Migration of planetary systems caused by the action of dissipative forces may lead the planets to be trapped in a resonance. In this work we study the conditions and the dynamics of such resonant trapping. Particularly, we are interested in finding out whether resonant capture ends up in a long-term stable planetary configuration. For two planet systems we associate the evolution of migration with the existence of families of periodic orbits in the phase space of the three-body problem. The family of circular periodic orbits exhibits a gap at the 2:1 resonance and an instability and bifurcation at the 3:1 resonance. These properties explain the high probability of 2:1 and 3:1 resonant capture at low eccentricities. Furthermore, we study the resonant capture of three-planet systems. We show that such a resonant capture is possible and can occur under particular conditions. Then, from the migration path of the system, stable three-planet configurations, either symmetric or asymmetric, can be determined.  相似文献

The localized enhanced near field on nanostructures has been attracting much attention for a template for size-selective optical trapping (tweezers) beyond the diffraction limit. The near-field optical trapping has mainly been studied using metallic substrates such as Au nanodot pairs, periodic Al nanoslits, nanoapertures on an Au film, etc. In this paper, we newly propose a Mie-scattered-near-field optical trapping scheme for size-selective photocatalytic application using pairs of poly-rutile TiO2 nanospheres. The optical intensity distribution in a 3D-nanogap space between the nanospheres was simulated by a 3D FDTD method. The simulation system consists of the two TiO2 nanospheres placed on a silica substrate in water. The 400-nm excitation laser is used for both the near-field trapping and the photocatalyst excitation. The optical trapping forces were calculated based on the near-field optical intensity distribution. The trapping stiffness for 20-nm polystyrene sphere at a gap distance of 20 nm was 6.4 pN/nm/W. The optical force vector shows that the object like virus can be trapped with sufficient forces into the nanogap space and then is driven into the direct surface of the TiO2 sphere. This result suggests that this system works as a photocatalytic trapping for killing virus, protein, etc.  相似文献

The electrical and photoelectrical properties of plasma polymerized acrylonitrile (PAN) are reported. The polymer films were studied in silver-PAN-silver systems. Electrical conductivity at room temperature was of the order of 10−11 ohm−1 cm−1. The space charge limited current (SCLC) studies at room temperature and thermally stimulated current studies (TSC) over a temperature range of 290–500°K led to a clear understanding of carrier concentration, carrier mobility, trapping levels and activation energies.  使用聚焦平顶光束和平顶涡旋光束,以金为例,对金属瑞利粒子辐射力和俘获稳定性进行了分析,着重研究了拓扑电荷和光束阶数对辐射力的影响。结果表明,随着拓扑电荷和光束阶数的增大,最大光强和辐射力随之减小;平顶光束可以俘获金瑞利粒子,俘获微粒的牢固性和俘获范围随着光束阶数增大而减小,而平顶涡旋光束的梯度力不能作为回复力,因此不能俘获。最后,还讨论了不同光强分布下,俘获金属瑞利粒子时复介电常数需满足的必要条件。  相似文献

An analytical solution to the problem of the ion velocity distribution evolution after turn-on of a periodic electric field is derived. The solution is constructed for the case of resonance charge exchange at a constant collision frequency (charge exchange model). The specific features of the transient process at the early stage of evolution are revealed. The phase shift between the applied field and the ion current at the periodic stage of the process is analyzed. The distribution function exhibits abrupt steps propagating in the velocity space. A method is proposed to study the ion-atom interaction cross section using a periodic electric field. The method is based on analysis of the current toward the electrode with a retarding potential.  相似文献

Organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) have received significant attention recently because of the potential application in low-cost flexible electronics. The physics behind their operation are relatively complex and require careful consideration particularly with respect to the effect of charge trapping at the insulator–semiconductor interface and field effect in a region with a thickness of a few molecular layers. Recent studies have shown that the so-called “onset” voltage (V onset) in the rubrene OFET can vary significantly depending on past illumination and bias history. It is therefore important to define the role of the interface trap states in more concrete terms and show how they may affect device performance. In this work, we propose an equivalent-circuit model for the OFET to include mechanism(s) linked to trapping. This includes the existence of a light-sensitive “resistor” controlling charge flow into/out of the interface trap states. Based on the proposed equivalent-circuit model, an analytical expression of V onset is derived showing how it can depend on gate bias and illumination. Using data from the literature, we analyzed the IV characteristics of a rubrene OFET after pulsed illumination and a tetracene OFET during steady-state illumination.  相似文献

高压直流塑料交联聚乙烯电缆的研发难点是消除其中的空间电荷效应. 目前, 国内外学者普遍通过添加纳米粒子在聚乙烯体内形成深陷阱捕获电荷的机理来抑制电荷积聚, 但此抑制机理违背了电场的基本理论. 以能带理论全面阐述聚合物介质中空间电荷的形成和抑制机理, 从一级陷阱模型出发, 应用电荷入陷和脱陷动力方程, 推导了聚合物介质中空间电荷的形成过程. 在聚合物介质中引入深陷阱后, 介质Fermi能级位移, 电极与介质之间界面接触由Ohm接触转变为阻塞接触. 考虑到无定形相中大量的陷阱密度, 电荷耗尽区宽度小于100 Å, 电极与介质之间的界面对电子变得透明, 形成中性接触, 在电压作用下, 这种聚乙烯介质中不再可能形成空间电荷. 最后, 在纯聚乙烯和纳米改性后含有深陷阱的聚乙烯两种试样上, 分别测量了电导与电场强度的关系和空间电荷分布曲线, 实验结果符合理论推导. 关键词: 直流绝缘 能带理论 空间电荷 抑制机理  相似文献

This paper studies parametric resonance of coupled micromechanical oscillators under periodically varying nonlinear coupling forces. Different from most of previous related works in which the periodically varying coupling forces between adjacent oscillators are linearized, our work focuses on new physical phenomena caused by the periodically varying nonlinear coupling. Harmonic balance method (HBM) combined with Newton iteration method is employed to find steady-state periodic solutions. Similar to linearly coupled oscillators studied previously, the present model predicts superharmonic parametric resonance and the lower-order subharmonic parametric resonance. On the other hand, the present analysis shows that periodically varying nonlinear coupling considered in the present model does lead to the appearance of high-order subharmonic parametric resonance when the external excitation frequency is a multiple or nearly a multiple (≥3) of one of the natural frequencies of the oscillator system. This remarkable new phenomenon does not appear in the linearly coupled micromechanical oscillators studied previously, and makes the range of exciting resonance frequencies expanded to infinity. In addition, the effect of a linear damping on parametric resonance is studied in detail, and the conditions for the occurrence of the high-order subharmonics with a linear damping are discussed.  相似文献

Depolarization behaviour of vacuum deposited polyvinyl fluoride (PVF) films has been studied as a function of nature of the electrode materials used during polarization such as copper, silver, aluminium and indium using the thermally stimulated discharge current (TSD) technique. TSD spectra of these films show a single relaxation peak centered around 430 ± 1 K with activation energies of ∼ 0.65 eV. The peak current and the charge associated with the relaxation peak depend strongly on the electrode material used. This has been attributed to the electrode-polymer interface barrier controlling the injection of the charge carriers into PVF films that results into space charge effects by subsequent trapping of the injected charge carriers at macroscopic distances. Evidence is presented to indicate the presence of linear space charge polarization in single crystals of KCl and NaCl in the temperature range between liquid nitrogen temperature and 350 K. Polarization phenomena, both dipolar and space charge, were studied by means of TSPC, ITC and by the testing of Ohm's law and the Superposition principle. The results are interpreted in terms of the formation of a linear space charge, possibly caused by the trapping of ionic charge carriers within the bulk of the material.  相似文献

Analytical propagation expression of a radial Airy array beam in coherent and incoherent combination passing through paraxial ABCD system is derived, and used to investigate the effect of combination scheme, array orientation and initial phase of Airy beamlet on propagation dynamics of the resulting beam in free space, where optical spot array and vortex array with different shapes are also found, respectively. And then taking four-beamlet Airy array beam in same array orientation as an example, square optical spot array obtained in focal field can be used for simultaneous trapping multiple Rayleigh particles with relative refractive index larger than 1. The transverse gradient forces serving as restore forces tend to push particles at different initial positions to their individual optical spot center. The analysis of trapping stability indicates that larger input peak intensity of Airy beamlet and smaller particle size are benefit to trapping particle owing to many deeper potential wells. Vortex array produced by coherent combined Airy array beam in this paper is expected to be useful for simultaneous trapping microparticles with relative refractive index smaller than 1.  相似文献

It has been reported that traveling waves propagate periodically and stably in sub-excitable systems driven by noise [Phys. Rev. Lett. 88, 138301 (2002)]. As a further investigation, here we observe different types of traveling waves under different noises and periodic forces, using a simplified Oregonator model. Depending on different noises and periodic forces, we have observed different types of wave propagation (or their disappearance). Moreover, reversal phenomena are observed in this system based on the numerical experiments in the one-dimensional space. We explain this as an effect of periodic forces. Thus, we give qualitative explanations for how stable reversal phenomena appear, which seem to arise from the mixing function of the periodic force and the noise. The output period and three velocities (normal, positive and negative) of the travelling waves are defined and their relationship with the periodic forces, along with the types of waves, are also studied in sub-excitable system under a fixed noise intensity. We study the Lyapunov stability of periodic motion of an atom in the vicinity of an infinite straight wire with an oscillating uniform charge, which serves as a mechanism for trapping cold neutral atoms. It is proved by King and Leséniewski that the system has classical periodic motion for a certain range of parameters. In this Letter, we will prove, using the Birkhoff Normal Forms and Morse Twist Theorem, that such a periodic state is of twist type. As a result, besides the stability of the periodic state in the sense of Lyapunov, the system has infinitely many interesting bound states such as subharmonics and quasi-periodic states.  相似文献

采用电声脉冲测量技术研究了直流电场下低密度聚乙烯材料的电荷入陷和脱陷特征. 发现在不同电场周期下样品的电荷衰减呈现不同的特征, 为此提出了一个简单的基于两陷阱水平的入陷和脱陷模型, 并计算了相应的参数, 如陷阱能级和密度. 确定了不含任何添加剂的低密度聚乙烯样品中存在的两种水平的陷阱能级分别为: 较浅陷阱能级0.77–0.81 eV 对应的浅陷阱电荷密度为(1.168–1.553)× 1019 m-3; 较深陷阱能级0.96–1.01 eV 对应的深陷阱电荷密度为(1.194–4.615)× 1018 m-3. 最后初步验证了材料的深陷阱能级和对应的深陷阱电荷密度随老化而增加, 可考虑将模型中的两能级陷阱参数作为老化诊断特征参量. 关键词: 聚合物 空间电荷 陷阱 老化  相似文献

Macroscopic charge quantization is analyzed in the case in which thermal activation across trapping barriers dominates over tunneling and the barrier heights are comparable to the charging and thermal energies. Barrier suppression, the image force due to the finite electron charge, and the contribution of unstable charge states are considered. Based on the Collins diffraction integral formula, an analytical expression of a general four-petal Gaussian vortex beam passing through a paraxial ABCD optical system is derived by means of the mathematical technique. As a numerical example, the normalized intensity distribution of a four-petal Gaussian vortex beam propagating in free space is graphically demonstrated. The influences of beam order and topological charge on the normalized intensity distribution are discussed in detail. Large signal photovoltage pulses, measured on real surfaces of high-resistivity p-type silicon as a function of excitation intensity and induced charge, show characteristic features, especially smooth minima in the negative pulses. It is shown how the results can be used for a determination of surface potentials (band bendings) and surface- or interface-state distributions. Comparisons between theoretically and experimentally determined photovoltages show that the exchange of charge carriers between surface states and space charge layer during electron-hole nonequilibrium was not negligible and has to be taken into account for an accurate determination of surface potentials. The influence of such trapping processes is analysed graphically and analytically for continuously distributed surface states and the modifications due to trapping are determined. It is shown that the bands become asymptotically flat for the limit of large excitation even when strong trapping in a system of continuously distributed surface states with arbitrarily large concentrations prevails.  相似文献

A hadron and string cascade model, JPCIAE, together with the corresponding Monte Carlo event generator, has been employed in this paper to investigate further the charge fluctuations in Au+Au collisions at Snn = 130 GeV. The default JPCIAE calculations are in good agreement with PHENIX and STAR data. We found that the thermal predictions for the π gas, the resonance π gas and quark matter deviate, respectively, from the corresponding dynamical simulations from the JPCIAE model. The discrepancies were also found between the π charge fluctuations and the charge fluctuations of all species of hadrons. However the charge fluctuations for "π from ρ and ω decay" and for all the hadrons from resonance decay are close to each other, indicating the correlation between positively and negatively charged hadrons is not sensitive to the species of hadrons. This work shows further that it is questionable to use the charge fluctuations as a signature of QGP.  相似文献
