Existence and uniqueness of pseudo almost periodic solutions to some abstract partial neutral functional-differential equations and applications

The paper considers the existence and uniqueness of pseudo almost periodic (mild) solutions to some classes of first-order partial neutral functional-differential equations. Upon making some suitable assumptions, existence and uniqueness results are obtained. Applications include both a partial integro-differential equation arising in control systems and the scalar reaction-diffusion equation with delay.     

Behavior of bounded solutions for some almost periodic neutral partial functional differential equations

We establish a Bochner type characterization for Stepanov almost periodic functions, and we prove a new result about the integration of almost periodic functions. This result is then used together with a reduction principle to investigate the nature of bounded solutions of some almost periodic partial neutral functional differential equations. More specifically, we prove that all bounded solutions on are almost periodic. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

Existence of almost periodic solutions for strong stable impulsive differential equations

Conditions for strong stability and the existence of almostperiodic solutions of systems of impulsive differential equationswith impulsive effect at fixed moments are obtained. The investigationsare carried out by means of piecewise continuous functions whichare analogues of Lyapunov functions.

Existence of almost periodic solutions for neutral delay difference systems

In this paper, the existence of almost periodic solutions is studied via the Lyapunov function. Razumikhin type theorems are established on the existence, uniqueness and uniformly asymptotic stability of almost periodic solutions. Two examples are given to explain our results.

The existence of almost periodic solutions of nonlinear Volterra difference equations with unbounded delay is obtained by using uniform stability properties of a bounded solution. An example is also given to illustrate obtained results.

On a new class of abstract neutral differential equations

In this work we introduce a new class of abstract neutral differential equations and study the existence of mild and strict solutions. Some concrete applications involving partial neutral differential equations are considered.     

Almost periodic solutions of discrete Volterra equations

For discrete Volterra equations with or without delay, we obtain several results concerning almost periodic solutions and asymptotically almost periodic solutions under certain conditions. We also investigate the relations among solutions of equations discussed and give an example to illustrate our results.

Existence of asymptotically almost periodic solutions for damped wave equations

In this paper, a class of nonlinear damped wave equations of the form αu^?(t)+u^″(t)=βAu(t)+γAu^′(t)+f(t,u(t)), t?0, satisfying αβ<γ with prescribed initial conditions are studied. Some sufficient conditions are established for the existence and uniqueness of an asymptotically almost periodic solution. These results have significance in the study of vibrations of flexible structures possessing internal material damping. Finally, an example is presented to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the results.     

Spatially almost periodic solutions for active scalar equations

We are concerned with a family of dissipative active scalar equation on . By using similar methods from the previous paper of Y. Giga et al. (see Introduction below), we construct a unique real, spatially almost periodic mild solution θ of 1.1 satisfying 1.11 . In this paper, we consider some countable sum‐closed frequency sets (see Remark 1.1 ). We show that the property of the solution is rather different from Chae et al 1 and obtain that with some initial data θ₀ for all t≥0, and 0≤α≤ω, where ω is a fixed constant. Furthermore, arranging the elements of a countable sum‐closed frequency set F_δ as in Remark 1.3 , we have for any 0≤α≤ω that belongs to , where F_δ is defined in 1.4 or 1.5 .     

Asymptotically almost automorphic solutions for some integrodifferential equations with nonlocal initial conditions

Of concern is a class of abstract semilinear integrodifferential equations with nonlocal initial conditions. Under some suitable hypotheses, we establish some new theorems about the existence of asymptotically almost automorphic solutions to the integrodifferential equations. Moreover, an example is given to illustrate our results.     

Existence of weighted pseudo almost periodic solutions to some classes of hyperbolic evolution equations

This paper is concerned with the study of weighted pseudo almost periodic solutions to some classes of hyperbolic differential equations. Upon making some suitable assumptions, the existence and uniqueness of a weighted pseudo almost periodic solution is obtained. To illustrate our main result, we study the existence of a weighted pseudo almost periodic solution to a system of partial differential equations arising in control systems described by abstract retarded functional-differential equations with feedback control.     

On the almost periodic solutions of Lattices equations

By using the Ekeland variational principle and the calculus of variations in mean, we study the existence of almost periodic solutions of a class of advanced-retarded differential equation. We show that under some hypothesis, for any given almost periodic forcing term can be ‘perturbed’ so that the corresponding forced equation admits an almost periodic solution.     

Weighted pseudo almost periodic solutions of N-th order neutral differential equations with piecewise constant arguments

In this work, we present some existence theorems of weighted pseudo almost periodic solutions for N-th order neutral differential equations with piecewise constant argument by means of weighted pseudo almost periodic solutions of relevant difference equations.
