We define a generalized Li coefficient for the L-functions attached to the Rankin–Selberg convolution of two cuspidal unitary automorphic representations π and π of GLm(\mathbbAF)GL_{m}(\mathbb{A}_{F}) and GLm(\mathbbAF)GL_{m^{\prime }}(\mathbb{A}_{F}) . Using the explicit formula, we obtain an arithmetic representation of the n th Li coefficient lp,p(n)\lambda _{\pi ,\pi ^{\prime }}(n) attached to L(s,pf×[(p)\tilde]f)L(s,\pi _{f}\times \widetilde{\pi}_{f}^{\prime }) . Then, we deduce a full asymptotic expansion of the archimedean contribution to lp,p(n)\lambda _{\pi ,\pi ^{\prime }}(n) and investigate the contribution of the finite (non-archimedean) term. Under the generalized Riemann hypothesis (GRH) on non-trivial zeros of L(s,pf×[(p)\tilde]f)L(s,\pi _{f}\times \widetilde{\pi}_{f}^{\prime }) , the nth Li coefficient lp,p(n)\lambda _{\pi ,\pi ^{\prime }}(n) is evaluated in a different way and it is shown that GRH implies the bound towards a generalized Ramanujan conjecture for the archimedean Langlands parameters μ π (v,j) of π. Namely, we prove that under GRH for L(s,pf×[(p)\tilde]f)L(s,\pi _{f}\times \widetilde{\pi}_{f}) one has |Remp(v,j)| £ \frac14|\mathop {\mathrm {Re}}\mu_{\pi}(v,j)|\leq \frac{1}{4} for all archimedean places v at which π is unramified and all j=1,…,m.  相似文献

Consider a family of smooth immersions F(·,t) : Mn? \mathbbRn+1{F(\cdot,t)\,:\,{M^n\to \mathbb{R}^{n+1}}} of closed hypersurfaces in \mathbbRn+1{\mathbb{R}^{n+1}} moving by the mean curvature flow \frac?F(p,t)?t = -H(p,t)·n(p,t){\frac{\partial F(p,t)}{\partial t} = -H(p,t)\cdot \nu(p,t)}, for t ? [0,T){t\in [0,T)}. We show that at the first singular time of the mean curvature flow, certain subcritical quantities concerning the second fundamental form, for example ò0tòMs\frac|A|n + 2 log (2 + |A|) dmds,{\int_{0}^{t}\int_{M_{s}}\frac{{\vert{\it A}\vert}^{n + 2}}{ log (2 + {\vert{\it A}\vert})}} d\mu ds, blow up. Our result is a log improvement of recent results of Le-Sesum, Xu-Ye-Zhao where the scaling invariant quantities were considered.  相似文献

The first part of this paper is devoted to the study of FN{\Phi_N} the orthogonal polynomials on the circle, with respect to a weight of type f = (1 − cos θ) α c where c is a sufficiently smooth function and ${\alpha > -\frac{1}{2}}${\alpha > -\frac{1}{2}}. We obtain an asymptotic expansion of the coefficients F*(p)N(1){\Phi^{*(p)}_{N}(1)} for all integer p where F*N{\Phi^*_N} is defined by F*N (z) = zN [`(F)]N(\frac1z) (z 1 0){\Phi^*_N (z) = z^N \bar \Phi_N(\frac{1}{z})\ (z \not=0)}. These results allow us to obtain an asymptotic expansion of the associated Christofel–Darboux kernel, and to compute the distribution of the eigenvalues of a family of random unitary matrices. The proof of the results related to the orthogonal polynomials are essentially based on the inversion of the Toeplitz matrix associated to the symbol f.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider massless Dirac fields propagating in the outer region of de Sitter–Reissner–Nordstr?m black holes. We show that the metric of such black holes is uniquely determined by the partial knowledge of the corresponding scattering matrix S(λ) at a fixed energy λ ≠ 0. More precisely, we consider the partial wave scattering matrices S(λ, n) (here λ ≠ 0 is the fixed energy and n ? \mathbbN*{n \in \mathbb{N}^{*}} denotes the angular momentum) defined as the restrictions of the full scattering matrix on a well chosen basis of spin-weighted spherical harmonics. We prove that the mass M, the square of the charge Q 2 and the cosmological constant Λ of a dS-RN black hole (and thus its metric) can be uniquely determined from the knowledge of either the transmission coefficients T(λ, n), or the reflexion coefficients R(λ, n) (resp. L(λ, n)), for all n ? L{n \in {\mathcal{L}}} where L{\mathcal{L}} is a subset of \mathbbN*{\mathbb{N}^{*}} that satisfies the Müntz condition ?n ? L\frac1n = +¥{\sum_{n \in{\mathcal{L}}}\frac{1}{n} = +\infty} . Our main tool consists in complexifying the angular momentum n and in studying the analytic properties of the “unphysical” scattering matrix S(λ, z) in the complex variable z. We show, in particular, that the quantities \frac1T(l,z){\frac{1}{T(\lambda,z)}}, \fracR(l,z)T(l,z){\frac{R(\lambda,z)}{T(\lambda,z)}} and \fracL(l,z)T(l,z){\frac{L(\lambda,z)}{T(\lambda,z)}} belong to the Nevanlinna class in the region ${\{z \in \mathbb{C}, Re(z) > 0 \}}${\{z \in \mathbb{C}, Re(z) > 0 \}} for which we have analytic uniqueness theorems at our disposal. Eventually, as a by-product of our method, we obtain reconstruction formulae for the surface gravities of the event and cosmological horizons of the black hole which have an important physical meaning in the Hawking effect.  相似文献

A method is derived for the numerical evaluation of the error term arising in a quadrature formula of Clenshaw-Curtis type for functions of the form (1-x2)l- \frac12f(x)(1-x^{2})^{\lambda - \frac{1}{2}}f(x) over the interval [−1,1]. The method is illustrated by an example.  相似文献

We establish uniform estimates for order statistics: Given a sequence of independent identically distributed random variables ξ 1, … , ξ n and a vector of scalars x = (x 1, … , x n ), and 1 ≤ k ≤ n, we provide estimates for \mathbb E   k-min1 £ in |xixi|{\mathbb E \, \, k-{\rm min}_{1\leq i\leq n} |x_{i}\xi _{i}|} and \mathbb E k-max1 £ in|xixi|{\mathbb E\,k-{\rm max}_{1\leq i\leq n}|x_{i}\xi_{i}|} in terms of the values k and the Orlicz norm ||yx||M{\|y_x\|_M} of the vector y x  = (1/x 1, … , 1/x n ). Here M(t) is the appropriate Orlicz function associated with the distribution function of the random variable |ξ 1|, G(t) = \mathbb P ({ |x1| £ t}){G(t) =\mathbb P \left(\left\{ |\xi_1| \leq t\right\}\right)}. For example, if ξ 1 is the standard N(0, 1) Gaussian random variable, then G(t) = ?{\tfrac2p}ò0t e-\fracs22ds {G(t)= \sqrt{\tfrac{2}{\pi}}\int_{0}^t e^{-\frac{s^{2}}{2}}ds }  and M(s)=?{\tfrac2p}ò0se-\frac12t2dt{M(s)=\sqrt{\tfrac{2}{\pi}}\int_{0}^{s}e^{-\frac{1}{2t^{2}}}dt}. We would like to emphasize that our estimates do not depend on the length n of the sequence.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the initial-boundary value problem of porous medium equation ρ(x)u t  = Δu m  + V(x)h(t)u p in a cone D = (0, ∞) × Ω, where V(x)  ~  |x|s, h(t)  ~  ts{V(x)\,{\sim}\, |x|^\sigma, h(t)\,{\sim}\, t^s}. Let ω 1 denote the smallest Dirichlet eigenvalue for the Laplace-Beltrami operator on Ω and let l denote the positive root of l 2 + (n − 2)l = ω 1. We prove that if m < p £ 1+(m-1)(1+s)+\frac2(s+1)+sn+l{m < p \leq 1+(m-1)(1+s)+\frac{2(s+1)+\sigma}{n+l}}, then the problem has no global nonnegative solutions for any nonnegative u 0 unless u 0 = 0; if ${p >1 +(m-1)(1+s)+\frac{2(s+1)+\sigma}{n+l}}${p >1 +(m-1)(1+s)+\frac{2(s+1)+\sigma}{n+l}}, then the problem has global solutions for some u 0 ≥ 0.  相似文献

In this paper we establish some regularizing and decay rate estimates for mild solutions of the Debye–Hückel system. We prove that if the initial data belong to the critical Lebesgue space L\fracn2(\mathbbRn){L^{\frac{n}{2}}(\mathbb{R}^{n})} , then the L q -norm ( \fracn2 £ q £ ¥{\frac{n}{2} \leq q \leq \infty}) of the βth order spatial derivative of mild solutions are majorized by K1(K2|b|)|b|t-\frac|b|2-1+\fracn2q{K_{1}(K_{2}|\beta|)^{|\beta|}t^{-\frac{|\beta|}{2}-1+\frac{n}{2q}}} for some constants K 1 and K 2. These estimates particularly imply that mild solutions are analytic in the space variable, and provide decay estimates in the time variable for higher-order derivatives of mild solutions. We also prove that similar estimates also hold for mild solutions whose initial data belong to the critical homogeneous Besov space [(B)\dot]-2+\fracnpp,¥(\mathbbRn){\dot{B}^{-2+\frac{n}{p}}_{p,\infty}(\mathbb{R}^n)} ( \fracn2 < p < n{\frac{n}{2} < p < n}).  相似文献

In this work, we consider the function pod(n), the number of partitions of an integer n wherein the odd parts are distinct (and the even parts are unrestricted), a function which has arisen in recent work of Alladi. Our goal is to consider this function from an arithmetic point of view in the spirit of Ramanujan’s congruences for the unrestricted partition function p(n). We prove a number of results for pod(n) including the following infinite family of congruences: for all α≥0 and n≥0,
pod(32a+3n+\frac23×32a+2+18) o 0 (mod 3).\mathrm{pod}\biggl(3^{2\alpha+3}n+\frac{23\times3^{2\alpha+2}+1}{8}\biggr)\equiv 0\ (\mathrm{mod}\ 3).  相似文献

We are interested in the isometric equivalence problem for the Cesàro operator C(f) (z) = \frac1z ò0zf(x) \frac11-xd x{C(f) (z) =\frac{1}{z} \int_{0}^{z}f(\xi) \frac{1}{1-\xi}d \xi} and an operator Tg(f)(z)=\frac1zò0zf(x) g(x) d x{T_{g}(f)(z)=\frac{1}{z}\int_{0}^{z}f(\xi) g^{\prime}(\xi) d \xi}, where g is an analytic function on the disc, on the Hardy and Bergman spaces. Then we generalize this to the isometric equivalence problem of two operators Tg1{T_{g_{1}}} and Tg2{T_{g_{2}}} on the Hardy space and Bergman space. We show that the operators Tg1{T_{g_{1}}} and Tg2{T_{g_{2}}} satisfy Tg1U1=U2Tg2{T_{g_{1}}U_{1}=U_{2}T_{g_{2}}} on H p , 1 ≤ p < ∞, p ≠ 2 if and only if g2(z) = lg1(eiqz){g_{2}(z) =\lambda g_{1}(e^{i\theta}z) }, where λ is a modulus one constant and U i , i = 1, 2 are surjective isometries of the Hardy Space. This is analogous to the Campbell-Wright result on isometrically equivalence of composition operators on the Hardy space.  相似文献

Let Ω and Π be two finitely connected hyperbolic domains in the complex plane \Bbb C{\Bbb C} and let R(z, Ω) denote the hyperbolic radius of Ω at z and R(w, Π) the hyperbolic radius of Π at w. We study the long-time asymptotics of the doubly nonlinear diffusion equation ${\rho_t={\rm div}(|\nabla\rho^m |^{p-2} \nabla\left(\rho^m\right))}We study the long-time asymptotics of the doubly nonlinear diffusion equation rt=div(|?rm |p-2 ?(rm)){\rho_t={\rm div}(|\nabla\rho^m |^{p-2} \nabla\left(\rho^m\right))} in \mathbbRn{\mathbb{R}^n}, in the range \fracn-pn(p-1) < m < \fracn-p+1n(p-1){\frac{n-p}{n(p-1)} < m < \frac{n-p+1}{n(p-1)}} and 1 < p < ∞ where the mass of the solution is conserved, but the associated energy functional is not displacement convex. Using a linearisation of the equation, we prove an L 1-algebraic decay of the non-negative solution to a Barenblatt-type solution, and we estimate its rate of convergence. We then derive the nonlinear stability of the solution by means of some comparison method between the nonlinear equation and its linearisation. Our results cover the exponent interval \frac2nn+1 < p < \frac2n+1n+1{\frac{2n}{n+1} < p < \frac{2n+1}{n+1}} where a rate of convergence towards self-similarity was still unknown for the p-Laplacian equation.  相似文献
