讨论热传导方程求解系数的一个反问题.把问题归结为一个非线性不适定的算子方程后,考虑该方程的Newton型迭代方法.对线性化后的Newton方程用隐式迭代法求解,关键的一步是引入了一种新的更合理的确定(内)迭代步数的后验准则.对新方法及对照的Tikhonov方法和Bakushiskii方法进行了数值实验,结果显示了新方法具有明显的优越性.  相似文献

In this paper, a new variational formulation for a reaction-diffusion problem in broken Sobolev space is proposed. And the new formulation in the broken Sobolev space will be proved that it is well-posed and equivalent to the standard Galerkin variational formulation. The method will be helpful to easily solve the original partial differential equation numerically. In this paper, the authors investigate the optimal conversion rate at which land use is irreversibly converted from biodiversity conservation to agricultural production. This problem is formulated as a stochastic control model, then transformed into a HJB equation involving free boundary. Since the state equation has singularity, it is difficult to directly derive the boundary value condition for the HJB equation. They provide a new method to overcome the difficulty via constructing another auxiliary stochastic control problem,and impose a proper boundary value condition. Moreover, they establish the existence and uniqueness of the viscosity solution of the HJB equation. Finally, they propose a stable numerical method for the HJB equation involving free boundary, and show some numerical results.  相似文献

In this work a nonlinear eigenvalue problem for a nonlinear autonomous ordinary differential equation of the second order is considered. This problem describes the process of propagation of transverse-electric electromagnetic waves along a plane dielectric waveguide with nonlinear permittivity. We demonstrate, as far as we know, a new method that allows one to derive an equation w.r.t. spectral parameter (the dispersion equation) which contains all necessary information about the eigenvalues. The method is based on a simple idea that the distance between zeros of a periodic solution to the differential equation is the same for the adjacent zeros. This method has no connections with the perturbation theory or the notion of a bifurcation point. Theorem of equivalence between the eigenvalue problem and the dispersion equation is proved. Periodicity of the eigenfunctions is proved, a formula for the period is found, and zeros of the eigenfunctions are determined. The formula for the distance between adjacent zeros of any eigenfunction is given. Also theorems of existence and localization of the eigenvalues are proved.  相似文献

使用边界积分方程方法,研究了三维无限弹性体中受非对称载荷作用的外部圆形裂纹问题。通过使用Fourier级数和超几何函数,将问题的二维边界奇异积分方程简化为Abel型方程,获得了一般非对称载荷作用的外部圆形裂纹问题的应力强度因子精确解,比用Hankel变换法得到的结果更为一般。结果表明:边界积分方程法在解析分析方面还有很大的潜力。  相似文献

A new approach to construct a new 4 × 4 matrix spectral problem from a normal 2 × 2 matrix spectral problem is presented. AKNS spectral problem is discussed as an example. The isospectral evolution equation of the new 4 × 4 matrix spectral problem is nothing but the famous AKNS equation hierarchy. With the aid of the binary nonlinoearization method, the authors get new integrable decompositions of the AKNS equation.In this process, the r-matrix is used to get the result.  相似文献

A new transform method for solving initial-boundary value problems for linear and integrable nonlinear PDEs in two independent variables has been recently introduced in [1]. For linear PDEs this method involves: (a) formulating the given PDE as the compatibility condition of two linear equations which, by analogy with the nonlinear theory, we call a Lax pair; (b) formulating a classical mathematical problem, the so-called Riemann-Hilbert problem, by performing a simultaneous spectral analysis of both equations defining the Lax pair; (c) deriving certain global relations satisfied by the boundary values of the solution of the given PDE. Here this method is used to solve certain problems for the heat equation, the linearized Korteweg-deVries equation and the Laplace equation. Some of these problems illustrate that the new method can be effectively used for problems with complicated boundary conditions such as changing type as well as nonseparable boundary conditions. It is shown that for simple boundary conditions the global relations (c) can be analyzed using only algebraic manipulations, while for complicated boundary conditions, one needs to solve an additional Riemann-Hilbert problem. The relationship of this problem with the classical Wiener-Hopf technique is pointed out. The extension of the above results to integrable nonlinear equations is also discussed. In particular, the Korteweg-deVries equation in the quarter plane is linearized.  相似文献

In this paper, we develop a new, simple, and accurate scheme to obtain approximate solution for nonlinear differential equation in the sense of Caputo‐Fabrizio operator. To derive this new predictor‐corrector scheme, which suits on Caputo‐Fabrizio operator, firstly, we obtain the corresponding initial value problem for the differential equation in the Caputo‐Fabrizio sense. Hence, by fractional Euler method and fractional trapeziodal rule, we obtain the predictor formula as well as corrector formula. Error analysis for this new method is derived. To test the validity and simplicity of this method, some illustrative examples for nonlinear differential equations are solved.  相似文献

The main purpose of this study is to develop and analyze a new high-order operational Tau method based on the Chebyshev polynomials as basis functions for obtaining the numerical solution of Bagley-Torvik equation which has a important role in the fractional calculus. It is shown that some derivatives of the solutions of these equations have a singularity at origin. To overcome this drawback we first change the original equation into a new equation with a better regularity properties by applying a regularization process and thereby the operational Chebyshev Tau method can be applied conveniently. Our proposed method has two main advantages. First, the algebraic form of the Tau discretization of the problem has an upper triangular structure which can be solved by forward substitution method. Second, Tau approximation of the problem converges to the exact ones with a highly rate of convergence under a more general regularity assumptions on the input data in spite of the singularity behavior of the exact solution. Numerical results are presented which confirm the theoretical results obtained and efficiency of the proposed method.  相似文献

The Cauchy problem for a singularly perturbed Volterra integro-differential equation is examined. Two cases are considered: (1) the reduced equation has an isolated solution, and (2) the reduced equation has intersecting solutions (the so-called case of exchange of stabilities). An asymptotic expansion of the solution to the Cauchy problem is constructed by the method of boundary functions. The results are justified by using the asymptotic method of differential inequalities, which is extended to a new class of problems.  相似文献

Perturbation methods depend on a small parameter which is difficult to be found for real-life nonlinear problems. To overcome this shortcoming, two new but powerful analytical methods are introduced to solve nonlinear heat transfer problems in this article; one is He's variational iteration method (VIM) and the other is the homotopy-perturbation method (HPM). The VIM is to construct correction functionals using general Lagrange multipliers identified optimally via the variational theory, and the initial approximations can be freely chosen with unknown constants. The HPM deforms a difficult problem into a simple problem which can be easily solved. Nonlinear convective–radiative cooling equation, nonlinear heat equation (porous media equation) and nonlinear heat equation with cubic nonlinearity are used as examples to illustrate the simple solution procedures. Comparison of the applied methods with exact solutions reveals that both methods are tremendously effective.  相似文献

The goal of this paper is to present a numerical method for the Smoluchowski equation,a drift-diffusion equation on the sphere,arising in the modelling of particle dynamics.The numerical method uses radial basis functions(RBF).This is a relatively new approach,which has recently mainly been used for geophysical applications.For a simplified model problem we compare the RBF approach with a spectral method,i.e.the standard approach used in related physical applications.This comparison as well as our other accuracy studies show that RBF methods are an attractive alternative for these kind of models.  相似文献
