully to Austrian wastewater effluent samples.  相似文献
