Various γ-substituted (2R)-N-(β,γ-enoyl)bornane-10,2-sultams have been examined in diastereoselective OsO4 syn-dihydroxylation. In contrast to the C(α)-atom, the bornane-10,2-sultam auxiliary exerts a very poor influence on the C(β)-carbon. Spontaneous stereoselective hydrolysis of the minor diastereoisomer (3S,4S)-5c opens the way to enantiomerically pure building blocks.  相似文献

The electrochemical properties and catalytic activity of a Co(II) complex with the optically active Schiff base derived from (1R,2R)-(–)-cyclohexanediamine and salicylaldehyde have been studied in non-aqueous solutions. When dissolved in deoxygenated non-aqueous solutions, the complex exhibits reversible redox properties for the Co(II)/Co(III) couple. Electrochemical reduction of oxygen and oxidation of cobalt(II) was observed on cyclic voltammograms of solutions containing both dioxygen and the Schiff base-cobalt(II) complex. An anodically formed film on a platinum electrode, studied by means of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, revealed the presence of the oxidized Co(III) species. Cyclic voltammetry of oxygenated solutions examined after a period of time indicates an electrochemical activity of coordinated superoxo/peroxo species in the 0.7–1.1 V potential range. In the presence of 4-methyl-1-cyclohexene the cyclic voltammetry curves reveal changes similar to those caused by the removal of oxygen. The GC-MS technique was used to identify some of the products formed by the catalytic oxidation of cyclohexene and 4-methyl-1-cyclohexene. Electronic Publication  相似文献

Schiff bases obtained from N,N′-(1R,2R)-1,2-cyclohexanediamine and 2-hydroxy-3-methylbenzaldehyde, 2-hydroxy-5-methylbenzaldehyde, have been used as ligands for copper(II), cobalt(II) and nickel(II). The complexes were characterized with UV–Vis, circular dichroism (CD), infrared, diamagnetic and paramagnetic 1H NMR spectroscopy. CD spectra revealed exciton coupled π→π* transitions. Assignments of LMCT and d–d transitions in CD spectra of Ni(II), Co(II) and Cu(II) complexes is proposed. CD data are characteristic for central ion tetrahedral distortion from the planarity and λ conformation of the cyclohexane ring. 1H NMR of Ni(II) complexes exhibited significant coordination shifts of CHN and ring protons which are in the closest proximity to Ni(II). The 1H NMR paramagnetic spectra of Co(II) complexes revealed the most upfield shifted resonance at −60 ppm assigned to CHN and −28 ppm to hydrogen atom at C(5′) of the phenyl ring. Results of spectral analyses suggest central ions in a distorted square-planar geometry with N2O2 chromofore group.  相似文献

A series of dipeptide substituted nickel complexes with the general formula, [Ni(P(Ph)(2)N(NNA-amino acid/ester)(2))(2)](BF(4))(2), have been synthesized and characterized (P(2)N(2) = 1,5-diaza-3,7-diphosphacyclooctane, and the dipeptide consists of the non-natural amino acid, 3-(4-aminophenyl)propionic acid (NNA), coupled to amino acid/esters = glutamic acid, alanine, lysine, and aspartic acid). Each of these complexes is an active electrocatalyst for H(2) production. The effects of the outer-coordination sphere on the catalytic activity for the production of H(2) were investigated; specifically, the impact of sterics, the ability of the side chain or backbone to protonate and the pK(a) values of the amino acid side chains were studied by varying the amino acids in the dipeptide. The catalytic rates of the different dipeptide substituted nickel complexes varied by over an order of magnitude. The amino acid derivatives display the fastest rates, while esterification of the terminal carboxylic acids and side chains resulted in a decrease in the catalytic rate by 50-70%, implicating a significant role of protonated sites in the outer-coordination sphere on catalytic activity. For both the amino acid and ester derivatives, the complexes with the largest substituents display the fastest rates, indicating that catalytic activity is not hindered by steric bulk. These studies demonstrate the significant contribution that the outer-coordination sphere can have in tuning the catalytic activity of small molecule hydrogenase mimics.  相似文献

A homochiral complex, Zn3(Hsalen)2(Py)4(H2O)2 (salen = (1R,2R)-(-)-diamino-cyclohexane-N,N'-biscarboxyl-salicylidene) 1, has been synthesized by solvothermal procedure and characterized by IR, microanalysis, TGA, powder and single-crystal X-ray crystallography. It crystallizes in monoclinic space group P2 with a = 10.9439(7), b = 10.1722(6), c = 27.3450(17), β = 97.5060(10)o, V = 3018.1(3) 3, Z = 2, Zn3(Hsalen)2(Py)4(H2O)2, Mr = 1363.33, Dc = 1.500 g/cm3, F(000) = 1408, μ = 1.257 mm-1, GOOF = 1.042, the final R = 0.0601 and wR = 0.1464 for 10322 observed reflections with I 2σ(I). The coordination polymer 1 possesses a 1D infinite zigzag chain architecture constructed by strong hydrogen bonding interactions and the polymeric chains are further assembled into a 2D supramolecular network structure via C-H···π interactions between the cyclohexane and aromatic rings of the ligand of adjacent chains. Simultaneously, π···π stacking interactions play an important role in forming the 2D supramolecular framework.  相似文献

A new approach towards the enantioselective synthesis of (2S,2′R)-erythro-methylphenidate (1) is described. The key step in the synthesis utilizes Evans' 4-substituted-2-oxazolidinone chiral auxiliary to control the diastereofacial selectivity in the hydrogenation of enamine intermediate 6, yielding the hydrogenated product 7 with excellent diastereoselectivity. We present a convenient three-step synthesis of amino substituted phosphazenyl phosphines of the general formula (R2N)3P=N–P(NR2)2 [NR2 = N(CH2)4, N(CH2)5, N(CH2)6]. These easily accessible mixed valent compounds display a surprisingly high proton affinity and basicity in the same range as the corresponding Schwesinger diphosphazene (Me2N)3P=N–P=NEt(NMe2)2 (Et-P2) and Verkade's proazaphosphatrane superbases. Within the central [PIII–N=PV] scaffold, the phosphine PIII and not the phosphazene NIII atom is the center of highest proton affinity, basicity and donor strength. As P-bases, the title compounds display calculated proton affinities between 265.8 (NR2 = NMe2) and 274.7 kcal · mol–1 [NR2 = N(CH2)4] and pKBH+ values between 26.4 (NR2 = NMe2) and 31.5 [NR2 = N(CH2)4] on the acetonitrile scale. As P-nucleophiles, they are key intermediates in the synthesis of hyperbasic bis(diphosphazene) proton sponges, chiral bis(diphosphazene) proton pincers, bisphosphazides, and superbasic P2-bisylides. Their Staudinger reactions as nucleophile towards 1,8-diazidonaphthalene leading to 1,8-naphthalene-bisphosphazides is described in detail. The donor strength of the title compounds towards fragments [Se] and [Ni(CO)3] is in the same range as that of N-heterocyclic carbenes.  相似文献

Three silver(I) complexes, [Ag(ca2en)(PPh3)]ClO4 (1), [Ag(ca2en)(PPh3)2]ClO4 (2) and [Ag(ca2en)2]ClO4 (3), where ca2en?=?N,N′-bis(trans-cinnamaldehyde)ethylenediimine, have been synthesized and characterized spectroscopically. A new 1,2-diamine ligand, N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)stilbenediamine (L), has been prepared by reduction of the condensation product of benzaldehyde with 2-aminoethanol with Al amalgam. Hydroxymaleimide was irradiated in N2-saturated 2-propanol solutions by high-energy heavy ions over a wide range of LET values. The differential G-values of the degradation of hydroxymaleimide by irradiation with the heavier ions were lower than those of the lighter ions for the same LET value. An opposite result obtained in the air-saturated system. The degradation efficiency was 1.5 times higher, when the dose rate was 1/10 times lower. When irradiated at an LET value lower than 8 eV/nm, the G-values converged to a value less than that obtained by γ-irradiation.  相似文献

The reaction of (1R,2R,5R)-3-[{2-[(2-hydroxybenzylidene)amino]ethyl}imino]-2,6,6-trimethylbicyclo[3.1.1]heptan-2-ol with lithium tetrachloropalladate was studied. The behavior of [Fe(2) (CO)(4) (κ(2) -PNP(R) )(μ-pdt)] (PNP(R) =(Ph(2) PCH(2) )(2) NR, R=Me (1), Ph (2); pdt=S(CH(2) )(3) S) in the presence of acids is investigated experimentally and theoretically (using density functional theory) in order to determine the mechanisms of the proton reduction steps supported by these complexes, and to assess the role of the PNP(R) appended base in these processes for different redox states of the metal centers. The nature of the R substituent of the nitrogen base does not substantially affect the course of the protonation of the neutral complex by CF(3) SO(3) H or CH(3) SO(3) H; the cation with a bridging hydride ligand, 1?μH(+) (R=Me) or 2?μH(+) (R=Ph) is obtained rapidly. Only 1?μH(+) can be protonated at the nitrogen atom of the PNP chelate by HBF(4) ?Et(2) O or CF(3) SO(3) H, which results in a positive shift of the proton reduction by approximately 0.15?V. The theoretical study demonstrates that in this process, dihydrogen can be released from a η(2) -H(2) species in the Fe(I) Fe(II) state. When R=Ph, the bridging hydride cation 2?μH(+) cannot be protonated at the amine function by HBF(4) ?Et(2) O or CF(3) SO(3) H, and protonation at the N atom of the one-electron reduced analogue is also less favored than that of a S atom of the partially de-coordinated dithiolate bridge. In this situation, proton reduction occurs at the potential of the bridging hydride cation, 2?μH(+) . The rate constants of the overall proton reduction processes are small for both complexes 1 and 2 (k(obs) ≈4-7?s(-1) ) because of the slow intramolecular proton migration and H(2) release steps identified by the theoretical study.  相似文献

Semi-empirical and ab initio calculations are reported which provide a possible explanation for reported experimental results on 2-photon ionization of NO containing a few percent of N2O, which found (NO)3(N2O) n +or? clusters to be significantly more abundant than other (NO) m (N2O) n products. It is found that the observed abundances of (NO)3(N2O) n ionic clusters may be accounted for by the existence of covalent cyclic trimers of nitric oxide attached to oligomers of nitrous oxide. The extra stability of NO trimers in the observed clusters appears to arise from (NO) 3 + rather than (NO)3. Attachment of an (N2O) n side chain to (NO) 3 + occurs exothermically. It is suggested that the addition of N2O to cyclic-(NO) 3 + might provide a means of making a polymer of nitrous oxide, which could have useful properties.  相似文献

First order solvolysis rates of the trans-dichlorobis(R-ethylenediamine)cobalt(III) ion (R=N-Me or N,N-Me2) complex have been investigated in mixtures formed by adding urea to H2O, which enhances the dielectric constant and decreases solvent structure. Differential effects of the changes in solvent structure on the initial and transition states are found to be important factors controlling changes in the rate constant with solvent composition. The variation of the enthalpy and the entropy of activation with solvent composition are contrasted with their variations found for the solvolysis of the complexes in mixtures where solvent structure is enhanced by additions of a co-solvent to water. The application of a free energy cycle to the process of the initial state going to the transition state suggests that the cationic cobalt(III) complexes in the transition state are more stable than the cationic cobalt complexes the initial state in the water+urea mixtures.  相似文献

Structure, stability, and dissociation of H2BSiN, H2NSiN, H2PSiN and their isomers H2BNSi, H2NNSi, H2PNSi have been studied in detail using ab initio MP2 and CCSD(T) methods. After dissociation of H2BNSi, H2NNSi, H2PNSi and their isomers, the fragmented atoms have been considered to be either in their ground state or in their valence excited state in various dissociation channels. Only allowed dissociations of these molecules are considered. Various dissociation channels of H2BNSi, H2NNSi, H2PNSi and their isomers have been explored and interesting trends are observed for the dissociation of stable isomers H2BNSi, H2NNSi, H2PNSi and less stable isomers H2BSiN, H2NSiN, H2PSiN. The effect of substituents on their structural properties has been discussed. The potential energy surfaces for the RSiN ? RNSi isomerization reactions have been analyzed. The structural properties of these molecules agree well with the theoretical values wherever available.  相似文献
