We report on a method for electrochemical enantioselective recognition of tryptophan (Trp) enantiomers. It is based on competitive host-guest interaction between a deoxy-(2-aminoethylamino)-β-cyclodextrin (CD) bound to graphene nanosheets and the Cu(II) complexes of the Trp enantiomers via a ligand exchange mechanism. Chiral recognition was investigated via cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The results reveal that the CD bound to graphene displays a stronger interaction with the Cu(II) complex of L-Trp than to that of D-Trp. The method was applied to the determination of the ratio of Trp enantiomers in mixtures.

A high-efficient purification method of flavonoids from Lithocarpus polystachyus Rehd leaves is reported. Two adsorbents functionalized with glucosamine (GA) and β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) were synthesized and characterized by the Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectra. Also, adsorption properties and purification effect of flavonoids on different adsorbents were investigated. Two typical commercial adsorbents, AB-8 and D101, were employed as the reference materials. The adsorption capacity was enhanced remarkably by the introduction of GA and β-CD groups to the adsorbents. Moreover, the isotherms were well fitted by the Freundlich model. After a one-step column chromatographic separation, the purity of phloridzin increased significantly from 14.65 % to 79.48 % for PS-CD, to 66.56 % for PS-GA, 44.68 % for D101, and to 52.84 % for AB-8. This study provides a novel alternative matrix for the purification of phloridzin from Lithocarpus polystachyus Rehd leaves extracts.  相似文献

Two βCD dimers (linked by succinic acid, 2, or ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, EDTA, 3, bridges) and a negatively charged monomer derivative of βCD, 1, have been synthesized and their ability to solubilize cholesterol in aqueous solution was studied. The three compounds exhibit a great capacity in solubilizing cholesterol as, for instance, concentrations up to 6 mM of cholesterol were measured in the presence of 25 mM of 3. The phase-solubility diagrams of the two dimers exhibit A L type profiles while the monomer 1 follows an A P isotherm. The cholesterol/dimer complexes have 1:1 stoicheiometries while monomer 1 forms two complexes with molar ratios of 1:1 and 1:2 (cholesterol/1). The equilibrium constants are K 1:1 = (5.9 ± 0.3) × 104 M?1 and K 1:1 = (8.8 ± 0.2) × 104 M?1 for 2 and 3, respectively, and K 1:1 = 73 ± 19 M?1 and K 1:2 = 204 ± 65 M?1 for 1. The comparison of K 1:1(3) with the product K 1:1 × K 1:2 (1) reveals that a chelate effect in binding the cholesterol by 3 exists. The structure of the cholesterol/3 complex was studied by ROESY experiments and by molecular dynamics simulations.  相似文献

In this study, a novel carboxymethyl functionalized β-cyclodextrin-modified graphene oxide (CM-β-CD-GO) adsorbent was designed and fabricated. The CM-β-CD-GO was applied to remove methylene blue (MB) from aqueous solutions. The adsorption mechanism was discussed in detail through the study of pH effect, kinetics, and isotherm models. The adsorption of CM-β-CD-GO for MB displayed high removal rates at the pH range of 6.0–10.0, and the removal efficiency is over 90% within 20 min. The pseudo-second-order model could well describe the kinetic process of MB adsorption, and the adsorption was determined by the multi-step process. The maximum uptake capability of CM-β-CD-GO towards MB was 245.70 mg g−1 at 25 °C according to Langmuir isotherm model. A possible adsorption mechanism that electrostatic attraction, π-π interaction, and host-guest supramolecular interactions supported MB adsorption was proposed. The adsorption capacity of CM-β-CD-GO showed no significant change after five cycles. The structure and morphology of CM-β-CD-GO were characterized by XPS, FT-IR, TGA, PXRD, AFM, SEM, zeta (ζ) potential determination, and Raman spectroscopy. This work provides valuable information for the design of novel adsorbents that specifically and efficiently adsorb cationic dyes contaminants.  相似文献

SAPO-34 molecular sieves were synthesized by the addition of β-cyclodextrin(β-CD) as crystal growth inhibitor using metakaolin as silicon and aluminum sources. Properties of the obtained samples were characterized by XRD,SEM,N2adsorption–desorption,FTIR,XRF,EDX,NH293-TPD andSi MAS NMR. When β-CD was added,crystal size of the SAPO-34 crystals decreased. Variation of Si content from the crystal center to surface decreased while total Si content hardly changed.29 Si MAS NMR results showed that β-CD contributed to better Si dispersion and decreased the size of Si(4Si) patches. Moreover,the MTO(methanol-to-olefin) process was conducted to investigate the influence of β-CD on catalytic performance. The synthesized sample with molar ratio of β-CD/Al2O3 equaling 0.055 remained active for 610 min while the sample synthesized without β-CD for only 280 min,which indicates that the lifetime of catalyst synthesized with β-CD is greatly prolonged.  相似文献

Sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS) including β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) (β-CDSDS) was used to detect cholesterol at the 4-cyano-4′-pentylbiphenyl (5CB)/aqueous interface in transmission electron microscopy (TEM) grid cells. The β-CD acts as a host for SDS (guest). The guest SDS enclosed within the β-CD cavity was replaced with cholesterol by injecting cholesterol solution into the TEM cell at concentrations greater than 3 μM. The replacement of SDS with cholesterol was confirmed by pH measurement and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The SDS excluded from the β-CD altered the planar orientation of the 5CB confined within the TEM grid cell to a homeotropic orientation. This planar-to-homeotropic transition was observed using a polarized optical microscope under crossed polarizers. This convenient TEM grid cell provides a new method for the selective detection of cholesterol without immobilization of the detecting receptors (enzyme, antibody, or aptamer) or the use of sophisticated instruments.  相似文献

In this work, a novel sandwich-type electrochemical immunosensor based on host-guest interaction was fabricated for the detection of alpha-fetoprotein (AFP). Due to the large specific surface area of multiwalled carbon nanotubes and the unique supramolecular recognition ability of β-cyclodextrins, ferrocenecarboxylic acid (Fc) was incorporated into this sensor platform by host-guest interaction to generate an electrochemical signal. And β-cyclodextrins functionalized silver supported adamantine-modified glucose oxidase (GOD-CD-Ag), was used as a label to improve the analytical performance of the immunosensor by the dual amplification strategy. The obtained GOD-CD-Ag conjugates could convert glucose into gluconic acid with the formation of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). And then silver nanoparticles could in situ catalyze the reduction of the generated H2O2, dramatically improving the oxidation reaction of Fc. The developed immunosensor shows a wide linear calibration range from 0.001 to 5.0 ng/mL with a low detection limit (0.2 pg/mL) for the detection of AFP. The method, with ideal reproducibility and selectivity, has a wide application prospect in clinical research.  相似文献

A pyrene-functional fluoroionophore, 1 was used to construct a supramolecular 1/γ-CD complex for Cu2+ recognition in water. In aqueous γ-CD solution, 1 exhibits pyrene monomer fluorescence emission at 378 nm and 397 nm, while in the presence of Cu2+, it shows a pyrene excimer emission at 452 nm with a decrease in the monomer fluorescence due to the formation of a 1:2 metal-liganded complex. Based on the response characteristics of the supramolecular complex, a fluorescent ratiometric method was performed for the determination of Cu2+ concentration in water. With the optimum conditions described, Cu2+ in aqueous solution can be determined from 1.2 × 10−6 to 4.5 × 10−4 M. The Cu2+ selectivity of the complex is excellent, and the excimer fluorescence enhancements are very smaller induced by other heavy metal and transition metal ions.  相似文献

The toxic organic dye contaminants in wastewater are extremely harmful to the ecosystem.Surface enhanced Raman scattering(SERS) is a technique with high sensitivity and chemical specificity which fulfills the requirements for monitoring dye contaminants in wastewater.However,as one of the common dye contaminants,methyl orange(MO) has very weak affinity to metallic surfaces and is difficult to be detected by SERS at low concentrations.Therefore,a new type of SERS substrate with Ag nanoparticle monolayer functionalized by mono-6-deoxy-6-thio-β-cyclodextrin(β-CD-SH) was prepared to efficiently capture and detect MO in wastewater with a limit of detection of 5×10-7 mol/L.The hydrophobic cavity of β-CD is responsible for the efficient trap and enrichment of MO on the Ag NPs surface,achieving a strong SERS signal of MO at low concentrations and at different pH values.This study provides new insight into designing a well-performed adsorbent for the capture and detection of organic contaminants.  相似文献

Solubility trend of naproxen in the presence of 5 and 10 mM of β-CD was measured at 298.2 K and compared with solubility profiles in the absence of β-CD for water + cosolvent mixtures. The saturated solutions of the given volume fractions were reached using shake-flask method, and then the solubility values were measured by UV spectrophotometric method at 256 nm. Afterwards, the experimental solubility data points of naproxen in water + ethanol (EtOH) and water + N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone with and without β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) were correlated with Jouyban–Acree model. Calculation results revealed that the back-calculated solubilities were in good agreement with the corresponding experimental values. By applying the correlated equations, one can rapidly predict the solubility of naproxen in all solvent compositions.  相似文献

The objective of this research was to improve the aqueous solubility, dissolution rate and, consequently, bioavailability of diacerein, along with avoiding its side effect of diarrhea, by complexation with β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) and HP-β-cyclodextrin (HP-β-CD). Phase solubility curve was classified as an AN type for both the CDs, which indicated formation of complex of diacerein with β-CD and HP-β-CD in 1:1 stoichiometry and demonstrating that both CDs are proportionally less effective at higher concentrations. The complexes were prepared by kneading method and were evaluated to study the effect of complexation on aqueous solubility and rate of dissolution in phosphate buffer (pH 6.8). Based on the dissolution profile HP-β-CD was selected for preparing fast disintegrating tablet of diacerein which was compared with marketed formulation (MF-J). The HP-β-CD complex was probed for Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, and powder X-ray diffraction studies which evidenced stable complex formation and increase in amorphousness of diacerein in complex. In brief, the characterization studies confirmed the inclusion of diacerein within the non-polar cavity of HP-β-CD. HP-β-CD complex showed improved in vitro drug release profile compared to pure drug and similar to that of marketed formulation respectively.  相似文献

A self-assembly hybrid of gold nanoparticles on graphene modified electrodes for low-potential NADH detection has been achieved. We used the natural polymer chitosan (Chit) to assist the stabilization of graphene in aqueous solution, and immobilize the electronegative Au nanoparticles (NPs) through electrostatic attraction. The synergy of Au NPs with graphene for catalytic oxidation of NADH made the overpotential ca. 220 mV less positive than that on the bare electrode, and remarkably increased the oxidation current. The amperometric sensors based on such modified electrodes for detection of NADH exhibited a good linearity from 1.5 to 320 μM, and showed high sensitivity with a low detection limit of 1.2 μM (S/N = 3). It could also exclude common interfering electroactive compounds like ascorbic acid and possessed good reproducibility and operational stability. Such eminent performance of the Au-RGO/Chit film together with the ability of graphene to significantly enhance the electron transfer between enzymes and the electrode suggested its promise for constructing novel graphene based dehydrogenase biosensors.  相似文献

We describe a method for detecting DNA methylation. It is based on direct oxidation of DNA bases at a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with film of a multiwalled carbon nanotube-β-cyclodextrin composite. This nano-structured film causes a strong enhancement on the oxidation current of DNA bases due to its large effective surface area and extraordinary electronic properties. Well-defined peaks were obtained as a result of electro-oxidation of guanine (at 0.67 V), adenine (at 0.92 V), thymine (at 1.11 V), cytosine (at 1.26 V), and 5-methylcytosine (at 1.13 V; all data vs. saturated calomel electrode (SCE)). The potential difference between 5-methylcytosine and cytosine (130 mV) is large enough to enable reliable simultaneous determination and analysis. The interference by thymine can be eliminated by following the principle of complementary pairing between purine and pyrimidine bases in DNA. The modified electrode was successfully applied to the evaluation of 5-methylcytosine in a fish sperm DNA, the methylation level of cytosine was found to be 7.47 %, and the analysis process took less than 1 h.  相似文献
