Various existence, multiplicity, and nonexistence results for nontrivial solutions to a nonlinear discrete fourth-order Lidstone boundary value problem with dependence on two parameters are given, using a symmetric Green’s function approach. The mathematical model of a real flexible elastic system with distributed and discrete parameters is considered. It is a partial differential equation with non-classical boundary conditions. Complexity of the boundary conditions makes it impossible to find exact analytical solutions. To address the problem, we use the asymptotical method of small parameters together with the numerical method of normal fundamental systems of solutions. These methods allow us to investigate vibrations, and a technique for determination of complex eigenvalues of the considered boundary value problem is developed. The conditions, at which vibration processes of different characteristics take place, are defined. The dependence of the vibration frequencies on the physical parameters of the hybrid system is studied. We show that introduction of different feedbacks into the system allows one to control the frequency spectrum, in which excitation of vibrations is possible.  相似文献

In this paper we are going to discuss the difference schemes with intrinsic parallelism for the boundary value problem of the two dimesional semilinear parabolic systems.The unconditional stability of the general finite difference schemes with intrinsic parallelism is justified in the sense of the continuous dependence of the discrete vector solution of the difference schemes on the discrete data of the original problems in the discrete W2^(2,1) norms.Then the uniqueness of the discrete vector solution of this difference scheme follows as the consequence of the stability.  相似文献

A kind of the general finite difference schemes with intrinsic parallelism forthe boundary value problem of the quasilinear parabolic system is studied without assum-ing heuristically that the original boundary value problem has the unique smooth vectorsolution. We write formulas for soliton solutions of the discrete Toda chain and pose the integrable boundary value problem for this chain. We find conditions for the parameters (discrete spectrum points, transmission coefficients, and the corresponding factors) whereby solutions of the integrable boundary value problem are selected from all soliton solutions. The general finite difference schemes with intrinsic parallelism for the boundary value problem of the semilinear parabolic system of divergence type with bounded measurable coefficients is studied. By the approach of the discrete functional analysis, the existence and uniqueness of the discrete vector solutions of the nonlinear difference system with intrinsic parallelism are proved. Moreover the unconditional stability of the general difference schemes with intrinsic parallelism justified in the sense of the continuous dependence of the discrete vector solution of the difference schemes on the discrete initial data of the original problems in the discrete W_2~(2,1) (Q△) norms. In this paper, eigenvalues of perturbed discrete linear Hamiltonian systems are considered. A new variational formula of eigenvalues is first established. Based on it, error estimates of eigenvalues of systems with small perturbation are given under certain non-singularity conditions. Small perturbations of the coefficient functions, the weight function and the coefficients of the boundary condition are all involved. As a direct consequence, continuous dependence of eigenvalues on boundary value problems is obtained under the non-singularity conditions. In addition, two examples are presented to illustrate the necessity of the non-singularity conditions and the complexity of the problem in the singularity case.  相似文献

The boundary value problem for the Helmholtz equation in a quadrant with different Robin's or impedance‐type conditions is considered by the use of variational methods and boundary pseudodifferential equations. The coerciveness of the underlying sesquilinear form in dependence of the impedance parameters is proved. Approximations to a solution and its derivatives of a boundary value problem of an nth order linear Fredholm integro-differential equation with weakly singular or other nonsmooth kernels are determined. These approximations are piecewise polynomial functions on special graded grids. For their finding a discrete Galerkin method and an integral equation reformulation of the boundary value problem are used. Optimal global convergence estimates are derived and an improvement of the convergence rate of the method for a special choice of parameters is obtained. To illustrate the theoretical results a collection of numerical results of a test problem is presented.  相似文献
