Solvation of both tautomeric forms of 2-oxopyrimidine by carbon tetrachloride has been investigated using the Monte Carlo method for a cluster consisting of 50 molecules at T=300 K. The results indicate that, in oposition to hydration, this solvation shifts the tautomeric equilibrium a little towards the lactim form, in agreement with experiment. The structure of the solvation shell in both tautomers closely resembles that of the pure solvent. Local minima of the interaction energy between n = 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 CCl4 molecules and 2-oxopyrimidine have been examined. The results shed some light on the nature of the poor solubility of purines and pyrimidines in carbon tetrachloride.  相似文献

A detailed investigation of a valence tautomeric (VT) transition for the new complex [Co(III)(3,5-DBCat)(3,5-DBSQ)(py)?]/[Co(II)(3,5-DBSQ)?(py)?] (1) is reported, where 3,5-DBCatH? is 3,5-di-tert-butyl-catechol, 3,5-DBSQH is 3,5-di-tert-butyl-semiquinone and py is pyridine. Complex 1 exists as a mixture of the two valence tautomers, with the relative proportion of each depending on the external conditions. Three differently solvated forms of the complex have been synthesized and variable temperature structural and magnetic investigations of one of these, 1·0.5py, reveals that this compound undergoes a thermally-induced VT transition from the [Co(III)(3,5-DBCat)(3,5-DBSQ)(py)?] tautomer at temperatures below 150 K to a 1 : 1 mixture of the two tautomers at temperatures above 300 K. The VT transition may also be photo-induced at 9 K, affording a similar mixture of the two tautomers. In both cases the incomplete transition is attributed to the presence of π-π stacking interactions between the pyridine molecules of solvation and one of the two crystallographically independent complex molecules, which inhibits the expansion of this molecule that would accompany a VT transition. Studies on alternatively solvated forms 1·2MeCN and 1·1.67hexane also suggest a significant dependence of the VT transition on solvation-induced packing effects and/or intermolecular interactions.  相似文献

The structure of the hypoglycemic agent Gliclazide has been studied by 1H, 13C, and 15N NMR in solution (CDCl3 and DMSO‐d6) and in the solid state. In the solid state, the compound crystallizes as an EZ isomer without dynamic properties. In CDCl3 solution, the structure is still EZ but with a slow nitrogen inversion about the pyrrolidine nitrogen: two invertomers have been observed and characterized. In DMSO‐d6, the rate is faster and only averaged signals were observed. GIAO calculated absolute shieldings were used to confirm the nature of the observed species. In the solid state, Gliclazide presents the phenomenon of solid‐solution with two disordered conformations present in the crystal at a 90:10 ratio. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

New Schiff bases and new hydrazones were synthesized and studied by (13)C and (15)N CP/MAS spectroscopy and by (1)H--(1)H COSY, (1)H--(13)C HMBC, (1)H--(13)C HSQC, (1)H--(15)N HMQC and (1)H--(15)N HSQC correlations. The CP/MAS investigation of gossypol has demonstrated that in the solid state it exists exclusively in the aldehyde-aldehyde tautomeric form. In contrast, CP/MAS studies of hydrazones and Schiff bases reveal that these compounds occur in the solid state in the N-imine-N-imine and enamine-enamine tautomeric forms, respectively. It is shown that the (13)C resonances of C-6, C-7 and C-11 carbon atoms are suitable for distinguishing between the tautomeric forms of aza-derivatives of gossypol in the solid state. Furthermore, we have proved that the (15)N CP/MAS spectra can be used to identify these tautomeric forms.  相似文献

In two dibenzodiazepinones, viz. the tricyclic core structure, 5H‐dibenzo[b,e]diazepin‐11(10H)‐one, C13H10N2O, and an acylated derivative, 1‐(11‐hydroxy‐5H‐dibenzo[b,e]diazepin‐5‐yl)‐2‐{4‐[3‐(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)propyl]piperidin‐1‐yl}ethanone ethanol monosolvate, C26H29N5O2·C2H5OH, dimeric association via hydrogen‐bond bridging between the cyclic amide entities is evident, but there are considerable differences between the parent compound and the amidated derivative. Highly consistent with reported structures of related tricyclic lactams, two molecules of the nonsubstituted compound are bridged through two N—H...O hydrogen bonds across a crystallographic centre of symmetry and the bond lengths of the cyclic amide entity correspond to the amino–oxo (lactam) tautomeric form. In contrast, the structure of the derivative shows two similar, but crystallographically unique, molecules hydrogen bonded into a dimeric unit exhibiting an approximate (noncrystallographic) C2 axis. The bond lengths of the two derivative cyclic amide groups support their potential presence in the hydroxyimine (lactim) tautomeric forms, with the resulting possibility of intermolecular tautomerism. Likely driving forces for the two extreme configurations are discussed.  相似文献

The complexes Ln(NO(3))(3)L(3) between Ln(NO(3))(3) and (i)Bu(3)PO (=L) have been prepared for Ln = La-Lu (excluding Pm). The isolated complexes have been characterized by infrared spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and elemental analysis. The single crystal X-ray structures have been determined for representative complexes across the series Ln = Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, and Yb and show the coordination geometry around the metal to be the same with 9-coordinate lanthanide ions and bidentate nitrates. Subtle changes in the coordination of the nitrate ligand occur from Sm onward. Changes in the infrared spectra correlate well with changes in the X-ray structures. Solution properties have been examined by variable temperature multinuclear ((1)H, (13)C, (15)N, and (31)P) NMR spectroscopy in CD(2)Cl(2). The spectra of complexes of the early lanthanides are consistent with the presence of a single species in solution while those of the heavier lanthanides show that more than one complex is present in solution and that two inequivalent phosphorus environments are observable at low temperature. The fluxional behavior is lanthanide dependent with smaller ions giving static structures at higher temperature. Complexes with tricyclohexylphosphine oxide show that the dynamic NMR behavior is also related to the size of the ligand. Analysis of the lanthanide induced shifts indicates minor changes in solution structure occur from Sm onward which correlate well with the solid state structures.  相似文献

The low aqueous solubility of celecoxib (CCB) hampers its oral bioavailability and permeation from aqueous environment through biological membranes. The aim of this study was to enhance the aqueous solubility of CCB by complexation with cyclodextrin (CD) in the presence of water-soluble polymer. The effects of different CDs (αCD, βCD, γCD, 2-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin and randomly methylated β-cyclodextrin (RMβCD)) and mucoadhesive, water-soluble polymers (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), chitosan and hyaluronic acid) were investigated. The phase solubility profiles and CCB/CD complex characteristics were determined. RMβCD exhibited the greatest solubilizing effect of the two CDs tested. However, γCD was also selected for further investigations due to its safety profile. Addition of polymer to the aqueous CD solutions enhanced the CD solubilization. Formation of CCB/RMβCD/HPMC and CCB/γCD/HPMC ternary complexes resulted in 11 and 19-fold enhancement in the apparent complexation efficiency in comparison to their CCB/CD binary complex, respectively. The size of ternary complex aggregates in solution were determined to be from about 250 to about 350 nm. The data obtained from Fourier transform infra-red, differential scanning calorimetry and powder X-ray diffraction indicated presence of CCB/CD inclusion complexes in the solid state. Proton nuclear magnetic resonance data demonstrated that CCB was partially and totally inserted into the hydrophobic central cavities of RMβCD and γCD.  相似文献

Tolbutamide-hydroxypropyl-gamma-cyclodextrin (TBM-HPGCD) interaction has been investigated in an aqueous environment and in the solid state. The solubility of TBM was increased in accord with the amount of HPGCD added to the aqueous medium forming a soluble inclusion compound. The phase solubility diagram obtained was of A(L) type. Physical mixtures and kneaded systems of the drug and cyclodextrin derivative were prepared in 1:1 and 1:2 drug/cyclodextrin mol/mol ratio. All solid binary systems were characterised by hot-stage microscopy (HSM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetry (TG) and X-ray powder diffractometry (XRD). An inclusion complex was formed in both of the kneaded systems. In the 1:2 kneaded system, the entire drug was included in the cyclodextrin cavity, while, in the 1:1 kneaded system only a part of the drug formed an inclusion complex with the cyclodextrin. A significant improvement in the dissolution of the drug was obtained from the kneaded systems in comparison with that of the pure TBM and physical mixtures. However, there was no significant difference between the dissolution profiles of the two kneaded systems. The study suggests that an inclusion complex was obtained both in aqueous solution and in solid state.  相似文献

A polymer-surfactant complex (OTAPA) was prepared by titration of aqueous poly(sodium acrylate) with stoichiometric amounts of octadecyltrimethylammonium chloride. The resulting product is not water-soluble and does not dissolve in most polar and nonpolar, liquids. OTAPA has peculiar thermal behaviour and interesting structural properties. It has a high melting temperature and decomposes around 350 °C. According to preliminary X-ray findings, the complex is formed by an arrangement of alkyl chains around the polymer skeleton, packed into a layered structure. The complex forms an elastic gel in ethylene glycol, and, to a much lesser extent, in glycerol or tetrahydrofuran, but is hardly water-soluble. Indeed, the occurrence of micelle-assisted dissolution and the precipitation of OTAPA from such mixtures, upon dilution with water, have been observed. Applications of OTAPA as a hydrophobic modifier of surfaces can be considered.  相似文献

We report on the formation and the structural properties of "supermicellar" aggregates made from mineral nanoparticles and polyelectrolyte-neutral block copolymers in aqueous solutions. The mineral particles put under scrutiny are ultrafine and positively charged yttrium hydroxyacetate nanoparticles. Combining light, neutron, and X-ray scattering experiments, we have characterized the sizes and the aggregation numbers of the organic-inorganic complexes. We have found that the hybrid aggregates have typical sizes in the range of 100 nm and exhibit a remarkable colloidal stability with respect to ionic strength and concentration variations. Solid films with thicknesses up to several hundreds of micrometers were cast from solutions, resulting in a bulk polymer matrix in which nanoparticle clusters are dispersed and immobilized. It was found in addition that the structure of the complexes remains practically unchanged during film casting.  相似文献

We examined the deep UV 229 nm photochemistry of NaNO(3) in solution and in the solid state. In aqueous solution excitation within the deep UV NO(3)ˉ strong π → π* transition causes the photochemical reaction NO(3)ˉ → NO(2)ˉ + O·. We used UV resonance Raman spectroscopy to examine the photon dose dependence of the NO(2)ˉ band intensities and measure a photochemical quantum yield of 0.04 at pH 6.5. We also examined the response of solid NaNO(3) samples to 229 nm excitation and also observe formation of NO(2)ˉ. The quantum yield is much smaller at ~10(-8). The solid state NaNO(3) photochemistry phenomena appear complex by showing a significant dependence on the UV excitation flux and dose. At low flux/dose conditions NO(2)ˉ resonance Raman bands appear, accompanied by perturbed NO(3)ˉ bands, indicating stress in the NaNO(3) lattice. Higher flux/dose conditions show less lattice perturbation but SEM shows surface eruptions that alleviate the stress induced by the photochemistry. Higher flux/dose measurements cause cratering and destruction of the NaNO(3) surface as the surface layers are converted to NO(2)ˉ. Modest laser excitation UV beams excavate surface layers in the solid NaNO(3) samples. At the lowest incident fluxes a pressure buildup competes with effusion to reach a steady state giving rise to perturbed NO(3)ˉ bands. Increased fluxes result in pressures that cause the sample to erupt, relieving the pressure.  相似文献

The protonation of leucoemeraldine in power form and in N-methylpyrrolidinone (NMP) solution by HCIO4 and HBF4 has been studied by x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), infrared (IR), and ultraviolet (UV)-visible absorption spectroscopy. In powder form, less than 25% of the amine nitrogens can be protonated in the absence of oxygen. The effects of oxygen on the degree of protonation and the distribution of amine and imine units upon deprotonation of the salt are investigated. The degree of protonation in leuccemeraldine can be increased to about 50% with 3 M HCIO4, similar to that achievable with emeraldine base in powder form. In NMP solution, leucoemeraldine is easily oxidized by dissolved oxygen. Protonation of both leucoemeraldine and emeraldine base in NMP solutions results in metastable species which gradually undergo deprotonation. The resulting products are affected by the O2 content of the solutions. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

The densities of anthracene, tetracyanoethylene, maleic anhydride, N-phenylmaleineimide, trans, trans-1,4-diphenylbuta-1,3-diene, and their Diels-Alder adducts were measured in the solid state and in solution at 25 °C. The reaction volumes in the solid state were calculated from the difference in molar volumes. They turned out to be low, close to each other (–4 to –11 cm3 mol–1), and slightly different from the reaction volumes (–8±1 cm3 mol–1) calculated from the van der Waals radii. The reaction volumes in solutions (–15 to –32 cm3 mol–1) were found from the difference in partial molar volumes of the reactants in dioxane, acetonitrile, and 1,2-dichloroethane, The experimental Diels-Alder reaction volumes in solution are determined not only by the formation of new bonds in an adduct: a considerably higher contribution (to 75%) is made by a change in the volume of intermolecular empty spaces in solution on going from reactants to adducts.__________Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Cyclobutane compounds are a class of compounds that can be conveniently synthesized in the solid state by employing crystal engineering principles. The rctt-isomer (or the syn-dimer) is the most common form of any cyclobutene compound that is obtained in the solid state by the photochemical [2 + 2] cycloaddition reactions. However, these rctt-isomers can be converted to other less accessible forms, under some special conditions. Isomerization of cyclobutane compounds thus plays an important role in synthetic chemistry. Such isomerization of cyclobutane compounds have been reported in organic salts, metal complexes, coordination polymers and metal-organic frameworks. In this review, these fascinating examples of isomerization that occur both in the solid state and solution phase have been discussed.  相似文献

Novel Janus-type nucleoside analogues (1a-d) were synthesized. Their pyrimido[4,5-d]pyrimidine base moiety has one face with a bidentate Watson-Crick donor-acceptor (DA) H-bond array of adenine and the other face with an acceptor-donor (AD) H-bond array of thymine. These nucleosides may self-associate through the self-complementary base pair. Indeed, in the solid state, compound 6d displayed a honeycomb-like supramolecular structure with tetrameric membered cavities formed through the combination of reverse Watson-Crick base pairs and aromatic stacking, in which the solvent molecules were accommodated. The result of temperature-dependent CD studies showed that the free nucleosides can form higher order chiral structures in aqueous solution.  相似文献
