This is one in a series of papers studying measures of information in the so-called mixed theory of information (i.e. considering the events as well as their probabilities) on the open domain (i.e. without empty sets and zero probabilities). In this paper we find all-recursive, 3-semisymmetric inset entropies on the open domain. Density functional theory is used to describe the phase behaviors of rigid molecules. The construction of the kernel function is discussed. Excluded-volume potential is calculated for two types of molecules with C 2v symmetry. Molecular symmetries lead to the symmetries of the kernel function and the density function, enabling a reduction of configuration space. By approximating the kernel function with a polynomial, the system can be fully characterized by some moments corresponding to the form of the kernel function. The symmetries of the kernel function determine the form of the polynomial, while the coefficients are determined by the temperature and molecular parameters. The analysis of the impact of coefficients helps us to choose independent variables in the moments as order parameters. Combining the analysis and some simulation results, we propose a minimal set of order parameters for bent-core molecules.  相似文献

Our status‐related behavior toward others is a function of the characteristics we perceive them to possess. Expectation states theory specifies the nature of the relationship between social characteristics and behavior, but until recently was limited to situations in which only one characteristic is perceived. This paper adds to the theory additional general assumptions from which an information‐combining model is derived. This model specifies status‐related behavior in multiple characteristic situations and other circumstances beyond the original scope of the theory. Comparisons of the model with other formulations provide excellent support.  相似文献

In this paper we discuss the evolution of physical concepts which led to the generation and development of string theories. The paper is conceived with the intention of summarizing and extending with new aspects the specific characteristics of strings which refer to the physical intuition and experiment. We hope to present new insights into the physics of strings and make it understandable from the point of view of a non-string theorist. Even if there exist some opinions that the (super)string theory appertains to the twenty-first or twenty-second century or that there are no concrete new predictions of string theory at low energies, we believe that string theory presents a rich field of research and a source of physical intuition not only for mathematicians but also for theoretical and experimental physicists. We offer as an example an atomic electron cloud which can also be interpreted in terms of a fixed point in a string theory We propose also an experiment to verify the fundamental hypotheses. Finally we deduce that the number of dimensions of spacetime must be infinite by virtue of the axiom of universality of motion.  相似文献

We consider invariant measures for partially hyperbolic, semisimple, higher rank actions on homogeneous spaces defined by products of real andp-adic Lie groups. In this paper we generalize our earlier work to establish measure rigidity in the high entropy case in that setting. We avoid any additional ergodicity-type assumptions but rely on, and extend the theory of conditional measures. We solve the problem of the propagation of a charged quantum particle in a two-dimensional plane embedded in the three-dimensional coordinate space. We consider scattering of this particle by a stable Coulomb center situated in the same plane. We study the wave function of this particle, its Green’s function, and all radial components of these functions. We derive uniform majorant bounds on absolute values of these functions and find the wave function representation in terms of regular radial Coulomb functions and the scattering amplitude representation via partial phases. We obtain integral representations of the Greens’s function and all its radial components.  相似文献
