A partial inverse problem for an integro‐differential Sturm‐Liouville operator on a star‐shaped graph is studied. We suppose that the convolution kernels are known on all the edges of the graph except one and recover the kernel on the remaining edge from a part of the spectrum. We prove the uniqueness theorem for this problem and develop a constructive algorithm for its solution, based on the reduction of the inverse problem on the graph to the inverse problem on the interval by using the Riesz basis property of the special system of functions.  相似文献

In this paper, the Authors study the small oscillations of an inviscid liquid under zero gravity in a container of revolution with elastic bottom, considered as a membrane or a plate, and anchored edge. They obtain the equations of the displacements of the free surface and the bottom and they reduce these equations to a functional equation in a suitable Hilbert space. By using the methods of Functional Analysis the Authors prove the existence of the small oscillations. Research partially supported by GNFM, MURST (Italy).  相似文献

An iterative regularization algorithm is proposed for solving a special optimization problem, the so-called 2-constrained operator pseudoinversion. The convergence of the algorithm is examined in the case of perturbed input data. An error estimate is derived, and an a priori choice of the regularization parameters is described. The algorithm is applied to an optimal control problem with minimal costs.  相似文献

In this paper we present error estimates for the finite element approximation of linear elastic equations in an unbounded domain. The finite element approximation is formulated on a bounded computational domain using a nonlocal approximate artificial boundary condition or a local one. In fact there are a family of nonlocal approximate boundary conditions with increasing accuracy (and computational cost) and a family of local ones for a given artificial boundary. Our error estimates show how the errors of the finite element approximations depend on the mesh size, the terms used in the approximate artificial boundary condition, and the location of the artificial boundary. A numerical example for Navier equations outside a circle in the plane is presented. Numerical results demonstrate the performance of our error estimates.

Let Ω be a sufficiently regular bounded connected open subset of such that 0 ∈ Ω and that is connected. Then we take q11, … ,qnn ∈ ]0,+ ∞ [and . If ε is a small positive number, then we define the periodically perforated domain , where {e1, … ,en} is the canonical basis of . For ε small and positive, we introduce a particular Dirichlet problem for the Laplace operator in the set . Namely, we consider a Dirichlet condition on the boundary of the set p + εΩ, together with a periodicity condition. Then we show real analytic continuation properties of the solution and of the corresponding energy integral as functionals of the pair of ε and of the Dirichlet datum on p + ε?Ω, around a degenerate pair with ε = 0. A brief review of asymptotic methods to deal with frictionless unilateral contact problems for an elastic layer of finite thickness is presented. Under the assumption that the contact radius is small with respect to the layer thickness, an effective asymptotic method is suggested for solving the unilateral contact problem with a priori unknown contact radius. A specific feature of the method is that the construction of an asymptotic approximation is reduced to a linear algebraic system with respect to integral characteristics (polymoments) of the contact pressure. As an example, the sixth‐order asymptotic model has been written out. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The inverse Sturm‐Liouville problem on a half‐line is considered. With the aid of a Fourier‐Legendre series representation of the transmutation integral kernel and the Gel'fand‐Levitan equation, the numerical solution of the problem is reduced to a system of linear algebraic equations. The potential q is recovered from the first coefficient of the Fourier‐Legendre series. The resulting numerical method is direct and simple. The results of the numerical experiments are presented.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss the limit behaviour of the solution of an evolution boundary‐value problem involving the p‐Laplacian operator for the case of an equivalued condition on a shrinking surface. Copyright © 2004 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献
