Square-planar cations of the orange form of [Pt(Me2bzimpy)Cl](PF6) x DMF [Me2bzimpy = 2,6-bis(N-methylbenzimidazol-2-yl)pyridine] stack along the b axis in a head-to-tail arrangement with short interplanar spacings (3.35 and 3.39 A). Long intermolecular Pt...Pt contacts [4.336(2) and 4.565(2) A] and comparatively short Me2bzimpy...Me2bzimpy distances are consistent with spectroscopic measurements for orange salts of Pt(Me2bzimpy)Cl+. The DMF solvent molecules line channels parallel to c, which may provide a conduit for vapor absorption. The crystals are vapochromic, changing from orange to violet upon exposure to acetonitrile vapor. The changes in spectroscopic properties accompanying vapor absorption are consistent with changes in intermolecular interactions between complexes.  相似文献

Summary The following palladium(II) and platinum(ll) complexes of rhodanine (HRd) and 3-methylrhodanine (MRd) have been prepared: Pd(HRd)1.5Cl2, Pd(HRd)2Br2, Pd(HRd)2Br2 · 0.25 EtOH, M(MRd)2X2 [M = Pd, X = Cl (0.25 EtOH) or Br; M = Pt, X = Cl or Br], Pd(MRd)3Br2, and M(MRd)4(ClO4)2 (M = Pd or Pt). The ligands are coordinated to the metal through the thiocarbonylic sulphur atom. Pd(HRd)1.5Cl2 has presumably a structure such as (X = Cl or Br) complexes have a trans-planar coordination. Pd(MRd)2X2 (X = Cl or Br) complexes arecis-planar coordinated. Pd(MRd)3Br2 has presumably a square coordination with two MRd molecules and two CI ionscis-coordinated in the equatorial plane, and a MRd molecule and a Cl ion weakly bonded in apical position. The (hydroxo) methyl complex Pt(OH)(CH3)(Diphos) [Diphos = Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2] reacts with compounds containing acidic CH bonds (HX) to give unsymmetrical cis-dialkyls of general formula Pt(CH3)X(Diphos) [X = CH2COCH3, CH(COCH3)2, CH2CN or CH2NO2]; both the methyl and the cyclohexenyl complexes Pt(OH)R(Diphos) (R = CH3 or C6H9) insert carbon monoxide to give hydroxycarbonyl complexes PtR(CO2H)(Diphos) which are remarkably stable to decomposition by β-elimination.  相似文献

The coordination ability of two 3-pyridinyl coumarins with Pd(II) and Pt(II) both in solution and in solid state is elucidated by conventional and linear-polarized IR-spectroscopy of oriented colloid suspensions in nematic liquid crystal, 1H- and 13C-NMR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, positive and negative ion mass spectrometry (ESI), HPLC tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC ESI MS/MS), TGV, and DSC methods. The four metal complexes are compared with free ligands. Density functional theory calculations are performed to obtain the electronic structure and vibrational properties of the compounds to support the experimental data.  相似文献
