1H and 13C nmr spectra of several N‐ and C‐substituted carbazoles (Series 1, 2, 3 and 4) were measured. Correlations between chemical shifts and substituent constants show that these parameters describe properly the substituent effect on the nmr phenomena. Atomic charge densities for carbazoles of Series 1, 2, 3 and 4 were calculated by using the semi empirical PM3 method. These values also show a linear correlation with the 13C chemical shifts. The synthesis of several carbazole derivatives 1a – 1g, 2a – 2g, 3a – 3j and 4a – 4g have been carried out according to literature procedures. The carbazoles 3i, 3j and 4c have been synthesized and fully characterized for the first time.  相似文献

The influence of lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium and cesium on the electronic system of 2-aminonicotinic acid (2-ANA) was studied by the methods of molecular spectroscopy. The vibrational (FT-IR, FT-Raman) and NMR (1H and 13C) spectra of 2-aminonicotinic acid and its alkali metal salts were recorded. Characteristic shifts and changes in intensities of bands along the metal series were observed. The changes of chemical shifts of protons (1H NMR) and carbons (13C NMR) in the series of studied alkali metal 2-aminonicotinates (2-AN) were observed too.Optimized geometrical structures of the studied compounds were calculated by the B3LYP method using the 6-311++G** basis set. Aromaticity indices, atomic charges, dipole moments and energies were also calculated. The theoretical chemical shifts in 1H and 13C NMR spectra and theoretical wavenumbers and intensities of IR and Raman spectra were determined. The calculated parameters were compared to the experimental characteristics of the studied compounds.  相似文献

The direct molecular structure implementations of the gage-including atomic orbital (GIAO), individual gages for atoms in molecules (IGAIM) and continuous set of gage transformations (CSGT) methods for calculating nuclear magnetic shielding tensors at both the Hartree-Fock (HF) and density functional (B3LYP) levels of theory with 6-31G(d), 6-311G(d), 6-31++G(d,p), 6-311++G(d,p), and 6-311++G(df,pd) basis sets are presented. Dependence on the 1H and 13C NMR chemical shifts on the choice of method and basis set have been investigated. Also, these chemical shifts of 2-aryl-1,3,4-oxadiazoles 5a–g have been performed related to dihedral angles (C4–C3–C2–O) of two conformers. The optimized molecular geometries and 1H and 13C chemical shift values of 2-aryl-1,3,4-oxadiazoles 5a–g in the ground state have been obtained. The linear correlation coefficients of 13C NMR chemical shifts for these molecules were given. The new nuclear magnetic shielding tensors of tetramethylsilane (TMS) were calculated. The data of 2-aryl-1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives display significant molecular structure and NMR analysis. Also, these provide the basis for future design of efficient materials having the 1,3,4-oxadiazole core.  相似文献

The structures and energies of the carbocations C 4H 7 (+) and C 5H 9 (+) were calculated using the ab initio method. The (13)C NMR chemical shifts of the carbocations were calculated using the GIAO-CCSD(T) method. The pisigma-delocalized bisected cyclopropylcarbinyl cation, 1 and nonclassical bicyclobutonium ion, 2 were found to be the minima for C 4H 7 (+) at the MP2/cc-pVTZ level. At the MP4(SDTQ)/cc-pVTZ//MP2/cc-pVTZ + ZPE level the structure 2 is 0.4 kcal/mol more stable than the structure 1. The (13)C NMR chemical shifts of 1 and 2 were calculated by the GIAO-CCSD(T) method. Based on relative energies and (13)C NMR chemical shift calculations, an equilibrium involving the 1 and 2 in superacid solutions is most likely responsible for the experimentally observed (13)C NMR chemical shifts, with the latter as the predominant equilibrating species. The alpha-methylcyclopropylcarbinyl cation, 4, and nonclassical bicyclobutonium ion, 5, were found to be the minima for C 5H 9 (+) at the MP2/cc-pVTZ level. At the MP4(SDTQ)/cc-pVTZ//MP2/cc-pVTZ + ZPE level ion 5 is 5.9 kcal/mol more stable than the structure 4. The calculated (13)C NMR chemical shifts of 5 agree rather well with the experimental values of C 5H 9 (+).  相似文献

Cyclic six-membered ring sulfoxides and sulfones were prepared by a stepwise in situ oxidation of the corresponding sulfides with meta-chloroperbenzoic acid in an NMR tube. The oxidation was followed by NMR spectra and the 1H and 13C NMR data were collected. The geometries of all of the compounds were optimized using the DFT B3LYP/6-31G∗∗ method and the 13C and 1H NMR chemical shifts were calculated for geometry-optimized structures with the DFT B3LYP/6-31++G∗∗ method. The calculated 13C NMR chemical shifts induced by oxidation (Δδ values) are in very good agreement with the experimental data and can be used to determine the oxidation state of the sulfur atom (-S-, -SO-, -SO2-). The characteristic differences of the induced oxidation chemical shifts of carbon atoms at the α- and β-position to sulfur were successfully used for distinguishing between the diastereoisomeric sulfoxides.  相似文献

Cyclic five-membered ring sulfoxides and sulfones were prepared by a stepwise in situ oxidation of the corresponding sulfides with meta-chloroperbenzoic acid in an NMR tube. The oxidation was followed by NMR and both 1H and 13C NMR data were collected. The geometries of all of the compounds were optimized using the DFT B3LYP/6-31G7 method and the 13C and 1H chemical shifts were calculated for geometry-optimized structures with the DFT B3LYP/6-31++G7 method. The calculated 13C chemical shifts induced by oxidation (Δδ values) were in very good agreement with the experimental data and could be used to determine the oxidation state of the sulfur atom (–S–, –SO–, –SO2–). The characteristic differences of the induced oxidation chemical shifts of the carbon atoms in the α-position and β-position to sulfur were successfully used to distinguish between the diastereoisomeric sulfoxides and allowed configuration determination.  相似文献

Tri-O-methylcellulose was prepared from partially O-methylated cellulose and its chemical shifts (1H and 13C), and proton coupling constants were assigned using the following NMR methods: (1) One-dimensional 1H and 13C spectra of the title compound were used to assign functional groups and to compare with literature data; (2) double quantum filtered proton–proton correlation spectroscopy (1H, 1H DQF-COSY) was used to assign the chemical shifts of the network of 7 protons in the anhydroglucose portion of the repeat unit; (3) the heteronuclear single-quantum coherence (HSQC) spectrum was used to establish connectivities between the bonded protons and carbons; (4) the heteronuclear multiple-bond correlation (HMBC) spectrum was used to connect the hydrogens of the methyl ethers to their respective sugar carbons; (5) the combination of HSQC and HMBC spectra was used to assign the 13C shifts of the methyl ethers; (6) all spectra were used in combination to verify the assigned chemical shifts; (7) first-order proton coupling constants data (JH,H in Hz) were obtained from the resolution-enhanced proton spectra. The NMR spectra of tri-O-methylcellulose and other cellulose ethers do not resemble the spectra of similarly substituted cellobioses. Although the 1H and 13C shifts and coupling constants of 2,3,6-tri-O-methylcellulose closely resemble those of methyl tetra-O-methyl-β-D -glucoside, there are differences with regard to the chemical shifts and the order of appearances of the resonating nuclei of the methyl ether appendages and the proton at position 4 in the pyranose ring. H4 in tri-O-methylcellulose is deshielded by the acetal system comprising the β-1→4 linkage, and it resonates downfield. H4 in the permethylated glucoside is not as deshielded by the equitorial O-methyl group at C4, and it resonates upfield. The order of appearance of the 1H and 13C resonances in the spectra of the tri-O-methylcellulose repeat unit (from upfield to downfield) are H2 < H3 < H5 < H6a < H3a < H2a < pro R H6B < H4 < pro S H6A ≪ H1 and C6a < C3a < C2a < C6 < C5 < C4 < C2 < C3 ≪ C1, respectively. Close examination of the pyranose ring coupling constants of the repeat unit in tri-O-methylcellulose supports the 4C1 arrangement of the glucopyranose ring. Examination of the proton coupling constants about the C5-C6 bond (J5,6A and J5,6B) in the nuclear Overhauser effect difference spectra revealed that the C6 O-methyl group is predominantly in the gauche gauche conformation about the C5-C6 bond for the polymer in solution. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.* J Polym Sci A: Polym Chem 37: 4019–4032, 1999  相似文献

Based on the optimized molecular geometries at the DFT‐B3LYP/6‐31G?? level, IR spectra, thermodynamic functions, as well as 13C and 1H NMR chemical shifts, were obtained and discussed for polynitro‐1,3‐bishomo‐pentaprismanes (PNBPP). The comparison of the calculated IR frequencies and NMR chemical shifts showed considerable agreements with the available experimental results. IR regions, 13C and 1H NMR chemical shifts of PNBPP were assigned. The relationships of the thermodynamic functions with temperature and the number of nitro groups were discussed, and it was found that the latter showed a good group additivity rule. These calculated data and discussions would be helpful for the further study of PNBPP.  相似文献

1H and 13C NMR spectra of 8-hydroxyquinoline (oxine) and its 5-Me, 5-F, 5-Cl, 5-Br and 5-NO2 derivatives have been studied in DMSO-d6 solution. The 1H and 13C chemical shifts and proton–proton, proton–fluorine, carbon–proton and carbon–fluorine coupling constants have been determined. The 1H and 13C chemical shifts have been correlated with the charge densities on the hydrogen and carbon atoms calculated by the CNDO/2 method. The correlation of the 1H and 13C chemical shifts with the total charge densities on the carbon atoms is approximately linear (rH2 = 0.85, rC2 = 0.84). The proton in peri position to the nitro group in 5-NO2-oxine is an exception.  相似文献

1H NMR spectra are reported for Michler's ketone and twenty of its derivatives, along with 13C chemical shifts for five of the compounds. 1H chemical shifts show only small changes with increasing substitution at the sterically hindered 2-position. Estimates of the dihedral angle between the benzene ring and C? CO? C planes have been obtained from the chemical shifts of C?O and 4-C for ketones 1, 3, 5, 15 and 16 . These angles are both internally consistent and very similar to dihedral angles determined by other methods for corresponding compounds in the benzophenone series.  相似文献

Phtalides are secondary metabolites found in several fungi with a wide range of biological activities. A novel phthalide analog was synthesized by Diels–Alder reaction between cyclopentadiene and 3,4-dichlorofuran-2(5H)-one. Quantum mechanical calculations were used in conjunction with the spectrometric methods to determine the structure of the title compound. The calculated NMR chemical shifts for eight candidate pairs of enantiomers were compared with the experimental NMR chemical shifts applying the DP4 probability and mean absolute errors methodology. DP4 analysis using 1H and 13C NMR chemical shifts without assignment of the signals presented 100% probability for the correct candidate structure 3d , proving the consistency of the method even without spectra interpretation. Results from theoretical calculation and NMR spectra interpretation were in agreement to the structure of rac-(3aR,4S,4aS,5R,8S,8aR,9R,9aS)-3a,9a-dichloro-3a,4,4a,5,8,8a,9,9a-octahydro-4,9:5,8-dimethanonaphtho[2,3-c]furan-1(3H)-one.  相似文献

2‐(Ethoxycarbonylmethoxy)‐5‐(arylazo)benzaldehydes 1–4 and their oximes 5–8 were synthesized and characterized by IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. The favoured conformations of aldehydes 1–4 and oximes 5–8 were predicted theoretically. Selected geometrical parameters and charges were derived from optimized structures. IR, 1H and 13C NMR data were also computed using Gaussian‐03 package and compared with the observed values. 15N and 17O chemical shifts were also determined theoretically. As is well‐known, the C2?H proton of 1‐ethyl‐3‐methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([Emim]BF4) and 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([Bmim]BF4) has a strong ability to form hydrogen bonds. The purpose of this work is to evaluate the effect of the interactions of the C4?H and C5?H protons on the microstructure of [Emim]BF4 and [Bmim]BF4 with water by using 1H NMR spectroscopy. The differences between the relative 1H NMR chemical shifts of C2?H, C4?H, and C5?H and between the interaction‐energy parameters obtained from these chemical shifts are minor, thus suggesting that the interactions of C4?H and C5?H may have a considerable effect on the microstructure. To confirm this, the viscosities of the systems are estimated by using the interaction‐energy parameters obtained from the 1H NMR chemical shifts of the three studied aromatic protons and water, showing that the interactions of C4?H and C5?H also play an important role in the microstructure.  相似文献

Substituent effects on the 13C and 1H chemical shifts have been studied for derivatives of 3-benzylidene-2, 4-pentanedione. A significant correlation has been found between chemical shifts of the Z carbonyl group (C-2) and Hammett constants, while no correlation has been found for the E carbonyl group (C-4). Attempts have been made to determine the structural factors which influence these effects. The conformation of 3-benzylidene-2, 4-pentanediones has been determined by 13C and 1H NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

13C NMR shielding constants (chemical shifts) of iodomethanes were calculated within the framework of the full four-component relativistic Dirac—Coulomb scheme. As the number of iodine atoms in the molecule increases, the relativistic counterpart of the 13C NMR chemical shift increases from a few tens to several hundreds of ppm. Calculations of 13C NMR chemical shifts of organoiodine compounds should be performed at the relativistic level using relativistic Dyall’s basis sets dyall.vXz and dyall.xvXz (x = a, c, ac, ae; X = 2, 3, 4) of at least triple-zeta quality or at the correlated non-relativistic level taking into account relativistic corrections. Solvent effects are not of prime importance; however, taking into account the solvent corrections causes the mean absolute error of determination of the 13C NMR chemical shifts to decrease by 1—2 ppm.  相似文献

The PBE0/pcSseg-2//pcseg-2 calculations of 1H and 13C NMR chemical shifts were performed for a classical series of 12 Strychnos alkaloids (except for the earlier studied parent strychnine), namely akuammicine, isostrychnine, rosibiline, tsilanine, spermostrychnine, diaboline, cyclostrychnine, henningsamide, strychnosilidine, strychnobrasiline, holstiine, and icajine. It was found that the calculated 1H and 13C NMR chemical shifts show markedly good correlations with available experimental data, as characterized by a mean absolute error of 0.22 ppm for the range of 8 ppm for protons and 1.97 ppm for the range of 180 ppm for carbons. Complementarily, the present results provide essential NMR update and fill a gap in the NMR data of this distinguished group of vitally important natural products.  相似文献

Chemical shifts and substituent chemical shift (SCS) effects are reported for 21 monosubstituted iso-quinolines, carrying a halogeno, amino, piperidino or ethoxy group in position 1, 3 or 4. In some cases, assignments of 13C resonances were based on the spectra of the corresponding 5-deutero derivatives. For the fluoroisoquinolines some 13CF coupling constants are given. The 13C NMR spectra of 15 disubstituted isoquinolines were measured; with a few exceptions, mainly the 3,4- and 1,4-disubstituted isoquinolines, the chemical shifts agreed well with those calculated by addition of the SCS effects.  相似文献

Structures of a series of push-pull 2-alkylidene-4-thiazolidinones and 2-alkylidene-4,5-fused bicyclic thiazolidine derivatives were optimized at the B3LYP/6-31G(d) level of theory in the gas phase and discussed with respect to configurational and conformational stability. Employing the GIAO method, 13C NMR chemical shifts of the C-2, C-2′, C-4 and C-5 atoms were calculated at the same level of theory in the gas phase and with inclusion of solvent, and compared with experimental data. Push-pull effect of all compounds was quantified by means of the quotient π/π, length of the partial double bond, 13C NMR chemical shift difference (ΔδCC) and 1H NMR chemical shifts of olefinic protons. The effect of bromine on donating and accepting ability of other substituents of the push-pull CC double bond is discussed, too.  相似文献

The 13C chemical shifts of 37 pyrazines, including their N-oxides, are reported. Substituent effects of methyl, phenyl and N-oxide groups on the chemical shifts were examined. To comprehend these effects, the chemical shifts were compared with charge densities calculated by the CNDO/2 method and a good correlation was obtained. 13C, 1H coupling constants of some pyrazines were also determined and assigned. These data enable us to assign the 13C NMR spectra of substituted pyrazines and to understand the effects of N-oxidation on the pyrazine nuclei.  相似文献
