In the present investigation, the Mittag-Leffler functions with their normalization are considered. Several sufficient conditions are obtained so that the Mittag-Leffler functions have certain geometric properties including univalency, starlikeness, convexity and close-to-convexity in the open unit disk. Partial sums of Mittag-Leffler functions are also studied. The results obtained are new and their usefulness is depicted by deducing several interesting corollaries and examples. 相似文献

Generalized Orlicz–Lorentz sequence spaces λφ generated by Musielak‐Orlicz functions φ satisfying some growth and regularity conditions (see [28] and [33]) are investigated. A regularity condition δλ 2 for φ is defined in such a way that it guarantees many positive topological and geometric properties of λφ. The problems of the Fatou property, the order continuity and the Kadec–Klee property with respect to the uniform convergence of the space λφ are considered. Moreover, some embeddings between λφ and their two subspaces are established and strict monotonicity as well as lower and upper local uniform monotonicities are characterized. Finally, necessary and sufficient conditions for rotundity of λφ, their subspaces of order continuous elements and finite dimensional subspaces are presented. In the present paper we prove that, in the case 4B2 of U. Abresch (Math. Ann. 264 (1983), 283-302) (i.e., where ), must be either 2 or 4. As a by-product, we prove that the focal manifold of an isoparametric hypersurface is homeomorphic to a bundle over if one of the following conditions holds: (1) and or ; (2) and . This generalizes partial results of Wang (1988) about the topology of Clifford type examples. Consequently, the hypersurface is homeomorphic to an iterated sphere bundle under the above condition.

In this paper authors prove a general theorem on generating relations for a certain sequence of functions. Many formulas involving the families of generating functions for generalized hypergeometric polynomials are shown here to be special cases of a general class of generating functions involving generalized hypergeometric polynomials and multiple hypergeometric series of several variables. In this paper, we revisit the Mordukhovich subdifferential criterion for Lipschitz continuity of nonsmooth functions and the coderivative criterion for the Aubin/Lipschitz-like property of set-valued mappings in finite dimensions. The criteria are useful and beautiful results in modern variational analysis showing the state of the art of the field. The paper deals with the theory of space mappings. For a generalization of quasiregular mappings important for the investigation
