In-beam- andn-measurements have for the first time identified excited states in the 72 157 Hf85 nucleus and have established its yrast levels up to 6.5 MeV and I=(51/2). The results of parameter-free 11-particle recoupling calculations in the framework of the shell model for the configurationsh 11 2/8 f 7 2/3 andh 11 2/8 f 7 2/2 h9/2 are in excellent agreement with the observed levels up to 39/2 at 4.758 MeV. A weakly populated 52 ns 29/2+ yrast isomer at 2.876 MeV is assigned as the three-neutron configurationf7/2h9/2i13/2.  相似文献

In (α,5n) in-beam γ- and electron measurements we have established high-spin states in the 3-neutronhole nuclei141Sm and143Gd. Observed energy levels below 4 MeV are interpreted in terms of shell model configurations where the odd h11/2 neutron hole couples to the N=80 core excitations containing one h11/2 proton particle or one h11/2 neutron hole. Higher-lying yrast states are built on a 23/2? level at Rd 3.2 MeV probably involving the πh 1 2/2 guh 11 2/?1 configUTa-tion.  相似文献

Firm spin-parity assignments for the high-spin states up to 3.5 MeV in the one-proton nucleus147Tb were obtained from144Sm(6Li, 3n) in-beamγ-ray and conversion electron measurements. The energies of these two-particle one-hole excitations were calculated from the shell model with empirical nucleon-nucleon interaction energies. The calculated energy splittings agree well with experiment, whereas the theoretical excitation energies disagree by ?1 MeV if recently measured ground state masses are used.  相似文献

Excited states of 142Ce, populated in deep inelastic reactions of 82Se projectiles bombarding 139La target, have been studied up to medium spins using in-beam γ spectroscopy techniques. Three new levels have been identified at 2625, 2995, 3834 keV, and assigned as 8+, 9(-) and 11(-), respectively. These new yrast states follow closely the level systematics of the even mass N = 84 isotones. Their strctures have been discussed with the help of empirical shell model calculations. The yrast levels of theN=83 odd-odd nuclei150Ho and152Tm have been studied byγ-ray spectroscopy following reactions induced by 240–250 MeV60Ni ions. Isomers have been identified in150Ho at 1.096, 2.625 and ~8.0 MeV and in152Tm at 2.555 and ~ 6.3 MeV, and the level schemes of both nuclei have been established up to 2.6 MeV. The level spectra are interpreted using the shell model in terms of the coupling of anf 7/2,h 9/2 or i13/2 valence neutron to the yrast excitations of the neighboring N=82 nuclei.  相似文献

In an in-beam study of 67 151 Ho84 we have established its high-spin states up to 10 MeV and have suggested spin assignments up to (49/2) at 6.2 MeV. The main decay-cascade proceeds through the yrast states of the h3 11/2f2 7/2 and h3 11/2f7/2h9/2 5-particle configurations, which are predicted with good accuracy in parameter-free shell-model calculations. States with one proton in d3/2, or involving i13/2 or f7/2×3 excitations were also identified.  相似文献

High spin states in theN=50 nucleus93Tc were reinvestigated by using the reaction64Zn (35Cl,4p 2n) at a beam energy of 140 MeV. This was done particularly with a view to observe anyγ rays upto 2.7 MeV which may have been missed in our earlier study where the experimental conditions were set to observeγ rays upto 2 MeV. We found four newγ rays of energy: 2484, 2164, 2130 and 69 keV. We have placed theseγ rays in the level scheme and it now gets extended to 49/2?. Though there is no substantial change in the level scheme, placing theγ rays in the level scheme has resulted into two important conclusions: (1) We have performed shell model calculations for93Tc nucleus within a model space which encompasses an enlarged proton configuration and allows for the excitation of the neutron across theN=50 core. The excitation of a single neutron across theN=50 core satisfactorily explains the new level scheme. (2) The energy of the 17/2? isomeric state is now unambiguously placed at 2185 keV.  相似文献

Excited states in the nucleus150Tb have been investigated up to spin 39? and 13 MeV excitation energy using the130Te(27Al, 7n) reaction and the EUROGAM array. The theoretical interpretation of the observed states has been performed in the framework of the deformed independent particle model. The analysis of the decay out of the yrast superdeformed band indicates that normal-deformed states with spins between 24? and 28? are fed.  相似文献

We have performed shell model calculations of the half-lives and neutron-branching probabilities of the r-process waiting-point nuclei at the magic neutron number N = 82 . These new calculations use a larger model space than previous shell model studies and an improved residual interaction which is adjusted to recent spectroscopic data around A = 130 . Our shell model results give a good account of all experimentally known half-lives and Q β -values for the N = 82 r-process waiting-point nuclei. Our half-life predictions for the N = 82 nuclei with Z = 42-46 agree well with recent estimates based in the energy-density functional method.  相似文献

Excited states in the Tz = 0 nucleus 70Br have been investigated using the reaction 58Ni(16O,1p3n). % rays were detected with one EUROBALL CLUSTER detector and three single HPGe detectors. Charged particles and neutrons were registered with the Rossendorf silicon ball and six modules of the EUROBALL neutron wall, respectively. The identification of % transitions in 70Br is based on the analysis of %%-proton-neutron coincidences. A level scheme of 70Br has been established for the first time. It shows a multiplet-like structure of probably isospin T = 0 while T = 1 isobaric analogue states are not observed.  相似文献

Isospin mixing of the recently discovered doublet of 4(+) states with isospin quantum numbers T = 0 and T = 1 in 54Co is analyzed. It is shown that the measured E2/M1 multipole mixing ratios can be used to estimate the isospin mixing of these states. Combining the new experimental data with results of a shell model calculation, the amount of isospin mixing is found to be approximately 0.2%.  相似文献

Energy levels and decay scheme of the nucleus150Nd produced by using 10 MeV deuterons have been investigated with efficientγ-γ coincidence equipment during an in-beam150Nd bombardment. In addition to the ground band, aK π=0? octupole band is strongly populated allowing the identification of its three lowest members. The assignments of the levels are based on coincidence data and on systematic comparison with the (d, d′) cross sections known from three other doubly-evenN=90 nuclei. The decay properties of the 1/2+ levels in149Nd populated in this study through the (d, tγ) reaction are also discussed.  相似文献
