Several approaches are considered to determine the temperature effect on the absorption coefficient within a correlated k-distribution method. Taking in the 610- region for example, the absorption coefficients and atmospheric cooling rates calculated using these approaches are compared with line-by-line integration. It is emphasized in this paper by numerical calculation that the effect of pressure on absorption coefficient is related to temperature and vise versa; the larger the pressure, the larger the effect of temperature on absorption coefficient. Results show that the temperature effect must be considered in radiative calculations although its effect on the absorption coefficient is much smaller than that of pressure.  相似文献

The effect of temperature on sound velocity, absorption, and reflection coefficient in the seabed sediment layer is investigated. Experimental measurements of sound speed, absorption, and the reflection coefficient in a sandy sediment layer have been carried out at several temperatures. An absorption reduction of 75 dB/m and a velocity increase of 65 m/s have been measured at a frequency of 1 MHz when the temperature increases from 5 to 25 degrees C. Because of the absorption temperature dependence the amplitude of the reflected wave from the back surface of the sub-bottom layer after going back and forth across the layer increases with the temperature.  相似文献

On the basis of molecular-kinetic theory, frequency-dependent expressions are derived for the velocity and absorption coefficient of sound in a magnetic fluid with allowance for the contribution of structural relaxation in the presence of an external inhomogeneous magnetic field. The asymptotic behavior of the expressions is investigated for both low-and high-frequency limits. A numerical study is carried out by taking as an example a magnetic fluid consisting of kerosene with magnetic particles of Fe3O4 suspended in it. The results of the numerical study show that the calculated frequency dependences of the velocity and absorption coefficient of sound in a magnetic fluid are in good agreement with the static experimental data.  相似文献

磁性液体是一种特殊的高分子稳定胶体,在磁场中会产生光的双折射效应,对磁性液体在胶体学科方面展开研究,发现磁性液体在磁场中的弱絮凝行为表现异常明显,显示出特有的方向性,且又不至胶体系统失稳,证明了磁性液体中的磁性微粒在磁场中聚集成方向性的链状而又不失稳的临界状态存在。从而揭示了方向性弱絮凝是磁性液体在磁场中产生光的双折射效应的机理。  相似文献

Structure of magnetorheological (MR) fluids depends on the strength of the magnetic field applied and on the mode of its application. The ultrasonic wave propagation velocity changes under the effect of an external magnetic field as a result of formation of clusters arranged along the direction of the field in the MR fluids. Therefore, we propose a qualitative analysis of these clustering structures by measuring properties of ultrasonic propagation. Since the MR fluids are opaque, the non-contact inspection using this ultrasonic technique can be very useful. In this study, we measured ultrasonic propagation velocity in MR fluid influenced by an external magnetic field for different swept rate precisely. With increasing magnetic field intensity, the changes of the ultrasonic wave velocity are more pronounced. Sedimentation effect takes place in certain time for different swept rate due to magnetic particle size and it follows linear relationship in log scale. Significant differences of the ultrasonic wave velocity are established between the case when the field is swept at a constant rate and the case when it is stepped up.  相似文献

Magnetic field induced exciton binding energy is investigated in a strained InAs/GaAs quantum wire within the framework of single band effective mass approximation. The strain contribution to the potential is determined through deformation potentials. The interband emission energy of strained InAs/GaAs wire is investigated in the influence of magnetic field with the various structural parameters. Magnetic field induced photoionization cross section of the exciton is studied. The total optical absorption and the refractive index changes as a function of normalized photon energy between the ground and the first excited state in the presence of magnetic field are analyzed. The optical absorption coefficients and the refractive index changes strongly depend on the incident optical intensity and the magnetic field. The occurred blueshift of the resonant peak due to the magnetic field will give the information about the variation of two energy levels in the quantum well wire. The optical absorption coefficients and the refractive index changes are strongly dependent on the incident optical intensity and the magnetic field.  相似文献

In this study, the alteration of the potential profile, the energy levels, the dipole matrix element and the resonant peaks of the linear optical absorption (OA) and optical rectification (OR) coefficients in GaAs/GaAlAs triple quantum well (TQW) are calculated as dependent on the applied electric field and the magnetic field. The results show that the shape of confined potential profile, the energy levels and the dipole moment matrix elements are changed as dependent on the external fields. Also, the resonant peaks of the OA and OR coefficients depend on the applied external field effects. Therefore, I hope that these results will provide important improvement in semiconductor device applications, for suitable choice of electric and magnetic field values. It may particularly be useful in technological applications that the structure of TQW changes with the strength and direction of the external electric field.  相似文献

分析了采用2/2型压电复合材料制作的一种水平面内偏振的横波直探头的辐射声场特性,推导了两种表面力源辐射声场的严格解析解,通过数值计算给出了相应声场分布和指向性图,得到了横波垂直辐射指向性,并与实验结果进行了对比。实验所得声场指向性与理论计算结果符合较好,为该换能器的工程应用提供了理论依据。  相似文献

The methods of classical electrodynamics are used to consider the problem of the radiation from an electron moving in the field of a monochromatic circularly polarized wave and a uniform magnetic field directed parallel to the direction of propagation of the wave. Complex measurements of the following elastic-magnetic parameters of a magnetic fluid suspended by magnetic levitation within a horizontal tube in a strong magnetic field were performed: the oscillation frequency and decay coefficient; the static, ponderomotive, and dynamic elasticity coefficients; the fluid displacement under hydrostatic pressure; magnetization curve; and the magnetic field strength and gradient. Calculations based on a model of ponderomotive elasticity with correction for the resistance of a viscous fluid in motion and on the fluid column displacement for two magnetic fluid samples agree well with the experimental magnetization curve. The discussed technique holds promise for research into magnetophoresis and nanoparticle aggregation in magnetic colloids.  相似文献

The influence of hydrostatic pressure, magnetic field and temperature on resistivity behaviour of bulk and film samples La0.9Mn1.1O3 and La0.56Ca0.24Mn1.2O3 at action of magnetic field and temperature has been analysed. It is established that the maximum of magnetoresistive and the revealed baroresistive, magnetobaroresistive effects coincide at the same temperature Tpp. This temperature is equal to the “metal-semiconductor” phase transition temperature Tms. “Cooling” and “heating” effects of pressure and magnetic field have been revealed. A mutual correspondence of TPH (6.2 K, 1 kbar, 2.7 kOe) influence on polycrystalline sample La0.9Mn1.1O3 resistivity has been determined. The linear change of Tms(P) and Tms(H) in La0.9Mn1.1O3, La0.56Ca0.24Mn1.2O3 resistivity have been found. An importance of the regularities of elastic-deforming correspondence of THP influence on magnetic, resistivity properties, phase transitions and effects was elucidated and explained. An alternating influence of THP and its role in resistivity has been pointed. A correlation between structural, elastic and resistive properties is specified.  相似文献

Some of organic charge transfer crystals can have triplet excitons with very low excitation energy. A class of such crystals which can be treated in dimer approximation is discussed here. The effects of lattice distortion, the temperature and magnetic field are discussed. The space-time dynamics of electron domains in a semiconductor superlattice is studied in a tilted magnetic field with regard to the effect of temperature. It is shown that an increase in temperature substantially changes the space-time dynamics of the system. This leads to a decrease in the frequency and amplitude of oscillations of a current flowing through the semiconductor superlattice. The quenching of oscillations is observed, which is attributed to the change in the drift velocity as a function of electric-field strength under the variation of temperature.  相似文献

研究了超声对硫酸钙结晶过程的影响。实验表明,与对比样相比,超声可以明显缩短成核时间,改变结晶量,影响结晶在不同方向的成长速度,使结晶的形状比例(长/宽)减小。粒度分布的定量测定和计算显示,超声使硫酸钙结晶粒度分布范围由200μm缩小到100μm,体积平均直径从69.9μm降到26.59μm;硫酸钙的成核速率提高2.74倍,但结晶成长速率减少到对比样的40.9%。两者番加的结果体现为结晶过程总速率的增加。  相似文献
