Upper-bound limit analysis based on the natural element method   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The natural element method (NEM) is a newly-developed numerical method based on Voronoi diagram and Delaunay triangulation of scattered points, which adopts natural neighbour interpolation to construct trial functions in the framework of Galerkin method. Owing to its distinctive advantages, the NEM is used widely in many problems of computational mechanics. Utilizing the NEM, this paper deals with numerical limit analysis of structures made up of perfectly rigid-plastic material. According to kinematic theorem of plastic limit analysis, a mathematical programming natural element formulation is established for determining the upper bound multiplier of plane problems, and a direct iteration algorithm is proposed accordingly to solve it. In this algorithm, the plastic incompressibility condition is handled by two different treatments, and the nonlinearity and nonsmoothness of the goal function are overcome by distinguishing the rigid zones from the plastic zones at each iteration. The procedure implementation of iterative process is quite simple and effective because each iteration is equivalent to solving an associated elastic problem. The obtained limit load multiplier is proved to monotonically converge to the upper bound of true solution. Several benchmark examples are investigated to validate the significant performance of the NEM in the application field of limit analysis.  相似文献

从塑性极限分析数值计算的角度,分析了多组载荷联合作用下弯管结构的塑性极限承载能力。为了克服塑性极限上限分析中目标函数非线性非光滑所导致的数值困难,提出了一种弯管结构塑性极限上限分析的无搜索优化迭代算法;采用一种改进的弯管单元并利用加载路径的径向射求解方案处理多组载荷系统。通过对典型弯管结构进行塑性极限分析得出了一些有价值的结论。  相似文献

Structure buckling problems for supercavitating projectiles are often observed in high underwater velocity operating conditions. As a result, it is necessary to perform a structure buckling reliability analysis. It is common that \hboxprobabilistic and nonprobabilistic uncertainty information exist simultaneously. Also, it is reasonable that probability distributions of most random variables in engineering are treated as truncated probability distributions. In this paper, a new hybrid model is proposed, which deals with structure performance function with both truncated probability distribution variables and multi-ellipsoid convex set variables. The model discussed here is adapted for two separate cases in the standard super-sphere space, i.e., limit state surface interferences with a unit super-sphere region or not. The hybrid reliability index is calculated using a modified limit step length iteration algorithm to ensure convergence. Good convergence and validity of the iteration algorithm are verified using numerical examples with highly nonlinear structure performance function. The hybrid model is applied to the structure buckling hybrid reliability analysis of a supercavitating projectile. Results show that structure buckling hybrid reliability index increases with the increase in the ratio of base diameter to cavitator diameter, and decreases with the increase of initial launch velocity. Also, uncertainty degree of cavitator drag coefficient and initial launch velocity should be controlled in demonstration for high structure buckling reliability of supercavitating projectiles.  相似文献

引入混沌动力学理论讨论了FORM收敛失败的非线性动力学根源. 给出了几个典 型函数在参数区间上的可靠指标分岔图,展示了极限状态函数经过FORM迭代成为 非线性映射后计算结果的周期振荡、分岔和混沌等复杂动力学现象,计算了非线性映射的 Lyapunov指数. 结果表明,极限状态函数设计点的曲率大小与FORM的收敛性没有简单的联 系,判别FORM迭代计算收敛性的指标是非线性映射的Lyapunov指数.  相似文献

This paper deals with the computational methods for limit analysis of plane strain problems. The finite element mathematical programming formula (FE-MPF) for determining the upper bound load multiplier established by the authors earlier is adopted and modified for plane strain problems. The penalty method is used to impose the incompressibility constraint. The FE-MPF is solved by a direct iteration procedure without the need of a searching process. This algorithm is not sensitive to the volumetric locking effect. And it can be easily extended to the limit analysis of three dimensional problems. The results of numerical examples are satisfactory and show the stable convergency of the present algorithm.  相似文献

针对截面多变量单元结构的动力优化问题,建立了带频率约束的结构动力优化设计模型,对隐式非线性频率约束函数进行Taylor近似展开,给出了截面多变量单元频率梯度函数显式表达式,基于Kuhn-Tucker条件构建迭代算法,其中拉格朗日乘子通过建立联合方程组求解,形成了含多变量单元共振解耦优化设计方法。以矩形截面单元结构为算例的结果表明,所给单元多变量算法具有良好的准确性;截面变量对频率的贡献存在主次之分,区分指标可采用梯度值;次要变量的修正因子迭代中可采用定值,且其下限应尽可能降低,利于节约成本。本文工作对多变量复杂截面结构动力优化设计可提供理论指导,提高结构动力优化方法的适用性。  相似文献

Limit analysis has been rendered versatile in many structural and metal forming problems. In metal forming analysis, the slip-line method and the upper bound method have filled the role of limit analysis. As a breakthrough of the previous work, a computational approach to limit solutions is considered as the most challenging area.In the present work, a general algorithm for limit solutions of plastic flow is developed with the use of finite element limit analysis. The algorithm deals with a generalized Hölder inequality, a duality theorem, and combined smoothing and successive approximation in addition to a general procedure for finite element analysis. The algorithm is robust such that from any initial trial solution, the first iteration falls into a convex set which contains the exact solution (s) of the problem. The idea of the algorithm for limit solutions is extended from rigid⧹perfectly plastic materials to work-hardening materials by the nature of the limit formulation, which is also robust with numerically stable convergence and highly efficient computing time.  相似文献

Non-linear algebraic equations must be solved by an iterative method, the non-linear equations being linearized by evaluating the non-linear terms with the known solution from the preceding iteration. The Newton-Raphson method, which is based on the Taylor series expansion and uses the tangent stiffness matrix, has been extensively used to solve non-linear problems. In this paper, a new Newton-Raphson algorithm is developed for analyses involving non-linear behavior. Our method, here named as a two-point method, is constructed as a predictor-corrector one, most frequently taking Newton's method in the first iteration. It should be noted that our concern in this research ignores the problem of passing limit points. The presented method incorporates the known information at each stage of the loading process to determine the subsequent unknown variables. Compared with the classic Newton-Raphson algorithm, it offers a strategy that can be deployed to reduce both the number of the iterations and the computing time involved in non-linear analysis of structures.  相似文献

The capability of nonlinear analysis methods in tracing the equilibrium path depends on how to return to static status. In this paper, some residual factors existed in the iteration steps are employed. By setting the residual load parameter to zero, minimizing its factor and the residual displacement parameter, three novel constraint equations are obtained. The new formulas are proved by numerical examples. All obtained results illustrate the minimum residual load scheme's robustness in comparison with the cylindrical arc-length algorithm and other previous strategies. 结构可靠度计算常采用经典的响应面法拟合隐式功能函数或高维功能函数,而对于强非线性功能函数的实际工程问题,尽管其能够计算出结构可靠度的结果,但此时多项式响应面的拟合精度不够,很容易造成不收敛的现象。为了解决上述问题,将响应面法与单纯形寻优的思路进行结合来探求一种有效的计算方法。本文利用单纯形算法对每次迭代的验算点进行优化;再以优化后的设计验算点为中心进行取样,利用响应面法循环迭代计算;最后,沿着真实响应面逐渐逼近最终的验算点。该方法能够解决高维非线性的隐式极限状态方程可靠度计算收敛性的问题,可以提高计算精度和计算效率,具有一定的工程适用性。  相似文献

静响应(位移、应变等)在实际问题的反演分析中很难由安装在结构上的一组传感器记录得到,而结构的动力特性(频率、振型)和 动力响应(加速度、速度、动位移)在实际问题中较易通过传感器采集得到. 文中基于频率残差和模态保证准则构建了反演分析模型的目标函数,并结合频域内动力扩展有限元法和人工蜂群智能优化算法 的优点,扩展有限元法通过引入非连续位移模式在不重新划分网格的情况下通过改变水平集函数反映缺陷的数量、位置及大小, 避免了反演分析每次迭代过程中的网格重剖分,人工蜂群智能优化算法在每次迭代中都采用全局和局部搜索,找到最优解的概 率大幅增大并可很好地避免局部最优,同时,通过引入拓扑变量,将缺陷的数量纳入到反演分析过程中,迭代过程中可智能反演出缺陷的数目,建立了结构内部多缺陷(孔洞、裂纹)的反演分析模型. 通过若干算例的分析表明:建立的反演分析模型能够较为准确地探测出结构内部圆形、椭圆形以及裂纹状缺陷的数量、位置及大小,且算法具有较好的鲁棒性.   相似文献

In this paper,the general formulation of a new proposed iteration algorithm of mixedBEM/FEM for eigenvalue problems of elastodynamics is described.Approximatefundamental solutions of elastodynamics are adopted in the normal mixed BEM/FEMequations.The accuracy of solutions is progressively improved by the iteration procedure.Not only could the awkwar dness of non-algebraic eigenvalue equations be avoided but alsothe accuracy of numerical solutions is almost independent of the interior meshing.All thesegive many advantages in numerical calculation.The algorithm is applied to free torsionalvibration analysis of bodies of revolution.A few cases are studied.All of the numericalresults are very good.  相似文献
